X240 hangs on windows 7 boot @ desktop
So brand new x240, got it monday. i dont think this is isolated to this particular x240 but i seem to have these issues on all my lenovo x/t-series. Saw it on x200/201/220/230 and now x240
Basically I get these machine, build a reference image which is Windows 7 Pro, Windows update + Lenovo system update
Aps loaded
-Symantec AV
-Malwarebytes
-Office 2010
-MySQL ODBC driver
I would say the last 5 boot up, windows boots all the way to desktop, than it hour glass if you move the cursor towards the bottom task bar. Desktop is clickable but nothing else. Control-Alt-Delete does not bring up anything and it would hourglass for hours if i left the machine to test. So far my only way out to to hold the power button down. I thought this might be an issue with the restore media that I usually use but this is basically a new machine and windows is already acting weird. Any suggestions on where to look ? going to parse the logs on safe mode..
Any suggestions or ideas will be great..
Rpolak53105 do you receive any specific error messages? I would recommend you start with Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html as it is possible the connection to the Adobe servers could be blocked and cause the application to freeze.

After Security updation of Windows 7 in Boot Camp (Mac Book Pro with Retina Display) on 13-Nov-2013, Windows 7 Desktop Gadgets are not working properly.
This is boot camp problem, because in other normal notebooks (e.g. SONY VAIO, Lenovo with Windows 7) the gadgets are working normally.
I am attaching the screen shot of Desktop Gadgets and Security updates of Windows 7.
Kindly solve this issue ASAP.

[HELP] A300 Desktop Stuck at Windows Boot Manager Page
Hi Community,
I was trying to restore my desktop back to its orginal factory settings but through the process, it encountered an error and the system restarted. When the desktop is back on, the only page it offered was the 'Windows Boot Manager' page (As seen in the picture below). It says to insert the Windows Installation disc which not only do i not have, but also the A300 desktop does not have a disc/disk drive for me to insert any disc.
I have googled for any solutions but all of them require me to insert the disc which i clearly have no ways to do so.
How am i suppose to proceed from here to get my desktop working again?
Thank you in advance for any kind responses.Hi lyl
The hard disk MBR seems to be corrupted
Kindly boot the desktop into BIOS by pressing F1 key and then press F9 to load default settings and after this press F10 to save and exit.
Check if the system works or recovery from hard disk runs, to run the recovery after the system power on press F2 key and check if the recovery works fine.
If the issue continues then you may need to contact the support center.

Windows XP hang up during boot up
i am having a prob that i dont see an answer for. i am on a MacBookPro with OSX 10.5.4
i used boot camp and set up XP with SP2. it worked for a while, then it started hanging up during boot. i would get the windows splash page and then i got the black screen. it just stays black every time i try it.
Please Help?!?Hi and welcome to Discussions,
prior to your problems, did you install any new programms or updates ?
Have a look at the Safe Boot options of XP described here: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B315222&x=10&y=11
Especially the Safe Boot and/or Boot Logging options might provide some informations, why XP is not booting.

Efibootmgr & gummiboot replaced UEFI entry for Windows Boot Manager
TLDR
I am now in Windows 7 and dual boot with Arch is working fine.
But before I update Arch, I would like to understand what happened, as in why adding an efibootmgr entry for Arch replaced/deleted the Windows Boot Manager entry although I followed the BG.
The status of my UEFI boot menu was, before the installation of Arch:
Windows Boot Manager
AHCI HDJ... (hard drive 1)
AHCI ST... (hard drive 2)
While working through the BG, I decided to use gummiboot=> https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Be … #Gummiboot. So:
pacman -S gummiboot
gummiboot install
pacman -S efibootmgr
gummiboot install
[some error ocurred, as mentioned in red box]
efibootmgr -c -L "Gummiboot" -l /EFI/gummiboot/gummibootx64.efi
nano /boot/loader/entries/arch.conf
title Arch Linux
linux /vmlinuz-linux
initrd /initramfs-linux.img
options root=/dev/sdb3 ro
[CTRL + X, Y, Enter]
exit
umount /mnt/{boot,home,}
reboot
I then saw a new list of the UEFI boot order:
Gummiboot
AHCI HDJ... (hard drive 1)
AHCI ST... (hard drive 2)
Chose Gummiboot and it brought up a gummiboot menu with entries
Arch Linux
Windows Boot Manager
EFI Shell something
Selected Arch Linux and it went to a message something along "boot device ' ' not found" and I was in a shell which was, I think, rootfs.
I rebooted via the button on my desktop and out the Arch Linux USB drive back. After mounting the partitions:
gummiboot remove
efibootmgr
[0000: Windows Boot Manager
[0001: Arch Linux
[0002: AHCI HDJ...
[0003: AHCI ST...
exit
umount /mnt/{boot,home,}
reboot
Now I booted into a black screen with white text which said something "Reboot and select proper Boot device"
=> Inserted Win 7 64-bit DVD, repaired the boot sector. Rebooted, saw I had these entries again:
Windows Boot Manager
AHCI HDJ... (hard drive 1)
AHCI ST... (hard drive 2)
The boot into Windows worked fine. Rebooted, chrooted into my install again and:
efibootmgr
[0000: Arch Linux
[0001: Windows Boot Manager
[0003: AHCI HDJ...
[0003: AHCI ST...
efibootmogr -b 0 -B
Then I used the EFISTUB method:
efibootmgr -c -L "Arch Linux" -l /vmlinuz-linux -u "root=/dev/sdb3 ro initrd=/initramfs-linux.img"
efibootmgr
[0000: Windows Boot Manager
[0001: Arch Linux
[0002: AHCI HDJ...
[0003: AHCI ST...
exit
umount /mnt/{boot,home,}
reboot
On reboot, 'Windows Boot Manager' was again replaced by 'Arch Linux'.
=> Inserted Win 7 64-bit DVD, repaired the boot sector.
Rebooted, I have now Windows Boot Manager + Arch Linux and dual boot works now.
My questions:
What is going on with efibootmgr replacing/deleting the Windows entry? Is there something wrong with my UEFI menu?
In connection with 1., I would like to sync the EFISTUB Kernel (wiki entry) before I run pacman -Syu. Can I do that now?
Can I uninstall gummiboot now?
Last edited by jones (2013-07-11 12:30:55)henrik wrote:So in light of your post, I decided to ditch EFISTUB + gummiboot and try out GRUB. Thanks for clearing it up a bit. Which is what confuses me a great deal more, as GRUB/gummiboot obviously do not meddle with Microsoft's EFI files. Right?
EFI relies on two things to boot:
Boot loader program files on the ESP (or occasionally elsewhere).
NVRAM entries pointing to the boot loader files.
Your own problems seem to be with the NVRAM entries, not with the boot loader files themselves. Unfortunately, managing those NVRAM entries has proven to be problematic because of bugs in specific EFI implementations, bugs in efibootmgr and other tools that manipulate the NVRAM entries, poor documentation, and other factors.
To answer your question, though, no boot loader should mess with another's files. Such things can happen, though. The number of bugs that cause Microsoft's boot loader (EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi) to be treated deferentially have provoked some tools to use it as a target location for other boot loaders. (Ubuntu's Boot Repair tool does this in a rather overzealous way. So does my own rEFInd installer script, but only under certain narrow circumstances.) Also, the EFI/BOOT/bootx64.efi file is a special case; it's the fallback bootloader that's used when NVRAM entries are missing or don't work, and various boot loader installation procedures place copies in that location, so it can be overwritten and could contain just about anything.
However, the whole thing happened again with GRUB. So I did the whole "repairing Boot problems" with the Windows DVD rescue thingy again and deleted all non-Microsoft files from the EFI partition, /dev/sda1.
Then I formatted / (root) and installed arch again and followed the Beginners' Guide which suggest mounting /dev/sda1/ to /mnt/boot (in contrast to the GRUB entry where the ESP should be mounted to /mnt/boot/efi).
I strongly advise against doing a complete re-installation just to overcome a boot loader problem. Instead, figure out what the problem is and fix it. Doing a complete re-installation is not likely to fix anything, and depending on precisely how you do it, you could end up with a more complex problem. The reason is that the re-installation is not likely to erase the NVRAM entries from the old installation, so you could find that you've got additional stray NVRAM entries. If you do happen to fix the problem by re-installing (say, because you selected a different installation option), you're not likely to know what changed to fix the problem, so you could end up in the same boat should you need to re-install again in the future.
But it did not show this line
Found Windows 7 (loader) on /dev/sda1
... how come??
I've given up trying to understand GRUB's configuration scripts. You could try creating an entry manually by editing /etc/grub.d/40_custom; or you could forget about using the GRUB scripts and create a hand-crafted grub.cfg; or you could forget about using GRUB at all. I'm not a fan of GRUB, so my personal choice is the final one.
So for all the headache and time ... should I delete the EFI partition and recreate it maybe? I think it's possible using the Windows 7 DVD.
But somehow using efibootmgr on my UEFI list somehow invalidated the Windows entry.
Reviewing your posts, it seems that you want to use the EFI stub loader directly, but you're having problems with that because when you add it to the NVRAM entries, Windows drops off your boot manager's boot options. The obvious solution to this problem is to forget about adding the EFI stub loader directly to the NVRAM entries, and instead add a boot manager that can handle either a Linux kernel or the Windows boot loader. (IMHO, this is the superior solution anyhow; I disagree with the Arch wiki's emphasis on using the EFI stub loader "raw.") It seems you were trying to do this with GRUB but had problems booting Windows. Earlier you tried gummiboot but had problems booting Linux. My suggestion is to either go back to gummiboot and fix its problem or try rEFInd. The "device not found" error you reported with gummiboot is usually caused by either a missing (or incorrectly-specified) initrd file or by an incorrectly-specified "root=" option passed to the kernel. Check those possitilities, and if you need help, report what happens in more detail. If necessary, take a digital photo of the screen and post it here. (Make sure it's legible, though!)
You can try rEFInd with minimal disk by using a CD-R or USB flash drive image. Boot with that and your NVRAM and ESP won't be affected at all. If you can get rEFInd working from the flash drive, you can then install it to your hard disk and it should continue working. Note that you probably won't be able to boot Linux directly from rEFInd with your current configuration without adding a "root=" specification to the kernel command line. You can do this by hitting F2 or Insert twice rather than launching Linux by pressing Enter. Alternatively, you can create a refind_linux.conf file in the directory that holds your kernel. That file's contents are described in the rEFInd documentation. -

Hi Romko23, just pasted info from manual...PowerBook G4 "17" 5.3
Your PowerBook comes with a minimum of 512 megabytes (MB) of 533
MHz Double Data Rate (DDR2) Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory
(SDRAM) installed. Both memory slots can accept an SDRAM module that meets the
following specifications:
Double Data Rate Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (DDR SO-DIMM) format
 1.25 inch or smaller
512 MB or 1 gigabyte (GB)
 200-pin
 PC2-4200 DDR2 533 MHz Type RAM
PS my keyboad is loose...I tighten the tiny screws...only...once ...tried all the key-strokes...Comand-option..P-R.....safe-mode... etc...Mac only reacted ...once...right after.. I tightend K-board >>C-OpT- P-R...mac chimed twice...the Apple icon in grey screen got smaller....now after trying ...keyboard .boot short cuts 10 times..nothing...it chimes ...grey screen....apple in window...fan noice ....thats it...do you think I need to tighten screws...again,

How to restore Windows boot after resizing system partition ?
I have an fairly new HP Pavilion 14-n228ca notebook which I intend to use mostly for Linux, but still wish to occasionally run the WIndows 8.1 that it shipped with.
I installed CentOS 6.5 using the dual-boot procedure I have used many times in the past with XP and Vista, viz. resize the main NTFS filesystem, delete the partition and recreate it smaller at the exact same start byte.
Normally (on XP,Vista) Windows boots from GRUB, but here I get an error "file \Boot\BCD - missing or contains errors"
F9 at boot gets me a hardware boot menu, where I have a choice of "OS boot manager", EFI file, or "notebook hard drive". The last gets me GRUB. The first drops me to a repair menu where I can try autorepair, which fails, or a command
line.
The command line allows me to run diskpart and assign a drive letter to the system partition, at which point I can run chkfs successfully and access files.
If I try "bootrec /rebuildbcd" it finds one valid volume at \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HardDiskVolume4\Windows but then says "system cannot find the file specified"
How can I restore the ability to boot the Windows partition, preferably without messing up the Linux one ?I have an fairly new HP Pavilion 14-n228ca notebook which I intend to use mostly for Linux, but still wish to occasionally run the WIndows 8.1 that it shipped with.

assuming your recovery partition is still extant, you can run that and go back to factory
backup files first natually
use a virtual machine linux or cloud

Hardcore Games Legendary is the Only Way to Play! -
I have set up iTunes Match on only 3 devices (my Windows 7 desktop and 2 iPhones) and am now trying to authorise my new Windows 8 (Toshiba) laptop but I keep failing to authorise the laptop using my one-and-only Apple ID. Does anyone have advice to solve this problem?!
Hi all. I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues. Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem. …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive. Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab. Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
Open the Users folder.
Open your user folder
Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco. The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”. Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear. Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?
Good luck… -
Arch & Windows 8 Dual Boot -- Windows Boot Loader loads grub-rescue
Arch works fine, but as it always happens Windows boot went down. Both OS are EFI.
Note that boot secure and fast boot were disabled for Windows 8.
I used os-prober, but did not fix anything; so, I removed it. I tried to hack things out using boot-repair from Ubuntu, but it requires a repository, grub-efi, from Ubuntu that Arch doesn't have.
I am trying to modify files in grub.d and grub.cfg and hopefully fix something.
Exact description:
- archgrub loads and shows 3 entries. Two for Arch that load the sys succesfully and one for Windows 8 that fails.
- When I try to execute Windows from grub, it brings me to a grub rescue>
and shows error /boot/grub/x86_64-efi/normal.mod not found
As far as I am concerned this .mod is from Linux, so I don't know why it is being called into Windows loading procedures.

Last edited by knowNothing23 (2013-12-30 00:17:02)Hi,
New to this forum, joined today in anticipation of trying an install of AL...For whatever this may be worth:
I have an HP Pavillion desktop that came with Windows 8 (now 8.1), & has, of course, a UEFI boot system. I tried earlier to install Ubuntu Studio (which I currently run) on the same disk as Windows (/dev/sda), I made (I believe) a huge mistake in trying to install as LVM/ext4... wiped out my Windows install & made the UEFI unavailable... I had to do a complete re-install of Windows (fortunately, I did the recommended system backup, using 4 DVD's!) so then I tried a (non LVM) install on an external usb 3.0, with the Grub 2 on the external disk (great access time, & it worked fine... IMO)...
One other item: as I have been trying to find the right flavor of Linux for my main purposes, I have been trying various distros. & having to try to learn to negotiate the UEFI, secure/legacy procedures (still learning)... As I was unsure of installing rEFind... I did down load the .iso, burn it to a CD...
http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/getting.html
& in legacy mode, found that simply putting it (rEFind CD into the CD/DVD player, which in the UEFI it is labeled something like HP/UEFI CD/DVD), & then launching it, rEFind worked for some other distros...that is, I was able to boot into my Linux distros, even bypassing Grub), as well as having the option of booting Windows. It may seem trivial that I say this (it maybe is), but I have not seen anywhere (I have scoured the internet rather well) this mentioned as a possibility (though it, of course, would not make such a good permanent solution, especially for computers like mine that have only one CD/DVD player).

Windows 10 Installation hangs on Windows logo (Not installing on VirtualBox)
I am trying to install Windows 10 parallel with my Windows 7. I downloaded the latest ISO and created the bootable DVD but during the installation its just hanging on Windows logo and it doesn't go further. I have even disabled the UEFI on my machine.
Please someone guide me.

You cannot disable UEFI if your Windows 7 was installed with UEFI. The System Reserved partition is different for UEFI than for legacy BIOS and your Windows 7 system will not boot in the legacy BIOS mode.
Booting from DVD should not give you the Windows logo because it should boot into the DVD setup mode.

Cant get past "Windows Boot Manager"
The following message appeared after restarting my computer (Toshiba Equium A200 1V0) from a window vista update
Windows failed to start. A recent hardwre or software change might be the cause.
To fix the problem.
1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next".
3. Click "Repair your computer"
If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc000014
Info: An error occurred while trying to read the windows boot configuration data
Now my problem is that I cant even change anytthing for my computer to boot from CD - I do not have a windows disc but have the Toshiba product recover disc but nothing at all works. Ive tried pressing F12, F2, F8, DEL .. actually pretty much every key just in hopes it will work.
Anyone else got any ideas on what I can do. Im pretty much resigned to the fact that Im going to lose everything I just need the computer up and running again as soon as I can.
Many thanksUntil one of the experts can give you advice about repairing your Vista system, you might like to try to recover your files. I'm not very computer literate, but managed to achieve this when I "murdered" my Windows 2000 installation. I ASSUME the same process should work with Vista. (Slightly worryingly, Windows passwords don't seem to matter.)
Download a Linux live CD - I found "Puppy" Linux a good one - small download, and easy to use. Burn the resultant .iso file to a CD. Insert the CD in your CD/DVD drive, and start the computer. Let it boot the Linux operating system. (You may need to experiment with BIOS settings to get the computer to boot from CD before its own hard drive.)
You now have a linux operating system running independently of your hard drive. (If it's one of the large Linux programs, it will be slow when run from a CD - not a problem - just requires patience!)
With a bit of luck, the Linux system will see any drives connected to your computer, including your hard drive. (The same as your normal operating system sees a USB stick and can copy files from it, for instance.) You might then be able to browse your hard drive files, and copy them to an external hard drive, or USB flash drive.
I did come across some matter of permissions to write to the external drive - sorry, can't remember the answer off-hand but it was very simple - and only had it once. Again, simply google the problem. There are lots of Linux experts posting threads out there!
This won't enable you to boot your Vista system or anything like that but, if you can get your files copied somewhere safe, then you can simply copy them back once you've reinstalled the offending Vista system.
I'll try to provide a link to an answer I previously suggested here - sorry it's a bit long-winded, but the link in it may be of use, too.
http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=44736&tstart=30
One of those things which is easier to do than to describe, perhaps - lots on the internet about Linux rescue CDs.
I found a lot of useful articles on this google link:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=using+a+linux+live+cd+to+rescue+win dows+files&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
I've never been good at entering search terms; you may well find better stuff.
But the good news is that it might be possible to recover at least some of your data before reinstalling.
If you've not used Linux live CDs before, do a bit of homework first. They're surprisingly easy, especially when you've overcome one or two of the usual initial pitfalls eg trying to burn the live CD as a data rather than an iso CD then wondering why it won't boot. Proabably easier for you to do a bit of googling than for me to write pages here!
Another alternative, if you're better at dismantling computers than me, would be to remove your hard-drive and install it in a suitable external hard-drive enclosure. This can then be connected to another computer via a USB port and you should be able to read your files as if from a USB flash drive, and copy them. I've only tried this with old drives from old desktops with nothing on them that matters too much - but it seemed easy enough. Again, just a way of copying all your stuff before wiping your laptop's hard drive and reinstalling Vista.
Sorry if this was a bit rambling - hope it gives you some ideas. -
I am new to the A64 world (upgraded from an Athlon XP 1600+ last weekend) and I am having strange boot problems. (hangs just as Windows XP begins to load) At first, I thought the problem was BIOS related. (I'm running v1.3) But, after reading here in the forums, I am wondering if perhaps it is a power problem.
Now, I don't consider my configuration all that radical or "stacked" and I am not (currently) attempting to overclock. Therefore, I didn't think my power supply would be a problem. But, the problem isn't terribly consistent and the machine seems to be fine if it ever boots successfully. So, now I am wondering if the demands of drive spin-up and such are pushing things a bit to far.
Currently, I am running a old-ish (2-3 years old) Enermax 350 watt power supply that is rated at only 17 amps on the 12 volt rail. My system consists of:
Athlon 64 3000+
K8N Neo Platinum
1024MB RAM (512MB Crucial DDR x 2; It passes memtest.)
Western Digital WD400BB x 2 (twin 40.0GB, 7200 RPM ATA drives in Raid 0)
DVD-ROM
CD-RW
ATI Radeon 9500 Pro
Can anyone offer any educated opinions on whether my problems are power related or not? Any other possibilities? Does anyone have links to the whitepapers (with power requirements) for the A64 and, perhaps, the ATI card?
Thanks in advance!Quote

I too have the same hang-ups when booting Win XP (Pro) and my PSU is sparkly fresh. When I wait for 10-15 minutes, then windows eventually boots! How strange is that?!
Current forum-strawling indicates that it might have something to with the Neo Platinum board and the IDE / SATA interface, but I'm not sure yet
Have you ever waited to see if it boots eventually?
Try to run a Linux Live CD (like Knoppix) and try to stress your box. I don't experience any probs in Knoppix, only on windows xp boot: right after the splash screen all goes black for 10-15 min...
Anyone else seen threads that discuss the same prob?
[EDIT]
OMG!!
It was my Apacer Internal Multi Memory Reader/Writer USB 2.0 (was there instead off a 3,5" floppy drive ) that was freakin' up my xp boot, djeeeees
[/EDIT}
Damn. I wish I had known about this before I ordered a new PSU; it might have been just the clue I needed. (Plus, I hadn't tried the wait-and-see approach to booting.) It's a good thing I am planning a video card upgrade that would have required the PSU upgrade anyway...
It turns out that my boot problem is related to my (fairly ancient now) Aopen CD-RW drive. After the PSU didn't fix things, I resorted to trying every possible hardware arrangement until I discovered that I could manage to connect absolutely everything, except for the burner.
Once I was done kicking myself (which took awhile), I decided to try swapping IDE channels (HDs were on IDE1 while optical drives where on IDE2). I put the optical drives on IDE1, the HDs on IDE2 and changed the appropriate RAID settings in the BIOS and it booted right up and has every time I have tried since then. In fact, with the exception of (not unexpected) Far Cry-issues, the machine seems to be perfectly stable and has had no problem with stress testing so far. (Memtest86, Prime95, and Sandra)
So, in the long run, I am just very happy that the new computer gremlins finally seem to have left the building.
Thanks to everyone who contributed their thoughts and suggestions! -
well i got this board just last week along with an AMD 64bit 3200+ CPU .. everything is running fine except when i boot
the "platinum" screen shows, then detects my raid card (silicon image sil 0680 ultra-133 medley ata raid) and the one drive attached to it, after that it goes to boot into windows, the "windows XP" logo appears faded (like 20% opacity) then the computer hangs for like 30 seconds (the logo is frozen, as well as the bar) then the logo appears normally and the blue bar starts moving and windows boots up fine ...
anyone have any suggestions? :D
btw im a newbie :p
thanks, levi.
running windows XP SP2I'm there brother - I got the same EXACT problem. But I believe this is related to the BIOS version. From what I've seen, people have fixed this issue by installing the 1.43 BIOS (currently in beta). I'd love to know when they're going to release it officially.
IOW, we gots to wait ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....
