X300 and X301 laptop is DVD-ROM the same?
That is my question. And if they are is it possible to put DVD-ROM from X300 laptop to X301 laptop?

I did some research on Lenovo's website and found these two documents: X300 and X301 system service parts. According to these documents, the optical drive fore both systems is the exact same. So, in theory, you should be able to place one inside the other. However, I have never tried it, nor have I heard of anyone else doing either, so just be aware that it may not work for unknown reasons.

Equivalent PC laptop CD/DVD-ROM for Pismo?
Some months ago I bought a used G3 Pismo laptop. Instead of the original CD/DVD-ROM (Apple P/N 661-2244) it had just a CD-ROM. I would like to get a DVD capability, however, looking on the internet at web stores the price is over $100-$130. It's not cost effective the spend that much on an older laptop. Also, there don't appear to be many used ones available.
Is there any equivalent PC laptop CD/DVD-ROM that will work in the Pismo? If there is, it's quite likely that it will be less than $100. Or is there another model used in a G3 or G4 laptop that will work in a Pismo?

I installed PE13 and cannot burn blu-ray DVDs. I was able to burn 3 blu-ray DVDs using PE12. When I select DVD from the menu it recogniazes that it is not a stadard DVD as I get an 'incorrect media' error message. It will burn standard DVDs of the same video using standard DVD mefia.
What is going on here?
When I loaded PE 12 back on the computer I cannot load a file created with PE13. Looks like a format change? Can I convert file back to PE12?Juergen

Look to Burn To: in the Burn Dialog, and scroll down there to the option that you want.
Please let me know if this ISO Image choice is going to work for you. But I will keeping searching for the answer to these no media present situations.

I bought 3 films and none of them had subtitles or alternative languages: why? I paid full price (like a dvd) without the same options. Why should I pay the same price? What I want is to change languages or to have subtitles (Kung Fu Panda2 and Rise of the Planet of the Apes and SpongeBob).

Best RegardsYou can't change languages in any of the movies offered in the store. Some movies have subtitles but it is in the same language as the movie.
Depending on what country you are in, you may get movies in that countries native language. -
Im canadian and recently bought THG dvd in the us, but when i went to download the digital copy into my iTunes is would't let me. Is there any way to download it?
Probably something to do with Apple/iTunes cross border copyright !
Only thing I think you can do is to try and appeal to Apple's better nature and explain what has happened, I would not hold your breath though.

FaceTime not working on my ipad. Also iPlayer on the ipad tells me insufficient bandwidth and so I presume it is the same problem. However, iPlayer is working well on my Apple laptop and desktop. Any suggestions.
From what I read, this issue is affecting mostly users with iOS 6 installed on their devices. If you are able, upgrade to iOS 7. My mom called me yesterday with the same issue, upgraded, then it worked fine for her.
If you are not able to upgrade, you'll probably have to wait for Apple to fix whatever is affecting iOS 6. -
I installed Lion on my Mac Pro laptop. Regarding Time Capsul - I get a messaage as follows: couldn't complete backup due to a network problem. Make sure your computer and back up disk are on the same network and that the backup disk is turned on. Then try again to back up. I have time capsul turned on. bill
I have exactly same problem with my MBP and MBA, after upgrading to Lion. I've tried to fix this issue while cheking key chain issues and network setup, even formating hdd and time capsule firmware upgrade (ver. 7.6.1.). Nothing can help. It is very annoying.

I've had the iPod for a few months and it worked great. For some reason it went into recovery mode but I have no clue. I've always used the laptop I have with the same wifi. As soon as I plugged by ipod into the computer to recharge the battery it went into recovery mode.

I recently upgraded my laptop to one from the same vendor so all I had to do was to upgrade a few drivers on the hard drive. Unfortunately my copy of ADE is not so cooperative. Every time I try to download an e-book I get the message "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12". Uninstalling ADE (all three versions) along with cleaning the registry does not clear the error. And I cannot de-authorize and reauthorize my new laptop as the de-authorize option is greyed out. Anyone else encounter this issue?

Can I have both Lightroom 3 and Lightroom 5 both installed on the same computer? I like the "fill light" feature in 3 and use it a lot. I would have not gotten 5 except that the images from my new Canon 5D Mk III are not re4cognized on 3. I have 5 on a laptop and 3 on my desktop but would like to have both on my desktop .
Yes you can do this, but you can also get rid of Lightroom 3 and use the "Fill Light" command in Lightroom 5. You need to set the Process Version to 2010 (default is 2012 in Lightroom 5). Use the menu command Settings > Process > 2010
But honestly, you would be wise to stop using "Fill Light", as the new sliders in Lightroom 5 produce superior image quality than anything you can come up with using "Fill Light". Yes, the new sliders take a little time to get used to, but your patience and effort learning the new sliders will be rewarded. You can find some tutorials and videos on using Process Version 2012 on that Internet thing. -

In the Realtek software under " Realtek HD audio input" I have mic and stereo mix both.... but I can only select one at a time.....

On a different note.... a friend of mine whose using one non-Toshiba laptop with win XP has an older version of the Realtek audio driver and can select both mic and stereo mix at the same time... I downloaded that version into my laptop but I still can only select one at a time....Check the audio settings in Windows and dont forget in Realtek HD audio manager. You can find it in control panel.
I think your microphone is set to mute so check this. -

What country are you in ? Depending upon what country that you are in then you might be able to redownload them on your Mac's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the iTunes store homepage
If you're not in a country where TV programmes can be redownloaded then connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and use the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over from your iPad
