X6 full screen handwriting for Chinese language do...

I bought Nokia X6 in Hong Kong 2 months ago, at that time I can use full screen handwriting for Chinese language. But after updating the SW I'm no longer able to use Chinese handwriting input.
Help me please to offer me some advices on how to solve this problem, thanks in advance.

I think you need to find a Chinese font that works when you install it into your operating system... not all fonts are created equal, and not all fonts work... I don't use Chinese, so can only suggest using Google to search for a font that works with your Mac

Trackpad Handwriting for Chinese language won't stay selected

When I upgraded to OS X Lion, the trackpad handwriting option does not activate at all so I can't write in chinese and when I leave the language and text settings, it deselects it right away. Is it just a bug?

When someone clicks on something I make a note of the rowID and store that globally. I also set the clicked row to have the correct color and have added an id to all the rows which includes their rowID so I can easily do a document.getElementByID to find the row that should be selected.
Now I have added an onPostLoad to the notification which finds the correct row by the id I have set and then sets the color. If I put in an alert directly after I can see that this has worked.
The problem is that spry then overwrites the background colour with the spry:odd and spry:even colours.
So... what I need to know now, is how I can do something to the row directly after spry has finished setting colours.

This is for Ebook conversion purpose, Currently am doing the text accuracy for English(EN) and Latin(EU) books using Acrobat 11 Pro application with Source and Converted PDF(final output of epub/mobi).
Similarly am trying to find the text accuracy for Chinese language books using PDF compare process, When i attempt, could see the compare report in PDF format for CN books, but i cannot catch the any text errors in it. Please advise and help me out whether i need to go for different version of acrobat or do i need to add any plug-ins with respect to language or chinese fonts here.

Could any one please advise me on my question, so that it will be helpful to purchase the correct application before i go forward.

Here is how to enable full screen mode for AIR Mac Desktop Apps

I just discovered that with a very simple native extension method, I can enable full screen mode for AIR Mac Desktop Applications.
This gets you the full screen icon in the top right, and it works perfectly with no changes to my code. (Obviously only works on Lion and above, since this is a Lion feature)

Full screen picture for contacts

I have recently upgrade to the iphone 5. I use MS Exchange to sync contacts and email. I want to have full screen picture for caller ID but it only gives me a thumbnail. Any suggestions to get full screen picture for caller ID?

It used to be that if you assigned the picture while on the phone, it was full screen. I remember reading around iOS 5 I believe that it only allowed for full screen, but I still have a couple that are only thumbnails that have been synced over from contacts in LinkedIn. Try assigning the picture from the phone itself and see if that changes it.

I have never heard of any Linux OS geographical limitations. How did you determine that the installation using Chinese was not able to connect to the Internet. Did you properly configure DNS? Any chance of a typing mistake in the previous configuration, or perhaps temporary networking problems from you provider or network side?

Any ideas for smooth scrolling of full-screen panels for iPad?

I'm working on an app that is basically just a grid of full screen panels that the user can go through by swiping left, right, up, down. I want it to lock to a singled direction once a user starts swiping so I've got it set to only start scrolling in a direction when the swipe direction has been moved by a few percent - i.e. if delta (x or y) > 5% and delta x > delta y then scroll in the x direction. I'm using a method that detects 'fast swipes' to switch between panels but can also use 'slow swipes' where if the panel is moved more than 50% of the screen then it switches.
To do all this, I'm using MouseEvents - up, down, enter frame etc and TweenLite. It just isn't working right at the moment - seems to work fine when testing on a computer but on my iPad it's just not working right. The locking doesn't seem to work quite right and it's jumpy. It is an iPad 3 so it's a retina display iPad with the weakest CPU/GPU but I want to make it work fine across all iPads so catering for the weakest setup would be best. I'm running my app at 60 fps and the stage is set to 1024x768 with images that are quite high resolution (more than retina). Would 30 fps make a better choice? Should I resize my imagery so that it fits 2048x1536 exactly or is the Flash Builder clever enough to do that on the fly? (I had assumed that it would be best to let it do its thing so that when I try porting this app to iPhones and other tablets, it would be easier).
Is there anything 'out there' already that does what I'm trying to do already? I'd like to get my solution to work but if I'm just reinventing the wheel and there are existing code solutions that do exactly this then I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction!

If you are using a stage size of 1024x768 then you should use images of that size - that will make things faster as AIR won't have to scale the bitmap itself and images will take up less memory.
If you are targeting retina screens then you could consider setting the stage to 2048x1536 - upscaling from 1024x768 works ok but depending on what you are displaying users on retina might notice a slight blur.
If you are just using sprites then performance will be poor - AIR has to do a lot of visible area calculation on sprites which really slows it down on iPad. If you haven't already then I would suggest looking at either starling/feathers or doing your own blitting via bitmapData.draw. Probably Starling will be best - it is quite easy to get up and running and the difference in performance can be significant (things suddenly start working like you want them to!). There might even be something in Feathers (which is a UI component library built on Starling) that does what you want already (I don't use it so can't comment). I am using Starling for an iPad app at the moment that involves shifting whole screens around and performance is fine with very little coding effort from iPad1 up.

Need to use iSight as full-screen 'webcam' for play - Quickly!

We're doing a production on Internet safety for children, and we need an actor to be shown on large monitors, speaking and interacting with the cast in real time. Is there any way of using the iSight camera for this? iChat needs an account (and shows the OTHER person!) iMovie shows all the clips areas while the camera is on. We need, basically to have just the actor's face showing, so the MacBook is working as a camera. Oh - photobooth also doesn't show full screen till after the camera is off.
Any ideas from you illustrious folk?

No full screen option for streaming video podcasts??

Why does Apple have to make things so difficult at times for something that should be so obvious and straightforward? Anyone know how to view streaming video podcasts in full screen?

Turning off the TV safe area is to prevent parts of the images from being lost, which is not the issue here. The problem I'm having is that there there are black bars around the entire displayed image. I believe this is called windowboxing. Letterboxing has black bars at top and bottom of screen, pillarboxing has the black bars at the left and right of screen. It's all to do with the ratio of the photographs.
My photos were all taken with a digital camera and are 4:3 ratio. I want the images to display FULL SCREEN. They are not doing this - not on a TV monitor - and not on a computer monitor!!! Is windowboxing hard-wired into the iDVD themes? This can't be right. PLEASE HELP!!!

How do I make full screen button for interactive PDF

I know in Acrobat I can set the PDF to open in full screen mode. I want the PDF to open in normal view. There will be a full screen button. Click once and the PDF expands to full screen. Click again and the PDF reverts to normal size.
I wasn't sure where to post this but figured this is the place to start. Any advice on how to do this appreciated.

The client (a woman's club) indicated that about half the women found the full screen annoying and the other half found normal view annoying. So I made it an option. Also, most PDFs I receive such as ID magazine have the option to view normal or full.
One thing I haven't figured out is how to get the page you're on to be highlighted. So if you go to page 5 in PDF, I would want the button for 5 to be highlighted in red. I ended up using page numbers but would like to be a bit more streamlined.
I received a PDF the other day and at the top when the page numbers and left/right arrows are, the page numbers read
FC, IFC, 1, 2, etc.,
IBC, BC. I thought that was pretty cool. I imagine it has something to do with pagination in ID. Have to see if I can figure that out.

Full Screen Mode for Safari - Questions

Hi everyone.
1) When I hit Alt-Tab in Lion to go back to Safari from another desktop and program, and have several full screen Safari windows open, it sends me to a random one. Is there any way to change that? Or should I just train myself to use gestures from now on to sort through my screen lineup?
2) When I restart my MacBook Pro with my lineup of full screen Safari windows open, it pulls them all back up but, unfortunately, puts them in some sort of random order. Is there any way to save the order of the lineup in the Mission Control at the top? I like my stuff to be set up in a certain way.
Any answers are very welcome, and thank you in advance for your kind help.
