X6+Nokia Music store + headphones - bad music qual...

First, I´m sorry for my bad English language skills
I have Nokia X6 comes with music.
If I download music by nokia music store,  the quality is really bad when I listen to songs with headphones??? I have Nokia WH-701 stereo headphones.
When I listen by phone speakers quality is OK... What is wrong?

I have the headphones and the quality by far better than the internal speakers.
When you plug your headphones in does it come up with a menu - so if make sure you select the headphones option.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:

  • Cannot get past screen 2 of 2 for iTunes Music Store purchase of music

I can't get help from Apple or ITunes or anyone - They sent me here.
I have tried to buy music at the ITunes store since Dec 20- No luck here's the story (email to iTunes were of NO HELP!! - Canned responses are useless)
    1. Entered credit card information - screen returns and at the top in black lettering is says "If your address is not in the United States" Click here.
I am in the United States.
    2. I called my credit card company and they indicated all my information I entered was correct. In fact they could see my attempts and they sent to Apple (I Tunes Store) authorizations three times within 3 minutes ($1). The times this was done - was everytime I clicked "done" on the Step 2 of 2 page.
    3. I can't get a response from the ITunes store to allow me to buy music. I have purchased lots of stuff from the Apple store without any problems.(responses received, products received and confirmation of orders received)
    4. Why can't I get past screen 2 of 2 - over five emails to the iTunes store were nonsense answers with no help. This is my last resort before I start returning all my iPOD equipment purchased within the last 30 days.

I'm sorry I can't think of much - maybe try a different card or different name or just some different details?

  • OVI Music and Nokia Music store login issues

    Hi,
Yesterday Nokia rebranded Nokia Music store to OVI Music in India. Earlier I had Nokia Music Store account as OVI login was not supported in Nokia Music store.
So my Nokia Music account and OVI login were different.
Now when login to music.ovi.com and select India as country , I am asked to login.
I can login with my OVI id but then dont see remaining tracks and download history.
I login with my older Nokia Music account and I can see remaining tracks and History.
Some of my friends report that in their case , their Nokia Music and OVI account are merged and tracks and history details are still there. But this has not happened in my case.
Please let me know when Nokia will be able to merge 2 accounts for me. or is there any way I can do it myself? I know that similar thing happened for OVI share and Sports Tracker accounts but they were eventually merged with single OVI account.
    Best Regards,
    Suyog

I have replied this in other thread too-
"Me too having same issue, i got an email from nokia music that our older usernames have been changed with OVI at the end of old username and password remaining the same. As soon as you receive this email u can see your download history of earlier . and i tried to login by my friends account too by putting OVI at the end of username, the balance of tracks was there but download history is not there. So i think we all have to wait for that email to come from nokia music care to confirm about our account being updated with download history."

  • _Unable to connect to the Music Store

After upgrading to iTunes 6.0 I can not access the Music Store. The error message I receive is: "iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. The Music Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
I have taken the following actions in my attempt to resolve the issue:
    - Installed the latest iTunes version 6.0.4.2
    - Made sure that all windows updates have been applied.
    - Checked proxy settings (I do not use a proxy server)
    - Verified that an allow rule was configured in Windows Firewall
    - Disabled Windows Firwall
    - Disabled my AntiVirus software
    - Uninstalled then Reinstalled iTunes 6.0.4.2
    - Completely reset TCP/IP winsock settings on my laptop
    Other information:
    - My internet connection has not changed.
    - I was able to connect to the Music Store for at least 1 year before this issue.
    - I am having no other issues with iTunes besides not being able to connect.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm another experiencing the same problem. Problems have only appeared recently in last week or two and more since upgrading to the latest itunes version. Have been using the store without problems prior to this and have not made any changes to hardware or system other than auto updates.
I have emialed Itunes support who responded promptly but with the usual advice and information on system requirements and fixes but nothing has worked. It can take 5 minutes plus to access or gives up with a failure message. Surfing the web and other dwonloads are trouble free. I have since wrtten again and they assure me they are looking into the matter. The only thing I have not yet tried is contacting MS or my ISP. It's a complete mystery and frustrating. Will post any further information.

  • Requests for Music NOT available in iTunes Music Store

    Hello,
I was wondering when, if ever, will there be a place within iTunes Music Store to request music by an artist you already have but not their complete catalog. For example, you mention under Frank Sinatra's bio his Reprise years yet have nothing from his Reprise Years even though you still acknowledge that Sinatra Reprise was one of his best selling compilations.
Also certain artists show up under compilations but not themselves. Example - Tim Miner. So my question is - is there a way to request an album or an artist and be alerted as to when they or the specific album has been added?
    Thank you

I was wondering when, if ever, will there be a place within iTunes Music Store to request music by an artist...
    Its always been there!
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
Its near the bottom of the main Apple iPod + iTunes page. (it has an icon of a pencil next to it)
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/
You can also, from the iTunes menu bar, go iTunes>provide iTunes feedback. That will take you to the music request page.
    Hope this helps.

  • "Unable to connect to the Music Store" message

When I am trying to connect to the music store to buy music or play downloaded music, it will not allow me to connect. It suggests that my network connection is down, but I am able to get on the internet without any problems. What can I do to in order to access the music store?

For what it's worth, I too have had no joy with iTunes windows, have tried all the recommended fixes I can find here and elsewhere. The problems started for me after their lastest spasm of releases. The behaviour is weird to say the least. On my desktop at home, iTunes does not access the MS on one account, but log out and login to another, and all is fine. XP laptop on the same network at home will not access the MS either. At work, iTunes works great early in the morning (7:00 AM PST), but again won't access the MS in the afternoon. I am beginning to wonder if the problems are on their end with this time issue. Also, I noticed that the MAC people on the otherside of this board are reporting some similar problems.
One thing to note (for me at least): When iTunes does the infinite Accessing Music Store bit, if you just close it, it will not play nicely, and still run in the background chewing up 100% of the CPU. Do an Alt-Ctl-Del sequence to get to the task list and then right click on the iTunes process and select End Process Tree to kill it off.
Wish they would make iTunes a WEB app and dump its Explorer ties. I think many of its issues arise from that.

  • Music Store X's out everytime I click it!

I will be connected to the internet and then iTunes works fine but then I will click music store to download music and then It starts to load and then X's iTunes out completely and does that repeatedly so i can't buy music.
    Please help!

Problems connecting to the iTunes Store often stem from issues with the Windows firewall or a firewall in a router, a privacy filter (such as McAfee Internet Privacy Service or Norton Internet Security), an antivirus/antispyware utility, or a download accelerator. Start here:
iTunes for Windows: Overview of Music Store Errors
for some basic tips to start isolating the cause of the problem. What you need to do is temporarily disable any such service and see if that fixes the problem. If so, then if it's a firewall/Internet filter that's causing the problem and you'll need to set the offending service to allow iTunes to connect to the iTunes Store.
    Hope this helps.

  • Music Store Connects Early AM, Freezes Later w/ 100% CPU Usage

    Hi,
I connect to the internet using Hughesnet satellite (formerly Direcway). An important aspect of satellite, for any would-be troubleshooters of my problem, is that there is a time-lag from request to response of up to 1000ms (which is different than the <100ms response time of dsl or cable). Actual download speeds, however, are comparable.
Here's my problem. When I load iTunes and go to the Music Store, the main music store page loads fine. In the early AM (when I assume traffic on both the satellite AND Music Store is less), when I click on a "genre" (in this case, TVShows), it goes to the TV Shows page and I can buy another episode of "24".
But later in the day, after say 10 or 11AM EDT, when I click on a genre, it shows "Accessing Music Store" at the top and the horizontal 'barber shop pole' bar just turns and turns, without switching to the access progress bar. This can go on for quite a while (I've let it run for at least 15 minutes) and the only way to stop it is to end the iTunes process in Windows Task Manager. Also, if I go in to Windows Task Manager when iTunes is trying to access the Music Store, the iTunes CPU usage is a steady 99-100%.
I'm running iTunes 6.0.4.2, which is, I believe, the latest. I'm running AVG Antivirus and Kerio Personal Firewall, and have tried a couple of times with both of these off. Same result. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes.
    I found this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=473475
which seems to discuss a similar problem (Ok connecting in morning, nothing later in day) that turned out to be related to a specific ISP in the UK.
In the case of Hughesnet (or any satellite), this may be a combination of iTunes/Music Store possibly needing some quick handshake as part of a security protocol, and a satellite connection getting a little too slow to execute the handshake as traffic picks up. I don't know, just a thought.
But I DON'T think its on my computer - firewall, anti-virus or spyware - since it will connect during real low traffic houses (e.g. 7AM).
Any suggestions anyone can make would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

I'm running LR with no speed issues on an Intel 17-860 quad core with about the same performance as your AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Processor. My system is also an HP, which originally had a single 1TB 7200 HDD. I've since added a second 2TB Black Caviar HDD, which provided no significant difference in LR's performance.
AMD processors do not implement hyper-threading and don't need it. I'd start debug by process of elimination:
    1) Disconnect all externally attached USB, FireWire, or other externally connected devices except keyboard, mouse, and your single 1280 x1024 display. This includes all externally attached memory card readers, phones, ipads, etc.
    2) Reboot and logon as Administrator.
    3) Remove your Internet connection and turn off all Antivirus and firewall programs.
    4) Open LR and under Catalog Settings set 'Standard Preview Size' to 1440 (slightly larger than your display width). Under the Metadata tab here make sure 'Automatically Write changes into XMP is NOT checked.
    4) Create a 'New Catalog,' Create a new folder and add about 10 raw image file copies to it for testing, and Import it into the new catalog. In the Import module make sure under File Handling 'Render Previews' has 1:1 selected. Wait until all Preview building has completed in the Library module.
Try editing these image files inside the new catalog as you were previously.

  • Extremely slow connection to Music Store and Streams

There have been multiple threads detailing troubles people have been having both with the iTunes Music Store and streaming music via iTunes. Extremely sluggish performance has been reported for weeks now.
Over the past 3 weeks I've found that a search on the Music Store can take 30 seconds or more. Downloading a song can take minutes. Browsing is extremely sluggish. Sampling songs results in repeated rebuffering ("Network Stalled/Rebuffering Stream" messages), even if one sets the Streaming Buffer Size to "Large". I've tried reverting to 6.0.4 and shutting off the Firewall and Personal File Sharing, none of which had any effect.
I experience the same sluggishness both at work, via a high speed office LAN/T3 connection, and at home, via a basic DSL setup. The friends and associates I've surveyed are experiencing the same sluggishness. No proxy servers are used at either location.
I don't know about others, but I've found this sluggishness makes the iTunes Music Store completely unusable. It would be helpful if Apple were to give us some kind of indication as to what's going on if it wishes to retain it's dedicated customer base. If it persists, there are alternatives. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onlinemusic_store#Online_Music_Store_Comparisontable)
    iMac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   iTunes 6.0.5 (20)

Yes it is sluggish at times but far from unusable. Why not select the "Loads ....before playing" option in iTunes prefs>Store to get over the rebuffering problem. I think it is slow due to the popularity and high volumn use that the iTMS gets. Try a different time of day. I use it late at night (USA time) and don't have all the problems that you are experiencing.
Why not contact iTMS customer service directly as Apple does not currently pay much attention to the forums. The reponses here are from fellow forum users and not from Apple employees.
By all means if you are dissatisfied with the iTMS then vote with your pocket book and go else where. Last time I checked it was still a free market place.

  • Turn Off Music Store

How do I stop iTunes from trying to access the Music Store?
When I turned it on, it said I could turn it back off, but cannot find how.
    Aggravating Internet network problem...
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Thanks. I can't find that.
I did find this, though. I don't think it is the exactly right way to do it, but at first blush it seems to have worked:
'Disabling Podcasts, Radio, Music Store, or Shared Music
If you have administrator access to your computer, you can disable access to Podcasts, Radio, Music Store, or Shared Music in the Source list using the Parental Control pane of iTunes Preferences.
You can also use the Parental pane to hide these items in the Source list and not require a password to see them again.
    1.
Choose iTunes > Preferences and click the Parental button.
    2.
If necessary, click the lock and type your administrator password.
    3.
Select an item to disable it. For example, if you select Disable Podcasts, the Podcasts item won't appear in the Source list.
    4.
If you want to require a user to enter an administrator password to reenable the items you disabled (or make any other changes in the Parental Control pane) click the lock.
Note: You must be using Mac OS X v10.3 or later to be able to password-protect disabling these items. If you're using Mac OS X v10.2.8, you can hide the items, but a password is not needed to show them again.
You can also use the Parental pane of iTunes Preferences to restrict access to explicit content in the iTunes Music Store.
If you disable podcasts, you won't be able to subscribe to podcasts in the iTunes Music Store.
Make sure you protect your password. Anyone who knows an administrator password for your computer can change parental control settings.'

  • How long is the Music Store going to be down?

I've been using the iTunes music store for a couple years and now, just before I'm about to deploy and need to get a bunch of music, it shuts down. I haven't been able to get anything for 2-3 weeks.
I click on it and I get "iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. The Music Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Is anyone else receiving that message?
I turned off both Windows (I run XP) and McAffee Firewalls, but had no effect. Neither did reinstalling iTunes. Currently on a LAN and have never had any issues with iTunes before.

I also tried checking for updates, but iTunes said the iTunes update server could not be contacted.

  • Error (-3237) when acessing Music store on new computer

I just got a new computer so I had to download iTunes on my new computer and When I sign in to access the music store the accessing music store window comes up but after a while the Error window comes up saying iTunes could not connect to the Music store. An unknown error occurred
    (-3237).
    HELP!!
    Thank you!

    Similar problems here.
Brand new laptop. I can open iTunes or QuickTime independantly without problems. However, when I click on a movie trailer from within QuickTime I get the 3237 error when iTunes launches.
After I click for desired trailer an IE window pops up:
    "One Moment Please.
Connecting to the iTunes Music Store.
    Loading
We are unable to find iTunes on your computer.
(the above line is not visible until I cut and paste)
If iTunes doesn't open, click the iTunes application icon in your Dock or Windows Task Bar."
Windows then pops up a message that says:
"The web page you are viewing is tring to close the window.
Do you want to close the window?"
In the meantme, iTune has opened but popped up an error:
"iTunes could not connect to the Music Store.
    An unknown error occurred (-3237).
Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
Now when I choose to close the IE window, and clear the Itunes error window, iTunes connects to the Music Store successfully.
It's still annoying to clear the error every time though. Any ideas?

  • How to change country of Nokia Music store

How can I change the country of the Nokia Music store? Currently on my Lumia 920 it shows up as US even though all country settings are set to Switzerland (both LiveID and Nokia Account). The Windows store is set to Switzerland but I can't find a way to change the Nokia Music store. This prevents me from using the store and from upgrading to Nokia Music+
    Any ideas?

    Hi helvetos,
Glad to know you have tried the alternative fix and it is working for you. One of the customers reported to have fix the issue through this steps:
    1. Remove Facebook-Nokia connection ("log in with facebook" feature)
    2. Delete Nokia account from phone
    3. Delete Nokia account from account.nokia.com
    4. Create a new Nokia account by using the "log in with facebook" feature
    5. Set up new Nokia account on the phone
*Upon checking with the relevant team, it has something to do with the Facebook connection feature on the phone. Let's see if this will work for the others.
