X6 using GPS, phone switches off please help
go to use maps and the phone just goes blank. any ideas? have reinstalled maps, firmware , wioed it clean and still nothing . really have had it wth this phone (3rd one ive had in a few months) nothing but trouble. full of dust, and just now really fed up with this paperweight. but any ideas on this map problem?
A faulty battery could act in exactly that way, yet still be the cause of the situation. Faulty is faulty, which means results are unpredictable. But, if you don't want to even try to diagnose that for sure, we can move on...and hopefully it truly is not causal...
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.

The only way to locate any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.

my phone(4s) switches off automatically at 20% and doesnt start till i cahrge it,and once i put it on charge it shows batterl level 28%,earlier my battery wud drain till 1% then it used to switch off please help
These are usually the features of a faulty battery. Restore iPhone Firmware with iTunes 10.7 or 11 on computer. See if better. If not, and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution. If no Coverage, still make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple Store for free quick (minutes time) battery diagnostic testing.

I accidently disconnected to cord in the middle of updating software on my iphone4. it now has apple logo and blank loading line below. it will not do anything else. can't even switch off please help
Connect the iPhone to the compter you usually sync with
and use iTunes on that computer to do the restore. -
the new 8.2 update has left me with a red itunes logo and a charger end on the screen, i cannot use the phone at all, please help
Your phone is in recovery mode; connect it to a computer and use iTunes to restore it.

It appears that you may not have a properly installed OS X system.
You must be connected to the Internet to reinstall OS X.

Experia X - phone switches off even after charges 100%
I have an experia Z and even after charging the battery to 100% the phone switches off after I remove the charger. I have to keep the phone continuously on charging to ensure that it remains on. Is it a battery or a software issue?I have android software version 5.0.2 and phone model no is C6602.Please help...
I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

my iphone 4 stopped working suddenly....it wouldnt charge or anything...i was told to push the on button and the home button at the same time and it came back on.
is this a fault with the iphone????
i cant have my phone switching off randomly...any help please...thankyou.sometimes it happens, a hard reset will sometimes solve the issue.
If the issue starts happening more often, I would consider restoring the device to factory settings to install clean software. If the issue still persists after that, the device might need a hardware repair.

5530 XM - Phone SWITCHES OFF during calls
Hey all,
Got a couple of problems with my 5530 XM so any advice/suggestions, please let me know!
1) Phone SWITCHES OFF when I: press the green button to receive the call/ make a call
-I noticed that it switches off when I place it near my ear, and not really when I use the speakerphone (are the sensors the problem?)
2) When I minimize my music player (when playing music) there used to be a controller (to choose play, next etc.) on the background of my home screen. ITS NOT THERE ANYMORE!
Would greatlly appreciate anyone's expertise on these (I think common) issues.

-Bixhello man .. i had the same proplem as ur N.1 ..... then i was told by nokia technician that it is a bug or virusus proplem, and all what he did to fix it was to make a hard format for phone and memory so that there would be no bugs or viruses , since then it's all ok with me ..... but i wanna advise u and tell u not to download anything to the phone ,, only make nokia updates .. cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers ..

My two months old IPhone5(AT n T) not receiving calls ( quite a few times - Till now it happened around 15-16 times) even though signals are good,Because sometimes people are calling my landline and asking me that Is your phone switched off ? Infact network also good at that time.Not sure about the problem.
I contacted AT n T also and explained about the problem, They suggested to monitor few more days...whether it is real network issue or not. But I am very sure it is NOT network issue because one day I was waiting for my brother at my office open parking space, And i called my brother whether he is ready at his place so that i can go and pick him, but he told it takes sometime...and he told, he will call in 15 mins, So i was at the same location (NOT even moved 1 inch also ), just sitting and listening music and after 30 mins, I called him back and asked Still not ready, then he replied he was trying me from last 15 mins and it is going to voice mail , I got similar complaint from others as well. Today also my cousin called my landline and asked Is your phone switched off ? because i was trying to reach you but it is going to voice message, I saw the signals at that time, Signal strength is very good. I think there is some problem in Iphone5 may be LTE or something.
Taking phone to next levels is good, But it should NOT hamper it's basic phone functionality ( Make calls, receiving calls, Voice mail etc ). Please let me know if any fix for this.You say it started on yours after upgrading to iOS 8. I've been on iOS 8.0 for quite some time and only recently did this issue spring up.
The one thing I haven't tried is downgrading it back to iOS 7 (which would be a shame, but if it's the only answer...)
I'll get back to you once I've tried that.
