X60s Unable to power from AC

My X60s decided yesterday to stop taking power from the AC adapter. I am running off of battery power at the moment. I did all of the power troubleshooting steps (removing the battery + trying the adapter; removing components such as memory and hard drive one-by-one, reassembling and powering up; swapped memory; tried 3 different adapters; trying a DIFFERENT battery + adapter) and I have had absolutely no luck.
Can anyone help me out here? I hate to think that I need to send my laptop in for service. I don't have the time for those shenanigans.

I was able to locate the same exact X60s for sale in my area... used, for $600USD.
Since I was so desperate, I bought it, swapped the old drive into the newly purchased used-X60s and voila... I'm up and running with no problems. I can go on vacation with some peace of mind now.
I'll continue to troubleshoot the other unit, probably get it serviced, and then just sell it.

If so (and I hope you do) you can now restore the iPhone and put this backup on it.

Then put the battery again and try again
Im not quite sure about the options of Camileo S20 but my camcorder supports an PC option. Please be aware that the camcorder is not in PC mode if you want to enable this

HT4061 iphone 4 crashed, unable to power on?

My phone was on. Then suddenly, it started vibrating, black screen. Unable to stop the vibrating which after 2 minutes stopped on its own.
Now the phone is not charging and I'm unable to power it.

I would be concerned too if my iPhone was not powering on. I found an article with steps you can take when you encounter an issue like this. I recommend following the steps below:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

Unable to power down

I have a MacBook Pro, lately it has been really slow and I am unable to power down without using the power button. I am able to logoff just fine, but when I try to power down It just sits there with the little spinning icon. i've left it overnight and nothing. I have erassed the free space, removed everything from my trash. Cleaned up my desktop thinking something would make a difference. Any thoughts out there as to what else I can do?

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
Do the following:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the Combo Updater for the version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/.

Everytime I plug in my android USB, I get a message that states the USB device is drawing too much power from my computer. The only other USB device connected to computer is my printer. Even when I disconnected the printer, I was still unable to use the android. When i use a non-android USB to say charge my phone, it will charge it, but it won't recognize any of my android data. What gives?

I'm going to guess that you are plugging into either the USB port on your keyboard or an unpowered hub. USB has two both low power and high power port specifications that determine how much electricity the port can supply to a device. The ports on back of your iMac are high power, the keyboard ports are low power. If you have an unpowered hub it has to 'share' power with all the devices you plug into so it too would have low power ports.

unable to print from ipad1 or ipad mini. tried all suggestions in support. This problem has been highlighted before is there a a problem with an software upgrade. I have hp 5510 that works fine fromPC.

Mac won't take power from the mains

Hi,
I just bought my MacBook two days back. I'm already finding a few things crashing, but my main headache is that its currently refusing to take power from the mains. I take out the power chord and put it back in... nothing. I've tried restarting - no go. I've changed socket, no difference (the sockets are working fine). I noticed that the MagSafe Power Adaptor was pretty hot when I first spotted this problem. Any ideas?

All I can offer is to keep doing what you're doing that's kept it going up till now - whatever that is? As soon as you've got time take it back.
I find it slightly strange that you're prepared to risk 'some urgent work' using something that's clearly having a problem? However if it's all you have then I suppose you have no choice? If there's enough 'juice' to let you complete whatever it is you need to do and if you've a memory stick or can burn a CD/DVD then I would look at those options once you've done the work.

HELP! I need to be able to remove power from a PXI chassis and replace a card without rebooting the whole system

I do not have particulars on the controller, but I am sure it's an NI chassis
and NI regular controller that has a serial cable leading back to the PC.
I am making this PXI rack into a debug rack for instrument cards,
so I need to be able to remove power from just the PXI chassis
and then replace the card with another one
or the same one and then turn the power back on and restart a
diagnostic test on the card WITHOUT
having to reboot the PC.
Is there a PCIe bridge setup that would allow me to do this?
Is there software that I need that can accomplish this?

Let me re-enumerate my requirements:
Background:
I have a number of NI cards as well as other manufactured cards in the system.
One of these cards in the NI system is considered to be a UUT.
That is, I am using the NI card cage system and other cards in the system to test a CARD
during a manufacturing test of said UUT CARD.
The UUT uses a PLX 9030 for it's PCI interfacing.
This UUT is not designed for hot swap, and I do not bieleve it is plug and play.
Requirement:
1. I need to be able to shut off the chassis and remove the UUT when the test finishes, replace the tested UUT
with a unknown UUT, re-apply power and then test the new UUT WITHOUT having to reboot the PC.
I have tried several things, such as disabling the PCIe busses in the windows control panel, and then removing power
replacing the UUT with the next one, re-applying chassis power and then re-enabling the bus and SOMETIMES it works.
I need a very robust way to do this.
I also bought a CHROMA PXI-52906-E extender card with bus switches on it, so that I can remove power to the UUT
without shutting off the chassis. The card is supposedley designed so that when power is re-applied to the UUT, the necessary
signals to boot the PXI PCI interface is conducted, but I think something else has to be written to the card's PCI registers.
I am by no means an expert in PCI/PXI,
but I seem to have exhausted all of my reserach online in how to meet my requirements.
Perhaps there is a way for the NI8331 controller to capture PCI configuration data to the card's on system boot,
and then "replay it" to my UUT after I re-apply power to the UUT?
Or perhaps PLX makes such a tool?
Any ideas?
