X60s wrong warranty dates

I bought my X60s in Denmark on the 13th of march 2007 with a 3 years warranty.
When I look up my warranty status it says that the machine has a three years warranty, but it also says that the warranty expiration date is 10th of may 2009.
This is wrong because the warranty should run until 13th of march 2010.
How can the date be corrected?

Welcome to the forum!
You should contact Lenovo sales (hopefully you still have your invoice) and get this resolved, it shouldn't be much of a problem IMHO.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
George

All Toshiba products are delivered with a free of charge standard warranty.
Toshiba Laptops, All-in-One PCs, Netbooks and Tablets are covered with at least 1 year European standard warranty, valid from the date of purchase.
You can check all the notebook details like warranty registration date, validity, etc.. on this Toshiba unit details page:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/unitdetails/
Did you register the notebook on the Toshiba EU standard warranty page after the purchase?
Your registration would ensure your coverage starting from the date of purchase of your Toshiba product!
Here you can find more details about such registration: http://www.toshiba.eu/services/standard-warranty/
On the FAQ standard-warranty page you would also find some useful info.
    For example:
*+Q*: When does the coverage begin?+
*+A*: The warranty is valid from the date of purchase.+

  • Refurbished iPod Touch didn't come with warranty, has wrong purchase date

So I bought a refurbished iPod Touch 5G a couple of weeks ago (in September). For some reason the serial number for the iPod shows up as being out of warranty and also states that it was purchased in May. Has anyone else ever had issues with the warranty and purchase date info being mixed up for their refurb? It became an issue for me because the iPod's screen was flickering. I took it to the Apple store, where they could see that the records were incorrect, but could do nothing about it. They replaced the iPod and zeroed out the replacement fee so it didn't cost me anything, but my iPod still officially lacks a warranty and has the wrong purchase date associated with it. I wish I knew who to talk to to get this cleared up.
I should add that I bought my iPod from the online Apple store, so this is all within their system.

    Kappy,
Thanks for you reponse. The serial number for my iPod brought up the following information at the Apple store:
    Warranty Status: Out of Warranty(OW)
    Model: IPOD TOUCH (5TH GENERATION)
    Date of Purchase: 06-May-13
...but I ordered the iPod online on September 21st. They had to bypass their system in order to give me my free replacement. I'm concerned that if I have a problem again in the future I will not get my 1 year of warranty coverage. It seems to me like someone failed to change some information associated with this iPod when they processed my order for the refurbished model.

  • My Apple ID was changed.  Yet when I try to update apps I am asked to enter the password for the old IG which will not work and no matter what I do. When I attempt to update apps it still askes for the wrong ID data.

My Apple ID was changed.  It works fine on my IPad mini, my MAc and in Itunes Store,  Yet when I try to update apps on my IPAD 1 I am asked to enter a password for the old ID user name which appears in the pop up window. When It still askes for the wrong ID data. I have uodated it in settings, and I have logged ontht the account to verify that it still works properly and it does.  I reboot the IPAD and then attempt to update apps again but it still asked for the Old ID password and still shows the old ID username.  The dame thing refuses to recognize my new Apple ID data.  This is making my older IPAD unuseable.

You cannot change your Apple ID. You can get a new one if you want, but all of your Apps and media are linked to yoru old Apple ID. And no, Apple won't transfer your old ID purchases to yoru new ID.

  • New employee with wrong hiring date - how to change?

    Hi,
I've entered a new employee with a wrong hiring date and I don't know how to change it. Some employee date are easily changeable not the hiring date!?

    Hi Marko.
Go to t-code PA30, enter the personnel number of the employee whom you have hired.
At the top in the menu bar, select "UTILITIES" - "Change entry/leaving date".
It will take you to the screen - "Change Actions" - Change " Start date".
This will correct the hiring date of the employee.
    Reward points, if helpful.

2.Go to Txcode iq01 create the serial no,there u have to maintain the warranty periods.

  • Wrong Percent Data In the table

Our customers require us to demonstrate one report involving Year, Quarter,Month, Sales,SalesPercent through the table style. So we encount the issue that we do not know how to show the data in the table. We have one method to solve it,but there it a little problem as below detail information.
In the SalesPercent formula,we write the code "sales/sum(sales by Year,Quarter)" manually and order by YEAR,Quarter. but the YearTotalPercent is incorrect.
    For example
    Year Quarter Month Sales Percent
    2009 2009/Q1 2009/1 300 30%
    2009 2009/Q1 2009/2 300 30%
    2009 2009/Q1 2009/3 400 40%
    --------Total-------------1000 100%
    2009 2009/Q2 2009/4 200 20%
    2009 2009/Q2 2009/5 200 20%
    2009 2009/Q2 2009/6 600 60%
    --------Total-------------1000 100%
    Total---------------------2000 wrong data(excepted data is 100%)
I do not know why it generate the wrong the data.If you know the method for solving the issue or how to implement the requirement in table view, please tell me. Thanks

Yeah,Before I try to use the pivot table, but to some case, it does not display all percent values that some percent columns are empty. So I use the handcode formula in the table view to solve the requirement.
    For example:
    Year Quarter Month Sales Percent
    2009 2009/Q1 2009/1 300 30%
    2009 2009/Q1 2009/2 300 30%
    2009 2009/Q1 2009/3 400 40%
    --------Total-------------1000 100%
    2009 2009/Q2 2009/4 200 (NULL)
    2009 2009/Q2 2009/5 200 (NULL)
    2009 2009/Q2 2009/6 600 (NULL)
    --------Total-------------1000 (NULL)
    Total---------------------2000 100%

  • Blackberry Calendar Sync - Wrong Events Dates

    Hi
I recently wiped my entire calendar on my phone as it was a mess. I composed a new calender with certain re-occuring series events on outlook calendar 2012.
The syncing porcess to my Blackberry Curve 8900 works fine, no issues raised by Desktop manager yet when i look at my phones calendar there are random events that have been placed on wrong dates?!
EG: an event for the 01.10.12 will be showing on the 02.10.12. When i click on this event on my phone and view 'whole series' the date shows for the 01.10.12 to re-occur every few week - so why its on the 02.10.12 i have no idea - Interestingly though when i click on the same event but 'view occurance' it shows the incorrect date of 02.10.12. These events are 'entire dat events'
Outlook is defintely correct and i have not put in this occurance for the 02.10.12 so why is it syncing to my blackberry as wrong occurance date but correct series information? bizzare. Really frustrating.
When i look at future series dates for this incorrect occurance there doesnt seem to be a pattern, the other series are correct. However throughout the year there could be up to 15 diffierent examples of this happening on random dates.
Ive looked at several formums and tech help. Im using OS5 operating system.
Any workaround, fix? Does anyone else experience this issue?
    Thanks
    Adam

    Hi,
I have the same problem. Doesn't seem a big problem for other users, there are very few threads on this.
Have you found any solution yet?

  • IPhoto wrong event date

    Right.
So, I've recently added all my photos into iPhoto - great.
But, the problem is...all my old photos were taken on a camera that didn't set a 'Date picture taken' attribute but does have a 'Date modified' attribute (close enough anyway). But, when I add these into iPhoto - they've all got the wrong event dates. Surely iPhoto, if it couldn't find a 'date picture taken' it would have gone with 'date modified' - like picasa 3 does.
    Any help?
    Cheers,
    Tom

For future reference there's an application, PhotoInfo, that can batch change the EXIF date in photos, either by adding or subtracting a given time differential or by changing the entire date and time entirely. It would be best used on a batch of photos outside of iPhoto before importing. It's great for changing the time when you travel and take photos in a different time zone but didn't resset the camera's clock.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.
