  • Change paper size when printing

How to change paper size when printing pdf? No option for paper size appear.

That is a feature of AirPrint. If you do a Google search on "AirPrint paper size" you'll find documentation from major printer manufacturers. For example, this is copied from some HP documentation:
What paper and media sizes are supported?
With AirPrint, paper and photo media sizes are automatically selected depending on the application you are using on your Apple device, your HP ePrint printer, and the region in which you are using AirPrint. You do not have the option to select different paper sizes.
For example, from Apple’s Photo application, if the HP ePrint printer has a separate photo paper tray, AirPrint uses 4 x 6 inch photo media as the default paper size. If the printer does not have a separate photo paper tray, AirPrint uses letter-size paper. If you are printing from Apple’s Safaribrowser, letter-size paper is the default paper size in the US region, and A4 is the default paper size in Europe.
AirPrint supports the following paper and media sizes:
    Letter
    Legal
    A4
    4 x 6 in photo paper
    A6 photo paper

  • Can't change paper size in Print module

When I click on Page Setting in the Print module I get a pull-down menu that has options for Printer, Presets, Layout, Pages per Sheet, Layout Direction, Border, and Two Sides but there is no option available for changing paper size. This was not a problem before I updated to 1.2. How do I get that option back? Thanks.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest Driver for the Epson R1800.
It has been said that it is best, even if you have a ppc to download the latest IntelMac Driver to install for that printer, for best results.

  • Not very tech Davy, just figured out how to print a pic off phone to wireless printer, how do I change pic size from 8x10

    Can u help

I tell you how. dumb luck. Certainly no thanks to "Apple Care" or maybe we should call them apple "careless." I told them my issue , and what I did to fix it so far. They tell me to delete the ipod photo cache and resync. They kill me.
What kills me even more is * I preface this by stating that I am in no way a racist, and this has nothing to do with race, color, or creed, it has to do with getting good customer service. I, myself, am disabled. I have an artificial pelvis and left leg. I know my limits, you won’t see me trying to get a job where my disability affects the job I was doing. I running any marathons any time soon*
I’d call apple care again, but I’m not fluent in some of the languages the telephone customer service agents speak. Funny, you’d think that apple would try and get customer service people that can be understood over the phone. It’s like hiring a blind guy to drive a school bus. They will get you somewhere, but probably not where you wanted to go. Maybe we should call the Apple HR dept and have them hire some deaf people to field service calls, would be just as smart as hiring someone who was mute, or in Their case someone that can not be understood by an English speaking person. Just my two cents. Feel free to pass it on.

  • Want to change pic sizes in a pdf slideshow...

    Hi,
I've been round & round trying to figure a way to make my 4x6 jpeg images that have been downloaded from my camera smaller in a slideshow. Right now they either appear top to bottom with black on the sides when it's a vertical shot, or completely left to right with black at the top and bottom if horizontal.
I have even reworked the photos and saved them as smaller images in Photoshop CS2 and that doesn't help.
The reason I am holding onto hope is that I received a slideshow that claimed to be made with Photoshop Album Starter Edition 2.0 and the images were smaller, surrounded entirely by the black background, and it was more appealing ( imo : )
Thanks for any help in advance -
    jb

Make the background the same as the slideshow. Increase the canvas size but
leave the image the same... It will appear to shrink..
    Cheers

  • 2 questions - change image size within print cell, and saving print template w/ specific images

    Hi,
Searched the forums for the answer to these but couldn't find much.
    1. Is there a way to change the image size within a cell (under print module). For example, zoom in 140% on a a specific image but still have it within the original cell size?
    2. Say I create and fill in an elaborate print template with my images - is there a way to save the FILLED IN version of the template to edit at a later time? For example if I wanted to load it back up w/ all the original images layed out in the print template, but maybe change a few and resave as jpeg?
    Thank you!

    Hi
I'm not sure but maybe you can use a rectangle to hold the .ai image, resize the rectangle and fit proportionally the image inside it
    hope this help

  • Change the size of printer log

Is it possible to modify the cupsd.conf for the Print service so it'll archive the log either by date or at a smaller fie size? Or is that version 1.3 does not support this as what they did in the older version...? I don't want to wait for months before I can get a log file for billing. Thanks for any insights.

Not what you asked, but just in case--your photo meets all these regs, right?

  • Size of print from eprint

The print is miniscule, how is it controled
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hello johnr11,
The size of ePrint jobs is controlled by either the email client that the job is being sent form, or by the file definitions, if it is an attachment.  The way to change the size that prints out may be to adjust the font size in the email, or in the file you are trying to print.  Another cause of this is if something that is ment to print on legal size is printed on letter size.  You may need to adjust your settings on the ePrintCenter account to match the paper size of the job.

why won't title size won't change in iMovie 10.1

Please check Help >> System Info to find your catalog's location. Close Organizer. Go to this location and within the catalog folder, rename the thumbs.5.cache file to say thumbs.5.cache.old.
Now relaunch Organizer and let the thumbnailing complete. You should get your thumbnails back in no time.

  • Can see different brush size options but it won't let me change the size

When I'm in Flash CC 2014, I go to the tools menu, then the brush size option, and I can see all of the various brush sizes. I am able to click any size, but when I go to draw, it keeps defaulting to the same size over and over. I'm completely unable to change the brush size. Any ideas?

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
In most cases you can adjust the scale of your documents before you print.

  • After creating a pdf can I change the size of the font when uploading in acrobat and what version?

After creating a pdf can I change the size of the font when uploading in acrobat and what version?

What do you mean by "uploading in Acrobat"?
(Note that if you change the size of text, it won't reflow, so you end up with a mess. Answer is, probably not useful)

  • Why do the appearance of my customized control change while changing the size of window?

    Hi,
I want to show the direction of power flow, so I customize an arrow-like slider, the width of the line is set the width as 3, and the height as 80. It can work. However, when I change the size of the window, the line of the slider is changed , and it looks quite ugly. How can I solve this problem.?
    Jessie

First, as you found out, the "scale all object on front panel as the window resizes" doesn't really work very well.
Second, what you're saying is that all your controls won't fit on the screen? What resolution is the screen? Typically manually sizing and placing objects on your front panel is the best way to get everything placed correctly. In addition, I have often found that an inability to fit everything on the screen is an indication that the interface is too busy.
