(x86) Inline assembler syntax errors for 8bit variables
Hello,
I am porting some gcc code to Solaris and have some issues
with the inline assembler. It works reasonably well on most of
my code but with some instructions I have difficulties.
In gcc, when I declare a variable as char/unsigned char and
reference it within an asm-statement the assembler will generate
'half'-register names for it (e.g. %al, %cl, ...).
sunCC generates full registers for these variables and so
certain instructions fail to assemble.
e.g.
char flag;
asm ("setz %0" : "=q"(flag) : :);
Syntax error is given then for:
"setz %eax"
Is there a way to force the use of 8bit registers?
--L
Even worse:
char flag, char* ptr;
asm("xchgb %0, %1" : "=q"(flag),"=m"(*ptr):"0"(1), "m"(*ptr):);
produces
xchgb %edx,(%eax)
on sunCC even when no "-O" flag is given.
But
char flag, char* ptr;
flag = 1;
asm("xchgb %0, %1" : "=q"(flag),"=m"(*ptr):"0"(flag),"m"(*ptr):);
produces
xchgb %dl,(%eax)
on sunCC if no "-O" flag is given.
Strange behaviour indeed... :/

I work with smarty a lot, and I mean a lot. Every single day in fact, all day long. Is there a way to turn off the syntax errors for my smarty code? Basically every file I open is going to tell me there are syntax errors all over the page...
Thanks!I am not familiar with smarty but the options for disabling syntax errors can be found under the view menu,
View > Code View Options > Syntax Error Alerts in Info Bar (tick or untick)

MS SQL - Syntax error for valid query
I have a problem with the second query in this code (gives me
a syntax error in my HAVING line)
<cfquery name="getDupes" datasource="#application.ODBC1#"
dbtype="ODBC" username="#application.userNameODBC1#"
password="#application.userPassODBC1#">
SELECT *
FROM view_FormCount
WHERE formCount >= 2
ORDER BY formNum
</cfquery>
<cfset variables.lstForms = "">
<cfoutput query="getDupes">
<cfset variables.lstForms=
listAppend(variables.lstForms,"'#getDupes.formNum#'")>
</cfoutput>
<cfset variables.whereClause = "(formNum =
#ReplaceNoCase(variables.lstForms,',',' OR formNum =
','ALL')#)">
<cfquery name="getDetails"
datasource="#application.ODBC1#" dbtype="ODBC"
username="#application.userNameODBC1#"
password="#application.userPassODBC1#">
SELECT tblForms.formNum, tblForms.formName,
tblForms.formCustNum, tblCompanies.companyAbbr
FROM tblForms INNER JOIN tblCompanies ON tblForms.formCustNum
= tblCompanies.companyNum
GROUP BY tblForms.formNum, tblForms.formName,
tblForms.formCustNum, tblCompanies.companyAbbr
HAVING #variables.whereClause#
ORDER BY tblForms.formNum, tblForms.formCustNum
</cfquery>
Now, the really odd thing is if I just take the query text
out of the CFQUERY tags and use CFOUTPUT instead (to see in my
browser what query is getting executed) I get a query that I can
paste into Enterprise Mgr and runs fine.
I can even paste the resulting text into my code in a CFQUERY
and CF will run it fine.
In other words, the dynamic version query gives me an error,
but if I just output the SQL statement, copy-and-paste that into
the CFQUERY that's erroring out (replacing what's there) to run as
a static query, it works fine (sample of static query below).
The error I get when I try to do it dynamically is "Error
Executing Database Query. [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC
Driver][SQLServer]Line 4: Incorrect syntax near '10169318'. The
error occurred on line 21." which is where the HAVING clause
starts.

As I said the default behavior is to escape the quotes in
your variables
as data. So the default output of your SQL statement, before
preserveSingleQuotes() would be like this.
HAVING formNum = ''12345'' OR formNum = ''54321''
As you can see that is not the desired results in your case.
In your
case you have the proper number of single quotes in your
string and you
do not want any added. You want to preserve them so to say.
Thus
adding preserveSingleQuotes() around your whereClase
variable, i.e.
preserveSingleQuotes(whereClause) says do not add any quotes,
keep them
all single. -
Syntax error when adding variables in recordset (query)
MySql,PHP,Dreamweaver,WindowsVista
Hi I am receiving a syntax error: invalid quantifier ++ $orderNum;s*?> when adding two variables in the recordset (query) dialog box. I get the error when clicking OK.
Here is what is entered:
name: fieldname
type: text
default: -1
runtime value: $_GET['Field']
name: searchvalue
type:text
default: -1
runtime value: $_GET['Search']
Can anyone help with this?That's a completely separate issue. The error message is telling you that you have not defined the testing server correctly in the Site Definition dialog box.
The Host directory field and URL prefix should both point to the same place, in other words, the root of your website. Host directory is the physical path, while URL prefix is the address you would put in a browser address bar.
Select Site > Manage Sites. Select the name of the site, and click the Edit button. In the Site Definition dialog box, select the Advanced tab, and then choose Testing server from the Category list on the left.
Depending on how your remote login works, Host directory should probably be public_html or just /. Use the same value as in the Remote server part of the Site Definition dialog box. The URL prefix should be http://gaylehansen.aisites.com/. -
Hi All,
We have used QAAWS for creating a dashboard in Xcelsius using Trigger cell for a selection variable in BI Query.When a different selection is maded for that variable getting the below error (In this case i have selected US for the variable)
A database error occured. The database error text is: The MDX query SELECT { [Measures].[4FYOXRUNHMI2F3N8G0Q6GNC0I] } ON COLUMNS , NON EMPTY [0SALESORG].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS DIMENSION PROPERTIES [0SALESORG].[40SALESORG] ON ROWS FROM [ZGC0_M001/TEST_2] SAP VARIABLES [TEST_BO] INCLUDING US failed to execute with the error Unknown error. (WIS 10901)
checked in MDXTEST giving the query
SELECT { [Measures].[4FYOXRUNHMI2F3N8G0Q6GNC0I] } ON COLUMNS , NON EMPTY [0SALESORG].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS DIMENSION PROPERTIES [0SALESORG].[40SALESORG] ON ROWS FROM [ZGC0_M001/TEST_2] SAP VARIABLES [TEST_BO] INCLUDING US
It thrown an error saying the above query is invalid.
Later i tried with the below query
SELECT { [Measures].[4FYOXRUNHMI2F3N8G0Q6GNC0I] } ON COLUMNS , NON EMPTY [0SALESORG].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS DIMENSION PROPERTIES [0SALESORG].[40SALESORG] ON ROWS FROM [ZGC0_M001/TEST_2] SAP VARIABLES [TEST_BO] INCLUDING [0SALESORG].[US]
Now it perfectly worked fine.
Can any one let me know why a wrong MDX query is getting generated and how to rectify it?
Regards,
PraHi Ingo,
Sorry for the late reply....
Yes i am sending the Key values as the input for the variables.
If you observe the 2 MDX Statements(the last line especially) .....i guess [SalesOrg] needs to get appended in the MDX Statement for the Key values that i input and as it is not happening it is throwing an error saying MDX error.

Hello,
A plsql procedure contains the following statement in the declare section:

The procedure compiles without any problem. Please adapt the plsql parser to support $$variables.

Access denied error for shared variables in application builder
I'm trying to use SVs in my app. I build an exe using app builder. When I run my VI from the project, it works fine. When I run from the app exe, I get an access denied error (-2147024891) trying to write a value to a SV. My SV lib is hosted on my computer (it's a local SVE). I've disabled autodeploy and my VI calls deploy library on the lvlib file before I try to use it. What could I be dong wrong?
Hi knicewar!
Thank you for posting on the discussion forums! What are you refering to when you say SVs? Here is a KnowledgeBase article discussing the same error, although I am not sure it will be a direct application to your VI, since I am unsure what you mean by SV.

Syntax error for automatic generated class for object MAS_AUTH_CUST
Hi,
I am configuring the mobile sales scenario. I encountered a weird problem. Basically the automatically generated class ZDOECL_013_00H_MWSR can not be activated. If you activate it manually it will give you the below error. Looks like the entity structure is too big. So the generated code has a very big loop which causes the dump. I found the issue when try to run the function module CRM_AUTH_CUST_INSERTCDS as suggested in the configuration guide.
I have tried to regenerate the object. But it still give me the same error.
Internal error occured during runtime generation of Class ZDOECL_013_00H_MWSR (Dump ID: GEN_BRANCHOFFSET_LIMIT_REACHED)

Diagnosis
An internal error occurred when the system tried to generate the runtime objects of the class. A dump has been created with the given dump ID. It can be analyzed using transaction ST22.
