Any Idea??.,anybody apply this patch successfully??

Yes, I successfully installed.
I think you need to follwo the step as below:
As mentioned in the patch, you should install the 110959-01 first, that means you should not install the 109401-07 before 110959-01 installed. -> the command should be patchadd 110959-01
Then, install 109401-07 -> the command should be patchadd 109401-07
Then, type kdmconfig, change the video setting BUT you cannot test it, just press F4 to pypass it and then reboot

  • ITunes with videos bad, Music & Regular! Crash, Black Screen, Tagging?

So i have been using iTunes for ages and have been collection Music's CD's longer and i got to load them to iTunes a while ago. Music works great in iTunes but with my CD's i often got music video's included so i tried to play them and some regular videos in iTunes and got the following problems and issues (Almost all the tested video files was optimised for iProducts (All MP4 format)) :
Can't use some of my music videos (mp4 format) in itunes but i can in Quicktime (Got black screen but good sound ). I have no idea how they coded iTunes but shouldn't they use the same codec's?.
iTunes have a tendency to crash if i play music videos in a row. (Like to use random in a music video list, calming in the background. i know it's kind of excessive but i like it).
Sometimes i need to play through a music video then reverse back to it to get a picture. (Sound works great tho) .
Laggy! Sometimes the sound get out of sync with video and vice versa. (Usually the beginning.  Has a tendency to catch up but not always, sometimes a middle lane in the video freezes.)
Can't you tag or sort video files better.? My computer sometimes crashes or get changed so i need to reinstall my media library from a backup. It would immensely help if i could ID3 tag media files the same way i can song so they automatically sort in to music video's, movies and Tv-series (media types!) without forcing me too change it in the advance tap at show more information. (This is off topic but i need this for audiobooks too (iTunes don't got my type of books so i am manually coping them from CD to MP3 format and transferring them to my iPhone))
So i'm a trial and error person so i worked a little bit with the problems when i had the time and  when finally got somewhere and had some real questions so i created this profile and wrote this post.
Please read the whole post before you go yelling: -Look at this!, Already Asked!, See this forum! It's your computer! I usually get to the point somewhere on this post. At the bottom of the post i have my current specs for my computer. So here comes the wall of text:
I started with this http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1718?viewlocale=en_US and http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1717 which is what you get if you search a bit in apple's support site. Tried all the things there. Disabled Direct3D, Tried Safe Mode On (Note: These two made the performance worse not better.), Checked display colour quality (Maxed), Turned on DMA, (A slight improvement still issues.) and finally got to ReadyBoost. I have all my media on an external drive (Aha you says!) and yes i finally figured out that iTunes can't handle files of that size from a regular external (Observe i do not have ReadyBoost on my 1T drive, It says it don't have the necessary performance). So i moved my video files to my internal drive and it significantly improved in problems 2,3,4 (Not gone!), Also noticed that i need to have as short pathway as possible (smaller improvements yet again!) (None of this shows in troubleshooting, Apple needs to read my post i think.)
I am now browsing web forums for a better suggestions on the problems and found that Apple either did not care about the problems or the members of this or other forums recommended other media player's to use for handling devices and media (MediaMonkey, doubleTwist and so on). Either as to further their own agenda or that they have giving up on iTunes as a media player for large number of media files. (Found a good media tagger, Magic MP3 Tagger, which worked wonders on some of my older albums with no or little information). So back to my problems or questions.
What can be the trouble with a mp4 format?
Tendency to crash, is iTunes really that unstable?
Play through music video to see picture. Really iTunes?
Laggy! don't know what more to say or fix. (iTunes take to long to buffer (got between 0-15 seconds delay after i come this far, better then before but not great)
Sort video files better. (Tags). The only format i know to date that instantly recognise what media type it is, some movie format and the ringtone format m3u  (Useful to know is that you can make your own ringtones by creating a ACC with a limited play time in advanced tab (max 30 seconds)  then change the last file ending of the ACC file now created to m3u. Viola! (Don’t forget to change back to the regular playtime on the original file) your custom created ring/smstone in workable and high quality, but i digress).
Sorry for the long read but i wanted to be as thorough as possible and please forgive any grammar and spelling problems. English is not my native tongue and the spelling checker did not work in my laptop (browser) on this website

This problem cropped up for me yesterday. I had just copied a new video to my iTunes library and was testing that it worked properly, but while the sound was playing, the screen was black.
Pausing/pressing the Play button resolves the issue, until I select a new video/movie to play, when I have to do it again.
I'm running MacOS X 10.6.6 and iTunes 10.1.1 (4). I tried reinstalling iTunes, with no luck. I also tried the old mainstay of replacing the Preferences file, but that also didn't help.
There is ONE new wrinkle to this situation. Yesterday, I had installed a new app named AirView to stream videos over AirPlay to my iPad. This works fine, but after this, the issue cropped up, suggesting an AirPlay issue.
I have two iMacs, so decided to try this situation on the Kitchen iMac and played a video on this other iMac just fine, video and sound. I then started up AirView on the iPad and initiated the video stream to the iPad from the Kitchen iMac. The movie played fine on the iPad. I quit AirView and went back to try the video on the Kitchen iMac, and yes, the video now failed to display until I reselected Computer from the AirPlay menu at the bottom of the screen, or used the pause/play solution, even though Computer was still selected as the default in the AirPlay menu. Doing this once seemed to be enough to resolve the issue for playing all videos on the Kitchen iMac, but not on the Office iMac.
The only other difference between iTunes on these two iMacs is that one (the Office iMac) is running its videos from a FireWire 800 attached 2TB hard drive, while the Kitchen iMac's contents are on the internal hard drive.
Deselecting the AirPlay option in Preferences/Devices to start videos correctly on the Office iMac is not a solution, since this iMac serves as our home server for our Apple TV.
Since I have a practical option, however, and since this issue doesn't affect playing videos remotely using AirPlay, this is now a buggy annoyance, but no longer a problem for me.

  • Radeon only boots with video sometimes

Alright, I'm having a strange problem. About half the time when I start my system, the radeon driver loads properly, kms kicks in, the terminal resolution changes and everything works peachy.
The other half of the time, right when the driver is loaded and the resolution is supposed to change, my monitor just starts as if it has a signal but the screen stays dark. The system boots up completely fine otherwise and I can ssh in to use it. Any ideas why I would have video one boot but not the next? I can't find any difference between them.
This is a fully up to date freshly installed system. I've included the journal logs for a successful boot and a no video boot below:
    Good boot:

  • CompUSA USB 2.o Card, iTunes 7.02, iPod with Video Problem

I just purchased a new 80 gig iPod with video and had to upgrade my MDD Duak 1 Ghz for USB 2.0, as transfer in USB 1 takes far too long. I purchased a card from CompUSA (SKU 304244) which adds two external ports only. When I attempt to transfer files into the iPod it seems to function at the faster speed, but will then freeze on a file, not allowing me to eject the iPod or sometimes to even force quit iTunes. I have tried this several times and there is no consistency regarding how many files have transferred or their size as to when the freeze will occur.
I originally tried this without adding a driver (using OS X 10.4.8), then I added the one from the included disc - same results. I then re-installed the 10.4.8 updater thinking this might have a more recent driver, but things are still the same.
I don't have any other USB 2 devices to use to test the card.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not all of the USB2 PCI cards out there are completely compatible with Mac as they claim to be.
I tried a two-port IOGear card that had that same problem.
Replace it with a 5 port (1 internal and 4 external) Belkin and it works just fine.
Someone has had a list somewhere of the ones that work best. I know that Belkin is one of the good brands to buy for loading a video iPod on a PowerMac. There are others, though.
You might find more on it in the video iPod board.

Video Card - MSI N430 GT - Computer does not POST.
Video Card - Integrated - Computer boots and completes install of Windows 7 64-bit. Install all drivers, update BIOS to current version.  Attempt to boot with video cards listed above with new BIOS, same issues. (First two hang on Windows logo, 3rd no POST.)
    Attempted Resolutions
As stated, I have tried 3 different video cards, as well as 2 motherboards, both of them MSI H67A-G43(B3).
We have ordered 2 other new motherboards (one ASUS, one Gigabyte) because we need to get this built for the customer ASAP.  However, we have previously used the H67A-G43 boards with no issues.  We would like to be able to use these motherboards on future builds.  What possible solutions are there for these issues?

Tried a battery removed CMOS clear and reset after the UEFI/BIOS update? Tested with another PSU? Tried with just one RAM stick in the primary dimm slot, or with just two sticks?
    Results
1 Stick DDR3 - Freezes in "Starting Windows" screen when video card (HD 7850) installed.  Still works correctly with Integrated.
1 Stick DDR3 + swapping out CoolerMaster 500 Watt PSU for "Power" 500 Watt PSU - Freezes in "Starting Windows" screen with video card.  Using Integrated video, works correctly.
This is on an unflashed H67A-G43 (B3) new out of the box.

  • Mac mini having issues with video and sound

all of the sudden my mac is having issues playing video or sound. videos or songs will start but only play for a second or two before freezing. This happens with videos on my mac, Youtube, spotify... pretty much across the board!

Well, I'd open Font Book, it's included with OSX, & see what it says for Validate & Duplicates.
I would also like to add I am new to Apple computers and I'm doing my best to stay up to par with whats what and understanding!
No problem, we were all new to everything once, do let us know if you need more help or clatification.

  • No video fro new P7 board (MS-7380)

The video cards are good because I am using them again now in my old motherboard. But I am getting no display at all when I try to power on. I noticed this board does not have a 12V Aux PCI power connector like my old board does. Does this mean that I have to have video cards with the SLI power connector on them? My power supply has them but I didn't need them with the motherboard and video cards I have since there is a aux jack on my current MB. I was just hoping that was it. If it does require the video cards to have power then great if not that would suck since I hate RMAing parts it already took a week for this one to get here. I have tried everything I can think of resetting the CMOS swapping video cards in the PCI slots just for a laugh and no change. If there is something I am missing then I could use some help...... no clue what to do next except wait for an answer from someone or the company on if I need new video cards for this board or it's just no good.

It makes me mad that they would not say anything about that.
Well, you have every right to be mad.  Appart from the fact, that the system is not turning on (for whatever reason), you would have been greeted by a nice flashy Packard Bell Logo if the system actually put something out on the screen.
    Quote
I haven't gotten a response back but I will attempt to get my money back now.
Yep, that is what I would suggest as well.  You would never get any official support from MSI for an OEM Product and I bet that Packard Bell would also refuse to provide you with technical support for the simple reason that you did not purchase the board as part of a Packard Bell System.
BTW:  Your current problem does not seem to be a BIOS Compatibility Issue.  Your video card and your processor should be perfectly supported by your current BIOS Version.
So, basically, the possible explanations that remain look pretty much like this:
    - board defective (possibly the CPU socket (bent or broken pins) or a problem with the internal power distribution), defective chipset, defective memory slots etc.
    - defective processor
    - problem with your PSU or not all power connectors properly connected (24-Pin ATX and/or 4/8-Pin +12V CPU power)
    - short circuit inside the case (test the board outside the case on a non conducting surface
    - memory problem (defective memory modules, incompatible memory, factory overclocked memory, overstressed memory controller, because all four slots are populated
    - corrupt BIOS
    - CMOS problem
Anyway, this thread ends here, as it does not deal with an MSI Retail Product.

  • Problems with Video Sound on Treo Pro

I can not get any sound on my Treo Pro when accessing Video on the Internet, such as YouTube. Can someone solve my problem?
    Thanks
Post relates to: Treo 800w (Sprint)

or some mistake I am making?
You are using an image processing program to edit video. Seriously, use Premiere Pro or any other proper editing tool, if sound is critical and you are working with video that long. All PS is meant to do is edit short DSLR clips, nothing more. Yes, it's some sort of bug/ limitation - you're simply running out of memory somewhere.

  • Disable calls with video silently in jabber 9.2.6

    Hello,
My company just bought Jabber 9.2.6 and as an application packager I was selected to create a package that installs Jabber completely silently. I have no problems with the installation but they gave me instructions to select the "Never start calls with video" option and I cannot find how to disable this silently anywhere. I found that for previous Jabber version this was set in the jabber-config.xml file but I cannot find it anywhere in the 9.2.6 install. I thought this maybe was set through the registry but couldn't find any registry keys for this either. the only configuration files I see in Jabber install folder are          "log4cxx.properties", "jabber-config-defaults", "jabber-plugin-config", "jabber-ui-config", "plugin-config" and "StartupHandlerConfig". I couldn't find anything about calls with video in these files. Does anyone have any idea on how to enable this "Never start calls with video" option in Jabber 9.2.6 please?

    Hi Gabriel,
you should follow instruction from CUCM docs :
Migration of Cisco Jabber Video SettingsIn Cisco Unified Presence Release 8.x, the Always begin with video muted setting is configured in Cisco Unified Presence Administration under Application > Cisco Jabber > Settings. This setting is not migrated during the upgrade to the current release. In the current release, this setting is configured in Unified Communications Manager as a Cisco Jabber Enterprise Parameter called Never start call with video. The default value for the Never start call with video setting is False. If you want to configure calls to not start with video, you must set the Never start call with video value to True in theUnified Communications Manager Enterprise Parameter configuration window.
And from Jabber side you should set StartCallWithVideo parameter in jabber-config.xml.
    In short:
Admin should set Never Start Call with Video parameter to True.
Admin should set StartCallWithVideo option to False in jabber-config.xml.

  • Firefox 9.0.1 keeps hanging once I access a website with video, when I write e-mails etc. If a press ctrl+alt+del, opens a window to confirm closing, and firefox works again. When I close that confirm window, firefox immediately hangs again.

It stops working if I access websites with videos, and all sort of more complex flash. It I try to write an e-mail, it also stops. I can't do anything. PC keeps working, though. So I press ctrl+alt+del. It opens that window asking if you want to close all the tabs. I notice that firefox start to work again, behind that window. But, once I close the window, it stops again. Sometimes I can close the tab with the video before it hangs again, which can take a few ctr+alt+del's. It doesn't happen with other browsers! It started 1 week ago. Is it an extension? Or a virus (i use avast)? Thank you!

  • Win7-64 Photoshop CC blank Save As dialog, then crash, when working with video / frame animations

Hi, I recently updated to CC from CS6 and am having issues when working with PSDs containing video layers, or are set up as frame animations:  When attempting to Save As, the dialog will be completely blank except for the Save and Cancel buttons.   If I press cancel, then return to Save As, CC then often crashes.
Here is the Error Event from Event Viewer:

So far I am only having these issues if I have been working with video layers and then frame animations.  Frame animations in particular seem to cause instability as I can often work with video layers all day without a problem.  Then if I import video frames to layers, or open a PSD containing a frame animation, the Save As may not necessarily work.
Sometimes closing and restarting Photoshop will allow me to save again, but then sometimes a whole system reboot is required.  It is only temporary though.
I am not running antivirus software or other apps aside from what starts at boot.

Frustrating that this thread has petered out, since I'm having the exact same issue. Did you ever find a way to improved stability?
Also of note, the issue followed me across machines. Two weeks ago I purchased a new machine, figured if that didn't solve the problem nothing would... It didn't. :\
The only similar factors are that the machines both are 64bit Windows 7 (a fresh OEM install on the new box) and have nVidia-brand graphics cards. (Again, though - not the SAME graphics card, picked up a new one with the new machine.) No drive cloning was involved: this is completely new hardware, a fresh factory install of Windows 7, different antivirus (went from AVG to Avast), and new download of Photoshop CC from CreativeCloud.
Looks like our event details are quite similar, too.

  • Need Help With Video In Flex Mobile

    Hi,
I have been searching quite a bit for information on this and have found really nothing useful for my problem. So far, I've converted the actionscript code posted here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/osmf-media-player.html
to work within my ios mobile project. The problem is that no matter what I have tried, I can hear the video but not see it. That codes uses the OSMF framework, which uses StageVideo I think, so I've tried setting the application background alpha to 0 as has been posted about; still no video though. The project is also set to use direct rendering. I've even tried some bare bones AS code to implement the StageVideo, as others have posted here, but still same thing. So can anyone either show me a working example or provide any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?
    thanks

  • ITunes keeps saying that my 60GB iPod with Video is corrupted when it's not

I have an 60GB iPod with Video that iTunes keeps saying is corrupted when I connect it to my MacBook Pro. Although it seems to only happen after using it for more than a short amount of time before syncing it. I just watched a 5 minute video after I ejected my iPod and when I synced it after that, iTunes did not say it was corrupted. Although when I used it for over 3 hours earlier today and synced it, iTunes said it was corrupted. When iTunes says it is corrupted, I eject the iPod and resync it, and it's always fine the second time. This issue has been ongoing for a month or two now and it's starting to get annoying. I bought the iPod last June.

it can be some corrupted files or bad sectors on the HD of your iPod, see doing the following helps
    For Mac computer
    1. Open the disk utility, hope your iPod appears there (left hand side), highlight it
    2. Go to Tab “Partition”, click either “Delete” or “Partition”, if fails, skip this step and go to 3
    3. Go to Tab “Erase” , choose Volume Format as “MAC OS Extended (Journaled), and click Erase, again if fails, skip it and go to 4
    4. Same as step 3, but open the “Security Options....” and choose “Zero Out Data” before click Erase. It will take 1 to 2 hours to complete.
    5. Eject your iPod and do a Reset
    6. Open the iTunes 7 and click “Restore”

  • IPod (with video) freezes Windows XP - POSSIBLE SOLUTION

    Hi everyone,
I bought a 5g 30gig iPod with video a few days ago, and immediately ran into the "iPod freezes Windows when connected via USB 2.0" problem. I read through every possible post on this website, on iLounge, on Microsoft's forums, etc. There seems to be quite a substantial number of people running into this problem, because I've been seeing posts about this all over the place.
My specific problem was that whenever I plugged in my iPod, the iPod would display "do not disconnect" and iTunes would begin to recognize it - sometimes it would reach the point where it would begin to update - and then the computer would completely freeze. The iPod would "disconnect" and be completely usable, but the computer would not respond to anything what-so-ever. I had to perform a hard restart to get the computer usable again. No error messages, no "ctrl-alt-del" saves, nothing. It would also lock in the same exact way if I just plugged the iPod in without starting iTunes (iTunes wouldn't automatically start, computer would just lock up after a few moments).
Anyway, my problem was solved through a procedure I saw in a post somewhere (I'm pretty sure it was on these forums, actually). Basically, it seems as though there is some sort of conflict between iTunes, Quicktime, and Symantec's anti-virus.
The process is pretty simple - completely turn off whatever version of Symantec you're using (Norton AntiVirus, Firewall, whatever... I'm running Symantec Corporate AntiVirus 10). Then, uninstall Quicktime and iTunes (it might not be absolutely necessary to completely uninstall iTunes - I uninstalled Quicktime and then "repaired" the iTunes installation).
This seemed to resolve the situation entirely - I've updated my iPod three times now, and charged it, with no problems. Hopefully this continue to work... !
Incidentally, I think it's disgusting that this seems to be such a prevalent problem, yet Apple so far refuses to acknowlege its existence, much less provide a solution. As a long-time Windows/Microsoft user (notice I didn't say 'fan'), I expected much more from Apple.
    Anyway, good luck!

    Hi!
I have the same problem, though using iPod Touch.
My PC crashes just after charging sound on th iPod sounds.
I can be loggen on or not.
I have tried the 5R's two times
    I have removed SP3, didn't help.
I have updated to iTunes 8.0.1: Didn't help.
But I have an portable PC (job PC) where it is working fine, both PC's using XP Pro, english version.
So, just now, I am very dissapointed bu the Apple products (and it took me 20 years of Software Engineering before i bought something from Apple ..... )
So the stress test will be: Will Apple do anything with this ?
