XAML Design window wont open in C# WPF application

I am currently following some C# tutorials on MVA.
we have just moved from console applications to WPF applications.
For some reason the Designer doesnt open when I create a new project. I get the code screen but not the form designer half (see Below).
I can give a link to the onedrive folder, but for some reason i am unable to post links or pictures.
This is a clean install of VS express 2013 so no settings have been changed. (or set up..)
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The image shows it is a xml file. Can you open your MainWindows to test in your first image? I can see your second image seems do not have problem.

Itunes wont open, I get "itunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (-50)"

I'm on Windows 7 - using itunes daily without problems and suddenly itunes wont open, I get "itunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (-50)" The only thing I can think is I think there was a download in progress when I shut down the computer.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalled, but I get the same thing. I tried clearing the itunes folder and reinstalling, same thing. help!

Doublechecking. When you did the complete uninstall, were you using the following document as a guide?
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
(If damaged program files are involved here, a standard install might not remove them, and a reinstall might not then replace them. So the Verify iTunes and related components are completely uninstalled section is an important step.)

Click-through links which would otherwise open in new windows, wont open at all

it may have something to do with the fact that i have a new laptop running windows 8 but on links which would normally open into a new window like document links or page editors won't open at all.
pop-ups are allowed, and i've tried to allow new windows in general but only one will be open. not even an error box shows up.

OSX 10.9.4 system pref's window wont open

Hi my sys pref's window will not open. app appears in menu bar no window though

Log out or restart the computer and try again. If there's no change, see below.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Premiere on Windows wont open Project from Mac

It says "could'nt open Project because it was created with a newer Version of Premiere" although I have Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2014) on both, my Mac and my PC.
The project is saved on a hard drive formatted in HFS+ but I have a driver installed on my PC which can read an write on it.

check the version in help on both computers, one might be using a newer version. they changed project formats in 2014.1 (8.1 i think), the current version is 8.2.0

Ipod to windows wont open

when openning itunes on pc message comes up quicktime version 7.0d0 is installed. itunes requires qt version 7.1.3 or later. please re install itunes........ done all that and still no itunes, cant remove quicktime from add and remove programmes.any suggestions.

Does b noir's post on this matter help this issue at all?

My itunes window wont open at all..

there is no error message, no indication that there even is an itunes on my computer T_T
i've tried redownloading it, restoring it, and even system restoring the whole computer. ..actually the problem all started when i system restored my computer in the first place..it was working just fine before..
can someone please help me? that would be wonderful.
i've tried connecting the ipod to the computer, the ipod connects to the computer, but the itunes never appears...you can leave the computer on for days and it still would not appear T_T please help

there is no error message, no indication that there even is an itunes on my computer
some preliminary questions aimed at narrowing in on possible culprits.
(1) do you have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed on the PC?
(2) try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)
(c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could you describe it for us?)
(3) reboot the PC. bring up your Task Manager, and click on the "Processes" tab. now try to launch itunes again.
does an "itunes.exe" process appear in the Processes tab? if so, does it persist in there or does it disappear after a few seconds?

PP 2014.2 8.2 (65 Build) wont open videos. The application crashes every time. Even in new projects.

Version- Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 8.2 (65 Build)
Running on Windows 7
One of the files formats was WMX which was listed in the compatible list for Premiere I read. (Don't have a link to that list right now).
Computer hardware- Dell Latitude E5440. Processor- Intel core i5 4600-u @ 1.5ghz with 8GB RAM and a 120GB Hard drive. Graphics card- Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
And this computer is running Creative cloud just an FYI.
Troubleshooting steps-
-Cleaned cache within program under preferences.
-Tried creating a new project and inserting a local video clip and it still crashed.
-Tried multiple existing project files that have been worked on with this program on other laptops.
-Uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere (via Creative cloud)
-Removed and re-added the users account.
-Attempted to run in safe mode. Couldn't get the application to startup.

Now I would have come to the same conclusion as you cvid01, but the program has run on a laptop with even lower specs than the one I described. (It was a 6430 with lower specs. Also running the CC. Only one hard drive.) And other CC programs seem to run without issue. (InDesign, Photoshop).

HELP, all my devices (iPads 1, 2, mini, 4 iPhones 5) when i download a new app through appstore they all freeze on waiting and the icon is blank, at the same time my iTunes on windows comupter wont open anymore.

All my devices under the same username wont install and new apps when connected to wifi, and itunes on windows wont open anymore. wondering if anyone has the same problem or found a solution.
will download under 3g, very unusual problem. seems to be the apple username but for itunes to not open as well.

Ha ha, not to worry.
Rebooted modem and all is good now.
Very unusual that the only problem was isolated to all apple associated devices and software.

Visual Studio Designer Window Not Working

Problem is as stated. Everytime I open Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows, my XAML designer window keeps throwing this error below. I tried uninstall and reinstalling the program, to no avail. Any ideas?

I wonder if you are developing a Windows Phone 8 or Windows Phone 8.1 app and what Windows OS that you are using.
In my mind, maybe you need to repair your Visual Studio or try to upgrade your Visual Studio to the latest update to see if it works.

Itunes wont open when iphone connected to mac, please help?!

i updated my iphone 4s and tried connecting it to my mac but itunes wont open at all, so i updated mac software as well as itunes, and itunes still won't open up when i connect my phone.
P.S. iv'e already tried taking the USB cord out and plugging it back in twice already... still wont open.

ITunes wont open....will I loose all my music????

my itunes (windows) wont open when I click on the short cut or go into start and programs. it simply wont open. Someone recommended delelting and re downloading...but will I loose all my music????? Someone please help me!!!

a few questions before proceeding.
are you getting an error message? if so, what does it say? include error message numbers if you're getting any.
or are you getting no error messages whatsoever when you try to launch itunes?
if you're getting no error messages whatsoever, do you just see the wee hourglass for a few seconds, and then nothing? if so, do you also have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed on that PC?
or are you seeing a brief "flash" of the itunes license screen (and then nothing)? if so, do you also see similar behavior when you try to launch your QuickTime?

(2) Lenovo B575 Windows wont start

bought lenovo b575 last week in Bestbuy as a gift for my father-in-law. Since it was on sale, I decided to get one for my self too. Both laptops were working the way they suppose to work until yesterday, mine turns on but windows wont open, and then i recieved a call from my father-in-law saying the same thing happen to his laptop..
Any idea? Is this a common problem w/ lenovo? Not even a week old from the date purchased...Should I call Lenovo or Bestbuy w/ this kind of issue?
