Xbox One Lego The Movie preorder minifigure
I've preorder the Xbox One Lego The Movie and picked it up on the release day. The staff told me that they didn't received the preorder figure with the game and will contact me as soon as they received it.
Since is now more then a week and no reply from the store and I would like to know is all Bestbuy don't have it or just the Emeryville store.

I have an iMac 27" and am trying to import some videos of a friends wedding into iMovie however one of the movies won't import. It doesn't say why or give any error message or codes.
All of the other movies on the card download with out a problem. The movie in question is not 'corrupt' as you can watch it in iMovie direct from the SD card but as soon as you try to import it, it just says 'error'. iIve tried moving the file to an external drive ( and other variations on this theme) then importing but have had no luck.
Can anyone please help me.The mystery remains....
Thanks for the pointers. The file type is .mts (a proprietry sony one).
I have now found some video converter software (Wondershare and iSkysoft) at a cost. Either will convert this file for me into .mp4. This I can then import into iMovie without any problems. I've checked this on the trial versions and it worked well but without paying am left with a giant watermark in the video
The mystery (which I still havent solved) is why did 20 other .mts files import fine and then this one not?
If you could point me in the direction of some free .mts converter software that would be the cherry on the cake.

One of the movies burns without sound
On the preview, there's sound, but when it burns to a DVD, there's no sound on one of the movies. The menus work, and all the bonus feature movies have sound. It's just the largest movie that is having issues.
Do you have chapter markers in the movie? If so:
Make sure no chapter markers are within two seconds of the start or end of the timeline. Make sure no chapter markers are within a transition. Make sure no chapter markers are within two seconds of the end of a transition. -
What happens if I buy a movie bundle but own one of the movies in the bundle?
It has happened several times now that I'll see a movie bundle deal that I would LOVE to purchase, but I already own one of the movies in the bundle. Sometimes, I've looked at individual pricing and noticed that each individual movie has been discounted. But not always. What would happen if I were to buy that bundle? Would the price be adjusted for the movies I already own? Would the purchase be cancelled since I already owned one of the movies? I'm hoping that buying a single movie in a series automatically disqualifies you from any bundle packages in the future. But I suspect it might.

Okay folks, I need your help out there.
So the nerdy side of me went and picked up the XBOX ONE on release day. Its awesome by the way, BUT..... I cant seem to connect to most xbox live games and absolutely ZERO parties. At first I just thought it was something to do with the xbox itself and would eventually fix itself, but i was wrong. After looking into it on microsoft, i found out that it had to do with my NAT settings on the airport itself. I guess apple and xbox are not compatiable for xbox live and it makes it difficult to have an open NAT setting and is a huge PAIN.
I was able to pinpoint one that the airport time capsule was blocking the IPV6 something or another. Anyways, I unblocked that, and reset the modem and time capsule and jumped on the xbox and now have open NAT settings but still cant connect to multi-player.
Upon further searching, i was told to uncheck the UPNP on my time capsule as well, but have no idea how to find that.
I know it seems confusing, but thats the best i can describe it.
tthanks allBe a long long time before I see an Xbox One.. but whoever told you to uncheck the upnp in the TC.. tell them their dreamin' .. upnp is not support by Apple in any computer or router, never has been.. Apple deliberately wrote their own version called NAT-PMP to do the same thing.. dynamically open ports at the request of an application or client computer.
So there is nothing like that to uncheck.. and as a matter of interest.. there no box to check or uncheck for NAT-PMP either.. since apple do not believe in end user adjustment of settings.. they simply do not exist.
You will have to manually forward all ports required by the Xbox via the TC. For multi-player games you probably need to open more ports than the standard to allow just xbox live. You will need to check the ports required and open them.
OR
Buy a standard vista UPNP compatible router.. and use that.. and simply put the TC in bridge in the network.
I have not seen posts yet about xbox one.. but there are plenty about xbox and ps3 and the fact that Apple really doesn't give a hoot about games consoles.

Some movies that I have purchased from itunes and are listed in my itunes library arenot listed as purchased movies on my Apple TV. Also one of the movies listed as purchased on my Apple TV does not come up in my Itunes library. Anyone know why?
Are you by chance signed in to differnt accounts on iTunes (your computer(s)) and AppleTV? Is AppleTV connected to more than one computer? When you are compairing lists of movies are you looking under the "Movies" button, or under the "Computer" button? Where all of these movies purchased though iTunes?
NOTE: The computer button only shows the content that is downloaded to your computer(s). So it will not show all the content you have purchased. Just all the content on the computer. -
All Apple support says about deleting movies from a computer is that you "should" be able to re-download it if you live in the right area. Well, I'm in the U.S.A. and just deleted one of the movie extra features exactly as described in the support directions. According to Apple I should be able to re-download this from the cloud at any time, but now I no longer even see the title listed. That's why I wanted to test their support statements with a Movie Extra instedad of a real movie. This should be the simplest of tasks to manage, yet they make it extremely difficult. Why? I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever. Makes sense, right? But, I only have so much room on my laptop to store movies that I want to have with me on long trips, etc. So if I only have the space to store 3 or 4 movies on the disk, shouldn't I have the ability to every once in a while delete one of those movies from my local computer ONLY, NOT my library, so that I can download a different movie? Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library. So why does support say you can download again any time from the cloud then? The worse part is, the calamity doesnt stop there. Wait until you see the message you actually get once you say that yes, you do want to delete the movie (but only because you assume that you really can download it again sometime). Here is the exact 2 messages you get from Apple, in the same popup box.

Only files in the iTunes Media Folder will be moved to the Recycle Bin.

Is that the most confusing popup or what? Who develops this kind of software?!?!?!
I have tried it both ways and the only difference is that the file shows up in the Recycle Bin or doesn't. But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud. Better hey, if I clicked "Keep File", where is it? I can't see it anywhere, so where is it kept and what can I actually do with it?
I have to be honest, I love my iPhone and some of the neat features, but when it comes to iTunes, I have never seen a more difficult piece of software to use in my life... and I'm a software developer. Your Support documentation is actually more confusing than the softwae itself, it's almost as if you don't want people to use the software, just simply buy stuff and listen/watch it, but nothing else. Seriously, this is the most cumbersome, unfriendly piece of software I've ever seen. What does it say about Apple iTunes when everyone has to google solutions for how to do something rather than using Apple support documentation.
Seriously disappointed in Apple iTunes and it's never really gotten any better over time. This is one of the primary reasons I have never moved all of my recording studios and office operations over to an Apple platform. Hardware and phones are awesome, but your software is either grossly incompetent or intentionally designed to make it all but impossible to use. Either way, it's worthless to me. We're talking about software that does nothing else but manage media that I already own on multiple devices. That should be one of the simplest things in the world to do. Sad... very sad.

iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

Didn't receive $10 reward certificate promotion for Elder Scrolls for the Xbox One
One of the reasons I preordered Elder Scrolls Online for the Xbox One was the $10 reward certificate promotion that was going on. It has been over a week since I picked up the game, and I still haven't received the promotion, but my points issued for the game. Can you please check in to this and issue me the promotion? Hello. I purchased movies on the first laptop that i had, but then it stopped working so i bought a new one. not being very good with technology and most likely screwing up somethings on my new laptop with itunes, it wont show that i had purchased any movies at all. I have an ipod touch and one of the movies got downloaded on it, so when i plugged it onto my new laptop it showed that i had it, but the other ones that are not on my ipod touch are also not on my new laptop.
sorry if this confused you, i just really need help with it because it is about fourty dollars worth of movies. thanks!The ipod is not a backup device. You should have everything on your comptuer backed up to an external source ( cd, dvd, flash drive, external drive, etc).
Some movies are redownloadable, some are not. The movie studios decide this.

xbox-720-hardware-ports-640x360.jpgYou cannot. Target Display mode only works with other Macs. There are exceptions with Late 2009 and Mid 2010 27-inch iMacs that could be used as an external display for some PCs, but nothing else.
There's an adapter that allows you to connect a Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 to one of those iMacs and use them as an external display, but it does not work with Thunderbolt iMacs like yours. In conclusion, you cannot use the iMac as an external display for the Xbox One -
Having problems connecting my xbox one to my aiport Extreme.
Asked for public (static) IP's from my ISP and then got directed to Apple then Mircosoft. Having a lot of problems just trying to connect for my xbox live. More details: i live in an apartment complex that provides my internet through a jack in the wall, every other game console i own works perfectly (Nintendo Wii U and 3DS) any help would be appreciated becuase i feel close to pulling all my hair out trying to figure this out
I am assuming that you can connect your Xbox One to the Internet but just not to Xbox Live! successfully ... correct?
If that is the case, the issue is that you may need to reconfigure the router in order to open ports that are required for Live!. Since you live in an apartment complex that provides Internet service, that may not be possible if the complex owns the router. -
Open NAT problems with Xbox One .
When I first got my 1900ac I used Media Priortization to get an open NAT for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare on my Xbox One ; prioritizing the Xbox . It worked fine for about 6 months until I changed cable/net provider to Nextech in Ks. This company uses the 1900ac to hook up it's system for all it's customers ( since I already had one they're using mine ). Unfortunately I'm unable to get an open NAT in this game anymore ; I've tried just about everything , NAT forwarding , triggering , Media Prioritization . Nextech support & Xbox Live support , useless . Tried Portforward . com , nothing . Forwarding port 53 cuts off net connection & doing the static ip change for Xbox didn't help . Almost everything I've looked at seems out of date & I'm at my wits end . It would seem by now Linksys should have solutions available , any ideas ?
Thank you chin_pamz13 for your response . I tried to check if my modem had a public or private ip address but I'm not sure how to do that ; I've read about double NAT's elsewhere . Regardless , I think I've finally found a solution that seems to be working so far . I went to the website " tech - recipes . com " & found an article , " Xbox One open NAT " by Aaron St. Clair . I tried his first suggestion about port triggering , with extra ports I had'nt seen before . That did not work for me so I followed his instructions for putting the Xbox in the DMZ & it's working ! I think my problems from before were the result of improperly setting up the static ip address for my router & Xbox . Previous instructions had me changing the ip in the console along with the router ; Aaron said not to do so in the Xbox , let the router do the work it's supposed to do & make sure the settings in the console are on automatic . In the router at the DMZ , I was'nt sure how to proceed , but at the bottom is a section labeled DHCP reservations list ; clicked on that , saw XboxOne , clicked on that & it filled out the MAC address above for me . Then I went to the Xbox network settings , advanced settings & clicked " automatic " at ip address , subnet & DNS . I checked mutiplayer connections & did the " hold bumper & trigger buttons " trick & finally got an open NAT ; fired up CoD Advanced Warfare & got the open NAT there also . I may have screwed up when I did the port triggering but since the DMZ fix seems to work I'm going to leave things alone . Hope this helps others with open NAT problems .
