Xcelsius dash board showing warnings

Hi,
We are executing xcelsius dash board , which is built upon Bex query by using BICS connectivity
.Now that dash board is showing warning messages as these messages are displaying in the Bex Query.
can anybody suggest why this messages are showing in the xcelsius or how to suppress these warnings either at the backend or at the front end. we are using xcelsius 2008 sp3.

Any possibility to write code in Xcelsius Dash board

Hi ,
I am new to Xcelsius. I found that we can connect Xcelsius with the backend data via Web service. But the standred web service which we use has a very complex return structure. To make it presentable on UI we need to do some pre processing with the response returned via the web service. Earlier we have done that in action script to show some charts in flex. My question is : Is there any possibility to write a piece of code somewhere in Xcelsius to achieve that.

Ideally, it is best to have the data filtered and presentation ready once it's consumed by the SWF file. Preventing the Xcelsius flash from doing any additional processing will help with performance.
However, there is an SDK for Xcelsius 2008 that will allow you to develop your own components within Xcelsius. Go here for more information:

i feel for you as a year ago i was undergoing the same problem. I was using Basler cameras for bar code reading and i was using two of them at a time. i was getting the same error. In my case the issue was resolved after much pain. i changed the PCI cards, switched between a lot of softwares and hardwares to get the required results. In the end my issue came down to the Fire wire cable. I was using a very cheap cable. Perhaps this is the only thing i can add that you might be using some non+standard fire wire cable.
perhaps you can try replacing it and then see the results.

Using Dash board in Dot net Page

Hi,
I am using OBI dashboard. I have made my dash board looks fine.
But what i want to do is I want to integrate this dash board in dot net page.
I just want to show my dashboard in a dot net web page any code sample and any link
will be helpful.

Dash board report

Hi
Do we have any reports which will be having dash board kind of thing similar to what we have in Create Periodic Declarations in ENGR T-code.
I need to have two panes the left one shows the countries in tree structure and the right with the corresponding screen elements (The right pane gets changed based on the country we select in the left pane and we can carry out the country specific tasks).
One more thing is do we have any user exits through which we can include our own Z-objects to meet this type of requirement?
Any pointers to this will be of great help.

under (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Operations Manager\3.0\Data Warehouse\):
• Increase the value of Bulk Insert Command Timeout Seconds to 80.
• Create a new DWORD value, name it “Search Command Timeout Seconds” and set its value to 300.
If these are custom Dashboards. If yes, are the built-in dashboards have the same issue. Does them show data as expected?

Web App Monitor Dash board is blank after switching to paid subscription

Hello,
I have successfully created a web app, published it to azure, and have been monitoring it on the Monitor dash board with all the 6 metrics, cpu time, requests, data in, data out etc. ever since starting the trial, and have watched the metrics on the dashboard
show all the data without any problems.
This past weekend, we switched over to a paid subscription, and now the monitor dashboard is blank. No metrics are being shown, and I have all the previous metrics selected so they should be displayed in the window. I switched over to the "New Portal"
thinking that there may be an issue with the default management portal, but the new management portal is also blank.
We also have a SQL Azure database as well, and I am not having any problems viewing any of the metrics for the database from either the default management portal or the New portal?
Can anyone explain why this might be happening?

I think this may be a Azure server issues, If your issue is still not fixed, then i would suggest you Open a Billing Ticket from portal by selecting portal errors and exceptions.

You can design dashboards using Web Application Designer (WAD), Visual Composer or Crystal Xcelsius . You can create a web template in Web Application designer and place the web items like Chart, Tables etc. depending on your requirement. The output will be a web page. You can create Flash based dashboards using Visual Composer / Crystal Xcelsius.

Dash board report for make to stock scenario?

Here i am having a problem that, I need to do the dash board report to display the sales and production values (quanty s , value) with particular date comparission.
some more detailed.
my client need the report with day wise production and sales values with respective of material number. I can make the report if it is make to order situation. but , this is make to stock situation. and also mentioned that values should match the G\L Account ,ref: fs10n Transaction.

Error while executing the BO Dash Board

Dear Sapians
i am facing the following issues in the BO while execute the Dash Board.
But the authorization working fine in BW side . In the filter of the BO Dash Board i am getting the correct values which i was restricted in the BW side.

The exactly erro refers to a problems when you try upgrade from these version to 11.5.10.
Can you read this note and apply solution? The note refers a patch, but the problem is the same.

Including an link to an help file(*.chm) in dash board

hi,
is it possible to place an *.chm file(help file) in the dash board .
i tried but OBI is not opening it up in that format.
can some one give me an solution to this.

'.chm' is a Microsoft Compiled Help file that only works in Microsoft Explorer. You are advised to convert it to a friendlier format like HTML.
As per Microsoft, due to a remote code execution vulnerability, you cannot open .chm from a URL. However there are some workarounds in the link below:

Coming back to Oracle BI, you could open the link in a separate window, and ask users to download the chm. Once downloaded locally, the chm file should work fine.
