Xcelsius workgroup and reporting services: problem with export

Hello,
I'm evaluating Xcelsius workgroup with the trial version. I tried to use data from reporting service. I followed the steps in the white paper provided in the bo site.

It works fine (in the preview). However, when I export my file that doesn't work anymore. The parameters'dropdown list aren't populated and when I click on the RS button, nothing appear... Did I miss something (export parameters)??? Is it because of the trial version ??

For someone that should have the same problem, the solution is to change the security settings of the flash player.

[9.2] WebServices and soap:address - problem with exported EAR

I 've created a top-down web service from a wsdl file.
The soap address in the orginal wsdl file is
<soap:address location="https://localhost:7002/SITWebServices"/>
The soap address in the wsdl file that Workshop create in WebContent/wsdl is:
<soap:address location="http://localhost:10014/SITEmulator92/services/SITWebServicesPort"/>
Locally I can run test Web Services both here:
http://localhost:10014/SITEmulator92/services/SITWebServicesPort
and here:
http://localhost:7001/SITEmulator92/services/SITWebServicesPort
(port 10014 is another port which appears in Web Service Explorer)
and it works.
But when I export EAR file and deploy it on a server (ex: http://myserver.com ) I don't know what is the URL of the web service.
I tried:
http://myserver.com:10014/SITEmulator92/services/SITWebServicesPort
http://myserver.com:7001/SITEmulator92/services/SITWebServicesPort
and others... but there is no web service there.
Moreover, why the web service doesn't appear in the Web Service list under the deployed EAR (Weblogic console) ?

The problem was very silly: I forgot to include the libraries in the export options (Project -> Properties -> Java Build Path -> Check all the libraries).
The URLs now work.

Xcelsius and Reporting Services issue

Hi,
I'm having problems with the integration of xcelsius and Reporting Services.
i need to install in the server the XRS (xcelsius Reporting Services) correct? I also need to change the Web.config to tell the XRS the location of the reports?
After the installation of the XRS what do i need to config more to make it work with the reporting services?
Can the XRS extract information of Reporting Services Store Procedures?

Problem with exporting a report to excel vial citrix server

Hi,
We are encountering a problem with exporting a report to excel through ALV local file icon.A spread sheet is downloading only one row (From header) instead of many rows from the ALV output .
Above is working fine for the GUI installed on my PC, but not throgh the Citrix server.
Can any body have idea on above mentined?

I understand that you're trying to download the file to a local computer through Citrix. In this case you need autorizations in Citrix for your user ( CItrix user)

Trying to install features for PowerPivot and Reporting Services from SQL Server 2012 with SP2, but no access to key?

I had installed SQL Server 2012 PowerPivot on WFE and App Server. This is test farm with 1 WFE and 1 APP and 1 SQL Server.
However, we had a heap of issues with Windows Claims Authentication and PowerPivot - issues were raised with "unable to make a connection to EntityDataSource" . Now we uninstalled the PowerPivot and Reporting Services features and wanted to install
with the SQL Server 2012 with SP2. Originally SP2 was installed seperately and we had read there had been issues.
Anyway on trying to install the features again using the SQL Server 2012 with SP2 iso I get
Could not open key UNKNOWN\Components
I don't want to start deleting or changing permissions as quite dodgey. What is this key for anyway and how do I resolve my issue.

Hi John,
Did you meet the error message during the process of configuring the PowerPivot for SharePoint?
If yes, I suppose that the existing features or components have not been uninstalled completely.
I recommend to delete the two keys left when uninstalling the PowerPivot and please make a copy of the registry keys before you delete the two keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\15.0\WSS\ServiceProxies\Microsoft.AnalysisServices.Sharepoint.Integration.MidTierServiceProxy
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\15.0\WSS\ServiceProxies\Microsoft.AnalysisServices.Sharepoint.Integration.MidTierServicea
Please check the steps in the link below to see if there anything wrong when you uninstalling the PowerPivot and then re-install it to see how it works:

Reporting a problem with firmware and secondary ca...

Hi there,
I would like to report a problem with the 202.12.11 firmware for the Nokia E75.
My secondary camera works fine with the normal camera application until I make a video call. The picture for the video call using the secondary camera is just white and blank.
After making the video call, the secondary camera won't work with the default camera application. I can switch between video and image mode but all I see is my camera wallpaper.
It's definitely not the hardware because the secondary camera will work again after reinstalling the firmware .... until I use it in a video call that is!
I have also had no problems with video calls using the older firmware.
Please advise and I hope you can issue a patch soon.

I had the exact same problem. I eventually used their "Express Lane" problem reporting, and they refunded me the cost of the episode. (???) Um, hello, that's not what I was asking for... can I just have my episode #3 please? Hopefully they'll get around to uploading the right show eventually, and possibly not use the Swedish Chef as an intern to manage their upload queue. #borkborkbork

URGENT : Problems with exporting a translated application

Hi ! I have a problem with exporting a translated application. Effectively, I exported both applications (The normal and the translated version). I want now to apply the translation XLIFF. I want to know if it is possible to apply my old XLIFF file. The problem is that I can't select the same ID for my application.
I really have problems!
Anyone can help me ?

When I import the translated version, the translation works a little bit. Effectively, all my reports appear but there is no item that appears.

Alias, DB and Reporting Services

I am new to SQL server and Reporting Services.
Problem I face is this. We got report in Reporting Services. It shows
table name,
field name,
field alias
I want to either find out what is underlying query behind that report
OR
I want to know how to find Field Alias data within SQL Server Database which i could not locate so far.
All I got is appropriate Table appropriate Field Name but data as shows on Reporting services as Field Alias is not in there it seems.
Any idea ?

As per my understanding, you can preview report from report manager, but you want to know the query and corresponding fields of the report in SQL Server database.
It seems that you have found the query. If you would like to, you can post a reply to share your solution and mark it as answer. That way, other community members could benefit from your sharing.
If not, we can check the query of reports deployed to report manager by following steps:
Open Report Manager, and locate the report you want to check the query.
Hover over the report, and click the drop-down arrow.
In the drop-down menu, click Download.
Click the drop-down arrow next to Save, click Save as, select a location, then click Save.
Create a report server project.
Right-click Report, click Add, then Click Existing Item.
Navigate to the location of the .rdl file, select it, and then click Add.
Right-click the report you added, then click Open.
In Report Data pane, expand Data Sources node.
Right-click the data source and open Data Source Properties dialog box.
Make sure data source type and connection string are correct.
Expand DataSets node, right-click the dataset and open Dataset Properties dialog box.
In Query pane, the query used to retrieve data will be displayed in Query text box.

Forms/Reports service problem

Hi,
I have a very strange problem with Forms/report service, someone can help me ?
I have installed Application Server 10gr2 (10.1.2.0.2) linux, I can run forms very well, but i can't run reports from it.
I try to start a report service with this command:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/rwserver.sh server=respservice1 batch=yes &
it run well (rwdiag.sh discovers it), but forms service crash immediately with error: "FRM-92102: Se ha producido un error de red".
I see in the enterprise manager Forms service is DOWN and report service is trying to rise UP.
In approximately 2 minutes later, Forms is UP and Report service is DOWN.
Later approximately 2 minutes, Forms service is DOWN and report service is trying to rise UP.
In approximately 2 minutes later, Forms is UP and Report service is DOWN.
and so on...
This problem started only a week ago, before this is not happening and my forms/report service worked fine for a year or more. There have been no changes in my setup,
but I do not know if something has changed in my network. I see the Note.413478.1 because in the trace file happens the error shown in this note.
But I do not know if this can solve my problem.

Problem with Exporter for MS Access 3.2 in SQL Developer

When I use Exporter for MS Access 2002 this error ocurr: 'Error #3478 - XML Exporter'

Sharepoint 2010 SQl 2008 r2 Reporting Services Integrated with Claims

i have a 4 server sharepoint 2010 farm all servers are windows 2008 r2 x64
two severs are sharepoint app/wfe servers
one server is SQL sharepoint content db server sql 2008 r2 enterprise
one server is SQL Claims Provider DB and reporting services on SQL 2008 r2
the site is behind a forefront tmg proxy firewall for both internal and external users and both locations are producing the same results.
the web application i am having an issue with consists of a primary web app claims enabled web app that only has NTLM enabled, with an extended extranet webapp that supports claims and NTLM.
there is surrently a site collection that has been configured for reporting services when i log into the site as a SQL Claims user i am able to run the reportbuilder as a content type using the New Report builder report content type from a library on
this site. Reportbuilder launches and i am once gain prompted to login i login with the same credentials i used to log into the site and reportbuilder opens up and then i am able to open datasourceas and reports.
When i log in to the same site collection as a domain user i am able to log in to the site and launch reportbuilder. When reportbuilder opens up i am prompted to log in, i insert my domain\username and password and nothing happens the login prompt appears again
blank on the back end it throws the following exceptions
1. Password check on 'username' generated exception: 'System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Microsoft.IdentityModel.Tokens.FailedAuthenticationException]: The security token username and password could not be validated. any thoughts on where i should begin troubleshooting this.

I think i am getting close i am now seeing a new error it seems that the sp farm account is unable my domain account when launching reportbuilder.
