Xcesius properties panel not visible
Hi Experts,
I have a very basic question. I have been working on Xcelsius for quite some time and I have suddenly noticed that the properties panel in my xcelsius has disappeared. I have not made any upgrades.
In the 'View' menu, I have the option 'Properties' checked. Is there anything else that I need to take care of.

Check the size of the Properties window , I think u might reduse the size of the Properties window.

CS4 properties panel not completely visible
The dreamweaver CS4 properties panel is not completely
visible, some parts of it don't show up completely. In vista I have
my fonts set at 110%, 106 dpi. When I change them back to 100%
96dpi, it becomes visible.
I'm just curious why doesn't dreamweaver CS4 scale to larger
fonts, just like other applications? Is there some way to fix this?
I'd prefer to use larger system fonts, since their easier on the

Symbol Properties panel not updating or refreshing
Y'all,
I'm running FW CS5 under Windows 7 Pro (64-bit), and my Symbol Properties panel has stopped updating when I select a symbol to modify. I have to close and re-open the Symbol Properties panel to force it to refresh.
If I have the panel open and select a symbol on the page, the panel remains blank.
If I have edited a symbol then deselected it, that symbol's properties remain visible in the Symbol Properties panel after the symbol is deselected.
If I have edited a symbol then select another symbol, the first symbol's properties remain visible in the panel and it does not update to show the properties of the newly selected symbol.
In all cases I must close and re-open the Symbol properties panel to force it to refresh and update.
I've also noticed two other peculiar refresh problems lately - when the rulers are visible and I either zoom in / zoom out on the document or change the application window size, the top ruler often vanishes. I have to minimize then maximize the Fireworks application window to force a refresh and get the rulers to re-appear.
Finally, the little document info boxes at the lower right corner of the canvas showing document size and zoom level often go blank or vanish when I either zoom in / zoom out on the document or change the application window size. I have to minimize then maximize the Fireworks application window to force a refresh and get the info boxes to re-appear.
It seems that the problem may be related to some larger Fireworks screen refresh problem. It did not behave this way when first installed - it began happening recently, and the only thing that has changed was a minor update to all of the CS5 design tools (including FW) about the way that image metadata is handled.
Is anyone else experiencing odd refresh errors? Is it possible that an extension could cause this?
Any help and advice would be appreciated, because it has become really cumbersome to use component symbols.

DaveAfter digging around and looking at what has been updated or installed on my computer since these weird refresh problems began, I may have identified a possible cause.
Adobe installs the Java runtime with the Creative Suite (I'm not sure why, but it's there), and a few weeks ago the 1.6.20 update installed itself, but it failed multiple times before installing, then Windows 7 informed me that a component was improperly installed with the incorrect privileges. Last night the 1.6.21 update installed itself without any errors, and this morning Fireworks seems to be working normally again.
I'll keep monitoring FW for weird refresh problems, and if they return I'll post an update. It is possible that the 1.6.20 update broke something that was fixed by the 1.6.21 update.
Can anyone tell me why the CS programs require Java and what it is used for?

today i created a panel in configurator and saved it successfully in plugins-panels. cs6 13.01.1 ,configurator downloaded today.
despite it is not visible in ps-extensions.
what did i wrong ?

Properties panel not "sticking" CS4
Somehow my property panel is "loose" and not sticking to the bottom. Here's a screenshot if that helps. How do I get it back in place so it's not floating and it stretches across the bottom of the working area automatically? Thanks so much in advance!
I've had this problem, too—with the Properties panel, the Tools, or the Document window. Once they get moved by hand, they never seem to coordinate with the other panels properly.
My only solution has been to reselect a default Workspace (from the upper-right of the screen, or at the bottom of the Windows menu), which resets the panels. -
CS4- properties panel not displayed correctly
I just installed Dreamweaver v10. The properties panel information is being clipped. Does anyone else have this problem?

make sure your dpi is set to default 96 dpi, I had this problem because working with a small screen and old eyes, I adjusted my font size, had to set back to default 96dpi, hope this helps -
Hyperlinks in Panel Not Visible
I've been working in Indesign CS6 for a couple of months. I have version 8.0 and am running OS 10.7.4.
Yesterday, I noticed that my hyperlinks panel was empty although I had created over 100 hyperlinks in that particular file. The hyperlinks were still there and when I exported the file to ePub, and the hyperlinks are still working, but I cannot see the hyperlinks in the panel. I quit Indesign, trashed my preferences (multiple times) but could not get my hyperlinks to appear. I thought perhaps it was a file issue; however, I opened over CS6 files I had worked on over the past few weeks that contained hyperlinks; same deal. No hyperlinks appeared in the panel. I created a new Indesign document and created a hyperlink; same deal, it does not appear in the hyperlinks panel.

You can see in the second image that my hyperlinks are indeed there. I can see them when I click on the URL field (I think because I set them up as shared), but they do not show up in my panel.
I thought trashing preferences would fix this, but it's not.

Thanks.I have had an identical problem, but I think the problem is with the actual panel rather than any preferences. What I had done was move the split between the hyperlinks and the cross-references panels, down to the bottom, hoping to make the cross-references panel hidden, but I ended up with just a cross-references panel only, and the hyperlinks invisible, and I can't find anything to slide it back again.
Even if I close and reopen the hyperlinks windows, I still can't get to the hyperlinks I've created. -
Guided Edit (Right hand side panel not visible
The Guided Edit, the right side panel of editing choices is not showing on my Mac.
I have tried uninstall and then re-install, but still have the same problem.

Captivate v5.5
One of my people is unable to see their library when working in Captivate v5.5.
They get the following message:

Also, verify is it missing or blank on other Projects or some particular one.
If you plan to rename the preferences : you will them here
C:\Users\current username\AppData\Local\Adobe\ you will find a fodler called Adobe Captivate 5.5, rename this folder.

When I type in Fireworks, nothing shows up in my Properties panel??!?
I'm currently going through a tutorial on building a contact form. When I try to type anything, my property panel is empty. This mean that if I want to change anything, like the font, size etc. I have to do it in the top menu.
I've tried quitting Fireworks, then reopening it with a fresh new document -- same thing.Use the symbol properties panel, not the regular properties panel and change the label of the selected form symbol in that panel. HTH

Process is not visible in BPM Workspace in Application panel 2

And all the steps had been done. But the deployment step, i couldn't see my process on the BPM Workspace. I searched the other opinions in the forum. It's completely same with this thread -> Process is not visible in BPM Workspace in Application panel

1. First login into bpm/workspace with domain adminstrator username/password. Then on right side, click on Adminstration link and see if you could see all the roles related to hello world app and also the users that you added to those roles.
One other very basic thing is, you should and must deploy the TaskForms project that has all the taskdetails UI pages. I hope you did this while deploying the workflow and checking the check boxes to deploy other ui projects also.
If seeding and getting demo uses is confusing, you can always use your own users. From weblogic console, create some extra users like weblogic1, weblogic2, weblogic3 etc with some password. Then use these users to assign to the roles from hello world app. Then login with these users. This will also work.

I have CC and while attempting Light Effects, the Light Effects Layer will appear in the layers panel, but the option bar will not appear and neither will the Properties panel. All my preferences are set correct, and my computer has a compatible video card and RAM. Please help!
I tried to delete the layer attempt again. I am in a Photoshop class, but the work is all online, so all my teacher is going to do is send me to this site. I am trying to edit a photo for this class, and without this working, i go to filter>render>light effects. the bar and panel will pop up for about 2 seconds, then disappear. How do i get the options bar and properties panel to display?I was about to suggest resetting LE from the Workspace drop-down top right corner, but if you can't see the Options Bar, I guess that is not going to happen. The normal Tool reset is grey out for LE, so it might be a case of resetting Preferences.

Character Styles in CSS Properties Panel are not correct
I am using Adobe Illustator CC.
I am trying to export all of the charter styles as CSS. However the CSS panel is not generating the correct style.
Right now, in the Character Styles Panel and CSS Properties Panel I have 3 styles (Default, h1, h2)
This is how they are defined in the Character Styles Panel:
1. [Normal Character Style]:Helvectic Neue LT Std, 55 Roman, 16px
2. h1: Helvectic Neue LT Std, 25 Ultra Light, 35px
3. h2: Helvectic Neue LT Std, 45 Light, 18px
HOWEVER
When I go to the CSS Properties panel the code is not showing the Font Style:

Thanks!CSS cannot render typographical multiple weight fonts simply because that's just not how it works. All CSS does is reference a physical font file and its properties and while it's possible to use the font-weight and font-style attributes to make standard fonts lighter or bolder it does not compare to anything you would do with the font in a real design environment. That and of course you still need to define fallback/ substitution options - the Helvetica Neue you are referencing is exclusively available on Apple systems only and even if what you are trying worked off the bat, it would be useless on alternate devices that have no access to the font.

Content OF Panel Is Not Visible. Need Help

Can someone tell me why the contents of the "VisPanel" (JPanel) class is not showing up in the main window. I just don't understand why it is not visible after i add it to the main window.
Here is the code. You can test it. Only the button shows up. The contents of "VisPanel" class is not visible.
Replace the images in the "VisPanel" class with any image of your choice. I made them 130 X 130. I would have like to add the images in the post but i don't think it is possible to add images to post in this forum.

Cross References Not Visible in Panel
Hi all,
I have been enjoying the Cross References functionality in Indesign CS6 to use dynamic text that changes....until recently.
When i first started using them, the Cross References (CR) would be listed in the Hyperlinks/CR panel.
I can create a destination, create a hyperlink to that destination, change what it shows (I am using Paragraph Number) and it works as it should.
The problem i am having is that the CRs are not visible in the Cross Reference panel (the hyperlinks too for that matter)
This means i cant modify my cross references.
Does anyone know why they wouldnt show in the panel? Or is there any other way to see them?
I need to fix this. I have tried resetting the preferences as i found in other posts, but that didnt helpSOLVED!
The problem appeared to be with my Workspace profile. I changed from my personalised profile to "Interactive for PDF" ( which has the Hyperlinks panel) and it worked. All the Hyperlinks and cross-references show.
I personalised my workspace again with the panels i require and then saved a new workspace with the same name. All works fine after saving a new profile. I am going to take a backup of the workspace file so i can restore it easily if it happens again.
