XCM Error in Custom ISA Application

Hi Gurus
I want to create a custom application like the one described
in this
note 1017761: imsb2b.
I did this way:
In the first NWDS I have created imsb2b in a NWDS and then I
have
added dependencies between DCs and modified just files in
imsb2b
component which resides in CUSTCRMPRJ. Then I have
checked-in all the
activities to the server.
In the second NWDS I have imported the configuration and I
have created the required projects imsb2b, shopadmin and
b2b. After deployment I could see just the xcm of shopadmin
and b2b.
I got the following error when I try to access xcm for
imsb2b:
An unexpected error occurred in the admin console. For more
information, please check your log file.
Then I have followed note 1017761 in the second NWDS (this
required to change a lot of xml content from b2b to imsb2b),
but I still get the error when I try to access xcm for
imsb2b.
There is anything apart note 1017761 I should try to
implement?

I am making a Web Module project for my dc project. Included all the library files required into public parts.
Build it and deployed it.
Now I think its more appropriate to give the first error. It is coming as
Application error occurred during the request procession.
Details: com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.WebIOException:
Error parsing [/start.jsp] of alias [LocalDevelopmentecom_auctastykake.com] of J2EE application [tastykake.com/ecomear].

I have seen the note 1017761, and applied it after creating the data-source-aliases and doing changes in web.xml and xcm files.
But now also error remains the same. I shall be really grateful if you could advise on this.
By the time, I will try to create a project as you have recommended. Also what do we need to do for the additional jar files. Please advise.

Error while invoking the URL of xcm for ISA application

Hi,
I am getting the an error when I invoke the below urls. I am working on ISA application.
http://localhost:port/xxx/b2b/init.do
http://localhost:port/xxx/admin/xcm//init.do
The code was build successfully without any errors.
Error:
Application error occurred during request processing.
Details: Error [javax.servlet.ServletException: Initialization of Extended Configuration Management failed.
Could not initialize XCM configuration in Database.
Check if you have deployed the Software Component 'SAP JAVA DATA DICTIONARY 5.0'].

Could any one please help me in resolving this.

Login page error in the ISA b2b 5.0 application.

Hi all
i deployed the CRM ISA b2b 5.0 application successfully in the j2ee engine and after that i have done the XCM configuration also successfully and i tested thru run test for both JCO and IPC components all are successful.
now when i tried with the b2b application with the following URL it is giving some different error.it is not related to application it seems the different error related to some browser or i am not sure.

then it showing the following error but the error it seems not related to application side, it is different error.after pressing the enter with the above URL then URL itself is changing in the browser as like the following URL

it is giving the error as follows.
Error while executing SAP E-Commerce Application with UME system; try again to log on. If the problem persists, call our hotline.
before that we have made the XCM configuration for CRM ISA b2b 5.0
Can you guide was there any problem in the XCM configuration?
Please help how to resolve this issue for logon problem in ISA b2b 5.0?

sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
But as much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

CRM 2007 and Custom ISA 4.0 application interoperability

Hi,
We are in the process to upgrade our CRM 4.0 back end system to CRM 2007, in fact we already performed the BASIS upgrade in our sandbox system to estimate the effort required for the upgrade on different areas.
One of this areas is related with the ISA web application, we have a custom ISA 4.0 application that we use to capture business transaction in our CRM system, but this application is running in a separate NetWeaver 7.0 system on the DMZ, we would like to know if it is possible to integration of the old ISA 4.0 with the new CRM 6.0 (CRM 2007) backend system.
The reasoning to try to leave the CRM ISA application on 4.0 is because we are using it just to provide us the framework to create transaction in CRM, in fact we only create one type of transaction in the CRM system from this web application and the effort to upgrade the java application to the new version together with the support package stack could be very high for a application that is not very heavily used.
In summary, the question is if it is architecturally feasible to connect a CRM ISA 4.0 web application with a CRM 6.0 (CRM 2007) backend system?

Firstly I can advise that ISA 4.0 Is not compatible with CRM 2007.
One of the biggest issues that you will encounter if you attempt this
is the compatibility of the ISA application with
the Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 2 browsers.
In ISA 4.0 even if you can get it to work with CRM 2007 these browsers are
not supported and no workaround is currently available or planned to address this.
This compatibility has only been address in the later versions of ISA 5.0
As these browsers versions are now becoming more commonly used
I think that this will be important for your consideration.

How to re-custom a ISA application?

Our project is to re- custom the ISA application.
We have a productive system where other developers created a custom development ISA b2b application.
Now we must get this project and to extend it more.
Our basis copy for this purpose the Productive system to a development one.
So in this system there is a NWDI, SLD and all i need to extend my project.
In the NWDI i found some track and i use one and i hope there to find the custom projects.
I did the steps to custom the project:
Configure NWDS , import track to NWDS... etc....
Following the steps i had a lot of problem such as Used Component not found and so on.
So i cannot build the project and deploy it.
I am thinking that the imported component
SAP-SHRAPP.sca
SAP-CRMDIC.sca
sap.com~STRUTS.sca
sap.com~SAP-IPCMSA.sca
sap.com~SAP-CRMJAV.sca
sap.com~SAP-SHRJAV.sca
TEALEAF.sca etc.
althought seems to be in the development system they are not.
Something is going wrong with the copy.
My questions are:
1. Do the copy of one system to another works for ISA ??
or we have to use the NWDI of the Productive to transport the project.
2. I started to re-import the above components again in the new system .
Could this solve our problems.
3. How to get the customed project to the NWDS for extended development

The basis did a copy of the NWDI to a new one without use of SYSTEM COPY TOOL as above.
So we had the problems missing components and others ...
So the next step is to copy again the NWDI and to start the steps as you did.

Error in creating connection of worklist in custom webcenter application.

Hello All,
I am creating a custom webcenter application and i need BPEL worklist connection to be set up in that application.I have created the connection from Jdeveloper as:-
In ResourcePallete-> new -> connection->worklist and has given the worklist url as well as the name of the connection.
In TestConnection -> success!!
And then i had dragged the worklist region from taskflow but in runtime it is showing as :-
The Worklist Service is unavailable .

* Either no BPEL Worklist connections are configured, or there is an issue with the existing connection configuration. Verify that at least one BPEL Worklist connection is configured for this application, and that no unresolved ''ConfigurationExceptions'' exceptions are logged.*
and in log it is giving :-

*<BPELConnectionUtil><getWorklistConnections> The BPEL Connection named 'SOA Connection' was not present in the connections.xml file. This will prevent the Worklist service from being able to interact with the required this BPEL connection.*
I am using only the Jdeveloper and i am having webcenter framework extensions in it.Also I have created the ADF Security but SOA server is on another machine. Are there any other steps which i had missed??

Debugging of ABAP Function Module through ISA Application CRM B2C 4.0

There is way to Debug ABAP FM through ISA CRM b2c Application by Modifying some XML Files as per Extn Guide.
I tried modifying the <APPLICATION_HOME>\WEB-INF\xcm\customer\modification\modification-config.xml After that I restarted the Application .
But it is not Breaking for Both Statefull & Stateless FM after running my Application.
With Some Help i found that if we try it on Remote System ( Means SAP GUI has to in Same System where CRM is Installed ???????????). but that is not Advisable Right !!!.
So if i am able to Debug ABAP Function Module through ISA Application from any Other remote System.
I think it will be very Useful.

It is other way around !!!
You should have SAP GUI installed on the machine in which you start(access) your B2C Application. This enables for ABAP Debugging.
We have tried this and works fine for us !!!

XCM Settings for CRM ISA 4.0 SP10

We are currently upgrading a CRM 4.0 ISA application from SP5 to SP10. The XCM settings for the vanilla 'b2c' webshop has been completed and the vanilla 'b2c' application has been extended to a new b2c application using the old extended application files with the new 'buildtool'. However, when we try to run the extended b2c project, after successfully deploying the new .ear file, we get an error that the XCM settings couldn't be found. The vanilla 'b2c' application runs perfectly though.
Could anyone with experience in CRM 4.0 ISA application SP10 list any unique steps to get the extended XCM data for the extended application correctly in the 'web.xml' file ?

The config path for "%sys.global.dir%/xcm/${com.sap.dc_name}" should normally point to the standard XCM settings and ideally it should be outside the folder structure of the application (ie) not within either <Inst-Dir>:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\crm.b2c\servlet_jsp\b2c\root\WEB-INF
or <Inst-Dir>:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\global\xcm\crm.b2c. Prior to CRM ISA 4.0 SP6, context parameters would determine this path during each deployment. This would ensure that an extended application would always point back to the standard XCM settings rather than having to maintain multiple XCM settings for each extended application. The reply from SAP OSS suggests that post CRM ISA 4.0 SP6, XCM settings would have to be maintained for each extended application (something that SAP supports) or the value of the config path of "%sys.global.dir%/xcm/${com.sap.dc_name}" should be changed individually for each extended application using the visual administrator to point to the standard XCM settings (something that SAP suggests as a work around but doesn't support).
Again, this problem is mainly caused by the fact that the context parameter of the XCM settings during deployment of any application has been removed from the SDM post CRM ISA 4.0 SP5. Removal of this context parameter from the SDM means that one would have to adopt either approach as suggested by SAP as above.
I hope this helps others out there who are migrating from a pre CRM ISA 4.0 SP6 to a post CRM ISA 4.0 SP6.

Error in Custom Adapter

i have developed one custom adapter and its was working fine now we have change some code according to new requirement. now the thnig is this adapter is capable for sending the data once but when its again going to send data its giving me error:
Returning synchronous error notification to calling application: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.lang.ClassCastException: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.transport.TransportHeaders.
Transmitting the message using connection http://XXXXX:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: java.lang.ClassCastException: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.transport.TransportHeaders.
Can anybody give me any clue why its happenng...

i am just guessing.........i think you have developed a custom adpater module for a adapter which you are using in a synchronous scenario..........so i think what has happened is that for your first req msg's response when came to your custom adpater module is erroring due to some reason..........so just check whether you are doing some processing for the synch response in your custom adapter module.

I placed the following url to create

And I have placed web.xml and weblogic.xml under WEB-INF folder.
I do not have any compile time error.
But when I am trying to deploy the application I am getting the following error.
If i remove the wlfullclient.jar I am not getting this error as it is trying to load something while deployment.
Please can anybody tell me what exactly I am missing.

Command line: Error: unable to open '/Applications/flex_sdk_4\frameworks\flex-config.xml'

Hi,
I am new to flex. I am trying to use the xmp sdk to create custom file info panels in photoshop.
I am going through the example show in the adobe documentation 'Building a panel with Flex SDK'
I got any running and I got all the files setup in the proper folders but I cannot for the life of me figure out why I keep getting this error.

can you tell us where your services-config.xml file is
located. can you make sure it is right under the "src" folder of
the Flex Builder project.
