  • Distribution not found

    I am having some trouble creating an installer for a program.  I need it to include NI-DAQmx drivers, and selected them as shown in Fig. 1.  Of course, this module has other dependencies, which can be also be seen in Fig. 1.  When I try to build, everything appears normal until a dialog pops up informing me that a distribution is needed (Figure 2).  If I click "Yes," I have the opportunity to locate the component myself (Figure 3).  I think it should be in the Device Drivers Disk, specifically in the folder marked disk 3.  However, the computer disagrees, and cannot find the component, even if I provide the Device Driver DVD.  Out of curiosity, I tried searching the DVD, and cannot find any file or folder named "Variable Engine" or "Base Package".  So I am forced to cancel the build.
    The resulting log file is simply:
    Adding files to installer
    Done adding files
    Preparing to build deployment
    Copying products from distributions
    Your help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Xcode is not shown in launchpad

    For some reasion I want to use older versions of xcode on my macbook pro I tried to download and install the old xcode with sdk(from 2011) just as I did on my friends computer which it worked before but this time I failed.I tried it many times the  installation finishes without a problem but xcode launcher is not shown in launchpad or any other tools also I cant find any startup icon in developer or any other folders.
    Any of you had the same problem like me with old versions of xcode also I cant isntall the application tools files because it says xcode is not found on this computer but I installed it on my hard drive.
    If any of you had the same problem and solved it please share...

    4.3.3 is the complete basic tool suite. What you downloaded was a .dmg file...double click on that to open and mount. If it's an installer, run it. If it's Xcode the application, drag it into your /Applications folder and run it from there. Unmount the .dmg when done.
    You can then download components such as debugging support for another version iOS and documents.
    I would suggest you start with the latest tools. You'll go blind trying to straddle fossilized tools and SDKs and anything you learn will be at high risk of being obsolete to get into the store and support things today. Don't put yourself behind the curve at the beginning. Don't be afraid to use Storyboards.

  • New distribution groups results in Undeliverable "recipients address not found in recipients email system"

    For some reason, new distribution groups I have created result in Undeliverable with the following body, Other distribution groups created in the past work fine. I have tested this outside our organization using my gmail and it gets returned to my gmail

  • Downloading Adobe Reader from distribution licence link - 404 page not found

    I have recently applied for the Adobe distribution licence for Adobe Reader. This was successful, shortly after applying I received an email with the licence attached and a download link for Adobe Reader XI, The problem is the link doesn't work I just get 404 page not found, the link I cannot put on here as the licence will be broken.
    For full installers:
    To download the English language version of Adobe Reader XI with Acrobat.com in compressed .exe format, click here.
    You may not share the above link, share information with others, or publish the above link on websites, blogs, or by any other means that can be publicly accessed. The information contained on this site is meant for your use only in accordance with the Adobe Reader Distribution License Agreement you accepted. You may direct others to http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/rdr_distribution1.html to request distribution rights.
    What i need to know is can anyone (from Adobe) send me a replacement link, can I re-apply for the licence to get another link or even better under this licence can I download the software from Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions instead. I have contacted Adobe chat support who directed me to phone support, phone support flat out refused to help and said the only support would be via this forum.
    Hopefully someone here can answer my questions.
    Thanks all.

    Brilliant thanks, I see nothing wrong with downloading from here, it even states "In order to distribute Adobe Reader software you need to have a valid Adobe Reader Distribution Agreement in place" which I do.
    Thanks again ~graffiti

  • What can i do when my Xcode project shows me That UIKit/UIKit.h file not found.

    When i going to run my Xcode project on my iPad i got an issue,it was UIKit/UIKit.h file not found. what can i do?

    Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
    Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
    If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
    (If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

  • IPhone SDK 3.1.3 XCode 3.2.1 Snow Leopard update (lcrt1.10.6.o not found)

    Today I downloaded the iPhone SDK 3.1.3 XCode 3.2.1 Snow Leopard update.
    After installing it, I looked in the Project Info. In the Deployyment section, the "Mac OS X Deployment Target" is set to "Max OS X 10.5".
    Naturally, as fussy I am, I changed it to Mac OS X 10.6, which is what I want. After Building, it reports an ld error: i.e.
    ld: library not found for -lcrt1.10.6.o
    Why does this happen? Did others have the same experience?
    Is this normal or how to fix? (Other than the obvious step to go to look for the missing library and try to install it myself).

  • Xcode - Downloading iOS Library fails: "...not found on server"

    Hi,
    I have a problem with downloading the XCode library.
    I get following error message when I try to download the iOS-Library/documentation at xcode->preferences:
    "Failed to download documentation package for iOS 5.0 Library.
    Documentation package was not found on server."
    For:
    - iOS 5.0 Library
    - Mac OS X 10.7 Library
    I tried to reinstall XCode, but it's the same.
    Even the same at another User account on this computer.
    XCode Version 4.2.1, Build 4D502 (latest one)
    What could be the reason?
    How can I get the library to XCode?
    When I sign on at the Apple-Developer Homepage I can see all the library entries.
    So it can't be a problem with my access rights.
    Thank you!
    Susanne

    On Xcode 4.2 (4C199) for Snow Leopard, I had already had downloaded documentation a while ago.  Just pushed Check and Install Now and downloaded iOS 5 Library updates (372MB) and 222MB Xcode 4.2 Developer Library updates (222MB).  So it might work for you now.

  • Xcode 4.5.2 wchar.h not found

  • XCode's C++ Linker and "Symbol Not Found"

    I'm having trouble with the C++ Linker and it might have to do with how my project is set up:
    Right now, I'm developing a simple C++ (command-line) problem in XCode 3.2.6, and while my sources compile, I'm getting a series of weird errors.  Upon closer inspection, it appears that the "symbol not found" errors all relate to code in a file code.cpp, which calls functions declared in util.h, and for which the functions are declared in util.cpp; it appears that the object file code.o cannot find the symbols generated from util.o.  How do I fix this?

    Alright.  A little bit more concrete than what I had before:  First the "symbol not found" error:
    "std::set<unsigned long, std::less<unsigned long>, std::allocator<unsigned long> > setIntersection<unsigned long>(std::set<unsigned long, std::less<unsigned long>, std::allocator<unsigned long> > const&, std::set<unsigned long, std::less<unsigned long>, std::allocator<unsigned long> > const&)", referenced from:
    AnchorSet::evaluate(std::set<unsigned long, std::less<unsigned long>, std::allocator<unsigned long> > const&) constin AnchorSet.o
    AnchorSet::evaluate() is declared in AnchorSet.h and defined in AnchorSet.cpp.  setIntersection() is declared in utils.h and defined in utils.cpp.
    In AnchorSet.h:
    class AnchorSet {
      public:
                        unsigned long evaluate(const Subset& B) const;
    In utils.h:
    template<class T>
    std::set<T> setDifference(const std::set<T>& A, const std::set<T>& B);
    Any specific code that is needed beyond this?

    Hi everyone,
    I got this error message by opening my Application in folder Products ins Xcode.
    Dyld Error Message:
    Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/UIKit
    Referenced from: /Users/thomasschober/Excuse Me/build/Distribution-iphonesimulator/Excuse Me.app/Excuse Me
    Reason: image not found
    the application runs without error on the iphone simulator, but i cant open it this way.
    Thanks to all

    The answer is mentioned in a few other posts, but I thought I'd repeat it here, so that it's easier to find this solution in the future.
    The problem is that the application you built for the iPhone Simulator is NOT a real application, even though it looks like one. You need to run it from within Xcode.
    I got the same problem trying to build an iPhone-Simulator application using another build process -- in this case, Boost Build. When I tried to run the program, it gave me the same nonsensical dynamic-library error. In my case, I got around the problem by building the GLPaint sample using Xcode, copying over the executable it generated with the one I generated via Boost Build, then running GLPaint (actually my program now) from within Xcode. Then it worked.

  • "application descriptor not found" when trying to create .ane file

    I have been trying to create a very simple native extention for the better part of a week now and I just can't seem to figure it out.
    Using tutorials and guides from the following sources:
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/extending-air.html
    http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/devices/pdfs/DevelopingActionScriptExtens ionsForAdobeAIR.pdf
    http://custardbelly.com/blog/2011/09/21/air-native-extension-example-ibattery-for-ios/
    I managed to get up to the point where I need to create the ane file, but I am getting "application descriptor not found".
    So, here is the detailed explanation of everything I have done to date. Can someone tell me where I have gone wrong?
    1. On the mac, I created an xcode project, using the iBattery example code from the link above, I managed to create static library .a file. I am not going to discount the possiblity that there are many errors still in this file, but I am going to assume for the moment that my current problem is not related to any issues in this static library.
    2. Copied the static library "DaveExtention.a" to my PC where I have flash CS5.5 installed (yes, I know there is a typo in the name)
    3. In my app folder, I created a lib folder that now contains the following files:
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\DaveExtension.fla
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\DaveExtension-app.xml
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\com\extensions\DaveExtension\DaveExtension.as
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\com\extensions\DaveExtension\BatteryStateEnum.as
    I set my project to compile an swc into the build folder and simply put the following code into my project:
    import com.extensions.DaveExtension.BatteryStateEnum;
    import com.extensions.DaveExtension.DaveExtension;
    var ext:DaveExtension = new DaveExtension;
    var batterystate:BatteryStateEnum;
    stop();
    I then publish the swc.
    4. Once the swc is created in the build folder, I copy the libDaveExtention.a to the build folder and create the extension.xml file, which looks like this:
    <extension xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/extension/2.5">
      <id>com.extensions.DaveExtension</id>
      <versionNumber>1</versionNumber>
      <platforms>
        <platform name="iPhone-ARM">
            <applicationDeployment>
                <nativeLibrary>libDaveExtention.a</nativeLibrary>
                <initializer>ExtInitializer</initializer>
                <finalizer>ExtFinalizer</finalizer>
            </applicationDeployment>
        </platform>
      </platforms>
    </extension>
    5. I make a copy of the swc file and rename it to .zip... I then extract library.swf from it and delete the zip. My build folder now looks like this:
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\Build\DaveExtension.swc
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\Build\extension.xml
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\Build\libDaveExtention.a
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\Build\library.swf
    6. I downloaded the flex 4.5.1.21328 sdk and the Air 3.0 sdk, which I copied into the flex sdk folder (which is located in "D:\SDKs\flex_sdk_4.5.1.21328")
    7. In my build folder, I create a simple batch file called buildane.bat with the following command:
    D:\SDKs\flex_sdk_4.5.1.21328\bin\adl -package -target ane DaveExtension.ane extension.xml -swc DaveExtension.swc -platform iPhone-ARM library.swf libDaveExtention.a
    8. I then open a command prompt to my build folder and run buildane.bat and this is my output:
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\Build>buildane.bat
    D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\Build>D:\SDKs\flex_sdk_4.5.1.21328\bin\adl -package -target ane DaveExtension.ane extension.xml -swc DaveExtension.swc -platform iPhone-ARM library.swf libDaveExtention.a
    application descriptor not found
    No matter what I try, I can't get passed this.
    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    >>D:\GoldSun\Source Code\Flash\ExtentionTest\lib\Build>D:\SDKs\flex_sdk_4.5.1.21328\bin\adl -package -target ane DaveExtension.ane extension.xml -swc DaveExtension.swc -platform iPhone-ARM library.swf libDaveExtention.a
    Either its a typo or by mistake you wrote adl in yout bat file. Change it to adt since that is the file that will package your ane. adl is just used for debugging/running on Desktop.
    Hope this helps. let me know how it goes.
    Thanks,
    Meet

    Probably something is going wrong when the application is being built, and textLayout.SWC is not found. Are you using Flex or Flash Pro to build it? What version? Does this error come up when you build the project, or when you run it?
    Thanks,

  • Build unsuccessfull product not found on the system or has been upgraded: daqmx 8.7

    I get the following error when doing a build:
    The build was unsuccessful.
    The following product(s) are not found on the system or have been upgraded:
    NI-DAQmx 8.7
    I just upgraded from LabView 8.6 to 8.61.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Friend
    You haven't mentioned whether it is occurring while building exe or installer. And I hope this occurring when building a installer. You just try this
    Go to installer properties under category select "additional installers" and uncheck all items under the "national instruments installers to include" and then build. If its builds successfully there is no problem in your exe.
    You can make separate installer of corresponding Run time engine and Device Drivers from the labview DVD.
    This problem may happens when the installer failed to find the path of labview source distribution DVD where the Run time engine and device drivers are located.
