Xcode download gets to 2.16gb and fails

I got a macbook air 2013 with OS X Yosemite 10.9.3 . I want to download Xcode but once it gets to 2.16gb a fail message appears. I have enough space in the disk and internet is fine...don't know what the problem is! I have tried restarting the download and everything but nothing!

Well, not much joy. But I suppose they've at least acknowledged that Xcode 4.0.2 is often undeliverable through the App Store.

Try exporting a Master File with settings of Web Hosting and H.264. If it exports successfully, see if a manual upload works.

Xcode download is paused in MAS and won't resume

I have started downloading Xcode on Yosemite on my iMac. the download paused at some point and now it won't resume. no matter how many times i press resume the download remains unresponsive.. funny thing is that i can download other apps. Anyone?

I encountered the same problem and after some search, I found one way to stop downloading and restart again:
Go to Appstore -> Purchases
Press 'Option' when you hover over the 'Resume' button, you will have the 'Cancel' button showing, click on it.
Then you will find that the ongoing process is dropped.
Click on 'Install' and a new download starts.
Give it a try and I hope this works for you too.

You should install Camera Raw 4.6.

Did you unzip the entire contents of the download zip file onto your hard drive before running the installer? You need to do that.
I have installed it myself and it went in just fine.

Thanks for the question. Based on what you stated, it seems like you can't update the iOS device. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

I have tried to install at different times over three different days with the same result each time. My version of Bridge now no longer shows DNG files except as an icon. The update is supposed to install Camera Raw version 9.

I had the 204 version of your error using the direct download links proved on this thread solved my problem.. hope you have same success... had to log off/in cloud manager before it showed all apps updated

Is this a problem with the DOWNLOAD or with the INSTALLATION? You should be able to download with Safari open but you do have to quit Safari in able to install. Try downloading the dmg file, restart with no apps open and then trying to install Flash Player.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit ultimate and have the same problem. My hard drive crashed, installed a new one and then reinstalled CS5 extended. Installation went fine, but can no longer open my camera RAW files from Photoshop (camera is a Canon EOS T2i. The message also tells me I am not eligible for the update. I am... and I cannot open my files and I could before. I can find nowhere to contact Adobe to tell me how to proceed. My daughter is all a registered user of the same product and she had no problems upgrading... we purchased ours each at the same time. I do know the difference is that I had to reinstall and she did not. If that means anything.

Hi,
have you tried booting your Mac from the recovery partition by holding cmd-r while booting? If that works, then start the Disk Utility from the menu and try a "Repair disk".
After the Disk Utility is finished, try the "Repair Permissions". Though this is a highly overrated "feature", it might even help in your situation. Do this repeatedly until nothing changes. This doesn't mean there won't be any messages left over.

I have a G4 Mac OSX10.4.11. I've used Firefox for 4-5 years through TimeWarner Cable and updated as the updates appeared. When Firefox 4 appeared I updated and it did not launch. I tried to get it through Safari and the same happened in addition to a warning that Firefox is an application and the question: do you want to continue? I, of course, said yes. I still won't load even if I shut down an boot up again.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Xcode download fails

Hi,
Plss help.I initiated the download of the Xcode IDE from apple store.The download went fine, till it reached 2Gb.After which the Download status shows dowloading from begining.It seems like the whole stuff has to be downloaded again for the remianing 180 Mb,which failed.Any ways to get the 2Gb of the data that was downloaded earlier?

I have the same problem, download ends, installation process begins and when it is supposed to end ... after several minutes indicating that it is installing it automatically cancel the installation and starts the download again without human intervention.
