Xcode snapshots not working?

My snapshots are not restoring even though they say they are. My code is not changing and all the errors are still there. I'm panicking because this app may be a goner if I can't undo some of the things I did.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

Hello Mark,
It seems that it now works again. But before if you wanted to know, was that the transfering of the image seemed to fail, as the image located in the folder was 0kb
The mobile device took a picture, but the transfer loader was continuously rotating, which you can click on cancel, to cancel the transfer.
It worked on all other android devices. So maybe it was a local error?
Anyways this can be marked as resolved, thanks for your help.

AE cs5 snapshot not working on Mavericks

Im running AE cs5 on a mac and since upgrading to Mavericks the snapshot function in after effects does not work.
After taking a snapshot, it does not display when you click and hold on 'Show snapshot' button.
My specs:
OSX 10.9.4
3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
16GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB
Any help, would be great!

Mac OSX 10.9 is not on the list of supported operating systems for CS5:

I would be unsurprised to find that's not the only issue with Mavericks and such an old version of After Effects.
On the off chance that this fixes it, try this: fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications
Permissions are often messed up when upgrading Mac OSX (this was especially a problem with 10.9 and 10.10).

Local snapshots not working

I've read Pondini's articles on this but I still can't work out why Time Machine isn't creating local snapshots of my machine. I have 72GB of 500GB free on my HDD which is definitely over the 10% threshold needed for local snapshots to work (I think) so I don't know why it isn't working.
Any suggestions or help would be very much appreciated.

Local snapshots not working in Lion after restore from TM

After some problems I must restore my MB Pro from TM backup (fresh Lion install and then restore from TM using User Migration tool).
From that point I can't get "local snapshot" working. Normal Time Machine backups are working OK (I must did new complet backup after restore) when I'm connected to my home network, but I can't see any local backups in "Star Wars" view. "Star Wars" view is not accessible when I'm not connected to my TM drive.
When I open /Volumes/MobileBackups folder in Finder, I can see MobileBackup volume mounted, but it have name coded in some hash (3lvtSzcL34......). Inside of this volume is standard /Backups.backupdb/[Computer Name]/.. structure, but with only one snapshot with date and time when I restored my MB Pro from backup.
I was looking online bud didn't find any info, how to get it wokrs again.
What I already tried?
- repair disk permissions - didn't help at all, only 5-8 permissions were wrong on some Java Library
- disabling and re-enabling TM - no change. After disabling TM, MobileBackups volume is unmounted, mounted again after enabling but with different hash name
- manualy turn local snapshots on/off - using tmutil enablelocal/disablelocal have same effect as above
Is there any way how to delete current MobileBackup volume so it can be created again?

Your best bet is to install iWork '09 the same way you did originally, if that was a download and install package or a disk. Once we got into the era of the App Store, things became more difficult. If that's the case for you, you could contact App Store support, I suppose, and see what they recommend.
If all else fails and having iWork '09 is really important to you, you could purchase a disk from Amazon at a very reasonable price.

Xrm.Page Script Snapshot - Not Working

I've installed the 2011 CRM SDK and am trying to go through the steps listed in the Read Me Word Document but I am hung up now. When I click the Xrm.Page Snap Shot I get the Dialog however when I click Get Data, It looks like it does something for a second
but I never get the data to copy and paste also the copy to clip board button does not show up. Been fighting with this for a few hours now, I've tried to re-install a few times but still no success.

I have been able to make some progress I found that it works on entities with a sprocket icon but not on entities that have a brown folder in front of some pages, I'm not sure what the entity types mean. If anyone can shed some light.

Live snapshots not working in 3.0.3

Please help. I have read that live snapshots are possible in Oracle VM 3.0.3.
Simply do a clone of a running VM.
But everytime I try this I get an error saying that it can't clone a live running VM.
Please let me know what i am doing wrong.

Xcode indention not working regardless of preference

i can't seem to get Xcode to indent a line after a colon : nor will it indent to the position of the previous line.
my preferences look like this:
i've tried resetting preferences using
defaults delete com.apple.dt.Xcode
..to no avail.
i'm trying to type python if that matters.

It looks like a faulty repair. You should take it back to Apple and have it redone.

Help with Xcode 3.2.6 with ios sdk 4.3: will not work...

So I recenty upgraded my Mac to OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and the xcode that came with it would not work effectively. I just downloaded xcode 3.2.6 with ios sdk 4.3 from Apple and installed them (after having to change the date to 2011). Xcode worked but opening the interface builder resulted in a blank window opening, not the actual interface builder. So then I tried to reinstall the .dmg file of xcode and ios sdk, which was again successful, but when I click on any of the applications it installs to open them I get an error. The error message is telling you that the linker is looking for the Xcode executable on your desktop and can't find it. Where did you install Xcode? The default location is in /Developer.
It sounds like you have an outdated alias to Xcode on your desktop. Can you launch Xcode if you navigate to Xcode in the Finder and launch it from there?

Sp_addscriptexec is not working with FTP Snapshot delivery

We have a SQL Server Merge Replication topology. Both Publisher a Subscribers are using SQL Server 2012.
As I have seen in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms174360(v=sql.120).aspx
"Using sp_addscriptexec to
post a script file for publications using FTP for snapshot delivery is only supported for Microsoft SQL Server Subscribers."
So we should be OK...
The problem is that the Merge Agent is looking for the Script in the local PC instead of download it form the
FTP Server.

As you can see, the FTP snapshot is working fine

I understand what you are saying and I know it would solve the problem, but it's now our case.<o:p></o:p>
We have other installations with Merge Replication using a shared path (UNC) to download the initial snapshot and every user script is downloaded also from
de shared location fine.<o:p></o:p>
In this case,
we have no direct access to a shared folder in server. The full replication process is done by internet without VPN.<o:p></o:p>
I think the “Snapshot folder” it's well configured as the snapshot it’s being downloaded OK from the
FPT Server.<o:p></o:p>
My question is: Why the merge agent connects to the FPT server for download de Snapshot but it does not do the same to download the user script??<o:p></o:p>
May be it’s a bug in the Merge Agent or some parameter I am not passing?<o:p></o:p>

Hi, I am a new user to xCode and just recently downloaded a SDK Disk image and also an older version of xCode from the Apple Developer site. I opened the 'Interface Builder' for the first time and it worked. Next, when I tried to open it again (with and without the xCode 'Mainmenu.xib' attachment file from xCode) it kept showing the message "it quit unexpectedly".
I need to create an application for a project I am working on. If anyone who can resolve my problem of why the Interface Builder is not working, that will be great.
If you need additional details (like which versions etc.) please ask, for I am desperate to find an adequate solution to this problem.

Without intending any disrespect, if you had suspected these would be questions and if you're in a hurry for an answer, then why did you exclude the information? And yes, knowing the Mac OS X version (preferably Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.7) , as well as the Xcode version might shed some light on this. Might. And I'll presume there's a specific reason you downloaded what I will assume is an Xcode3 version.
Was this an existing Xcode project, or did you start with a new project here? If it's an existing project, it could well have a corruption or an incompatibility.
Initially, I'd probably start with a new project, and load in newly-copied source files. On the off chance the project is corrupted.
Failing that, I'd deinstall Xcode using the documented procedures, and would then reload it. If there was an old version of Xcode around on the system, sometimes wonky stuff can happen with an installation.
And FWIW, the Apple Developer Forums and the Apple mailing lists tend to see far more developer-related traffic than do these particular forums. (There's an Xcode users' mailing list around which sees regular traffic, too.)

Well I didn't enter a hostname from my ISP, but I did need to enter as a Host Domain the sub-domain (CNAME) that we use for our server. Don't know all the proper terminology, but I hope that's clear enough to someone to help. As soon as I did that, it worked again.

External library not working in xcode 4.5

I developed an application in Xcode 4.5and added an external library in to the application, while compling the app i am getiing the below error.
ld: library not found for -lgsgdg
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
Anyone please help

Take a look at the following thread on MacRumors:
-ll linker flag not working
Make sure the library you're linking is part of the Link Binary with Libraries build phase. If you still get a link error, add a search path for your library to the Library Search Paths build setting.
