Xcode: Storyboard blurry on rMBP after update
After updating Xcode to 6.3, I've been having issues with the storyboard displaying UI elements in a blurry way. This was not an issue before the 6.3 update. Any tips? Thanks!
Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:
Notice how the buttons up top have a higher resolution than the UILabel "Detail"
The front camera will ALWAYS be blurry, no matter what!! If you want to take selfies, try flipping your phone or ipad around so you're facing the back camera. Yes, it'll take 10 extra photos to get it right, but at least it'll be clear! That's what I do.

Pages documents look blurry after updating to iOS 8.3
I use the iWorks apps a lot, after updating tonight to iOS 8.3 I discovered that the display of all the documents from Pages looks blurry, and when I open a document it looks still blurry, is there a way to fix it?, Am I the only one having this trouble?
Just got off the phone with Apple Tech Support, including a Pages specialist. No solutions so far but there have been other complaints. The initial technician had to look up under iWorks rather than Pages. The Pages specialist is filing a report but suggested it would speed things along to go to apple.com/feedback, scroll down to iOS Apps, select Pages, and file a bug report online, which I just did. The more of us willing to file an online bug report the faster the fix. Be sure to include the version number of Pages (Settings/Pages). I checked other native iOS apps (Safari, Mail, Notes, Calender, Contacts) and they are all fine. I updated my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 to iOS 8.3 and Pages text is blurry. I did not update my iPhone 5c. It is still running iOS 8.2 and Pages text is perfect. All are running the latest version of Pages (2.5.2). So the problem is definitely with the 8.3 update.

It sounds like your rear facing camera is not functioning correctly. I would start by quitting all the open apps on the phone with the following article:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, and you have a protective case, remove the phone from the case and retest the issue.

Problem after update to 10.9.3 rMBP - no login panel

After update to 10.9.3 I don't run the rMBP. After press power button I pressed Cmd+S, then mount -uw / and cat /var/log/system.log.
fsck ok

The app-store says:
"You do not need to re-run the installer if you already have Xcode 4.1 for Lion successfully installed, as the included tools are unchanged in this update" -
Problem with "ld" after updating to Xcode 2.3
After updating to Xcode 2.3, I got an error when building a FORTRAN program. The problem seems to occur at the linking stage. The error message goes like this:
/usr/bin/ld: can't open: /usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.0/libgcc.a (No such file or directory, errno = 2)
It is true that there is no such a directory (/usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.0), but there is one named
/usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.1
Why does "ld" seem to miss the update?
(Some article on the web suggest adding -lSystemStubs -lcc_dynamic flag. How does that work?) Thanks
1.5 GHz PowerPC G4 Mac OS X (10.4.7)ld comes with Apple's XCode, but g77 (or some other program in the g77 package) is what calls ld. When g77 itself is compiled, it hard-codes a list of paths to some xcode-supplied gcc files. If your g77 predates the release of xcode2.3, it would only know the locations of the older gcc (4.0.0) files (until xcode2.3 was released, nobody knew which gcc version it would have or where its files would be).
Fink's g77 3.4.3-13 and 3.4.3-100 both appear to encode locations for both gcc 4.0.0 and gcc 4.0.1. Perhaps you have a slightly older revision? -

ThanksThere should be provisions to migrate Xcode 5 projects to Xcode 6 just as in the past when going from say Xcode 4 to Xcode 5, etc.

After update, my pics in my photo albums look like crap!
After updating, I notices my pictures in albums are blurry but not the pics on my camera roll! Is there a way to fix this becAuse I have pictures of my kids I show off everyday and now these precious memories are all blurry?

Lumia 720 camera gets bad after updating to Amber?...

I got the Amber Update for my 720 last night. It's a nice little update, except the camera seems to perform worse. The images always seems to be washed out and more blurry. in low light it takes (much) brighter photos, but also a lot noisier and blurry. And the images always seems to have an awful green colour tint. I'm a bit annoyed right now . Anyone else experience this on their lumia?
I attached two photos for reference. One is taken before the update, and the other one is taken after it.

the two images you posted definitely show worse image after update :/
aside from increasing my average battery consumpution on standby, the amber did not affect the quality of my camera / fotos. i have no foto comparison for before n after, but with my overall experience in photography, id say the amber update somewhat improved the camera's low light performance, notwithstanding grain ofcourse.
colors seem to still be acceptable. i think nokia has been able to improve their post processing software along with the update (as far as my experience is concerned).
maybe a factory reset n re-install of the update would help. but before you do that, try to think really hard if you were in the right camera settings / using 'lenses' or other camera apps, etc.
note : always backup your data before wiping the os -

I recently updated to Yosemite and now I am having problems with the above mentioned apps, not opening at all.
I am unable to check to which version its update to, or even update to next version.You ran a defective third-party "utility" such as "CleanMyMac" or "MacCleanse" that purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.
The first thing you need to do is remove that software according to the developer's instructions. Never install it, or anything like it, again. Then see below. If you use any iWork applications, you may need to delete them and redownload them from the App Store.

Some AWN applets crashes after update
I've just updated avant-window-navigator and awn-extras-applets.
After update some of applets like "Notitfication Area" applet or "Places" applet crashes with this errors

IPhone SDK 3.1.3 XCode 3.2.1 Snow Leopard update (lcrt1.10.6.o not found)
Today I downloaded the iPhone SDK 3.1.3 XCode 3.2.1 Snow Leopard update.
After installing it, I looked in the Project Info. In the Deployyment section, the "Mac OS X Deployment Target" is set to "Max OS X 10.5".
Naturally, as fussy I am, I changed it to Mac OS X 10.6, which is what I want. After Building, it reports an ld error: i.e.
ld: library not found for -lcrt1.10.6.o
Why does this happen? Did others have the same experience?
Is this normal or how to fix? (Other than the obvious step to go to look for the missing library and try to install it myself).iPhone Dev Center

Several problems after updating PS to 14.2
I updated PS CC to 14.2 today. After that, I am unable to (so far)
- Save a project as JPG
- Free transform, dodge, burn, erase, move and so on.
"Could not xxxxx because of a program error" is the message i get.
Drivers are up to date, and it worked fine earlier today with these commands which I use every day, problems came immediately after updating.
