Xcode stuck at license agreement. Can't open!

Just installed Xcode, then the license agreement pops up. I click agree and type in my password. Then it just stays there. I can click agree as many times as I want,  but it will not go past the license agreement. I have not been able to use Xcode yet.
I have the latest version (and latest OSX) and I've deleted Xcode and reinstalled 3 times. Tried installing from App Store and from dmg. Using MacBook air 2011. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I have this problem too!  I posted it at the developer forum:
https://devforums.apple.com/thread/267280
I'm thinking about wiping my system and reloading it due to several bugs in the OS that I can't find solutions for, like this issue, unmodifiable bookmarks in Safari, printer issues, and iCloud authentication issues (password prompts for FaceTime, Messaging, etc.).  Pretty disappointing.
Thinking about switching to Windows too...

  • Acrobat x pro "license agreement" bug on opening

Hi I hope you can help find out how to get rid of this problem, it is urgent that I have access to acrobat documents for my work which is very busy at the moment.
I downloaded and installed Acrobat X Pro as part of the CS6 Design & Web package purchased in May 2012.
Since that time I cannot open any PDF, because an endless loop occurs with a license agreement screen that kicks in every 20 seconds.  It is impossible to open any document or create one, because the licence agreement screen requests that I accept or quit, and then pops up again and again and will only stop if I select "quit", which quits the entire application.
I tried uninstalling the software to install it again, but the following error screen pops up:
"The accplication selected was not a valid Acrobat application for this uninstaller. Please rerun the uninstaller."
I have activated the CS6 Suite with my valid registration number and have already run several of the sortwares already.
Please help because without this software (my old pdf viewer has seemed to dissapear) I cannot work!
    Thank you.

How to I install Acrobat X Pro again using the CS6 installer? I have now uninstalled my Acrobat X Pro using windows installer, but I can't find it in the Adobe Download Assistant. I have a serial for CS6 Master Collection, but that serial does not work on a single Acrobat X Pro installation! What do I do?

and i am sorry about my bad english .

Hello azeel and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue setting up your device.
Are you able to select your Country in the agreement to complete the set up?
Is the Wi-Fi network to which you are connected a home network or a public HotSpot?
    Thanks!

  • TS3274 I took an update on a app now it is stuck waiting. I can't open or delete. Any ideas.

A update on a app is froze. It is stuck on waiting. I can't open or delete

    Try resetting your iPad:
Hold both the power button and the home button down for 10 seconds until the apple logo appears.  Let go promptly when the logo appears.  Wait 20 - 30 seconds more for the iPad to restart itself.
No settings or data will be lost.

  • ITunes error pop up box and software license agreement - can't launch iTunes

Cannot get iTunes to launch. Pop up box with Display Setting error and a iTunes software license agreement I cannot accept or decline. Anyone seen anything like this?

Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from Microsoft:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
Now run the utility ("Start > All programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries, and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC, and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through this time?

  • Installing on Windows - stuck on "license" screen - can't sync

My wife and I were trying to do tech support over the phone for her brother. He has a new iPhone and a Windows computer (XP) and was having trouble getting it to "sync". Since this was over the phone, it's possible I have some details screwy, but wanted to post to see if this sounds like an experience others have had (and hopefully find a solution).
We had him download and reinstall itunes (so he has the latest version) and connect his iPhone. He says the iphone shows up in devices, but there is a license agreement in the right hand part of the the itunes window. The only options are "save" and "cancel". If he choses save, the file is saved and nothing happens, the license agreement is still there. if he chooses cancel, the iphone disappears from the devices menu.
Usually, there is an "Accept" button, but he said he didn't see one. Has anyone else seen this license window? Is there an accept button? Is there a way around this.
I had set my iPhone up using my mac. I thought I might be able to replicate his problem by connecting to a PC I have here (running Vista). It shows up nicely and I don't see any license screen (perhaps because I've already agreed to the license when I set it up on the mac).
The only other relevant detail I have is that he supposedly "skipped" the registration step.
Any help would be appreciated, sorry the details are so sketchy, I'll update if I get any more info....

Thanks to both of you above for the suggestion. I will have him try that and get back to you if that solves it.
    Thanks!

  • The Adobe License agreement - can I run one Mac version and one PC version on the same license?

can I run one Mac version and one PC version on the same license?

I'm specifically looking at Lightroom. Looks like I will be able to run both platforms... Now to figure out a goo file managment system if I'm editing photos on both systems.
I travel with a PC laptop (can't afford a MAC yet) so I will do some editing on the road for posts to facebook etc. and the heavy editing on the IMAC when we get back from holiday.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Can't open Adobe Reader XI

I am unable to open Adobe Reader XI on my new PC with Windows 8. Everytime I open a file, it just hangs and says (Not Responding) and I am forced to close the file. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but the problem persists. When I open the folder, if I choose preview, the file shows up fully, but would not open the file in a proper way. It also works in Adobe Reader when I open a file on the internet that is saved in pdf format by the provider (like a company's annual report) and am able to switch to the Reader. The only time it fails to respond is when I try to open a file directly, either by doble-clicking on the file or by File-Open comman in Adobe.

    Some things to try...
Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
It could even be a malware issue; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

  • Can't open adobe

Adobe Reader XI will not load at all. All I get is a blank grey screen then it freezes and crashes, Tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times

    Some things to try...
    Update Reader to 11.0.05
Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
If you cannot open Reader by itself, try to disable Protected Mode in the registry; download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
It could even be a malware issue; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

  • Hi tried to update several apps at once no they are stuck on installing.i can't delete them or open them.any suggestions?

Hi tried to update several apps at once and now they are stuck on installing.I can't open or delete them. Any suggestions ?

Here are a number of things that have worked in the past that you can try. If you already tried something in here, just ignore it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

  • Adobe reader xi update, can't open files

    hi,
i recently downloaded the upgrade to reader xi, however i can now not open any pdf's, either downloads, attachments, or saved on my laptop; i'm running windows 7.
certain files appear to have opened and then disappear in a second.
would anyone be able to suggest how i can correct this?
    thanks in advance
    andy

I'd recommend downloading and running the Adobe Cleaner to remove the entire application.
Then download and reinstall using the offline installer.
Before you open Reader, follow the instructions in my first post, and accept the license agreement. Then open Reader.

  • Application Manager - blank License Agreement dialogue?

I have CC on Mac 10.8.2.
Successfully using PS, AI & ID, but can't use the newly downloaded Acrobat Pro XI.
Acrobat launches but after 5–10 seconds it quits and Adobe Application Manager is launched. A mostly blank Adobe Software License Agreement dialogue is opened. The dropdown reveals nothing, and clicking the Accept button has no effect. If I click Quit then Application Manager quits.
I see the same dialogue if I launch Application Manager independently first, and then try and launch Acrobat.
    Help please!

Refer the list of known issues "Blank EULA screen": http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/known-issues-acrobat-xi-reader.html
The workaround is to launch any other product which is part of the CCM or Creative suite and deactivate it via Help > Deactivate menu. Quit the application. Then, launch Acrobat and accept the EULA. Then, for the CCM subscription product, launch it and select “License this software” to enable the CCM product again. If a CS application, launch it and reactivate it.

  • Repeatedly asked to accept license agreement

I'm getting really frustrated by having to all the time accept the license agreement when I open any of the Adobe CC products. Is anyone else having these issues?

We have same issues and many more that I believe branch out from these over excited and screwy antipiracy bugs ( or intentions )
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5504323
I had already tested running CC manager and all apps as admin with no luck. I would be interested to see how many of these machines playing up are, or have been on a windows domain, as opposed to just running on workgroup etc.
All sort of issues arise once its in that 'mode' from lost previews, unsupported codecs, pieces of software greyed out etc... once its all relogged in on both CCmanager as well as ALL apps TWICE, and stepped past the "expired trial mode" then i get more stability until either the internet goes down for a bit or the CC manager for some reason logs off.(which might be a couple of hours are 24-48 hours.
Our ADSL has been getting maintenance and this has been very obvious over the past few days
pretty unusable right now... too frustrating.
On this basis its not currently fit for further use as a broadcast tool for us until its repaired. So promising but so not delivered. Not sure when registered users will get the same level of user experience that hackers that remove the security measures have...!
