XDCAM plug-in won't load on my Computer.

Sony XDCAM won't load on my computer. I get as far as which drive do I want to put it on, and I get yellow exclamation Points on all the drives. And it says in the box below that I have to have FCP version 6.03 installed. I am currently running version 7 and my operating system if OSX -10.8.3. Has anyone run into this problem.
Any help would be appreciated. I have a TV show that needs to get to the network and I need the latest plug-in to give them the right format.

Do you have the XDCam codecs on your computer?
Try this - select the sequences in the FCP Browser
go to the menu File > Export > Using QuickTime Conversion
and the when the destination pane opens click on the format options button.
In the pane that opens under Video choose click on settings
and then set the compression type to select a flavor of XDCam?
And export.

Please help me....Having trouble accessing iTunes store it won't load on my computer but will on Hubbys

I can't seem to get the iTunes store to load on my computer it lets me go through my playlists and stuff but not the store. My hubby has no trouble loading the iTunes store on his computer though the only differences between our computers is mine is Windows 7 and his is Vista.....
Does anyone know or have any ideas on how to fix this issue I'm going crazy trying to solve it cos I just brought a new iPod and it just won't sync properly either.

I am having the same issue... The following are the most common occurances:
1. Sometimes the progress bar will get to about 45% and then just sit there...
2. Every once and a while the store will half load but it looks like a poorly scripted website circa 1996... all text and hyperlinks (which don't work i might add.. see number 1.)
3. iTunes crashes all together when i clock on the store button.
4. Nothing happens at all... as if it wouldnt have the time to be bothered to load at all.
For the exhuberant amount of money that I and so many others are throwing at Cupertino, you would think they would have a half decent support team that reponds online... instead of tossing blue shirts onto 12-16 jokers into every store they had as if to say... come on in and lets have a go at this the hard way.

IPOD won't load on my computer

I plug my video ipod in and for some reason it stopped loading on my computer...nothing comes up on itunes or the desktop but on the ipod it says "do not disconnect"...anyone have any ideas...it has always worked for the last year and just stopped about a month ago. I have tried switching USB ports but that didn't do anything either. thanks

Try trashing your "plist" files?

New plist files will be automatically created but with default preferences. You will need to reconfigure your personal preferences afterwards.

Photoshop elements 12 won't load on 2nd computer

Got PE12 for Christmas and have loaded it on desktop (for home use) and am trying to load it on laptop (for travel use). Won't load. Took multiple attempts (5) to finally get it to load on desktop.

Intel Core 2 Processer - 2.2 GHz, 4 GB Memory, NVidia GeForce 8600 graphics, Windows 7 on both computer. Both Desktop and Laptop have Photoshop CS 5 installed and are usable.
Got out external DVD drive and connected it to 2 different USB ports. Progress bar at top showed that it was reading the drive until it got to just of 50% and then message 'Please insert disk in DVD drive'
Think there is a problem with the disk. FYI, the serial number for the software is <removed>. I have not registered this software after installing it on the desktop, rather wanted to get it installed on both first.

The itunes store won't load on my computer

The store won't load; it loads halfway and then the screen goes white. I can still get to my library but i can't access the store. I've updated to the latest itunes and I'm pretty sure my computer is up to date too ( i've run two system updates and restarted it).

There are several things this could be. Make sure you are selecting iTunes Store, restart your computer, restart your modem, and check your security settings. I've seen that most times this issue is caused by security settings preventing your computer from connecting to the iTunes Store, or other servers.

Apache plug-in won't load balance requests evenly on cluster

I can't seem to get the Apache plug-in to actually do round-robin load balancing
of HTTP
requests. It does random-robin, as I like to call it, since the plug-in will usually
hit all the
servers in the cluster but in a random fashion.
I've got three managed servers:

Right - it means that the only configuration which can do perfect round-robin is a
single plugin (non-Apache, or single-process Apache) - all others essentially do random
(sort of, but it can skew test results during first N requests).

In some tests, as many as 90% of my connections/requests would be sent to a single
server. There should be something in the release notes like "By the way, the
Apache plug-in is only advertised as doing round-robin load balancing, in reality
it doesn't work worth a darn".
I'm surprised they don't used shared memory or some other technique (pipes, sockets,
signals, writing to /tmp, anything) for interprocess communication to fix that.

My Plug-Ins won't load or be verified in the Effect Menu

I've tried numerous times to install many effects in After Effects, but none of them seem to work. I've put the file in the plug-ins sections, but they will never appear in the program. Is there any sort of fix for this?

Where did you get the plugins? All of Red Giant plugins have installers which require serial numbers. Optical Flares has an installer AND requires online activation. Without running the installers and following the activation process, the plugins won't work properly.
If the plugins don't appear in AE at all, as Mylenium says, they are properly not the correct versions for the bersion of AE you have.

Plug-ins won't load

Hi,
I've ported my CS2 plug-ins to CS3 and built a version with XCode for the Mac. But now when I place them inside the Plugins directory of InDesign they don't load. InDesign loads normally, it complains about one of my plug-ins but it ignores the others. I try to get more info from 'Configure Plugins', I do not see them listed there.
Any idea what could have gone wrong? Maybe I missed adding some build flags?

I tried to re-structure my project files... made some progress. Now InDesign lists my plugin name in configure-plugins.
But it couldn't load it because of the following displayed info:
CFBundleLoadExecutable failed for plugin MyTestPlugin.
Any idea what could be going wrong?

Red Giant Plug-ins won't load in Premiere Pro CC

I have been unable to get certain Red Giant plug-ins (frames and denoiser 2) to show up in Premiere Pro CC. Others, like LUT buddy and Looks work fine. I have tried countless things with the people at Red Giant, but we can't seem to figure it out. Anyone???

The iTunes will open for my library but then the iTunes store will start loading and never finish

I am experiencing similar problems with my iPhone 4s and 5s, from reading similar posts their are a large number of people having the same issue so I would wait it out before taking the drastic action of a restore, which I have already attempted and has made no odds. I believe it may be an issue on Apple's end.

I tried to load the new firefox, it won't load onto my computer (mac osx) but it also erased the old firefox. Help!

A window came up saying I needed the new firefox. When I tried to load it the window said I couldn't but to click for the most updated firefox. A dmg loaded, asked if I wanted to replace the old firefox, which I assumed I did. Now I have no firefox at all and can't get back to the older version that was working.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Lightroom 2 won't load on second computer

I recently installed lightroom 2 on my mac and am now attempting to install it on my PC. When I put the disc into the drive absolutely nothing happens. I am so not technologically there and have no idea what to do....any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lightroom doesn't have an activation routine. You can run Lightroom on 2 machines, either Mac or PS. It's a cross platform license.
For PS, you need to deactivate the serial number before attempting to use a new installation on another machine. You'll get a warning dialog box on the new machine if you don't. Once deactivated, you can then use the serial on a new machine. The license is not cross platform.

Plz help. Created manual backup; won't load on new computer (save FF version). Restore appears to work fine but bookmarks aren't there.

Followed the info and backed up my old bookmarks to a file on a USB flash drive. When I follow the same instructions to restore, everything appears to be working correctly. I say ok to replace current bookmarks with saved file, close...and then nothing has been overwritten/none of my saved bookmarks appear. What am I doing wrong? Are the old bookmarks saved in an area I'm not looking in?

What kind of backup did you make?
A JSON backup or an HTML backup?
Restoring a JSON backup will replace all current bookmarks and importing an HTML backup will add the bookmarks to each of the three main (root) bookmarks folders. You can open an HTML file in Firefox via File > Open File to see all the bookmarks in that file.
Make sure that the backup file with the bookmarks has the correct file extension: .html for a HTML backup and .json for a JSON backup.<br />
You can check that via the right-click context menu of that file and open the Properties.<br />
If you are not sure about the file type then you can open the file in Firefox via "File > Open File"<br />
A JSON backup will show as one long text line without line breaks and a HTML backup as a web page with clickable links.<br />

Lightroom2 won't load on 2nd computer

I installed Lightroom2 on my PC last January. I've just tried to install it on my MAC laptop and after going thru the installation steps when I get to Install it reads "there is nothing to install." It's my understanding you can install it twice. I did have a free 30 day trial download, but I've removed all those files and emptied the Trash. Anyone recognize the problem or have any solutions? This is my first venture onto the forum and I'm astonished at not only the immediate replies but the level of professional competence. What a great service this is for those of us who just want the darn things to work but don't understand how and why they function. I cannot thank you enough for the help. I now have Lightroom2 up and running on my MAC. Ian, I did locate the Receipts file and there it was just as you said it would be. Once deleted (along with the file from my attempt at downloading last night) everything went as planned.
