Need a driver for Xerox DocuPrint 203A

Hello,
I recently had my Mac OS X 10.4.11 reinstalled and therefore I have to reinstall the printer driver for my Xerox DocuPrint 203A.
Unfortunately I lost the original driver CD which HAD Mac OS X drivers, so I tried to scour the web for it.
I absolutely could not find any driver online for this printer. I have determined that the DocuPrint 203A is a rebranded Brother HL-2030. Okay fantastic! I'll just goto brother's website and grab the drivers. Easy right? Wrong!
The driver seems to be completely missing from Brother's website. It's like it's completely discontinued. Any links that did lead to a HL-2030 download page ended up being 404 pages!!
Does anyone know where I can download drivers that would work for my Xerox 203A? I would greatly appreciated because I searched extensively.

In case you cannot download the Tiger drivers, use this ftp link:

and drag to your Desktop the dp204amacv111.dmg file.

Acrobat 8 Print Error, Xerox Docuprint Windows 2000

Driver: Xerox Windows 2000/XP Production Printer Driver v 3.7.52 (2004)
PDF file version is 1.5
When I print the first page of the PDF file prints fine. The next set of pages prints a box outline, then fails. The printer prints an error report that says
Error: PostScriptJobAborted, job has error termination.
When I print the same document with Acrobat 7 Std, on the same machine (install/uninstall) it prints fine.
I do know that the Xerox drivers are OLD (2004), but I verified that it is the latest version available on the Xerox Web site.
This does print fine to another HP laser printer (unfortunately I can't use that one except for testing).
I've compared PostScript setting etc, but everything is set the same between the two versions. This seems like I will probably stick with version 7. After searching the forum, it seems like Acrobat 8 created a lot of printing problems.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

Just for the record, in case anyone else comes looking for a solution to the same problem, the issue appears to be with my Kaspersky Anti-Virus software. By setting a check mark against most of the exclusions in the Kaspersky application control for Acrobat Distiller everything now seems to be working OK.

There's an alternative ...
Using Image Capture as a scanner:
Connect the scanner to your Mac whether Wi-Fi or USB.
Launch Image Capture.
Click the very small black box bottom right side of the Image Capture window.
You'll see this pop up menu: Connecting this (device) opens:
You can select a default app to scan (Image Capture) and select a folder from the Imort To pop up menu on the right to save scanned files to.

Printing Problems with Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C4350

Hi all,
Since upgrading to Snow Leopard, I keep getting problems while printing to Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C4350. The problem seem to occur whenever I tried to print large files or files with pictures in them. My MacBook Pro seemed unable to connect to the printer and i got this error message: "Unable to connect to printer; will retry in 30 seconds..."
Previously in 10.5, I set up the printer as an Appletalk printer and it worked flawlessly. In Snow Leopard, I've tried setting up the printer as LPD as well as IPP but neither of them worked.
Does anyone have any solution to this problem? I would very much appreciate if anyone can help me.

Hi Norman and Welcome to Apple Discussions...
It's possible the drivers for your printer need to be updated to run with 10.6. Check the Fuji / Xerox site for updates.

Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CP205w software unavailable

I have a Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CP205 wireless printer, it shows up in the print & scan box and when I select it to install it says there is software available but after trying to retrieve it, I get a message saying software is currently unavailable. I've downloaded and installed the drivers from Fuji Xerox but the same thing happens. I've tried resetting the printing system but no joy. Any help very gratefully received.

I did but I can't remember how. I tried the "Reset Printing System" a few times in the Print screen of System Preferences and I think it eventually worked. It was one of those things where I just kept trying different stuff, rebooting a lot and eventually it worked but I'm not sure exactly what fixed it. Sorry to not be of more help.

New HP 110-010ea PC with Windows 8 - & Xerox DocuPrint 12 laser printer which won't print

I had one reply via the forum, which wasnt good news. Although my Xerox printer is 13 years old it has never gone wrong and I really need to continue using it. I was told that I could, but so far no joy.
Any help would be much appreciated please.

I do not see the DocuPrint 12 listed as being supported.
Here is a link to" DocuPrint Support and Drivrers" click here.
This page states they will not be developing new drivers for this model.
You could try running"MS Fixit" click here to see is Microsoft has a driver that could be used.

Can someone tell me the correct driver for the fuji xerox docuprint p205b for os x as the one on the fuji site does not work thank you!

I am desperate to find the correct driver for the p205b docuprint priner i know that the one on the fuji site is wrong and you need to install a driver for anothe rmodel as I found this in a forum last year and successfully installed on another mac but now I don't know where I got the info from, help !!! =)

I have the same printer and I'm using Lion 10.7.4.
I'm facing problems getting the mac to print via wireless.
I've installed the driver from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL904 as suggested by sig.
I've linked up the printer to the router via usb. It works like a charm with usb on Lion and wireless on windows.
Could anybody help ? I've included photos for more information. Many thanks.

Scanning with Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C1190 FS.

Does anyone know how to scan with DocuPrint C1190 FS on Mavericks? While I can find an updated print driver, I cannot find a scanner driver update. It worked well until Mavericks, but now can't seem to scan anything or even see the printer/scanner from software like VueScan (which it did previously). I hate to get rid of the beast as everything else works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Just interested if you found a solution to this as I now have the same problem.
I have updated the system and now I have lost the scan function of the printer. I have updated the driver to 3.2 for the c1190fs but has made no difference. I have tried everything and still can't get it to work.
If you or anyone else has a solution and urgent one would be appreciated.

Xerox Docuprint M750/760

Upgraded my mother in-law to an iMac with Tiger.
The above printer would print in classic(her old machine was an iBook G-3), but not Tiger. Cannot find any reference in owner's manual to printer's emulation.
Any ideas in this forum as to what printer settng I should set it up in Tiger?

The printer uses PCL3. I think the most compatible option to get this printer working requires a multi-step process:
1. Download and install both ESP Ghostscript and Foomatic-RIP from the linuxprinting.org.
2. Download the PPD for either the Xerox M750 or theXerox M 760.
3. Place the PPD in the folder /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/. You will have to make any of the folders that are missing on your system.
4. Make sure your printer is attached to the computer and turned on. Open Printer Setup Utility and click on the Add icon at the top. Your printer should be listed in the Browser Window. Highlight your printer. Hopefully the system will automatically match the correct PPD. If it doesn't, you can select Xerox from the manufacturer list. The PPD that you added in the previous step will be listed.
You should now be ready to print.

Xerox DocuPrint N4525 No Go

I was able to use this printer prior to Snow Leopard but after installing, its been a no go...

Did you run software update? This printer is available from Apple, but all Xerox drivers are on Software update only.
If you still have the non-functioning queue setup, when you run software update you should see Xerox. Installing the SU should return the queue to functioning order.

Black text looks dark green - Xerox printer -ColorSync issue?

I have a Xerox Docuprint NC20 (same as C20). It's old, but has good print quality and prints up to A3.
On my old OS9 laptop it prints great: text is crisp and black. However, on my G5 although colour printing is fine anything pure black is printed as a composite of colours, resulting in a slightly fuzzy look and a dark green tinge. I can still get it to print in pure black by selecting black and white as a filter on the computer, but it means documents that contain colour images and black text I have to print twice; once for the images and once for the text. (This also requires a lot of fiddling; blocking out the section not to print each time.)
This seems to be a OSX issue; on my G5 in Classic mode it prints correctly, but in OSX in any application if I set a colour in CMKY to 100% black it changes to 87% with a mix of the colours at around 70%.
Any suggestions?

#1) No, there is no setting like that on this printer.
#2) I did try to make a new ColorSync profile, but found myself completely out of my depth! Any hints, or pointers to where I can get more information would be welcome.
The other problem I forgot to mention is that each time I print a new job I have to stop the print queue, wait several minutes and then re-start it (momentarily disconnecting the usb cable speeds the process up).

Xerox Printer prints, but out comes pages and pages of garbled information!

My office Xerox (DocuPrint 210) printer isnt on the list. And i have downloaded the drivers and installed them but it doesnt show up on the list either. However before i upgraded to SL, the printer worked perfectly! i forgot what settings i put and what driver i used to get it working correctly.. I dont have a backup and i've wasted a few rims of paper just trying to print one test page.. I've tried all the Generic drivers and some dont work, some just print out garbage. HELP!

Ahh.. finally got it solved after going rounds and rounds of useless printing.
Tried everything from reseting settings, deleting folders, reinstalling, downloading the drivers from the xerox website.. bla bla all didnt work for me.
Went here;

They must be installed in the order above or they wont install.
Then add new printer, IP, put in the IP, driver selected HP Laserjet Series PCL 6 CUPS. and it printed like new again.
I so thought i needed to throw away SL and downgrade back to Leopard.

Fuji xerox scanning still not working under 10.9.1 mavericks

Mac OS releases up until 10.8.x have allowed me to scan documents to my MacBook Pro from my (USB connected) Fuji-Xerox Docuprint M205b. Since updating to 10.9 and now 10.9.1, the scanner is not recognised. Printing works fine. (My last driver update file was FujiXeroxPrinterDrivers2.5.dmg).

Fuji xerox printer wont install

I have a new iMac, and I want to install my current office printer onto it, but it doesnt work. i downloaded the for the fuji xerox docuprint c525A from the website, and installed, although in the dialog box it only said upgrade. It doesnt show up in my "Printers" folder in the "Library", and although i have gone through the add IP printer menu, i still get the dialogue box saying that the printer address is busy, trying again in 30 seconds. Problem is, it doesnt try again, or it gets the same answer, I dont know. the same box stays there. the printer is on my office network, connected through a network hub. Anyone have any ideas?

Looking at the Xerox web site, it seems that there is really only a ppd for this old beast. So the file will most likely end up in the PPDs section of the printer library.

This message can be the result of selecting the wrong type of connection during the installation or an incorrect queue name. Check what the other computers in you office have configured for this printer (if they are Windows, go to Properties > Ports > Configure Port).
The error can also be the result of incorrect network addressing. Make sure your iMac is on the same subnet as the printer.
