Xfce not showing most synaptic options

Previously in Debian, when I'd open my xfce mouse settings I'd see options to disable tap to click, enable two finger scroll and other things. I've got a brand new install of Arch but I'm not seeing anything. I've installed the xf86-input-synaptics package. And I'm guessing i could probably enable/disable those things manually but I'm confused as to why those basic options aren't showing up where they do in Debian since xfce4 is at least as new in Arch.
Do I need to start the synaptics driver with systemd? Did I miss something easy? Posting in NC because it's been about 7 years since I've worked with Arch.

Although I have xf86-input-synaptics installed, I don't recall doing anything specific to get them to show up (other than maybe selecting the touchpad from the dropdown). They are supported by Xfce 4.10.
Do you have a synaptics touchpad option in the dropdown? Is your touchpad being recognized by X?
That's exactly what I was expecting to see.. Anyway, ended up going back to Debian Sid. I missed Arch but life's gotten in the way from letting me get it set up properly.

After downloading album covers (some not found) itunes does not show most of the covers.

After downloading album covers into iTunes iTunes does not show most of the covers. It showas blank white boxes except for those where "cover not found" (music notes).
You have any idea how this happens, perhaps with location of the files.

iTunes refuses to play/read file, it cannot recognizes headers, or recognizes those as corrupt, but giving no error messages. The problem is the stored artwork(s) on your music files. To correct this, select the files that are corrupted/cannot be played on iTunes&iPod, click "Convert ID3 Tags...", then select v1.1 from the dropdown box (first, try this on a few to see that my solution is working).
By doing so, iTunes replaces headers, but your ID3 tags will not be changed (I assume you are using ID3 v2.4), nor you'll lose any info or anything else. This works as a hotfix for those files. If you try to replace headers via another program, your information will be truncated, and any artwork stored will be deleted. So I recommend this one.
You'll see that iTunes cannot play most of the files that has artwork(s) stored in them. New version hasn't fixed this problem, and it has risen with iTunes 8.2.x. If it's going to take long, I suggest you should go back to 8.1.x.

Text field not showing record set options

I entered the following php code to a text field in a form:

I do have it showing in the sidebar showing as a repeating region. I commented it out and entered your code, but this time it shows nothing at all, not even an error!
The problem may have to do with "VIEWS" as I am working partly with Views on the external server. The server guys are having problems allowing Views. They did allow it for my account, but somehow this is not working. So I update my database leaving out the 3 tables created as views out of a total of 8. On the contrary on the local server the database is working fine, so that may not be the problem after all.
I had got it work a fortnight back, but lost it as I had to redo a few things with the forms it is in. On the sidebar it is working fine otherwise as a repeating region and showing all the dates of all itineraries. Only it's not working in the form, where it shows the preselected string (select your preferred travel date), but not the rest of the options.
About changing the email, one has to change the whole ID and profile etc. and then you can't log into your own account with the same user name, you have to have a different one, so that your own thread is no longer your own. What a pile of goons at the wheels! And what a disappointment with otherwise such a great bunch of forums.. I'll now have to contact the staff and would like them wipe out all my ID's and Profiles at Adobe and make a new one. It's such a rotten mess. This thing even ruined my ID at Adobe Browser Lab.
I suppose we'll leave it for Mr. Nobody to fix it, like so many other things especially around Christmas!

Itunes 10.2.1 does not show remote speakers option

I have been having a strange issue on one of my laptops. I have two laptops - one with Windows 7 64bit and Windows XP 32 bit. On both laptops, I was able to connect to the airport express to stream music to my home theater (receiver) till a few months back. Both have the latest version of Itunes - 10.2.1. Now, the Windows 7 laptop continues to work fine but the Windows XP laptop is having problems. *Itunes does not show the remote speaker option. The airport utility does not recognize the airport express.* In the Windows Firewall exceptions, there are entries for Bonjour (port 5353 UDP), Bonjour Service (mDNSresponder.exe) and Itunes.exe and all are checked. Even if I disable firewall, it does not resolve anything.
The airport express is connected through an ethernet cable to the Belkin Wireless N router. The wireless mode for the airport express is switched off. The firmware on the airport express is version 6.3.
Few differences between the two laptops
Windows XP: I use a Belking Wireless N Notebook card to connect to the Belkin Wireless N Router. Antivirus is "McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + Antispyware Enterprise 8.7.0i"
Windows 7: I use the inbuilt wireless to connect to the same router. Antivirus is "ESET Smart Security 4.0"
Can someone help? I have researched the forum and tried the following things but still does not help.
1. Tried uninstalling Itunes and Airport Utility and reinstalling
2. Tried disabling Windows Firewall

I solved my problem I tried several other programs to play my music and since nothing seemed to work, i started deleting other software from my computer and apparently Uniblue's RegistryBooster was the one that caused the problem. Now able to enjoy music from my computer again

OWB is not showing some default options like contol center,import/export

Oracle (11.2.0.1.0) databse is installed on linux.
it is successfully installed on linx.
when i am trying to login to OWB GUI with owbowner/owbwoner.it is opend successfully.
1)when i right click on that 'MY_PROJECT' it is not showing any options like NEW,validate,import/export .
2)Under TOOL tab,control centre is not showing
3)Under TOOL tab,in preferences,it not showing OWB Environment properties
Like this way lot of default options are not showing.
Can anybody help on this issuue........?

Finder option not showing all the options

Hi, the finder option in MAC shows "mobile partner" when plugged on to internet...it does not show other options like folder, documents, drives etc. Can anyone please tell me how to access these drives and folders through finder when the internet is ON.

Flash Player Settings do not show me all options

Well first of all my information.
     Flash Player version: 11.9.900.117
     My OS                     : Windows 8 (64-bit)
     Browser                   : Firefox
I am trying to use this website here: http://coursework.wsistudents.com/lms/lms.aspx (You cannot open this page). It needs Flash Player and I need to change some settings. But when I pull up the settings it does not show me the tabs like Local Storage or Privacy. I then tried to add the webpage manually but it does not like the URL of the website and does not save it.
Does anybody know what I have to do? It works fine under Windows 7 but I am really struggeling here.

Alright thank you. Now I am able to add "coursework.wsistudents.com" to the list. I also was able to change the amount of Local Storage the website can use. But it still does not accept that this website is allowed to use the microphone. Everytime I try and use it there is the error that the website is not allowed to use the microphone.
As you can see I added the website and it says it is allowed to use it. But at the end it does not "realize" it...
Here is a picture of the settings it gives me. Earlier on Windows 7 there were more options which I cannot see here.

1. No, there isn't.
2. I don't think so, though I'm not 100% certain. I believe the designers assumed that if you have your display open, (a) you want it to operate, and therefore (b) you want it to self-adjust its brightness for ambient light conditions, as it normally does when operating.
If you don't want the display open, you must operate the machine in clamshell mode, following all the instructions in the article you referenced. It isn't possible to start the machine up from a cold shutdown with its display closed.
If you don't want to use an external keyboard and mouse, and therefore can't use clamshell mode, you will just have to turn the backlight level down after each time you start the computer. That takes one second to do with the F1 key, so it shouldn't be too much of a bother. You could eliminate it by putting the computer to sleep instead of shutting it down. Each shutdown-and-startup process takes at least a full minute, so skipping it would save you far more time than finding a way to start the machine up with its display off. The machine also wakes from sleep far faster than it starts up from shutdown, and it remembers its display brightness setting when doing so.

CC not showing as Upgrade option

I have a single App CC subscrition for CS6, but CC not showing as an upgrade in Help / Upgrades Menu.

The advice above wont solve your issue.
There is no 'upgrade' option for CS6 to CC. I have been down this avenue alot myself.
It seems the only way to 'upgrade' is to manually uninstall CS6 then use the CC app to install your new app, being both extremely time consuming and using up plenty of bandwidth.

Video preview does not show a quicktime option

My main videos are going to YouTube and I would like my preview in Premiere Pro CC to be quicktime so I can edit correctly to the format. Under New Sequence Settings it does not give me that option. Is there something I need to manually install?

What platform are you on? QuickTime is available as the Preview File Format [PFF] only on Mac.
In general, the PFF is not critical the final encoded output, but there are a couple exceptions. So I'm interested curious about why you feel it's important to have the PFF match your eventual export format.
Also, my understanding is that the preferred format for YouTube is h.264, not QuickTime. I haven't studied YouTube's recommendations/requirements, but I know for a fact that the format for all YouTube presets is h.264.

OIM - How To not show the "Disable" option for a Resource object to a group

Hello there,
Is there anyway we can remove or don't show the option to "Disable" a already provisioned resource object ?
I have a requirement over here wherein there is no reason available to show the "disable" option out of the 3 available - "enable", "disable" and "revoke" for an already provisioned RO.
How can we remove it ? We don't want users belonging to a specific group see that option, at all.
Is there any menu item associated with it ? or is there any other way we can configure it ?
Please advise to the earliest.

Modify JSP:
And to do this just for a particular group, put your java code in JSP itself. This is the easiest approach.
Otherwise you can modify the action class to return two action forwards and then use two different JSP's.
