Xfi2 just wont show pictures inside the player!

My pictures dont appear in my crapy zen xfi 2. They are inside the player, but it wont show. HELP! I tryed everything!
4 months wit this player and SO MANY PROBLEMS AND SO MANY SCANNINGS!!! Shame on you creative. THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU SEE MY MONEY!!! Just fired all programmers if u whant your reputation back.
Today I found that if I have less then 30mb free, the player wont start !? Always surprising negati'velly!!!

Sorry about your ZEN X-Fi2, may I know if this happened out of the blue with all pictures or is this just happening to a particular set of pictures? This player supports JPEG, BMP formats. TIFF, GIF, PNG has to be converted with the bundled software.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue.

My external hard drive wont show up in the "Save to:" menu when I try to import videos

My old external broke so I found my old one and plugged it in and went to import some videos on imove from an sd card but my external hard drive wont show up on the "save to:" drop down menu. I've been on utility disk to try and repair disk permission but I can't because the button isn't lit up. I can only click on verify disk or repair disk. I tried both of these but it still wont come on the drop down menu. It is showing up on the left in the event library but it has a little yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark in it.

How can I put pictures inside the table in Pages for IPad? I can do that in Pages in my macbook, but I can't in IPad.

It would appear that unless you are working from a document that already had section breaks (or the equivilent) ,you can't. I have some files in pages that began as MS Word documents with multiple sections that allow that by tapping on the footer (or header) and making the change. Files created in Pages (or from other sources but without section beaks) do not.

If you mean finding your IP address you have to enter the router's settings via a web browser. and go to the Status page. It will likely be under the heading Internet Port. Then you can Google for:
who owns XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
where the x's is the IP address.

If you pull down the centre of the iPad's homescreen (not from right at the top of the screen as that will open notifications) to open the search field, if you type in the name of the audiobook or the name of the author does that find it ?

I can't type my passcode for some app because the keyboard just wont show. Is this another flaw? Can some 1 give me a solution for this?

It used to work as soon as i restarted my router but after an hour the iPod or perhaps the router,wont let me acces the appstore or itunes or the games center...
Its my first iPod and i guess i didnt configured the router´s w-lan well or something...I restored the Pod,I did all 4 steps in the support twice and i reinstalled my routers software+firmware but now im running out of ideas to solve this problem...(used to solve´em myself)

Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall for the network problem.
Also for the original problem try the following if Ana's suggestions does not work
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Ok I havent cleared out my SMS conversations in a long time. so i have month old conversations. I was lookin back at a few convos and there were pictures people have sent me, but I cant view them. It shows the little arrow icon but it wont show the picture..

I would next try connecing the iPhone to the wall charger that came with it, and resetting the device:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If your device stops responding, you can reset it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
When the reset is done, it will still be in recovery mode, so connect it to iTunes and continue with the restore.

---URGENT---My Camera JUST stopped showing up in the iPhoto Library...

I usually import photos once a month or more into my library, so I decided to import photos today... especially since I need to get a certain photo on my computer to email to someone BY TONIGHT- and even though my camera usually works fine with the program, today it didn't even show up in the sidebar, or even ASK me to import...

-My iphoto is '08

No go.
- The camera shows up in System Profiler.
- The camera works fine to import photos on my MacBook Pro which is running Leopard, not Snow Leopard.
- On my Mac Pro w/Snow Leopard 10.6.1, and a fresh install from the original iLife 08 DVD, as soon as I turn the camera to the "connect to computer" setting, iPhoto 08 launches but goes into a loop with that Type4Camera.app app crashing.
- Same thing happens with Image Capture.
- No relief from deleting all plists having to do with iPhoto, Type4Camera, and Image Capture and reinstalling iPhoto.
Definitely a Snow Leopard problem.

Getting External Apps to show up inside the Portal

I am able to login a user in an external
app. Is there a way that the app opens up
in the same window(inside the portal would be even better) as the Portal ? Currently, it
pops up in a new window. Can I change the code which builds the external apps list (wishful thinking here)

Safari Wont show up under the Browsers Setting

Safari will not show up under the browsers tab. I tried Reinstalling Safari and it did not work, I also tried to Install iCloud over the fresh install and that didnt work either. What can I do to fix this. I need my reading list.

You should check that the songs have album name info in their ID tags.
See: Some songs don't don't show under artist on my iPod.
