Xfinity Connect App issues

I have the connect app installed on my iPad and iPhone.  The iPhone app works great however the iPad app has issues connecting.  With both devices connected to my wi-fi, several emails on the iPad app fail to show up. Then it resumes operating again.  All emails are retained on my host computer and iPhone connect app.   Any ideas on a fix?   Can I run this app on two mobile devices for same email account? thanks

Well, the Xfinity Connect App is the emailApp, not the TV app. You are correct, that the Xfinity TV app will probably not work overseas. In some cases, it wont't allow you to watch programming if you are outside your own home network, depending on the programming.
So if you are looking to watch TV shows while you are overseas, I think you will be out of luck, but you should be  able to get your email...

    I cannot send and apparently cannot receive text messages using the Xfinity Connect app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The Voice2go function works great. When I try to send a text, I receive the following message, “We cannot find your text messages. Please check back later. Logging out and back in to the app may resolve the issue. If the problem persists, please contact Customer Care through the help section in Settings or call 1-800-COMCAST.” Any suggestions?

    Take it to a VZ store (or call CS) to get assistance. Can't advise you on jailbreaking...and chances are your post will be edited because of the mention. As far as the texting goes...is it doing this with every number you try to text? Is it only certain numbers? Have you tried resetting your iPhone to see if that helps? Restoring? *228 option 2? Those are the first things that will likely be done wihen talking to a tech support person...so you might want to try those things first. Now if it's only certain numbers that this is occurring with...is it possible that the number you are texting is disconnected? I know (now) that if it's a VZ customer and their phone is disconnected (even temporarily) that any attempts at texting them will give you the red error on your end. Of course, this might not be the issue in your case but any possibility doesn't hurt being mentioned.

    I have an iPhone 6 and want to download email attache photos emailed to the iPhone's Xfinity Connect App. I can see the links and photos from the App but don't know how to put them into iPhoto or as a desktop picture. I can do it by using Apple's email program but don't want to turn on since Connect has more features for me.

    Photos from Comcast Connect email cannot be transferred to the iPhone camera roll. Text the JPG to the iPhone and then transfer to the camera roll for use.

    can not login to xfinity home application. I am getting a login error "We've encoutered an error. Please try again. [43401] I have been getting this message for about 2 weeks and the issue has not been resolved.  My router is connected and I have no connection alerts on my touchscreen. 

  • Excite Pro and XFinity Player App

    I have worked with Comcast support to no avail.  I own several other Toshiba tablets (THRiVE and Excite 300SE) and have no issues with the XFinity Player app.  However, on the Excite Pro, I am unable to receive "autorhization" to stream videos. 
    On the Excite Pro I am able to download videos from the XFinity Player app.  However, they will not play properly.  The screen alternates between future/past frames and will not sync.
    I have no issues with NetFlix, HBO Go, WatchESPN, YouTube, etc.

    It turns out that while I had never launched Kaspersky, it was forcing the WiFi connections to go through its proxy.  This proxy was preventing the app from authorizing with my account.
    After uninstalling Kaspersky, all is well.....  It only took my 4 months to stumble across this.

    I have recently installed App Controller 2012 R2 on a new VM. We are already using SCVMM 2012 R2 with Update Rollup 4.
    I'm logged-in on the App Controller website with the service account of App Controller/SCVMM.
    Now when I'm trying to connect App Controller to SCVMM server, it gives the following error:
    "Category: Critical
    Description: Connection attempt to the target system failed.
    Details: Category: Critical
    Message: 553–RegistryInvalidValue
    Description: The type or name syntax of the registry key value IndigoTcpPort under Software\Microsoft\Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager Administrator Console\Settings is incorrect."
    I'm correctly entering the complete FQDN of my VMM management server, and the default port: 8100.
    Need help please.

  • Camileo X Sports - wifi connect app doesn't work

    Got this as i thought it was as good as the gopro 3+ black and to be fair even thought its bigger it is as good.
    the camera is spot on but feel its let down by the toshiba wifi connect app that you have to use to down load video.
    I use the camera on my motorbike and 20 miniutes or so of video.... come home go to download video using the app and it wont work ... down load failed
    Anyone have the same problem or is it just me ?

    What Android version did you try?
    As far as I know the app works perfectly with Android 4.4 "KitKat" but some people reported issues with the Android 5 “Lollipop”… but this app issue could be fixed only by app developer.

    I have defined sufficient read connections (50) in the toplink configuration, I am finding toplink is not releasing the connections in Mysql, this is when run from Jboss App server.
    Is anyone aware of toplink connection pool issues with MySql?

    TopLink always closes connections, I cannot see how this could occur.
    Please include your persistence.xml or sessions.xml. Also ensure you are closing your EntityManager or ClientSession, especially if using exclusive connections.

  • Keynote remote will not pair with ipad after update to 10.7.2-bluetooth issue or remote app issue?

    Noticed keynote remote will not pair after updating.  Bluetooth light flashes a couple of times then goes off.  I'm wondering if it's a bluetooth issue or a keynote remote app issue.

    I've tried all the things recommended in the Apple KB article, and it doesn't work.  Mulderscully is right, in the recent iOS 5 upgrade, Bluetooth is not turned on (at least, its symbol is not visible) from within Keynote even if you turned it on in the Settings menu.  Posts in another thread recommended using another app to establish a Bluetooth connection between the iPad and iPod (I used Touch Rummy), then switching back to Keynote and Keynote Remote.  This does work for me, but it is an awkward workaround.  Shouldn't 'It just work'?

  • Xfinity TV APP Freezing

    Anyone experiencing freezing with the Xfinity TV App? The playback runs fine for about 5 minutes then freezes. If stop and start the video, it works fine again for a short amount of time but then freezes again.
