Home app not working error 11311
My Xfinity Home app is not working. Will not allow us to disarm the system. Tried to disarm from my smartphone, would not work, tried to disarm from my husbands phone, same problem, would not disarm. Get the same error message, 11311. Unable to determine if the home is armed or not while away from home. Can manually arm to leave but not able to disarm when returning home or determine if a breach were to happen if we would be notified.
Hi everyone, I was able to fix the problem after several days of it not working. I have a Comcast Security Netgear Router. (I have my own modem, so Comcast needed to install the Router to get Home Security working.) I unplugged the power plug on the router from a power strip and then plugged it directly into the wall. This solved both the 11311 arm/disarm issue as well as Camera connectivity issue (camera not connection to the app or on website). For some reason simply rebooting by turing power on and off did not seem to help, but disconnecting it from the power strip and plugging it in directly to a wall outlet did. (I read something like this on another forum thread....I don't understand why this would make a difference but it did.) I hope this works for others.

I can't access my xfinity email on my I phone
Hi barbaraamodio -
You are posting to the Xfinity Home Security Mobile App section of the Help Forum. Are you a current subscriber of this service? Are you trying to log into the Xfinity Home app or are you trying to access your @comcast.net email?
Thanks!

Youtube app not working "error tap to retry" on ipad 4. Tried holding home button and off together and delete and download agin both didn't work
Oh phooey. I had the same problem, so I decided to delete and reinstall. Only to discover that Google's YouTube app no longer supports anything below iOS 6. This is a problem since I'm running an original iPad.
Yes, I realize that my version of iOS still has the old YouTube app. But it's not the same. For one thing there are a lot of ad-supported videos that will only play in the new app. -
Error in the source systen with app log in source system

Event ID 8365, app log error, source MSExchangeAL
I had this error show up in my app log early this morning:
Event ID 8365, source MSExchangeAL, text "Could not read the Security Descriptor from the Exchange Server object with guid=B661C17D309B914BB1AC85C1CFF9ADD8. As a result the Proxy Address Calculation RPC interface will not be available on the local Exchange Server."
I'm not sure if I should be concerned about this or not. I only have one Exchange Server, and it has a different guid. It's possible that the above-referenced guid belongs to the old Exchange 2003 server I migrated from and subsequently decommissioned, but I can't tell because that object doesn't exist in AD anymore (at least as far as I can tell). Is there a way to search for a guid and find out what object it's attached to?I'm getting an event ID 8365 error in the app log on my Win Server 2008 R2 Std Edition server running Exchange Server 2010 Standard Edition. The Exchange organization was migrated from Exchange 2003, and the 2003 server has since been decommissioned.
The source for this error is MSExchangeAL, and the text associated with it is "Could not read the Security Descriptor from the Exchange Server object with guid=B661C17D309B914BB1AC85C1CFF9ADD8. As a result the Proxy Address Calculation RPC interface will
not be available on the local Exchange Server." The error occurs every few days, sometimes a couple times in one day, but I haven't discerned a pattern yet. I'd love to find out what that guid refers to, but can't figure out how to look that up,
so if anyone can enlighten me about that, I think that'd help. Of course, a solution to the whole issue would be great too. Thanks. -
Anyone experiencing freezing with the Xfinity TV App? The playback runs fine for about 5 minutes then freezes. If stop and start the video, it works fine again for a short amount of time but then freezes again.

My Xfinity TV App only shows "For You" under "Saved" and does not give me any DVR recording options to download. I can watch any tv channel and it says I am connected to my home network. I can also access my DVR from the web portal. I have tried deleting the app and redownloading, clearing the cache and data, and logging out and logging in. Do I not have access to the cloud DVR services? How would I know?Cloud is currently enabled in only a handful of markets... For cloud access, you must call into Comcast and request the Cloud rate code to be added to your account.... the CSR shoudl be able to tell you if Cloud is enabled for your lcoation. You will know you have it enabled because a Terms & Conditions screen will pop up on your DVR's TV screen and you must accept those terms before cloud will work... Additinaly, if you navigate to xtv.comxast.net, the Terms & Conditions acceptance box ill be htere each time you visit it. -

Our XML Publisher TMP is not defined, so it uses the APPLTMP used by concurrent manager. There is a folder xdofonts/<SID> in $APPLTMP. It contains the fonts used by XML publisher and on the of font file (.ttf) was 0 byte. We copied the ttf file from QA. And it started working.
Best practice is to define diffent TMP for concurrent managers and XML Publisher.

Failed to add app with security error related with c2wts
Right now, we are facing some weird issue when adding our app to customer's SharePoint site. When site collection admin clicks our app to add it, he would get a popup page with title "Access Required" and message "Sorry, you
don't have access to this page", however he is already site collection admin.
At the SharePoint logs, we saw the following exceptions:

Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: WTS0003: The caller is not authorized to access the service. I did some reading over the SharePoint code and also searched over internet, I found out this link:
Adding App Causes Security Error where the similar error is thrown as well and he fixed the issue by reconfiguring the c2wts services. His issue is slightly different from mine. In his case, end users won't be able to add in the first time
and they would get "You Can't Add This App Here" message while in our case the error is thrown during adding the app.
Why we would need the c2wts services here for adding an app if user is already logged in SharePoint via windows authentication? Could someone confirm that would be the root cause for this failure since I also see the stack related " at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPAppPrincipalPermissionsManager.UpdateAppOnlyPolicy(SPAppPrincipalInfo
appPrincipal, Boolean allowAppOnlyPolicy)", just wonder if AppOnlyPolicy=true which our app requires has anything to do with this as well. Again, I could not find anything related article about that specific configuration is required to allow app with
AppOnlyPolicy.
Another weird thing is that it only happens at sites with managed path. At root site, the app could be added without any problem.
Any suggestions are highly welcome and really appreciated. This is on a big customer. :-) Thanks in advance for your insights. This issue can occur when you change the name of the "Application Name" within Visual Studio, then deploy to BizTalk with the new name. Problems is the DLLs are still assocaited with that earlier deployment name in BizTalk. So go into BizTalk
Admin Console, then navigate to: BizTalk Group - Applications - Then for each application check the "Resources" folder. Under one of these folders you should see your DLLs are already assigned to one of these other BTS apps. So you need to
delete the resources from the app (or delete the other apps) then your new deployment name will work.
