Cannot activate CS6 because I did not activate it within required 7 day period [was: Please help]
I recently bought Creative Suit-CS6, however, I didn't install/activate it within the required 7 day period. This is preventing me from being a able activate it. Any suggestions?
First launch means exactly that: after installation, when you first launch the product to use it for the first time.
Most people install and activate at the same time so there's no issue with 7 days.
The 7 day period is just a grace period really. For example, you might have installed the software with no internet connection. So Adobe allows up to a week for activation and you can use the software in that time.
I've been trying a numerous amount of times to activate my software through entering the product code (as instructed) but it is stating that it's unreconizible or invalid.
Your real issue seems to be that your serial number is being rejected. Are you really entering the correct serial number? The serial number is not the product code.

You have one of those uncommon hardware RAID scsi
controllers in your system. In fact, I've never seen it
in any Sun system except the E450's.
It was the reference to DPTE that gave it away.
The x6542a RAID Controller, a.k.a. SRC/P card, has a
cache battery as an integral part of the card.
That battery is not a separate replaceable part.
It has a Sun part number, but I don't remember it ever
stocked as a separate part.
The RAID card was discontinued many many years ago.
Here's a link to a drawing of that RAID controller

Unless you have a service contract on that old but very
productive computer, I see two choices. You can get
an equally old replacement from an online auction site
( such as Ebay ), or you can begin to plan to replace
your hardware RAID configuration with a simple
SCSI card and a software RAID config.
Hmmmmm........ Then again, if you are extremely
creative and handy, you could find some way to use
a generic NiMH replacement for the battery.

When i tried to establish HS connectivity from oracle 8i with MSaccess
i get one error.
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-28509: unable to establish a connection to non-Oracle system
ORA-02063: preceding line from LINK1
The steps i did,
1. Create initmsaccess.ora in orahome/hs/admin directory
HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = MSACCESS -> ODBC Name. I tested in Microsoft OBBC. Its Working.
HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = DEBUG
2. Add following entries in listener.ora ->/orahome/network/admin directory

4. In lsnrctl, stop and start the listener. it displayed successfully .
5. Issue tnsping for both database. It displayed
attempting to contact (Address=(..........) OK (200msec)
6. I created a database link
create database link link1 using 'msaccess'
7. when i issue select command im getting this error.

I tried same steps in one oracle 9i system. It working properly. But my requirement from oracle 8i.

I suspect that you do not have Hetrogeneous Services installed - it is included by default on Oracle 9i. If you do not have the database view SYS.HS_FDS_CLASS, then you need to run 'caths.sql'.

Illustrator Installation Error! Please Help!
Toward the last section of download - I get this error message
"One or more required components of adobe illustrator CS4 failed to install correctly"
I have tried turning my firewall/anti virus off.
Closing down all unnecessary programs & Restarted my computer.
None of this has worked.. My pc meets all the requirements for the software..Please HELP!!If you had your firewall and virus protection on at some point when attempting to install on a previous attempt you may now have a hard time doing so even though you have now shut them off.
It was not wise to do so in the first place.
Probably the permissions have been altered and you will not be able to install these components as the directories are probably set to either no access or read only.
I do no know how one would repair the permission on PC though I believe you have to use the control panel to access each directory and change it that way. I did it onceand it work but I do not really recall what part of the control panel I had to access.
You can try create a new account and then logging into that account makeing certain the firewall and virus protection and any other protective softwae is off and the reinstalling there.

Hi. My itunes library is in current 10.5.2 but my old ipod touch 4th or 3rd gen is not updating at all its still in current 4.2 and there is some apps i cant download that requires a 4.3 update but in my itunes it wont. Please help!
Are you sure you have a 4g/3g iPod? If you don't have a camera, it's definitely not 4G. If it has no camera and is 8 or 16 Gb it is a 2G and can't go beyond 4.2.1.

Yes the phone belongs to me. It was purchased from United Kingdom Vodafone to West Africa, i had to factory unlock to use any sim in it. so it belongs to me. I did the activation myself, now after updating my iphone to the latest update, it required a user id and password to activate the phone, but anytime i enter the details, it tells me the user Id is not correct but the password is correct..

So when I plugged in my iPhone 4 (iOS 7.0.4), iTunes told me it needed to update to the newest version... so I did. After installing it it gave me an error (-45019) that said that a required component wasn't installed. I looked it up and people were saying to unistall iTunes and all apple related software and reinstall itunes which i did. I am on Windows 8.1.
Now it gives me this error. "Apple Application Support was not found. Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please unistall iTunes and install iTunes again. Error 2 (Windows Error 2)." I did this and it gave me the same message... Please help! How do i get iTunes running again?Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.

No you will not lose your content reinstalling iTunes.
Do this:
1: Download and run the Registry Cleaner of the free Ccleaner.

4: Reinstall iTunes.

You need to repair your computer so it can run iTunes. If you plug those error codes into your browser you may get an answer. -
