XI and IDOC numbers

Hi,
we have the following scenario:
SAP(IDOC)->XI(IDOC)->Third Party(IDOC)
XI receives the SAP-IDOCs and creates automatically a new XI-IDOC number and sends the XI-IDOC to the third party system.
If a problem is coming up, SAP user and Third Party user have problems to find the correct IDOC, because the numbers are different (SAP IDOC number vs. XI IDOC number).
Is there a way to prevent XI from creating a new IDOC number? XI should use the SAP-IDOC number that is coming within the IDOC.

Hi Christian,
You cannot switch off the creation of an IDOC when XI sends it to a receiving system. This is for XI to store the IDOC uniquely with an IDOC number in the XI system.
To cross reference the XI IDOC number to the Original Idoc number of the sending system, the table entries in the table IDXRCVPOR can be used. The field IDOCNUMBER in the table has the XI idoc number & the field SNDLAD has the idoc number of the sending system.

Where as EDIDD is the structure. Can you explain me the tables involved in retrieving the BP numbers for a particular IDOC number associated to message type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M?

BADI_BUILD_MESSAGE + IDOC numbers required

I am setting up an alert notificatio in solution manager for IDOCs. It is working fine. But the requirement is to extend the functionality and add idoc numbers also in the same mail alert. I found a BADI "BADI_BUILD_MESSAGE" for this purpose.
Please help me to suggest if this is the correct BADI and also where(in which parameter of the badi) will I find the IDOC numbers. I could not find the source of the IDOC numbers as this is running in background system.

Logic to update the table with IDOC numbers

Hi all,
I have an issue while I am running my interface. The IDOCs are getting generated and are displaying in WE02 successfully. But in my logic, I have a requirement to update these created IDOCs in a customized database table. This table has the IDOC number as the first key field.
Now the issue is that when a file is placed on the FTP server with the data, the IDOCs get generated with no doubt but the table is not getting updated with these IDOC numbers due to which my other data is also not seen in my table.
Please help with the logic that I need to place to update these IDOC numbers in my table.

Also, this is happening when the file is placed. But when i run it manually through WE19 one by one, it has no problem. When it collectively run thorugh the file in background, this issue is ocuuring. Please help.

Idoc numbers for a certain output in Sales Orders

I have more than hundred Sales Order
One EDI output was triggered (with a unique partner type) from each of these Sales Orders.
How to find idoc numbers for all these Sales Order for this particular output?
I tried WE09 giving Segment and field with value....two issues with this. first is it is not working for me...not records found.
Secondly It take one value at a time. I can't do this for every Sales Order
Is there any database table or something else to find these idocs?

if this special partner type is the partner type of the IDoc receiver, then you can search for relevant IDocs in transaction WE02.
If you need a partner type out of the sales order data, then it is stored in table EDID4 "IDoc Data Records".

IDocs are simple ASCII data streams. When they are stored to a disk file, the IDocs are simple flat files with lines of text, where the lines are structured into data fields. The typical structured file has records, each record starting with a leading string that identifies the record type. Their specification is stored in the data dictionary.
Electronic Interchange Document
IDocs is the acronym for Interchange Document. This indicates a set of (electronic) information which builds a logical entity. An IDoc is e.g. all the data of a single customer in your customer master data file, or the IDoc is all the data of a single invoice.
Data Is transmitted in ASCII format, i.e. human readable form
IDoc data is usually exchanged between systems and partners that are completely independent. Therefore, the data should be transmitted in a format that can easily be corrected by the computer operators. It is therefore mandatory to post the data in a human readable form.
Nowadays, this means that data is coded in ASCII format, including numbers which are sent as a string of figures 0 to 9. Such data can easily be read with any text editor on any computer, be it a PC, Macintosh, UNIX System, S/390 or any internet browser.
IDocs exchange messages
The information which is exchanged by IDocs is called a message and the IDoc is the physical representation of such a message. The name messages for the information sent via IDocs is used in the same ways as other EDI standards. .

In order to print the document, the SAP system runs a program that collects the data for the document and feeds it into the layout set. This is called as Print Program.
SAP Provides a standard layout set for every printable document and usually there is no need to create layout sets as such. User just modifies the existing layout sets as per requirement of client.

need to extract IDOCs numbers of a lot of IDOCs which run on a mapping error and
have been stopped in sxmb_moni. Is there a possibility to extract the IDOCs numbers as
as a list? We have XI 3.0.

Thanks but that doesn't give me the information I need. I am putting an email on my ipod for people to contact me for iMessage and FaceTime but when I put the email in, it gives me an error saying that the email cannot be veirified because it is already in use. My Apple ID can be varified, just not the email that they will contact me with.

Two changes from the previous example:
COUNTIFS is used to separate the Native and Foreign counts as well as the age range to be counted.
The amount subtracted from each result is the SUM of the earlier results, and includes the text value in the first cell of the column (which is interpreted by SUM as a zero).

When the greyed columns are hidden and the checkbox in the Reorganize pane is checked, the two tables will appear as shown below:
Close the reorganize pane, and the 'data entry form' is ready to use.
To use, enter the age first, then check one of the boxes.
As soon as one box is checked, the row will be hidden, and the next (unused) row will be shown.

Note regarding formula in my earlier post:
The earlier formula will give erroneous results as it subtracts only the count directly above it from its count of persons in the age range 0-n.
In E2 of that table, replace "-E1" with "-SUM(E1:E$1)
Fill down to E8.
Ignore the instructions (in that post) following "Fill down to E8."

I used the disc and track numbers of get info in iTunes, and I would like to have my CDs separate like if they are 3 CDs on my iPod Classic rather then having a big long list of songs, but after using the disc and track numbers, I still don't see on my iPod which one is CD1, and etc. I took a screenshot of my iTunes. How could I have my CDs separate just like the originals?

How can I read the bootstrap files of any HDS Live stream and extract the fragment-URLs and fragment-numbers in plain text?
Could it be that it is some kind of compressed format in the bootstrap? Can I uncompress it wirh f4fpackager.exe? Could not find any download for f4fpackager.exe. I would prefere less code to do so. Is there something in Java of JavaScript, that can extract the fragment-numbers?

Doesn't sound too hard to me. Your class User (the convention says to capitalize class names) will have an ArrayList or Vector in it to represent the queue, and a method to store a Packet object into the List. An array or ArrayList or Vector will hold the 10 user objects. You will find the right user object from packet.user_id and call the method.
Please try to write some code yourself. You won't learn anything from having someone else write it for you. Look at sample code using ArrayList and Vector, there's plenty out there. Post in the forum again if your code turns out not to behave.

Why can't iPhoto, Pages, Numbers, Keynote and iMovie access my iTunes Library files and Pages, Numbers, Keynote and iMovie access my iPhoto Library files now that I upgraded to '11?
Examples of what is going on:
1. In Pages, Numbers & Keynote, when I go to the media browser the Audio section reads "Open iTunes to populate this list" even after iTunes has been opened, .xml file has been replaced/repaired, etc AND Photo section reads "Open iPhoto to see photos from your iPhoto Library in this list" even after iPhoto Library has been replaced and new default library created.
2. In iMovie, similar thing ... when I go to add photos or music to a movie the iTunes files aren't present and the iPhoto photos are missing with similar messages as in #1.
3. In iPhoto, similar thing ... when I go to add music to a slideshow it says to "Open iTunes to populate this list".
It is shocking to me that Apple would let something as simple as a pathway link to associated library files get this messed up on an upgrade, but what's even more surprising is that with the number of people who seem to be having this particular issue (and I can tell from all the research that I've done for weeks online that there are a lot of them) that there doesn't seem to be a single clear answer to fixing it anywhere on these community support forums. Most of what I've seen is rehashed advice from outdated issues. What I need is a simple answer to how do we get these programs to look for the correct location of the photo and music files because I sure can't seem to find any logical place to do that through the programs' preferences files or the system preferences window?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem on a new MacBook Pro. I have not been able to access the iTunes library from iPhoto since I got this computer. I looked in the Preferences file and deleted the com.apple.iApps.plist but there was no com.apple.iApps.lockfile so I just deleted the iAPPs.plist and rebooted the computer. Still no iTunes available in iPhoto.
All my music is in iTunes and plays. After reading the above I brought up Pages and I was able to access music and insert a track into a document.
Do you have any suggestions.
