Hello Marek,
I suppose you are not planning to do any kinds of advanced config using several VLANs and multiple SSIDs so let's just make your configuration simple and working.
In short, you need to remove all references to VLAN 1 and to any subinterfaces possibly related to the VLAN 1. This means in particular (follow these steps in sequence):
Remove the Dot11Radio0.1 subinterface entirely
In the Dot11Radio0 section, remove the encryption vlan 1 mode ciphers tkip command
In the dot11 ssid ciscowifi section, remove the vlan 1 command
After performing these steps, make sure that the ssid ciscowifi and encryption mode commands are still present in the Dot11Radio0 configuration, and if not, reenter them.

Preparing for CLAD exam with LV Basics I and II

This is my first post, so I want to say hello to all the users. I am currently preparing for CLAD exam. I participate in a course containing material from Core 1 and Core 2. I also have a CBT Labview Basics I and II kit. Does this CBT kit still cover all topics needed to pass this exam? It says that it`s almost 6 years old, so I want to ensure that it`s still worth of using it. Thanks for all the answers.

"Also be aware, I've spoken to quite a few CLAD exam takers in the last year and they all agree that the current CLAD exams are much harder and trickier than the sample exams here on ni.com. One taker for instance missed only one question the first time he took the sample CLAD exam but failed the actual exam by a couple questions. So make sure you're overprepared!"

LabView course basic 1 and basic 2

Hey,
I'm rather new to LabView and to get more experience in 'programming
LabView' I thought it may be some idea to go to the basic 1 and basic 2
course, provided by NI... (and in some time got and see the DAQ-course)
Anyone out there who took this course (these courses) ?
My basic topic is DAQ. (Not faster than 100 S/s at this moment). Before I
decide to follow this course it would be a good idea to find out if I
already got the experience I would get from this course. In that case it's a
waste of money of course.
Who can tell me what you really learn at Basic 1 and 2. Is it a waste of
money (and time)?
Perhaps it helps if I send some vi's I've created and tell them what they
do. (In separate e-mail)

I've taken both Basics I and II, and the LabVIEW DAQ course. In my case
they were worth it. I'm not sure if your situation is the same as mine,
though. My schedule is usually pretty full. So I was able to take these
courses and get up to a point where I could do all the basic functions in
one week. That was a big help. I might add that I'm an instructor by
trade, not a programmer, so I don't have years of C programming behind me.
Also, my company paid for the courses, which made my decision a lot easier!
Another benefit that really helped me is that the instructors really cared,
and offered to give me some help even after the course was over. I didn't
want to abuse this offer, so I was very careful in how much I asked of them,
but they both were more than
helpful. This is the kind of service that's
hard to find out there! Both instructors worked for National Instruments
Alliance Member companies. They were knowledgeable and serious about
ensuring I got my money's worth.
If you are already familiar with wiring VIs, then I would suggest that you
go to the NI web site and look at the detailed course outline for these
courses. If you are already familiar with what is covered in these courses,
then obviously you wouldn't gain much by taking them. If you need to learn
a lot of what is shown in the outlines, then there is no quicker way to get
up to speed.

init() comes into picture only in servlets !??That isn't what he said, that was just an example. The init() method is used by a lot of APIs, but all for the same basic principal:
The class will be instantiated (the constructor will be called), but the process the class represents may run right away. There may be more initialisation needed. The init() method is called after all initialisation is done, and before the process begins to run. Thus, if you want to prepare your class you use the init() method (so you know it will always occur after full initialisation and before execution).

need to right main() ?That is correct. You do not need a main() unless your app is a stand-alone application.

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. But you'll still need the password.
Once you have the computer authorized to use the account she could change the password again to stop you buying apps on her card (assuming it's not on yours!). It would lock you out of upgrading them too but they should work unless she uses the deathorize all feature.
It depends on how amicable the split is...

There are some keyboard commands (shortcuts) you can use instead of having to go to the Apple menu -
Control-Eject          This brings up the Restart-Sleep-Cancel-Shutdown window.
Command-Option-Eject          This puts the machine to sleep.
Command-Control-Eject          This closes all apps and restarts the machine.
Command-Option-Control-Eject          This closes all apps and shuts the machine down.

Setting up a new server - terminology and set up

I have a new mac OS X snow leopard mac mini server.
The set up is a follows:
The modem goes into the Time capsule router and from the time capsule there is the mac mini server and also a network printer. There are 4 other computers wirelessly 'attached' to the time capsule.
I am very confused about some of the terminology and the set up procedure.
First of all, I might have made a mistake when I did my initial setup without being attached properly to a public IP address. I set up my server inadvertently as hobbes.private. When I go to the server preferences now the DNS is listed as hobbes.private. First of all, is there anyway to change that?
The set up goes as follows:
I have a public IP address which is set at the router. From the router there is a designated IP address which goes to the server.
I have my A records and MX records set up.
my Domain name is hobbeswiki.com
the IP address is 114.160.205.178
When I do an NS lookup IP address, I get this:
Non-authoritative answer:

I've been told that this is normal.
I use a company in australia for my domain name and they have given me 2 name servers:
ns1.secure.net
ns2.secure.net
The router then takes the info and then gives me an IP address for the server
its a 10.X.X.X number.
When I set up my server properly with the IP address, it set up as hobbes.local and under available servers, under network in the server admin, it gives me
Ethernet (en0) Family IPv4 the 10.X IP address and the DNS name as hobbes.local
I tried setting up DNS but it won't take.
I don't know how to set up kerberos, but I want to get the functionality of the podcasting etc, but it tells me I need it.
I have an SSL certificate.
With all this info, how can I set this server up and do I need to start from scratch? Do I need to erase the current server and start from the beginning? Is this hobbes.private causing problems?
In the DNS settings there are just so many different names for different things and I'm not sure what goes where.
I have a lynda.com account, but I'm not sure their info is the same as mine and they have words like server.samplename.com etc...
Can someone help?
The web set up works and I've got a couple users and groups set up to try things out, so it's not a complete failure.... I just can't get anything else to work.

I have Lion as my current and main OS. Is it possible to partition part of my hard drive for Snow Leopard? I'm good on partitioning but when I insert the Snow Leopard install disk a message tells me I can't run the install program because I currently have Lion installed... obviously. Have I gone about this the wrong way? Do I need to boot the computer using the Snow Leopard install disk instead of my main HD?

Apple will never update that as for the most part it is true, and the fact that they really don't want you to run older OS X versions (for whatever reason).
Now this probably won't work with the next line of MBPs and MBAs that come out. But it is for the current builds.
But as I stated you need one of the lastest builds of SL for it to even boot the system.
It won't work with the retail 10.6.3 DVD disc. That version does not have the correct drivers for the newest Mac's.

Difference between Basic Component and Standard Component

Hi Iam just learning JSF, at the same time I try to learn to use Sun Java Studio Creator at the same time. May I know what is the difference between the Basic component and the Standard component in the IDE.
I have been using the Grid Panel, each time I need a header I manually t ype

in the JSP source code. How can I do this visually?

The Standard section in the Palette contains the JavaServer Faces reference implementation components. The IDE provides the standard components for backwards compatibility with projects that were built with earlier versions of the IDE. Because the standard components provide less functionality and require more programming, you should use the visual components from the other Palette sections.
I do not know the answer to your second question.

ALV GRID: How to change Subtotal and Main total values in standard row

Hi Experts,
By using SORT-SUBTOT = 'X' and FIELDCATALOG-DO_SUM    = 'X', I will get subtotal and Main total.
My requiremnt is I need be calculate values manually and pass the calculated values to subtotal and maintotal.
is it possible in ALV GRID?
By adding extra row we will do this but I am looking standard subtotal and maintotal row change.

With function REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY you cannot do this.
It´s possible if you create a class inherited from cl_gui_alv_grid and rewrite the method set_data_table, you can do this. Like:

Basic Start and Finish Date coming as default while Order Creation (IW31)

Hi Members,
I am in situation where in i am trying to cretae an order from IW31 but after the order creation basic start and basic finish date is being updated as default date which is the current date of creation.
I have written my code in Include LCOINFNJ where basic start and basic finish date should get populated as per my written code .After debugging i found that the code is populating the dates in structure CAUFVD-GSTRP(basic start date) and
CAUFVD-GLTRP(basic end date) but whill posting at user command SAVE the fields are getting updated back to default dates.
Even after adding an enhancement point at the end of below given FM where in i am hardcoding the values still the issue remains the same .
Function Module : CO_ZV_ORDER_POST is the FM responsible for posting.
Please help regarding this issue .

If you do not want start and finish date as current date then u can do it via config
spro ->pm -->maintenance order processing -->Maintenance and service orders -->general data -->Activate default date for current date as basic date here for a particular plant remove the tick mark in default current date , thus when u create MO on that plant then u will not get any default dates in basic start date and finish date ...

Problem in file association and main-class in JWS

I have a problem in JWS with file association and main-class. I have a java application that has two entry classes, one is appmain.class that is required to launch from web, and the other is player.class that is required to launch when user double-click the .abc extension file.
In JWS 5.0+, there is a association element in JNLP syntax that can be used to make the file association with .abc extension. But how can I declare the main-class in JNLP file?
If I declare the application-desc element as <application-desc main-class="player">, the player.class will be launched from web. But if I declare it as <application-desc main-class="appmain">, the .abc extension wil be associated to the appmain.class.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you for your kindly help.

to the other two, as appropriate. E.G. if the
web based main does not include -open as

Are you asking if you may copy TOC structures? If so, the answer falls into a huge gray area. You could certainly import a TOC into your project. But does the project the TOC was originally part of have the same topics in the same folder structure? If not, why would you go there?
