XI Content SRM SERVER 7
Hi all,
I'm having a problem with the SRM XI Content that I downloaded from the sap marketplace. I have already imported it in the IR. Problem is, there are no message mappings and interface mappings, only data types. From what I have read in the other threads, (SAP has provided standard business (integration) content for SRM whch can be downloaded rom service.sap.com if you have the proper license. In this Predefined Content you can find all the Integration scenarios,Interface mappings,Message mappings, outbound and inbound interfaces ..etc.every thing is in this content. ), it should be complete. Am I missing something?

No mapping object will be available in the SRM XI Content, only DT, MT and SI's or DT enhancement will be available, we had also downloaded the same SWC content before.

I'm trying to accomplish SRM-PI-CLM scenario in PI 7.1. I have already downloaded the .tpz (xi content) for SRM SERVER 7.0. Problem is there are no Operation Mappings (Interface Mapping) and no Message Mappings. How can I use the Data Types, the Message types and the Message Interfaces so that I can map them to CLM (E-Sourcing)?
Also, I tried creating a folder 'Message Mappings' but it was useless. It was just a folder. It did not have the features that I need for my message mappings.no need to edit since this is a SAP standard. I'll just create another SCV then copy the data types, message types and Message Interfaces that I need from the SRM SERVER 7.1 SCV

You can get the XI contents for SRM Server 6.0 under this URL:
https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/swdc
Support Packages and Patches -> SAP Application Components -> SAP SRM (WITH SAP EBP) -> SAP SRM 6.0 -> Entry by Component -> XI Content
But for this, you requires a valid marketplace user-id and password.
But according to my understanding, you can use the XI contents for SRM MDM Catalog 1.0 under SAP SRM 5.0 also.
The file name is SRMMDMCAT1000_2-20001719.ZIP.

1.) BI Content should be installed on SRM server or we have to use external BW system?
2.) We have configired SLD using RZ70. Do we need to check transaction SLDCHECK, If yes what is use?

是这样的。不过我建议还是查一查，BS 所安装的Product是基于TS，但是BS可以有选择性地安装SWCV。
看看SRM的contents所在的SWCV是否是Checked。
如果SLD一切都是正常的，那可能是Cache的问题。
那么在ID里配置场景时，就要首先清除SLD Cache， Environment u2192 Clear SLD Data Cache
这样就迫使ID去SLD重新读取最新数据。
为了保险起见，也可以把CPA Cache 更新：

Tcode to upload file to SRM Server.
Hi,
We have a requirement to upload file into application server and then read the data into internal table.
In ECC we can use the tcode CG3Y/CG3Z but this Tcode is not available in SRM Server,
Can anyone suggest corresponding tcode in SRM server to upload data into application server.

Help needed in SRM upgrade to SRM server 5.0
Experts,
My client is on EBP 2.0 and going for an upgrade to SRM Server 5.0 and working on classic scenario and keeping the backend as 4.6C for this phase of the project. Please share any experiences on how to go about the upgrade, any questionaries, methodologies also I would like to know the major differences between EBP 2.0 and SRM 5.0.

Issue in storing email & attachments in to content repository server.
Hi All,
We have done the following for storing email & attachments in to
content repository server.
Transaction - Activity done
1) OAC0 - Defined the content repository folder RQ
2) OACT - Created a category( ZSOFFHTTP1) and associated it to RQ
3) SKPR08 - Associated ZSOFFHTTP1 to SAP OFFICE Class SOFFPHIO
Also, updated the entry in the table SDOKPHCL against the record having
Docuclass value as SOFFPHIO and change the category value to ZSOFFHTTP1.
Now, we went to transaction SBWP and created a test message and sent
an email to ( recepient address) and recip type as
interent address.
But when we cross checked the entry in SOOD table for this email sent
today, we find that the value in the field is 'K' and not "A".
We have done all the steps as per the SAP Note 530792 still the issue
persists.
As per the sap note 904711,SOOD-EXTCT Storage <space> directly in table
SOC3
K using the KPRO
A in an archive
Any help on this , would be highly appreciated.

DivyaThanks for the answer, but my question was whether it is possible to store documents to an external content server using transaction OAOR (Business Document Navigator). Right now it is only possible to store documents to the R3 database with OAOR.

Where does Content Conversion Server fit in? Is it required to be installed first before you install any of the other components? (Records Management, UCM, etc.)
If you purchase UCM is Content Conversion Server included as well?Content Conversion Server is next generation Inbound Refinery (if you are familiar with that). It can run alone and it communicates to the content server through the provider interface. It is not required for UCM to install correctly. However, if you want thumbnailing, PDF Conversion, XML, TIFF, and the DAM conversion capabilities you need it.
Inbound Refinery does come with UCM but must be run on the same licensed CPU as UCM. This may be OK for test or dev instances but is not recommended for production. Therefore Content Conversion Server is able to be licensed separately from the other ECM software so it can run on / in its own environment.

Query Regarding Default Product category set up in SRM server
HI SAp Gurus,
Plesae note that I have created one dummy product category - Test under R3MATCLASS using TC - COMM_HIERARCHY and set in the extended attribute of the root organization level.
Also done the validation in BBP_DOC_CHECK _BADI.
In SRM portal it is reflecting the text as *Please select a product category from list* in Category field as I set in SRM server.
But when I try to select "Add To Shopping Cart" Button it displays the following error messages that -
1) Enter A comapny Code
2) Enter a unit of measure
3) Plant for follow-on document missing
4) System FCSCLNT110 of purch. organization M&S Purchasing Organisation differs from doc. reference FSSCLNT480
5) Error in account assignment for item 1
6) Error calling META BAPI META_CALCULATE_TAX
7) Not possible to calculate tax
8) Error occurred calling META_BAPI_DISPATCH
9) The cost center has not been assigned in the account assignment
When I select the valid product category which is replicated to SRM from ECC , it does not display any error message.
I think the dummy product category - Test which I have created directly in SRM is creating the problem . and displays an error message-

I have also check that when i click Add to Shopping Cart Button - The item_check Badi is also triggered . When I set up the break point there for debugging purpose its not triggeing and coming up with the above error messages.

I confirm that have successfully created the dummy product Category at SRM server and maintained in the extended attribute tab at the root organization level.
Bu the new problem raised - a warning message - No authorization to purchase from product category - Test
For that in PFCG TC we are setting up the autorization level as Low for Startegic Purchasing Role.
But even then the great problem is - when i click add to shopping cart button the line item is not created in step 2, since I have selected the dummy product category not the one which is replicated from backend. Otherwise if i select the one which is replicated from ECC its showing me the one line item in the next screen.
Can any one please advice.
