XI- CRM through IDOC adapter - error in outbound status of XI

I have set of messages created today, each of which have 10,000 records as well as same no. of idocs as outbound in XI.
only few messages have status 'messages processed' adn lot of messages are in staus 'Message Recorded (Commit follows)' and 'System Error (Restart Possible)'.
So only the expected idocs are not coming in CRM. But i see the idocs XI. i clicked on IDOC in outbound column of SXMB_MONI.
how can i restart the same message and get the idocs into CRM.

i tried restarting the message, then prompted with the below message.
Do you want to retain the trace level for the
selected messages (with errors) for the restart
or increase it (maximum level)?
i click on Retain, then the below error appears.
'You cannot restart XML message
E79C4320576611DBBAB10003BAD9E360 with this
status/type'.

  • Basic Idoc Adapter Error - XI 3.0

    Hi,
    I am new to XI so excuse me if this is a basic question.
    The scenario we have is File -> XI -> IDOC
    When the message is processed into the IDOC Adapter I am getting the following error :
    Control record must start with tag EDI_DC40 not E1LFA1M
    Don't really understand this one as in the message mapping this segment on the target IDOC is disabled. It was my understanding that this segment is automatically filled by the IDOC Adapter.
    Is there something I need to change in the Idoc Adapter to get this to happen ?

    It is not a basic question, but it seems to be a common problem.
    Check in your IDOC receiver channel, if the checkbox "Apply Control Record Values from Payload" is marked. If so, uncheck it. That should help.

  • Metadata EDISDEF not maintained  - Idoc adapter error

    hi,
    In our scenario, SenderParty->XI->R/3, we are using custom idoc to post into R/3. The idoc adapter throws an error, Metadata EDISDEF for port SAPXXX, IDoc type ZKAGXXX and CIM type not maintained, but when i use standard idoc, i don't get this error. We even applied oss note 837595 to fix authorization issue, but it didn't help.
    Any ideas or suggestions.

    One LAST suggestion.  Looking at Note 837595, it doesn't seem to specify a value for authorization group (DICBERCLS).  Try authorization group 'SS' (without quotes).  So:
    Object: S_TABU_DIS
    Activity: 03
    Auth. Group: SS
    I recall now that a customer recently had this issue and (for them), this helped.

    This is from F1 on Traget host field in SM59..Check part in bold..
    Name of target host  
         Name of the target host as displayed by the UNIX command 'hostname'.    
         <b>If you are using load balancing, the target host must be the host name  
         of the message server of the SAP System. This is defined in the profile 
         parameter 'rdisp/mshost' of the target system. If you have any further  
         questions, consult your system administrator.                           </b>
         You can specify host names as                                           
             -   Normal host names                                               
             -   Host names in DNS format (if DNS available)                     
             -   IP addresses                                                    
             -   SAProuter names (in the form /H/.../S/.../H/.../S/... )        
    Notes                                                                      
         If you enter the host name (for example, hs0311) as the target host in 
         an RFC destination, its IP address is stored internally in the database
         table RFCDES (destination administration). This speeds up the RFC      
         connection initiation, since the host name does not need to be converted
         into its IP address.                                                   
         However, problems occur if the IP address of the target host changes.  
         For this reason, you must adjust the RFC destinations if the IP address
         of the target host changes.                                            
         If you specify the host name as a SAProuter name (/H/hs0311 instead of 
         hs0311), it is not converted into its correspondidng IP address.       
         Instead, it is stored in its SAProuter form in table RFCDES.

  • IDOC Syntax Error E0072 with status 26 after upgrade to ECC6.0

    Hi
    We have upgraded SAP R/3 from 4.6C to ECC6.0. After upgrade, when we create PO and output EDI, we are seeing this IDOC syntax error E0072 for Mandatory Segment E1EDK01. In 4.6C it was working fine with no issues, only after upgrade this problem started. It says E1EDK01 is missing which is mandatory. We are using basic type ORDERS01 with no extensions. When we see WE30 it looks fine, WE20 settings looks fine.
    Order of the segments got scrambled in upgraded version. First segment is E1EDP19001, this is supposed to be under E1EDP01 segment. There are two E1EDP19001 segments created but there were no sub segments to E1EDP01.
    Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

  • IDOC Adapter error"ATTRIBUTE_INV_SND_SERV'

    I am doing small example like Using HTTP Client to submit Order Response XML from my browser and Converting Order Response XML file to an order response IDOC of type ORDERS05 idoc.  I have developed  all the necessary objects in Integartion Repository & Integration Directory and posted the Order Response XML file through HTTP client.
    I am getting the error message(in SXMB_MONI)like "Unable to convert sender service OrderResponse to an ALE logical system".
    Appritiate, if some one help me On this .

    For the business sytem you have to mention the adapter specific identifiers in the Integration Directory.
    Go to Int. Directory -> Double Click on your IDoc Business System -> Menu -> Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers
    Maintain Logical System name and System ID and Client number.

    My scenario is JDBC to IDOC, where I am fetching data from Database and posting an IDOC in SAP. My ALE Configuration is correct. I have done the following steps:
    In XI:
    1. Created RFC destination to connect to ECC system
    2. Created Port in IDX1
    3. Imported Meta-data in IDX2
    In ECC:
    1. Defined Logical system
    2. Partner Profile settings.
    Still, I am getting the below error, not sure why is this occuring...

  • IDOC Adapter error  / ATTRIBUTE_WRONG_INTF

    Hi at all,
    I have a problem regarding a interface sending IDOCs ( messagetype HRMD_A ) from one R/3 to another R/3 system via XI.
    I have created a new Message Interface which has the Message Type of the imported IDOC typ ( HRMD_A06 ).
    When the system tries to process the inbound IDOC I get the following message :

    Hi Florian,
    my solution:
    Create a simple BPM which will handle your situation
    BPM:
    reveicer step -> check step -> (transformation one or two ) -> send step
    in bpm you can use as many message interfaces (abstract idoc ) as you want

  • IDoc Adapter error / oss note 856266

    Hi all,
    Has anyone else run into and successfully fixed the error described in oss note 856266? We ran into exactly this issue. Found the note by searching on the error message, downloaded and applied the correction instructions, all the while feeling pleased it was such an easy fix...
    Nothing changed whatever though after the correction instructions were implemented. So either we did something dumb or the fix is not working for our system. Just wondered if anyone had similar experiences?
    We are on Win2k/SQLServer/SP13

       why don't we crate a communication channel for idoc on sender side,but when we go for receiver side we create communication channel .
    please let me know how an idoc converted in to idoc-xml while transfer to integartion engine from sender side.( with out idoc adapter on sender side)

    1)        I am dealing with the web services to IDoc Scenario. When i am activated my wed services it               is giving an error like
    "IDOC_ADAPTER.ATTRIBUTE_BE_NOT_SUPP" and "Only asynchronous processing supported for IDoc adapter outbound processing"
    Can any one help me to Solve my Problem
    2) How to find out whether the IDoc is of synchronous or Asynchronous mode

    Hi Kalyan,
    IDOCs are only Aynchronous (EO or EOIO).
    If you want to call Synchronious, you will have to find remote enabled function modules (RFCs, BAPIs).
    Or you have to use the ccBPM Synch-Async pattern to have an synchronos call passed to an IDoc, waiting for the Acknowledgement. In your situation I would check if a similar BAPI/RFC exists on your Backend SAP system.

  • SP14 Multi-mapping - error in receiver idoc adapter

    I have a scenario where a business service should send some XML to SAP CRM. I get the file via a sender JMS adapter and try to post it to CRM via a receiver IDOC adapter.
    I have created a multimapping (1:N - 1 XML file to many Idocs) as should in the repository.
    In the configuration under Interface Determination, I have chosen 'RB_SPLIT' and selected the interface multimapping.
    It should be pointed out, that when testing both interface and message mapping i get no error. All idocs seem to be created as they should.
    When testing the setup 'real life' the message fails. The error message in the monitor says:

    Now i really don't know how to interpret the error messages in both cases, so I'm a little lost here...
    It should be pointed out that the idoc being used everywhere in this scenario, has not been modified - from all places it is being used (and only exists) in the 'Imported objects | Idocs' place.
    Also the Idoc is also being used as Inbound interface - so no mistakes here either.
    I really hope someone can help me here, as I'm otherwise pretty stuck in this case.

    I have exactly the same type of scenario (under SPS14 and now also SPS15), sending an XML message over JMS to XI and trying a multi-mapping to many IDocs (actually a list of orders in XML is mapped to n ORDERS Idocs).
    I also face problems doing so, when I use the IDoc Adapter as outbound in the Receiver Agreement. I receive the following error:
    <i>CO_TXT_MMF_ENGINETYPE
    Messages in multi message format can be sent to one adapter engine only</i>
    However, I tested the same scenario by just changing the Receiver Agreement to a File Communication Channel and - surprise, surprise - it works. One file per IDoc is created.
    Of course, this is not what we want to accomplish, but when I checked this piece of documentation (sorry another link

    I have scenario as below.
    FTP->XI->CRM
    The sender adatper is File Adapter, FTP.
    Recv. adapter : IDOC adapter.
    In CRM, there were middleware settings for idoc processing.
    For an interface, in XI, i had a problem in getting a file of 10 Mb in size, so the file is split and i have made the XI sender adapter 'Z_PRICE_NEW20061004*.txt', so it picks all files within 5 mins and i have almost 104 XML messages.
    Now the problem is a quite no. of message are ended up with error status in outbouond process in XI.
    How can i reporcess the message? As the file is deleted from FTP? i ahve to do anything with the  failed message.
    A quick help is highly appreciated.

  • IDoc error on outbound side

    Hi.
    I'm setting up a communication with (JMS adapter -> XI -> IDoc adapter).
    No w to the problem. When we send the message with the IDoc adapter we get the following error.
    Message has error status on outbd. side
    We can see this message when I put my cursor over the red flag in the outbound status column in SXMB_MONI.
    I do not think there's anything wrong with the adapter because we are using it to send an other IDoc and that IDoc gets processed correctly to the target system.
    What can cause the error on the that I get above?

          go to details of that transaction and check the error that caused idoc in outbound status failure...
    an error tab can be seen in the outbound binding pipeline entry of that transaction and check the error caiused that
