XI Idoc Receiver Port Not Found

Hi there
I have a Idoc Scenario where the Idoc is a receiver adapter going into some Sap System. I have setup the scenario and it gets processed correctly but the Idoc has got a status 56. Everything seems fine but in WE02, if I view the idoc under Technical Info, the Port there is different from what I have specified in the message mapping. Where does that port get specify if not in XI?
Thanx,
Jan

Hi Jan,
have a look at my blog

  • Inbound IDOC receiver port not getting filled in

    Hi All,
I checked the WE20 configuration and it is fine. Just wanted to check if there is any other sap configuration which might be missing.
The IDOC is coming from a web server and they confirmed that they are filling the receiver port information while sending, but in the IDOC that we receive in SAP the receiver port is coming as blank.
    Any pointers will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Anil

    Hello Anil,
When they say they are filling receiver port that means they filling EDIDC-RCVPRT, please note with out receiver port you will not be able to receive the Idoc.
It means this value might be cleared somewhere in SAP. may be user exit or BADI or enhancement. what you can do is try to create inbound idocs by populating receiver  port using WE19 and check whether the created idoc contains this value or not.By doing the you can get an idea where this value is disappered.

  • PI-MDM Port Not Found Issue

    Dear Experts,
We are posting a message from MDM to ECC via PI. Idoc was successfully created in ECC.
Our requirement is : getting a response message from ECC to MDM via PI. Message reached PI but not posting to MDM Port folder and in CC Monitoring error is as below::
"Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.af.lib.ra.cci.XIAdapterException: System error: MDM port not found"**
Could you please provide your inputs.
    Thaking you.
    Hemanth

    Hi Hemanth,
Please check the Setting for Inbound Messaging (communication channel) of PI
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmdm71/helpdata/en/48/9854884d3217cee10000000a421937/content.htm
Make sure here you fill all parameters correctly along with <serverName>:<portNumber>, Port Code and Remote System Code etc of the inbound MDM port.
Also, check that there is no more than one MDM receiver configured per MDM inbound port in your system landscape. Deviating from this guideline can lead to a race condition state where different MDM receiver communication channels are monitoring the same MDM inbound port, and only the first one receives the import acknowledgment of the message.
Just check and revert with result.

    Mandeep Saini

  • PI MDM Adapter Error - MDM port not found

Is there an issue with our receiver communication channel and the MDM Access Parameters? We are using the Port code and Remote System code provided by the MDM team.
    Anyone experience this same issue?

We are no longer seeing the MDM Port Not found error, but we are still seeing the UnknownServer error. Looking at RWB Message Monitoring it appears that the message is successfully sent to the MDM server, but nothing is coming into the Ready folder. Any ideas on where the message is going, and why it is not showing up in the Ready folder?

  • MDM port not found

    Hi Friends,
I'm doing currently MDM-PI-Idoc scenario. When I start the mdm adapter I get this error.
MDM Adapter listener could not start due to: MDM port not found
However I have checked PI sp level i.e 05 and MDM sp level i.e 04, will this really be a problem for happening this issue?
    How can I solve this?

  • Servermgrd: cupsd's bootstrap server port not found

This issue was posted last fall, but no one had ever posted with a solution to it. About every 2 minutes in /var/log/system.log, I get the following message:
servermgrd: cupsd's bootstrap server port not found
This is on an Xserve running 10.4.5. No printers are attached or will be. I'm not sharing any printers either.
Again, its just an annoyance, but why is something logging to system.log if its not actually a problem?

same prob here. really annoying. ever find the cure?

  • Cupsd's bootstrap server port not found

I've got both Samba and CUPS turned off at startup, yet I get this recurring error in the system log:
Dec 12 19:07:12 /usr/sbin/smbd: cupsd's bootstrap server port not found
Dec 12 19:07:13 /usr/sbin/smbd: cupsd's bootstrap server port not found
Dec 12 19:07:13 /usr/sbin/smbd: cupsd's bootstrap server port not found
Dec 12 19:07:14 /usr/sbin/smbd: cupsd's bootstrap server port not found
I kill smbd but it starts up again, apparently thanks to /usr/libexec/launchproxy
I'm using the default configuration files for Samba and CUPS and there is no printer set up. Using OS X 10.4.3 (not Server). repaired permissions.
this is driving me nuts...any suggestions welcome.

I get that response all the time, it doesn't seem to have any relevance to anything and as far as I can tell, doesn't impair the functioning of my machine.

  • "Receiver port not valid in control record"...idoc error

    Hi,
The new materials are sent to SAP via a text file which is placed in the application server which EDI uses to populate the Idoc segments and creates the material master.
Recently we upgraded from SAP 4.6 C to ERP 5.0.
After upgrading we are getting a message as Port(HPLED) invalid in control record.
I get an error message as  "receiver port HPLED  not valid in control record"...
It is not able to find  the receiver port & hence cannot create the MM.
We checked all the config and compared with Test and production and we could not find any noticable change.
Did anyone come across any infor on this?
Your valubale reply is really very important for me.
    Pls reply.
    Regards,
    Pri

    Hey Ramesh,
I've already done the WE57 setting.
You see the WE57 setting is always done on the reciever side and not on the sender side (There is no harm but it is not what SAP recomends) The Linking on the sender side is done in the Partner Profile, where we give the extension name.
For the reciever this Partner profile setting of extension is not there therefore we need to go to WE57 and do it.
I've done all the config and have tried all the things in both the systems but somehow nothing is working.
That is why I asked that in my Inbound FM which is IDOC_INPUT_HRMD do I need to popluate one of it Parameters or fields where I mention the Extension name and all.
Yesterday however I found an SAP NOTE (105148) which tells me that my naming convention of the Extension is wrong. I have made ZHRMD_A07 extending standard IDOC tupe HRMD_A07, actually it should be ZRMD_A07. Again this is speculative I need to try this out. But I do know that SAP has various checks which checks all the naming convention and all. I'll try this out and hopefully it might work.
In the meantime any other suggestions are most invited. I am using Message type HRMD_A and using IDOC type HRM_A07

  • Receiving command not found after modifying .bash_profile in OEL 5.6 64 bits

    Hi guys,
After the installation of Oracle Database 11gR2 on OEL 5.6, I added the following entries into the .bash_profile of the oracle user:
    # Oracle Settings
    TMP=/tmp; export TMP
    TMPDIR=$TMP; export TMPDIR

But now, when I tried to login as the oracle user on my terminal, I received the following error:

    command not found
So I deleted all the entries I added to the .bash_profile file. But it didn't solve the problem. When I log in as oracle, I still receive the error:

This is really weird. How can I do to solve this error?

The following command might show you where the problem is:

  • Idoc error - basetype not found

    Hey,
I try to configure a netweaver system (aii) and a r3 to communicate with each other.
the aii system did not have the base type matmas01 to receive a material via bd10 from r3 to aii.
I only send a material with a number and that`s it.
I created a basetype in the aii with segment E1MARAM and the fields msgfn, matnr, mbrsh, mtart.
    Is this enough?
Then I assigned the Zaidmatmas to this new created base type zmatmas1. I configured in WE20 the parameters for the partner profile and gave him a zmatmas1.
Then I sent a material via BD10, but it does not appear under the producs in my aii. why?
what else should i do to achieve this?
In my R3 I have a status 3 and a green light, but in the aii there never is an incoming idoc. (not even a failure msg, just no connection, although the rfc works properly)

In my R3 I have a status 3 and a green light, but in the aii there never is an incoming idoc.
Check if u have any entry in sm58 of R3

  • Receiver determination not found for one interface

    Hi,
I am receiving the message via SOAP and then sending to SAP as IDOC.
The communication is party o partyless communication.
I have configured 2 receiver determination for the same sender and receiver but with 2 different interfaces.
When i test the scenario via SOAP tool only one gets  executed and the second one neither throws an error nor getting executed.
I think i have a error in the configuration that i did for the 2nd interface since i am using the 1st receiver determination which has been created already ?
but in the Quick Test tool and Test tool in ID both the receiver determination is working fine.please provide the inputs
    Thanks in advance,
    Rgds,
    Vasanth.

    Hi All,
Thanks for all of your replies.
I have activated all the objects and checked it again once.
As i said earlier the sender and receiver are same and that's why i have been pushed to create 2 receiver determinations for the same file(not IDOC as i said above) to be dropped in to two different locations.
Also the configuration is party in sender to partyless in receiver.
    To give a clear explantion:
All the objetcs are activated and works fine when i test in the test tool in ID by specifying the inetrface and namespace.
    Sender1 - Int1 - sap1.com - SA - RD - ID - RA -Receiver1  = working fine when tested by ID test tool
    Sender1 - Int2 - sap2.com -SA- RD - ID - RA Receiver2  = working fine  when tested by ID test tool
RD = Receiver determination / SA = Sender Agreement
It is not working when i send the same file thru SOAP client tool and only one receiver determination is working and another is not.
    Any idea ?
    Thanks,
    RGds,
    Vasanth.

    Hi,
This is configuration issue, please check the ESR sender/Receiver interfaces and the associated
Sender / Receiver agreement and the associated communication channels are configured correctly.
Try to test the configuration using Test configuration / send a test message from RWB to this interface.
If the configuration is correct and you are facing the same issue. try to delete the ID configuration and recreate it.
Before re-creating the configuration, do cache refresh.
