XI message processing is very slow

XI message processing is very slow.I did everything in tuning guide, but it is still very slow.
I executed <b>DB13-->Check and update optimizer statistics</b>
XI message is faster in another XI server.Although another XI server's hardware is weaker.
I checked DB2 tablespaces and extend them.
What can I do for higher performance?
Thanks.

Hi Cemil
The following thread can throw some light on what you are looking for..
Where could I find the information about XI performance?
Also, check the following pdf

  • Dv4 1241TX issue getting too much heated, processes are very slow

I've got Pavilion dv4 1241tx notebook. 11 months old. only genuine s/w including OS installed.
It gets heated up very fast, you can actually fry an egg on that i guess.
the processing gets very slow that simple game like counter strike (needs 256 ram, mine is 3 gb ram) doesn't run smoothly.
HP has to to something for this problem. today i went to the athd. service center and the guy told me to hand-over the laptop for checking. i wrote a mail to HP care, but i guess HP is minting toooo much of money, so why bother.
As compared to other laptop (dell, lenovo) HP comes at a price almost similar to them but the overall performance is pathetic.i have been an computer pro right from my school days and now regret of not buying the MAC.
HP guys please reply if you have any solution to my problems. otherwise i guess this is how HP works.

  • Satellite U500 - Copy process is very slow

    Hi friends,
I'm using Satellite U500-1f5, for last 2 months. It is core i5 with Windows 7. Still the copying process is very slow and some times booting is little bit slower.
Can anyone post a valid answer to resolve this problem?

    Hey mate,
Sounds like that you have installed a lot of software that slows down the performance of your notebook.
So which programs you have installed?
Theoretically it could also be caused due a virus or trojan. You should check your notebook for viruses using a good antivirus program like AntiVir.
Try also to defragment the HDD. If you install/uninstall many programs, you should defragment the HDD from time to time. You can use the integrated Windows defragmentation tool.

    Hi,
I've yesterday configured my first SCCM 2012 installation. Around 146 systems have been discovered so far by using the AD discovery method. But out of those 146 only 9 have agent installed successfully by the time I am writing this post..Dont see any errors
in ccm logs, no dns issues, admin share accessible, and other required services are running, machines are reachable, correct sccm account with required permissions is defined and boundary configured correctly.
How long does it take to install 140 machines. Am I missing something, what else do I need to check, it is the only primary site server with no CAS installed in the site coz the expected clients in future are lesser than 1000 and SQL 2K8 R2 wSP1

  • Multiple crashes fixed by turning off hardware and Flash acceleration; very slow now. Takes five seconds to exit and still listed as a running process

A workaround was suggested by a member of the community to turn off both hardware and Flash acceleration. It worked fine (no crashes since), but runs very slowly. In particular, takes five seconds to exit and is often still listed as a running process. Very slow in connecting to Web pages, and very slow loading them because of the graphics. Very slow in loading video. I expected slower responses, but this is REALLY slow. I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 and an Nvidia GE Force 7800 graphics card with all the drivers updated and the plugins for Firefox mostly set on "ask to activate". Should I expect this much reduction in performance when the workaround I mentioned was put into place? If so, it's half a loaf at best. The only thing questionable is that I have two Youtube downloaders that I am trying, but I made the assumption that these were only applied when you downloaded something from Youtube.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes": do not clear the Cookies
If you clear cookies then Firefox will also try to remove cookies created by plugins and that requires to start plugin-container processes that can slow down closing Firefox.
Instead let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies.
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"

    Hi Solaris gurus:
I encountered a issue that running ps -p on java process running very slow, it took almost 2 seconds to complete.

Not enough memory, page-outs is too large

After removing adware, and do a safe boot of Safari and remove extensions, then reset cache history etc. You need to do a boot into Recovery Mode and run Disk Repair from there. Also boot the system in Safe Mode.
On startup it sounds like you have a problem with the directory which would also account for long startups and checking the directory. Along with or instead of DU Repair Disk you can use Single User Mode and fsck -fy to try to fix the directory but in some cases that may not be enough.
Backups from before you got this adware and problems helps and should always be ready and able to restore a system from known good backups or system restore image.
4GB of RAM may have been fine originally but "Early 2011" is now 5 years and 4 OS version changes. You can upgrade the memory and while at it consider a nice SSD internal drive which will help as well. Take a look and see what prices and options there are from http://www.macsales.com for your 2011 MacBook Pro.

  • IPhoto '08 very slow upload for calendar / books?

    Hi,
I'm having a LOT of problems with uploading my 2008 Calendar projects. I've created a Calendar in iPhoto. The total size is 22 MB. When I click "Buy Now", it goes through the process of assembling the calendar, and then starts uploading the files to Apple. But the upload process is VERY SLOW.... it uploads maybe a hundred KB a minute or so, then usually stalls out and I get an error message saying "There was an error sending your files to Apple. Retry?"
-I've tried this at least 40-50 times over the past week (yes, these are Christmas presents for the grandparents!).
-At first I figured it was bandwidth at the Apple side, so I've tried it at all hours of the day and night, with no effect.
-I've tried it on wireless network at home, as well as plugged directly into network at both home and work.
-I have been able to get 2 orders to go through, the rest have all failed. I've actually received one of the orders, and the calendars look great!
-My broadband connection is fine... I'm able to upload pictures to Shutterfly, Flickr, and via FTP with NO problems at all and very rapid throughput. Speedtest.net shows my upload and download speeds are fine.
The odd thing is... When I watch the Activity Monitor, during assembly of the calendar I see high CPU utilization and very little network utilization from iPhoto (as I would expect). But once the files start uploading, I see a few spikes in outgoing network traffic, then erratic spikes of outbound data (nothing sustained). When I send large batches of files through FTP, or other upload I get sustained outbound network traffic. After a few minutes... I hear the fan on my MacBook cranking up, even though the CPU activity is idle on the activity monitor.
My theory: this is a software problem in iPhoto, NOT a network problem. Possibly from one of the recent iPhoto or security updates? I suppose this could be a corrupted preferences file, but don't know which ones I can safely delete. My iPhoto library is working fine, no errors in that.
Any suggestions? Santa will bring you good karma if you can help me get these calendars to the grandparents soon!
    Jim

    Chris
There were a couple of cases of this reported after v7 was launched.
    Some things to try:
    1. Make sure you're up-to-date - iPhoto is up to 7.1.1 now.
    2. Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
    3. Try delete the com.apple.iphoto.plist file from the home / library / preferences folder

  • Sending mail with "sent" is fast, but copying the sent mail is very slow, sometimes takes a minute; can it be speeded up?

After hitting "send", a screen comes up showing a moving bar "copying the mail to the sent folder", the bar goes fully right on
the screen but then I must wait, sometimes a minute for the copying process to complete. Then I always get a screen message
next that says in effect could not copy, so I close that screen and then go to my sent folder and the email I sent shows up. So,
the copy process is very slow and then I get a message could not copy, but in fact a copy does appear in sent folder????
    Thank you

You do not mention how big is the Sent folder.
I would first try to archive a load of old sent emails. This will reduce the file size. Maybe the delay is due to a large file.
    Set up Archive Options:
    * https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/archived-messages
choose to archive by month and year and keep folder structure.
Archive anything older than a month.

  • Photoshop cs6 extended actions run very slow

When I run actions the process is very slow.  I am using CS6 and the status window states that PS is running 100% efficient.  On prior versions of PS the actions have been very fast.  I checked my computer hardware against adobes's suggestions and I match up.  Can anyone give me an idea what would be making the actions operate so slow.  I am running Windows 7 pro, have 32 gb ram, nvidia quatro 4000 graphics card and an i7-4771 cpu running at 3.5ghz.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It was said to pause for 10 sec.  I changed it to accelerated and now it flies.  Thanks so much for the tip.

  • FAGLL03 - very slow

    Hi,
Using fagll03 by wbs element wise i.e,  fagll03->custom selection->gl account
line item->wbs element->give input of wbs element.

Anybody give the solution to this problem

    Hi,
The accesses to the database are usually the main reason for a long runtime.
Use transaction ST05 to start a trace, just before the line item transaction is executed.
After some runtime of the FBL*N or FAGLL03 transaction, you can stop and display the trace.
In this trace, you should pay attention to commands for which the runtime is not optimal, for which the duration is displayed in red.
You should then analyze the OPEN command for the table that is just being selected.  A database index may help, or you discover that the index used is not the optimal index.
In the latter case, the database statistics should be checked.
These statistics are checked in the database interface. The database interface is used to select the 'best possible' index.
If the system does not recognize a specific index due to the missing statistics, this index is not used.
You can use transaction DB20, for example, to create or refresh these statistics.

  • Zimbra login is very slow - SQL query takes 35+ seconds

    Hi,

I did the statistics gathering mentioned in another thread yesterday, to see if that helped - doesn't seem liked it. I'm running Database 11.1.0.6 and Beehive 1.5.1 in the build from the day it released.
Any hints? I'll post this to MetaLink as well, unless someone has some immediate idea what's wrong :-)

No speedup, the 35-40 seconds is for normal logins - and it's very consistent, at least if the database is otherwise idle. Immediately logging out and back in gives me the same wait, and the same query shows up in the Enterprise Manager interface.
It seems it might be related to Workspaces - from EM:

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
