XI/PI ANSI/ISA-95 Content For Production Schedule; Production Performance

Hello experts,
Can you please let me know what the correct name of the package is on SAP Market Place for the pre-defined ANSI/ISA-95 Content (for Production Schedules; Production Performance; Maintenance Requests;Maintenance Workorders etc. for SAP MII scenarios) .
Thanks and regards,
Brendon

Hi Brendon,
If you are trying to find out packages for MII, the best link is this: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/webcontent/uuid/90537bfe-fd6b-2910-fda3-b04f1177c51e. [original link is broken] The specific link for standard MII templates (version 12.1) is: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e090ef23-dbc5-2a10-0994-b589d869cd92. NOTE: It requires a S user and also SDN user to download.
I tried to find out what ANSI/ISA-95 refers and I guess what you need is into PP templates into the link above. It doesnu2019t make sense u201CXI contentu201D if you need MII content, my advice is trying to download and install into your MII this templatesu2026

  • Production scheduler & profile configuration

    Dear SAPper,
    When i create production order, the production scheduler is automatically flled (ex.101) and then
    the production scheduler profiles is automaticalled filled too.
    I don;t maintain production scheduler & production scheduler profile in work scheduling in material master?
    where did system pic thatt value??
    Best regards,
    Freddy Ha

    Hi,
    For your order type,
    Please check if in OPL8 "Assignment" area - "substitute scheduler" field is defined.
    This scheduler is picked up as default if not defined in material master.
    If a PSP is attached to this defualt scheduler in OPJ9, then that will also be picked up in the order.
    Hope this helps.

  • JDE Production scheduling with Oracle Mfg

    Has anyone worked with JDE Production Scheduling product. We have the Discrete Mfg. Modules installed.
    Does anyone have any information on JDE Production Scheduling.
    Thanks!

    Hi Pankaj,
    Please follow the simple steps :
    Create DBlinks and verify their validity
    1.     Create APS Partitions on the Source System.
    2.     Refresh Snapshot
    3.     Create Planning Flex fields Program.
    Set up the Application Instances and define Organizations
    Enter the Organizations for the particular instance.
    Enable the Organization
    Enter the collection group
    Make sure you have run the collections for the correct Organization
    View Collected Data
    Provide the Organization Security to the Responsibilities:
    Production Scheduler
    Profile Options:
    EBS 11.5.10
    •     Set MSC: Source setup required to NO
    R12.1
    •     Set MSC: Source setup required to YES
    •     MSC: PS/SNO API Version -Should be set to 3.3 at Site Level.
    •     MSC: PS/SNO Data Store Path - Should be set to the value of $APPLCSF environment variable at Site Level.( /u000/oracle/VIS/inst/apps/...)

  • Business Content for Production Orders

    Dear All,
    we are looking for a SAP standard scenario for our business scenario to get details per production order and workcenter.
    I found already Datasources 2LIS_04_P_MATNR (for production order header data), 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL (for production order operational data) and 2LIS_04_P_COMP (for production order component data), which contain the data we will need to be reported on.
    Unfortunately I'm not able to find any How-To paper or anything like this, where I can see, how these 3 Datasources are coming together in BW. For 2LIS_04_P_MATNR I found 0PP_DS01 in the business content. But I expected to find as well an DSO in the SAP content for the other 2 Datasources. I'm also wondering, if there is a standard cube, where these 3 DSO's are coming together later on to be the basis for the reporting.
    Does anybody of you have any standard documentation of this business scenario?
    Thank you in advance.
    Peggy

    Hi Peggy , There is no standard DSO or infocube available which reports on all the 3 data sources combined together.
    But there are standard DSOs ,infocubes like 0PP_O01 , 0PP_C04 which can be used in a custom multiprovider to draw reports of interest.
    For more details refer http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/28/500b3c56488e6be10000000a114084/frameset.htm

  • Business Content -is needed for QA and Production System

    I am working in BW3.5 system.
    BI content 3.5.3 is installed in BW Development system.
    Is it necessary BI content needs to be installed all the system like BW QA and BW production system.
    I am going to activate necessary objects only in BW Development environment. I am not going to activate anything in( Business content )QA /Production.
    I am going to move all the objects through Transports.
    Now our basis team saying that we have to install BI content in QA and Production.
    Please advise on this.

    Hi SAPBW D  ,
      Its customary to install the bussiness content first & start working wwith it . As far as qa,prod & Dev are concerned ,remember that though you transport from prod to qa & dev if they have to be available for use then they have to be activated . So activation of  at least the necessary objects is a must in qa & dev as well .
    -cheers !

  • Issue in Hierarchy data upload from R/3 for info object Product Hierarchy.

    Hi,
    I am trying to upload the hierarchy data from R/3 system for Info Object Product Hierarchy.
    Insted of business content info objects (0PRODH, 0PRODH1, 0PRODH2, 0PRODH3, 0PRODH4, 0PRODH5, 0PRODH6), we are using customized objects (ZPRODH, ZPRODH1, ZPRODH2, ZPRODH3, ZPRODH4, ZPRODH5, ZPRODH6).
    In transfer rules the mapped is as specified below
    Fields        =>  Info Objects.
    0ZPRODH1 => ZPRODH1
    0ZPRODH2 => ZPRODH2
    0ZPRODH3 => ZPRODH3
    0ZPRODH4 => ZPRODH4
    0ZPRODH5 => ZPRODH5
    0ZPRODH6 => ZPRODH6
    Now, when I schedule the Info Package, it is ending with an errors
    "Node characteristic 0PRODH1 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
    "Node characteristic 0PRODH2 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
    "Node characteristic 0PRODH3 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
    "Node characteristic 0PRODH4 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
    "Node characteristic 0PRODH5 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
    "Node characteristic 0PRODH6 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH".
    when i tried to load by flat file, there is no issues. But, flat file loading is not allowed for us.
    Please let me know any possible solution to handle this issue.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Patil.

    Hi voodi,
    Insted of using the info object 0PRODH1, we should use customized info object ZPRODH1 which I added already in the external characteristic in Hierarchy.

    Patil.

  • Business System not reflecting the XI Content for SRM

    Hi,
    We are currently working on the SUS-MM scenario.
    The landscape includes PI 7.11, SRM 7.0 and R/3 4.6C. SLD Communication is working fine between these systems.
    Integration Builder has SRM Server 7.0 and SRM Server IC 7.0 imported.
    The current status:
    We can successfully transfer vendors from SAP R/3 to SUS
    We cannot transfer transaction data from SAP R/3 to SUS, e.g. purchase orders etc
    Our Main Issue:
    The Business System INTEGRATION_SERVER_<SID> is imported into the Integration Builder from the SLD.
    On the Display communication component screen, the receiver and Sender tabs are not showing any of the SRM Server or IC components that have been imported into the ESR. However is displaying only the BASIS components that was imported during inital install.
    Because of this, we are not able to proceed with the configuration though the interfaces being available in the ESR. We are not sure what is that we are missing that is preventing the XI content for SRM from being displayed. Also, the PI business system in the SLD has the SRM Content listed under the installed products list.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Venkat.

    Hello,
    do you have a solution? I'm facing the same issue.

  • BI content for SRM

    Hello,
    I would like to understand Concept of BI content for SRM.
    For some reason we cannot use BI.
    【structure of the system】
    BI7.0
    SRM5.0(Decoupled Scenario)
    ECC6.0
    ■transaction data(Decoupled Scenario)
    How does BI eliminate crossover of documents and gather documents?
    by document number?product category?
    ■master data(Decoupled Scenario)
    WHen we use master data for analysis, should I use master date of SRM?
    In that case, should we copy the master data of ECC to SRM?
    【Decoupled Scenario】
    Master date and transaction date (by unit of record) exist in
    1. ECC
    2. SRM
    3. ECC and SRM

    NO migration of data from old to new model data.
    I implemented the new model and reload the data into BW.

  • RU - XI content for MDC's

    We are participating in the MDM3.0 Rampup project and I have some
    questions related to the requirements for the XI server (finding
    the XI content that it needs to talk to the MDC clients we have)
    and MDC clients.
    1.  p.16 of the Master Guide, section 2.2 Master Data Clients section:
    here for R/3 4.6C clients it lists NO basis support pack prerequisites
    (only has plug-in prereq's).  If I go to p.23, section 2.5.1, under
    the 6th step (copy the process integration content...), it talks
    about XI content that, based on the MDC client type (R/3 4.6,
    4.7, CRM, etc), must be imported into the MDM3.0 landscape's
    XI3.0 server.  We have a 4.6C MDC, and a 4.7 MDC that we
    want to use in this MDM3.0 prototype.
    For 4.6 the guide states that we need the XI Content for:
    SAP_APPL 4.6C
    PI 2004_1_46C
    For 4.7 the guide states that we need the XI Content for:
    SAP_APPL 4.7
    PI 2004_1_470
    PI_BASIS 2004_1_620
    I'm using the 'patches' alias on the SMP -->
    SAP Support Packages and Patches
    -->Search for Support Packages and Patches
    -->Entry by Application Group
    -->SAP Application Components
    -->SAP R/3
    -->SAP R/3 4.6C
    -->XI CONTENT SAP_APPL 46C
    -->SAP DB (even though we're using ORACLE, i was told this is right)
    ...here there are only SP's 46, 47, 48
    p.23 also states "The support package level of the master data
    client XI content must be the same as the support package level of
    the Master Data Client itself"
    So does that mean that there REALLY IS a Basis sp prerequisite of at
    least sp#46 for a 4.6C MDC?  p.16 of the Master Guide would then
    need to be updated...
    2.  What about the sp's 1-45?  is it correct to assume that
    46,47, and 48 are cumulative (i.e. you can apply just 46 and
    not 1-45 which don't even exist here; or similarily apply
    just 48 and not have to worry about 46-47)
    3.  I unzipped one of the XI_CONTENT SAP_APPL 46C files (#46), and
    it is a .tpt extension file.  How does this content get imported
    into the XI3.0 server?  Is it via transports?  Or via SPAM, or
    something else.
    4.  As far as finding the XI content for my 4.6C's PI 2004_1_46C
    components...please specify the EXPLICIT location of this, as i
    cannot find it.
    Thanks!

    Hello Ben,
    I've got an update from a XI colleague and post this here.
    reg 1.
    Generally speaking the ABAP SP number and the corresponding XI Content SP number have to be identical. There is one exception from this rule:
    XI CONTENT SAP APPL 46C contains uploaded IDocs resp. RFCs only. These interfaces exist for years. But in XI they were uploaded in the current SPs because the older SPs were already shipped. The structure of the IDocs resp. RFCs did not change, so in this case you can import XI CONTENT SAP APPL 46C SP48 although your MCS has SAP APPL 46C less than SP48. (The same applies for all software component versions with a SAP_BASIS less than 6.20, e.g. SAP APPL 470.)
    reg 2.
    Yes, SP48 contains SP47, SP46 etc.
    reg 3.
    XI Content gets imported with the build in functionality in the XI Repository. Please refer to note 705541.
    reg 4.
    There is a additional way how to find XI Content SPs on the SMP:
    SMP alias 'patches' -->
    SAP Support Packages and Patches
    -->Search for Support Packages and Patches
    -->Entry by Application Group
    -->SAP Content
    -->Process Integration Content (XI Content)
    -->XI CONTENT PI
    -->XI CONTENT PI 2004_1_46C
    As far as I can see, PI 2004_1_46C is not a mandatory part of the product SAP R/3 4.6C. Therefore the navigation via this product doesn't lead to XI CONTENT PI 2004_1_46C
    Futhermore you have opened the OSS ticket 410563 2004 with the same issue. Let's follow up this stuff in OSS .
    Thanks,
       Horst

  • How to import page content similar to importing products?

    Hi,
    I have built a sample page for my site. There are another 30 website pages using the same structure but with different content I need to build. Instead of copying and pasting the same page and replace with different data, is there a way that I can import page content, something like importing products? It would be much quicker to finish the work. Cheers.
    Alex

    Hi Alex, you should be using templates and content holders rather then having everything just in pages.

  • Key Criteria for Business Intelligence Product Vs Hyperion

    Hi !
    Can some one share what are the basic criterias for evaluating which product would fit for a customer site - Oracle BI Vs Hyperion?
    Thanks
    Amit

    That's an extremely wide question. Check out these links...they give you a first insight.
    http://cobb.typepad.com/cubegeek/2008/02/obiee-essbase.html
    http://businessintelligencedw.blogspot.com/2008/07/siebel-analytics-obiee-vs-hyperion.html
    Otherwise, check Oracles website for the detailled specs and capabilities:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/enterprise-edition.html
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/essbase/index.html
    And here's a link on the evolution of the two:
    http://www.hroug.hr/hr/content/download/3749/52383/file/504_Perica_BI_novosti.pdf
    Generally the decision between the two boils down to the actual customer requirements. And it's not unusual to find both products in use for the same solution.
    Cheers,
