XI response is not received

I am trying to retrieve information from an oracle database for updating an object on my portal application. But for some reason, I receive a null value instead of the information I am expecting.
I have verified that I am sending the proper XML document to XI. Also I have verified that XI is generating the desired response in a form of XML. However in my HTMLAdapter, my input stream receives null instead of the response generated by XI.
I am suspecting a timeout issue. Any ideas what could cause a time out in XI.
Any other ideas are also welcome.

Hi Alaa,
I think you are talking about HTTP Adapter and not HTML adapter right? I think your problem cud be in the configuration.. Kindly check the configuration of the communication channels..
Cheers,
Divya

  • LR3 error - "a response was not received in time"

I have been using LR for a couple of years now and have uploaded many web galleries to my website.  Recently, however, it is just not happening for me.
I have been trying for 3 weeks to upload 3 web galleries in LR3 - they range in size from 200 - 300 pics per gallery.
The error message I get is "a response was not received in time".
I was using the trial version of LR3 before buying but was told they could not help me unless I'd bought the software.  VERY helpful and not exactly great PR!!  As I was desperate with waiting clients I bought the upgrade anyway.  That was a week ago.
I have spent 1.5 hours on the phone to the US LR support and as long with UK support (US was way better).
I have had return calls from LR and a promise to hear back from the engineers as the problem was escalated.  That was nearly a week ago and I've not heard a word.
I am using a brand new iMac bought on 22 July and haven't done anything other than try to process and upload these 3 galleries so have huge amounts of memory available.
    I have unlimited web space.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled LR twice.
My 8 year old pc can upload the galleries fine (although soooo slowly as it is inadequate for this type of work), so there is no connection problem.
As a work around I exported the galleries to the desktop and uploaded using 5 different FTP programmes.  Filezilla seems to work best, but although the gallery uploads, not all the pictures appear properly - normally 10 - 20 pics are a problem.  Even though they appear to have uploaded, only the thumbnail shows, not the large image.  It is not the pics as if I reload a gallery it will be different pics that fail to show correctly each time - totally random.
I have been able to upload a gallery through LR of between 1 and 5 pics, but no more than 5 (proving the settings are fine), until today.
Today I managed to upload over 400 pics using an html gallery.
Next I tried uploading 50 in a flash gallery and this also worked, so I tried to upload 1 of my 3 complete galleries.
The first attempt resulted in an "unknown error message" - believe it or not I was quite hopeful as at least it was a different error message.
The second attempt resulting in "a file was truncated during upload"  Never seen that one before.
The third attempt resulted in my now familiar error message of "a response was not received in time"
    Desperate for help please.

I don't understand why it works fine with a PC - have tested with 3, 2 of which are seriously old - but not with my brand new iMac.  I thought that getting whiz bang machine I'd have fewer hassles.
In my experience, it is the wizz bang machines which always seem to have the problems! I must admit to sticking with my desktop (a Windows machine) rather than my Laptop (a MAC) when doing FTP transfers using LR as certainly with LR 2 the FTP in LR on the MAC did seem to have some hiccups. Perhaps using a separate FTP to upload the site is the best solution for the time being although the other problems you report don't seem to directly relate to the FTP. There were some more detailed postings in the past from MAC users on this issue and some about the BIN file problem on windows servers, so a search may help.

  • Aironet 1600 - A response was not received from the router or access point

    Hi,
I'm trying to set up a wireless network with multiple SSID's. The new network only has CISCO products (router, switches). For the moment I'm trying to connect to 1 SSID (Windekind.Gast). the SSID is visible but when connecting devices have te folowing error message in the log:
    Connection status summary
    Connection started at: 2015-02-17 09:55:49-951
    Profile match: Success
    Pre-Association: Success
    Association: Fail
    Security and Authentication: Not started
    Root cause:
    Wireless association to "Windekind.Gast" failed
A response was not received from the router or access point.
    Detailed root cause:
Wireless association to this network failed. Windows did not receive any response from the wireless router or accesspoint.
The signal is perfect (I'm only a few feet away from the AP).
To make sure there is no dhcp problem I tested the swich port in access mode for vlan 30 which supplied an IP correctly. I'm really not seeing the problem and searched the web for days now! Any help would be very much appreciated!
Below the config of the access point (done via de web interface).

    Hi Rasika
thanks for the reply! 10.0.0.81 belongs to vlan 1. I changed the config as suggested but no luck.. (same problems are logged in the event viewer). the ap is connected to a switchport in trunk mode and vlan 1 is the native lan (untagged). the port also is joined to vlan 30 (and others).
Below the new config. Hope you can see an error..

  • Join response does not reach AP

This problem is also firewall and router/switch related, but the main problem is that the APs do not join.
I have lightweight access-points (LAPs) on a subnet behind a redundant routed firewall context on an FWSM in a 6509. This context has a DHCP relay configured.
The outside of the firewall is connected to the router (MSFC) through an interface vlan.
On that same chassis, a PIX525 is connected. Behind that PIX is the WLC and the DHCP-server.
When the LAP powers on, it does an DHCP request. The context relays it to the DHCP server, and the response is sent to the LAP. In that response is the IP-address of the WLC, which is on the same subnet as the DHCP server.
Next step is a join request to the controller (udp to WLC on port 12223).
When I use the capture facility on the firewall, I see the packet entering the inside interface, and leaving the outside on the FWSM. I do not see any responses.
Next I do the same on the PIX outside: there I see the requests to the WLC, but also the responses FROM the WLC. I do not see those responses on the OUTSIDE of the context of the FWSM!
I use the following ACL for capturing data:
access-list lwapp permit ip any host 192.168.43.10
access-list lwapp permit ip host 192.168.43.10 any
capture wlc access-list lwapp interface outside
Where 192.168.43.10 is the IP-address of the WLC
    show capture wlc detail
gives me the packets i need to see.
On the inside of the context this gives me only join requests
On the outside of the context this gives me only the join requests
On the outside of the PIX this gives me bot the join request and the join response
The router does not have any ACL on both interfaces.
Next step is to put an ACL on the router interfaces:
    access-list 100 permit ip host 192.168.43.10 192.168.37.32 0.0.0.31 log
    access-list 100 permit ip 192.168.37.32 0.0.0.31 host 192.168.43.10 log
access-list 100 permit ip any any
this access-list is put both in- and outgoing on the interface towards the PIX. I see both counters incrementing, and with 'show logging' I see both join request and join responses.
When I place this access-list on the interface towards the FWSM, I see the same.
My conclusion is therefore: the packets are leaving the interface towards the FWSM, but they do not arrive on the outside of the FW-context.
HOWEVER: I can access switches with SSH in the same subnet (they have their management IP in that same subnet).
From the WLC, I can ping the LAPs (there are 2 in that subnet at the moment).
Because the join response is not received, the LAPs are continuously rebooting (being reachable during 20-30 seconds), but during this interval, I can ping them from the WLC.
On the firewalls all needed protocols are allowed through.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
    TIA,
    Marcel

I found the issue, while sniffing the traffic on the LAP VLAN.
It appears the WLC is discovered using the management IP-address (43.10 in my case), but the join response is coming from the AP-manager IP address (43.25). That second address was blocked by the firewall, and once allowed, all worked like a charm.
It appears the capture option of the FWSM is not as reliable as a sniffer on a SPAN port (thank you, Mike!)
    Marcel

To the best of my knowledge neither one of us have had any updates in a while. Below are the details for the error, but it doesn't mean a lot to me. Does anyone have any suggestions for correcting the problem?
    Regards,
    Erik

    Hi Erik,
The Log does show that the Buddy changes the SIP port it is trying to use further down the Log.
There is also no mention of a Ping.
iChat sends a Ping and your routing device has to allow these.
Presumably you have System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming set to 1.5mbps at both ends and you have tried changing the Login port to 443
If it was working then it come down to what might have changed.
Check System Preferences > Sharing that Internet Sharing has not bee turned On (It should be Off)

  • SOAP -  Not Receiving Response (Using WS-Security)

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where XI is invoking a web service with an external party (using receiver SOAP Adapter) and expects a response message. Unfortunately I am not receiving the response message nor any error messages.
I am using WS-Security so I sign and encrypt the data before sending, additionally when sending the data it is sent over HTTPS, which makes debugging very difficult (i.e. cant use packet sniffer)
To try and debug the situation I have got XI to send to a local server over HTTP (knowing this will fail with the response message) but since XI does the HTTP POST and I have a packet sniffer running I can get the request payload that XI sends. I then send this myself from my own machine (not from XI) to the external party's webservice using debugging tools and I receive a valid SOAP response from the external web service.
I just cant figure out why XI is not receiving the response, in the message log the last lines I have are:
03.08.2007 23:24:48 Success SOAP: apply Web Services Security...
03.08.2007 23:24:48 Success SOAP: Web Services Security applied.
When checking the message the QoS is set to BE, and as far as I know everything is set right I just cant figure out why there is no response in XI
    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

For anyone who is also experiencing this issue I logged a note to SAP and have received a response.
It appears that in the WS-Security header on the response message from the external party they are including a "SignatureConfirmation" node. XI doesn't understand the signature confirmation on a response to a synchronous request. In the XI trace logs you can see the request was received with a HTTP 200 OK but nothing happens with the message from here, the request message will remain on delivering for many hours...
SAP advised that a patch will be released which is what I am waiting on, or the alternate solution is to get the party sending the response to not return a SignatureConfirmation node back (unfortunately the party I am communicating with were unable to do this)
    Hope this helps someone!
    Chris

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
If I have understood you properly, to do that, you have to create a new administrator user with your name and for your uses. Follow these steps:
    1. Open System Preferences > Users & Groups, and press the + button to create a new administrator account.
    2. When you have finished creating that user, open  > Log Out, and log in your new user.
    3. Open System Preferences > Users & Groups, select the old user and press the - button to remove the user. If you want, you can select the option to remove the Home folder of this user, so you will only have the Home folder for your account

It's hard to give accurate advise without knowing exactly which iMac model you have?
However, beware that your iMac must meet both Processor and RAM requirements.
OS X Lion - Technical Specifications
    General requirements
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    2GB of memory
    OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
    7GB of available space
Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.
Also note that while 2GB of RAM is the minimum requirment, you will be much happier with 4 GB or more.

  • I am not receiving texts unless they are a response to a text I send.

A friend of mine sent me a text that I did not receive. I thought that was strange so I texted her asking her to resend. She replied to my text and I received it but then she sent a new text adn I did not receive it. We tried multiple times and I never received a text from her unless it was a reply. She also has an iPhone but she has iMessage turned off and mine is turned on.
I also did not receive a group text from someone else. They do not have an iPhone.
I tried signing in and out of iMessage. I got stuck on "activating" so I ended up backing up my phone and reseting everything so I could sign back into iMessage.
Please help me figure out why I'm not receiving some texts.
    Thank you!!

Alll I can say is try to reset your iphone like, taking out the sims card. ALso try loging out of your Facetime and your email on your phone, telll me if that works, and did you try connecting Apple Support Team?

  • Calendar Server user can not receive external invites

    Hi,
We have a MacPro running ML Server 10.8.5 with 10 user accounts using the calendar and file server services.
Calendar server is where the issue is. We have 10 + users that are set up to send and receive external invites in calendar server without a problem. Recently, one of the user accounts stopped receiving external invites. The problem began not long after I set up a second account for the same user for their shared calendars (they requested this so all shared cals were not on their iOS devices). Although I used a separate email, it was an alias of the first so may have caused a conflict / problem (?). I got rid of the second account with no change to the first.
The account still receives invites from the other internal user accounts and the other services such as file sharing are unaffected. There are no other problems with the functionality of that user, in calendar or otherwise.
I have tried changing the email associated with that user account and setting up a new test user account (in Server). The email invite will still not come through.
I have changed it back to the way it was originally.
    Summary
One of 10 user accounts does not receive external invites
    Was working until recently
The account can send invites to external addresses
Same email address will not work even when associated with a different account
I have included a large section of the calendar error log from the part that references the email address (in red) attached to the user account in question. Apologies, I am not familiar with deciphering this information. That is why I've come here.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks so much for your comment ~morgen.
Sorry, I should have mentioned, that it what my first thought so I tested by ensuring the email address associated with the user account (not hosted on the server but by Google Apps) is recieving all other mail.
    I have also tried:
    - Setting all accounts (calendar, email and contact card with associated email address) in another local user on a defferent Mac. So it's not a local user or Mail app issue.
    - Sending invites from different Calendar apps and email accounts - iCloud, Gmail (both using Apple Calendar and the web interface).
That's why I came back around to thinking it must be calendar server related. However is there is absolutly no conntact with the server with incoming email invites I must be looking in the wrong place (and the wrong forum - sorry!).
Does anyone have any ideas where I should be focusing my efforts?
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Not Receiving Text (SMS) Messages (On Rogers Network)

I have recently been experiencing trouble with my iPhone 4s. I would send text messages, however, the recipient would receive them, text me back and I would not get their texts back. After a few days or so, I would receive all the texts I did not receive in bulks. This has happened a few times already. My friends/family members who own a Blackberry have been receiving a notification that there is network congestion. (However, iPhone or Android users do not receive the same notification). No one I know is experiencing the same problem as I am.
I am on the Rogers network, texting phones (Blackberrys, iPhones, Androids) on the Fido, Rogers, Telus and Bell networks.
Is this a network problem or a phone problem?

I am having the exact problem - also a Rogers Customer with an iPhone 4S.   The rest of my family have Blackberrys (on Rogers, and Koodo).    When they text or BBM each other they each receive each others messages immediately.    When I try to text them, most times they receive the text after a delay which can be several minutes or up to a few hours.   Oddly, when they respond to the text, I receive the response immediately.
I believe this to be a hardware related issue, and am trying to isolate when it happens.    BTW - I get a similar problem with email - where it will not send and eventually goes to the outbox.    I have to resend and sometimes have to disconnect from the network (by turning on Airplane Mode) then re-connect before the emails get sent.
BTW, I am not running IOS 6 yet because I do not want to lose Google maps.   Running - 5.1.1

  • PO not received but billed and then billed po line cancelled

    Dear All,
I came up with one scenario where user has cancelled a po line which was not received but fully billed. This PO was having only one line.
This po was autocreated from purchase requisition. Now user wants to add again same line from PR. but this PR is not available in autocreate pool.
He thought might be PO line was billed so PR is not available in the autocreate pool so he cancelled the invoice created against that PO line. But still PR is not available in autocreate pool and PR shows same PO number associated with it.
Now question is in this scenario how same PR line can be added in the same PO? and
How to deal in this scenario when po has only one line and was fully billed without any receiving and it got cancelled then how we can bring PR in autocreate pool?
    Appreciate your answers and advices.....
    Regards,
    Kutub

    Dear Emm,
Thanks for the response and apologies for delay in reply.
It is confirmed that PO line is cancelled.
There are two question now one is how come system is allowing to cancel a PO line which is matched and billed?
second is if PO line is cancelled why related PR is not available in autocreate pool?

  • Switched from iPhone 4 to Samsung Galaxy S4 and am not receiving iPhone text messages...

    Hello,
I recently switched from the iPhone 4 to the Samsung Galaxsy S4 and am no longer able to receive text messages from other iPhone users. I have combed the forums looking for a solution and so far have come up empty handed. What seems to be working for others is not working for me. Here is what I've tried so far:
Turned on my old iPhone and iPad, went into settings and turned off iMessage, removed iCloud, disabled FaceTime, and disabled my AppleID in the iTunes & App Store settings. I do not own any other devices that could be using my Apple ID.
I logged into Apple's Apple ID software and unregistered both devices from my Apple ID account.
I logged into iTunes and changed my Apple ID, address, removed credit card info, and deactivated all accounts attached. I even deleted any backups that were stored. It's basically a generic account now with no information relevant to my old account.
I went to the Apple Store and they suggested this was a problem with AT&T...
I spent hours on the phone with AT&T... they directed me to Apple, do you feel my pain?
I'm losing my mind here, I'm on call 24/7 for my job and rely on emergency call out text messages for critical incident situations. I am not getting those messages because they are being sent from an iPhone based system. If anyone has any additional information on this I'd really appreciate it, I can't afford to wait 45 days for Apple to recognize I am no longer using the Apple ID associated.
    Thanks for your time,
    ~J

    Hi Chris,
Thanks for the response. I contacted Apple at the link you listed and spoke with a representative. We walked through the steps I took in my first post above to ensure I had done them correctly. He didn't offer any new suggestions other than making sure my contacts turn on their MMS before texting me.
Unfortunately that is not working either. I tested this with several friends and I am still not receiving their messages. They get a response immediately upon texting me that says the message was undeliverable. They are able to receive my messages, I just don't get theirs.
    Any other ideas?
It's mind boggling that Apple has made this such a difficult transition. There should not be repurcussions for choosing to discontinue the use of their product. The only other thing I can think to do is have my service provider change my phone number... what a nightmare.

  • Exchange 2013 SP1 users not receiving quota warning email message

    Hi,
We are on Exchange 2013 SP1 and Exchange 2010 SP3 co-existence mode and currently migrating users from Exchange 2010 to 2013.  We have noticed that users are not receiving email message when their mailbox quota warning when its near to maximum limit.
If I log in via OWA it shows the notification (Pop up) that your mailbox is almost full but no message received in email.  Most of the users do not log into OWA but only uses Outlook.
It looks like other people are also seeing this similar issue but I am unable to find any solution for it.
How users will know if their mailbox is almost full if they are traveling and only using Mobile phone for emails to send and receive.
    Thanks,
    Raman
