XI SRM Integration Scenarios for ShoppingCart model

We've loaded the XI content for SRM (XI7_0_SRM_SERVER_7.xxxx) from the sap marketplace and reviewed the data types, messages, and interfaces. It appears there are no pre-built integration scenarios associated with a Shopping Cart model (Purchase Orders, Advance shipment notice, etc). Does a set of pre-built integration scenarios exist, or are these generally built manually? We are going to be pushing purchase orders from ECC to SUS in most of our scenarios. Thanks in advance.

Hi Brian,
You will have to use the standard XI scenario - " Plan driven procurement with supplier enablement" for document exchange between ECC & SUS.
This will help u push ur PO's from ECC to SUS.
Thanks

    2.      Integration Directory: Define the interface determination.
    Note the following:
    ○     The outbound interface of the multi-mapping must be entered as the sender interface in the key of the interface determination.
    ○     The interface determination type must be set to Enhanced.
    ○     Select the multi-mapping you defined previously from the Integration Repository.
To select the interface mapping, use the input help ().
The target interfaces of the interface mapping are displayed in the Inbound Interfaces frame.
The number of messages (for an inbound interface) created in the mapping step is displayed in the Occurrence column.

Is there any documentation on the Integration Scenarios for BAS Postal Validation, and Duplicate-Check and Error-Tolerant Search for ECC 5.0?
What we have is only for R3 4.6, and the behavior of business partners for ECC 5.0 is very much different as compared to R3 4.6.

  • XI Integration scenario for material replication from SRM to SRM-MDM

    Hi Guys,
We are working with the following landscape:
    SRM Server 5.5
    ECC 6.0
    SRM-MDM 5.5 SP6
    PI 2005_1_700 SP0006
I have a question for you about replication of the material master form SRM EBP to SRM-MDM.
In XI we are trying to configure this scenario. For this we have imported the following XI Content:
    - SAP SRM Server 5.5
    - SAP SRM-MDM 2.0
We have the following problem; that when tring to configure the this scenario we are getting GUID errors. Probable because some XI content is missing. In the SRM-MDM 2.0 XI content we also see that SRM 6.0 scenario's are avilable in the currenlty imported XI content, but when clicking on 'Edit action' in these scenario's we are getting the following error:
"Software component version with GUID XXXXXXXXXX... does not exists"
Can any one tell me why SRM 6.0 scenario's are availble in the XI content for SRM-MDM 2.0, and which additional XI content we need to import to get rid of these GUID error's?
Becasue of this the configuration in the Integration Directory fails.Transfering the integration scenario to the Integration directory  gives a couple of errors: "Unable to load action. Check whether all necessary actions have been released in the integration repository".
Hopefully some of you know what to do, because I am currenlty stuck....... Do we need to import additional XI content, or maybe the Xi content for SRM 6.0. If so where can I get the XI content for SRM 6.0. It is not available on the SAP Support portal as a download.
    Thx In advance.

    Wouter

    Hello all,
How can i (or is the workaround) activate a message mapping / interface mapping without configured messagemapping at "Display Message Mapping" side? When i try to activate the not already configured message mapping i get following errors: Source message missing, Target message missing, Metadata missing, Mapping not sufficiently defined.
    Cause:
First i want to build the frame at Integration Repository for the defined scenario and import at Integration Directory. Later i want to build the message mapping for the scenario.

Can Firefighter logon using the Netweaver Business Client to launch Firefighter ID?
    - No, GRAC_SPM is the way to go.
Is that mandate to use GRC system to launch Firefighter ID using GRAC_SPM transaction code? or can the user logon to local system as well?
    - Yes. However, the option would be nice to have a workaround in case GRC is down
What about Portal based system Firefighting functionality? Can we have Firefighter IDs on Netweaver Java system?
    - As far as I know only for transactional SAP systems.
Will I be able to grant a Firefighter ID to a Firefighter User on hourly basis?
    - Same as answered already  - no.
For initial setup , how the initial data load of Firefighter Ids Owners, Controllers and Firefighter Users can be done? Are there options like load from Excel or CSV available as part of setup toolset?
    - Same as answered already  - no.

  • Configuration Scenario for BPM Using Integration Scenario

    hi All,
I Have an Scenario where i am using BPM. Most of the blog tells about manually creating all Configuration objects. I had created an Integration Scenario for this scenario by referring to the earlier threads available for same.
Hoe to Create Integration Scenario for BPM Scenario
Integration Scenario in BPM  and few more.
    My IS looks like
Sender App Component - Integration Process - Receiver App Component
Now when i am trying to create Configuration scenario for same using model configurator, i am getting Model as "Not Configurable"
And when i click "Configurability Check" Button, i am getting below as status:
Component view IS_POC_BPM: Connection from receivePayload to getABSPayload does not have an inbound service interface
Component view IS_POC_BPM : Connection from sendABSPayload to getPayload has no outbound interface
getABSPayload and sendABSPayload are actions for Abstract interfaces.
IS_POC_BPM is the Integration Process Name.
Also in Integration Scenario, when i create connection between sender action to BPM action there is no inbound interface coming. And viceversa.
Please help me in identifying if i am doing any thing wrong in creating this scenario.
Is it possible to create Configuration Scenario for BPM Using Integration Scenario?
    Thanks,
    Mayank

I think you shoudl refer the available Integration Scenarios created for BPMs in IR --> SAP BASIS --> http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Patterns
Sender template will have the Action with Outbound Service Interface and then in the BPM Template the action will have Inbound Interface.....then within the BPM itself this inbound will be mapped to Action with Abstract Interface
may be after looking the Integration scenarios you will get more idea

  • Doubt in Integration Scenario

    Hi All,
I wuld like to know whether  I can  create a Integration Scenario after completing the Configuration steps (eventhough it doesnt make much sense)

    Hi Aarthi,
Its not mandatory to create the integration scenario.
The integration Scenario in IR will be useful for re-presenting the whole flow of the interface.
If you do the itegration scenrio in Design time then you do not need to follow the stpes which is required in configuration like creating Aggrement, determination and all. you just need to import the scenario from integration repository that will avoid configure part.
Usually during the audit time the auditor checks whether IS is designed or not? as that is the good practive to design ur scenario with IS.
    Companion Guide to Integration scenario
    /people/venkat.donela/blog/2006/02/17/companion-guide-to-integration-scenario
It will be good loaction to get all the information about whole interface.
You could either create or transport the same Integration scenario in ID.
With the use of Integration scenario you could model the whole interface with all minute details
It comes under best practices. So if you create the IS it will be very easy for you to understand the and designe the business flow. Morevere becomes very easy while creating/configuring the Integration Directory, you just need to import the design objects form IR.
If you will not create IS, there is no harm. So it all depends upon client and also you.
    Thanks,
    Vijaya.

  • Integration Scenarios & Integration Processes

Can somebody please explain me what are the "Actions" and "Integration Scenarios" for in Integration Scenarios & Integration Processes? I understand that " Integration Processes" is for creating BPM processes.

    HI Vijay
    Please see the below links.
    For Actions :
An action represents a function within an application component that is not subdivided further. Actions subdivide the process flow of an integration scenario
Internal Actions : Defined for a ‘separate’ software component version.
You can use internal actions in application components (of type Product Version or Main Instance) that (by using the product version) contain the same software component version in which the action is implemented.
External Actions : Defined for a software component version of a partner or for templates. You can use external actions in application components (of type Template or Product Version) that (by using the product version) contain the same software component version in which the integration scenario is implemented.
    Two XIu0092s in same scenario
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/68/88a440df800160e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    For Integration Scenario :
An integration scenario completely models the exchange of messages for a collaborative process and provides an overview of the process flow. The integration scenario provides you with a central point of access for all objects that you require for semantic and technical integration

  • R/3 u2013 XI u2013 MDM integration scenario - Standard import Maps problem

    Hi Data Masters,
We are working on R/3 u2013 XI u2013 MDM integration scenario for Vendor Object. We have extracted main table Data using u201CMDM_CLNT_EXTRu201D program. Now while importing the data in MDM we want to use u201CStandard business content i.e. Standard Import Maps (Name u2013 cremdm - 03 u201D but this maps are not mapping all the fields. So do we need to extend this maps..??
OK. Second, To create own maps we are facing following problems,
    1)     In source section many fields are reflecting twice means in two segments i.e. LFA1 and ADRMAS like Name, City, Street, country etcu2026 whereas in Target section we have one field for the same so how to maps this fields.
    2)     In source, There are few fields like ADRNR which have values but in target we donot have any fields to map for the same, so how to handle thisu2026
    Helpful answers will be rewarded,

  • Integration scenario in XI Content Package (Certification)

    Hi,
During the design of an integration scenario for certication of XI-Content you have to define the application components. Should all application components be defined as "templates"???
In my case I have to define an integration scenario between an SAP product/component (not part of the SLD) and a third party software...
    Thanks and regards!

    Hi Christian,
if you use standard IDoc's delivered by SAP you should take them from software component SAP APPL (in case of R/3 IDoc's). If you need to use them in a BPM scenario, just create a dependency to this software component. Without BPM the dependency is not necessary.
If your IDoc's are specific to the industry solution O&G, the IDoc's are probably not yet uploaded by SAP. In this case you should contact ICC and the will take care of this issue (either they make sure that the IDoc's are available by SAP or they tell you to upload them into your SWC).
