Xi to bw without proxies

hai all,
Is there any chance to send data from soap to xi to bw and get the response from bw to xi to soap without proxies. if there is any chance to do that please explain step by step. but the data is in infocube in bw.
Thanks
Peddarapu

hai,
why no proxies means xi and bw in same client and same landscape so basis people told that in local we cannot do the proxy communication. if there is any information please farward to me.
thanks.

  • Without Proxies

Hello, I'm using .NET connector to invoke SAP RFC. I want to know if is there any posibility to use it without proxies. I don't want to generate one proxy for each BAPI I need a more generic method.
Any idea or information will be very wellcome.
    Thanks

No - NCo doesn't support generic call.
You can use the Soap Processor (6.20 and higher) or Web Service feature (Netweaver 2004 and higher) to get the WSDL at runtime, create a .NET proxy dynamically, and reflect it to do the dynamic call. XI would be also an option.

  • Searching for clips without proxies

When I first installed my FCSvr I managed to jam it up several times with some impossible scans that froze it up in the middle of uploading projects. I had to restart the server several times until I realized what I was doing wrong. These projects now have lots of video assets that have no proxies, just a poster frame. I can select the asset and select "analyze" and FCSvr creates an edit proxy and all is well. Unfortunately you can only select one file at a time and do this. Is there a way to select a large number of assets and get them all to create proxies (great time to do this while the studio is empty for the holiday weekend). Is there a way to scan for assets with no proxy?

Actually, there are many ways, without having to go through the tedious process in the client GUI. Depending on what state your assets are in, the proxies may be "missing" or may not have ever been linked to the original asset.
If the proxies are missing, run this on the command line of your Final Cut Server box:
    fcsvr_client search /asset | awk \/asset/\ '{ print "sudo fcsvr_client listparentlinks --linktype 4 "$1" | grep \"DESC_STATUS: missing\"| fcsvr_client analyze "$1 }' | sh
If proxies were not ever linked to the assets in the first place, you can modify the command above to work for this case also:
    fcsvr_client search /asset | awk \/asset/\ '{ print "sudo fcsvr_client listparentlinks "$1" | grep \"Original\" | grep -v \"Proxy\" | fcsvr_client analyze "$1" "}' | sh
    I hope that helps!

  • System wide proxy settings without gnome and kde

    Hi,
    this is my software stack:
    linux
    X
    openbox
    chromium
my university had the great idea to cencor and filter the internet so that students can't do bad stuff and besides that can't do anything at all. They even block ping and ssh connections.. but that's another story.
here are my problems with that:
chomium devs seem to live in a very small world in which only kde and gnome exist, because these envirenments are the only way to let chromium know that it should use a proxy server.
I've written a small script that works perfectly for most of my stuff. here it is:
    $ cat ~/.proxyon
    export http_proxy='proxy.fh-brandenburg.de:3128'
    export https_proxy='proxy.fh-brandenburg.de:3128'
    export ftp_proxy='ftp-proxy.fh-brandenburg.de:21'
    export socks5_proxy='socks5-proxy.fh-brandenburg.de:1080'
    export HTTP_PROXY=http_proxy
    export HTTPS_PROXY=https_proxy
    export FTP_PROXY=ftp_proxy
    export SOCKS5_PROXY=socks5_proxy
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy autoconfig-url 'http://proxy.fh-brandenburg.de/proxy.pac'
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy mode 'manual'
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.http enabled true
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.http host 'proxy.fh-brandenburg.de'
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.http port 3128
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.https host 'proxy.fh-brandenburg.de'
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.https port 3128
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.ftp host 'ftp-proxy.fh-brandenburg.de'
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.ftp port 21
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.socks host 'socks5-proxy.fh-brandenburg.de'
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy.socks port 1080
    gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy ignore-hosts "['localhost', '127.0.0.0/8', '*.fh-brandenburg.de' ]"
to start chromium i've made another script to test the proxy behavier:
    $ cat ~/start_chromium.sh
    source ~/.proxyon && echo $http_proxy && chromium
This should work because I set every proxy variable I'm aware of and the script spits out the correct proxy server but chromium still don't uses any proxies. Does anyone have a solution to this? I'm out of ideas..

delta24 wrote:Try creating a script in /etc/profile.d named proxy.sh having all the proxy config.
The behavier I want to achieve is that I can hot swap proxy and non proxy networks without restarting the browser. This works under gnome because chromium reads the proxy config from gconf which gets updated on network change but this doesn't work without gnome.
Most of the time I'm on networks without proxies. Only in university I need them. A simple switch to activate them when needed would be nice.

  • XI to XI connectivity

    Hi All,
I would like to setup a connection between 2 XI systems for the following scenario:
1: SAP sends iDoc to XI1.
2: XI1 routes the iDoc to XI2 (no mapping is required)
3: XI2 receives the iDoc, maps the iDoc to a file and sends the file to the target system
What is the best way to setup Step 2 where XI1 routes the iDoc to XI2 (no mapping is required) ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi,
This can be achieved without proxies as well.
XI2 is just like any other system,
So based on the fact whether XI2 is a part of your SLD or not, you can configure (In XI1)  a 'party' or 'service without party' and use "XI ADAPTER" to connect the XI2
with the path as '/sap/xi/engine?type=entry', because of this there is NO other sender adapter settings to be done in XI2. you can create the reciever determination with the sending 'party' or 'service' of XI1 (which ever is appropriate)in your XI2.
Also, you need to arrange for the Certificates of XI2 and put in STRUST of your XI1, so the mesgs would be transmitted without any error. These are some of the specific settings, other normal settings/configurations are as like for anyother system.
    Hope this helps.

  • "system-wide" proxy ?

I might not have the terminology quite right on this, I'm far from being an expert on the subject. That's why I'm turning to you guys !!!!!!!!!
I'm currently tethering my iPhone's connection via an app called PDANet which allows the computer to connect to a sort of 'wifi router' via an ad-hoc connection. While this doesn't quite work as they advertise it to (probably something I'm not doing that's getting auto 'automagically' in Windows/OS X), I am able to 'connect' to my iPhone and get offered an IP back when this app is running. I then launch the small socks server from the iPhone's term and voila I can use it to browse the tubes in firefox (with the proper settings).
Which is what brings me to my question: using this connection to my socks5 server running on my iPhone, I can resolve names and do http, at least. I'm just wondering, why this could be not set up as a 'system wide' service. In other words, all apps that want to connect to a certain IP/domain to a certain port, will do so as they always do. In other words why can't I set up a sort of service or daemon that uses this socks5 connection to the iPhone and sends back the data to the apps? As if my nameserver were the IP on the iPhone ? Or would I need something else running on the phone to provide that capability ?
Right now, when I dhcpcd, I get my IP from the iPhone, but nothing gets written in /etc/resolv.conf. I can only ping the iPhone's IP (which is the one I use to connect via proxy in firefox), and what I can only assume is my phone's IP on the 3G network, which starts with 10 (if that means anything to you experts.)....
Anyway, I'd like your thoughts on this..

  • System wide proxy audit

    Hi,
Can a system wide audit setting be created for a proxy user?
In short, can there be a audit action entry in the DBA_STMT_AUDIT_OPTS table where the USER_NAME field has a NULL value and the PROXY_NAME field has some username?
    Thanks,

  • What can I do in order to view websites which have been bloked by government such as YouTube and FaceBook. Thank you so very much for your help.

The government has blocked numerous websites in Iran making it almost impossible to surf without proxies. But I have heard that FireFox can be adjusted to avert such problems. Thank you in advance for your kind attention.

It probably won't help - but try Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Also run the Apple Hardware Test
Removing dust etc is a good idea, so long as you're careful... but get the correct screwdriver first & read about the process at iFixit or similar sites.

  • Can't access certain Google sites (youtube and google-analytics)

I can't access Youtube or goole-analytics in Safari or in Firefox. In Safari, I get an error saying that Safari could not contact the server. Here are more symptoms:
    - A ping from Terminal works. The site responds.
    - No change when firewall is turned off.
    - No change when LittleSnitch is turned off.
    - No change when all settings in Safari are reset.
    - google.com works fine.
    - yahoo.com works fine.
    - Other video sites work fine - only youtube is affected.
    - Youtube videos linked on other web sites do not work.
    - In Safari I get a blank window - no text at all.
    - In Firefox I get text but no videos at all - but the page never fully loads.
    - Parental controls are off.
    - I connect to the internet without proxies - ie. there are no proxy settings.
    - I have installed the latested versions of Flash and Shockwave.
I have seen a lot of messages regarding this problem. Does anyone know about the cause ? Some people have noted the problem started with the beta version of Safari v4. If so, why would that stop Firefox from working ?
It's not a big deal but this is really bugging me. Why would all web acess be lost ?
    Thanks
    Garry

    Great news Garry, thanks!
DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
Problems are that many Modems/Routers don't communicate the DNS Servers with macs all that well because they've made mistakes in their Firmware & by golly by gee, they tell MS about the workaround!
Then, many... even major ISPs have DNS problems and may have not even patched them against DNS poisoning!
Those numbers are in the US, and there may or may not be faster ones in your area, but I doubt there'll be and better more reliable ones!

  • Why does it take so long to access older messages on this site?

Just curious, but why does it take so long to access the older messages
(and related responses) on this site?
When I do a search, the list of results comes up immediately, but when
I click on an entry to see the full message I run into problems. If
the entry is relatively new (say less than six months old), the full
message and related responses displays within seconds, but if it is
old than that, it can take up to 15 minutes or more to display
    everything.
I have tried different browser, different operating systems, with and
without proxies and firewalls, on T1, on DSL, on dial-up, and the same
    thing always happens.
Anyone know what is causing this, and a way I can fix it?
    Thanks

Hey that happens to me too....I think they are archived a different way then the new post, so it takes longer to retrieve them.

  • Develop application for java  Monitoring and Management

    hi
i would like to develop an application that enables me to monitor and manage Java applications and instead of using jconsole ormc4j
please can you tell mz how to start

The various general JMX clients such JConsole, [MC4J|http://mc4j.org/confluence/display/mc4j/Home] (the tool referenced with "or mc4j" above), VisualVM, and jManage all use the same approach for remote JMX management that you can use ([JSR 160|http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=160]).
Some useful resources include the [Java Tutorial on JMX Remote Management|http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/jmx/remote/index.html], [Remote JMX: Connectors and Adapters|http://marxsoftware.blogspot.com/2008/08/remote-jmx-connectors-and-adapters.html], and [Remote JMX: With and Without Spring and Proxies|http://marxsoftware.blogspot.com/2008/06/remote-jmx-with-and-without-spring-and.html] (focus on non-Spring clients with and without proxies).

  • Unreasonable render times - What's wrong?

I have an iMac with the i7 processor, 12 Gig of memory and the high end graphics card.
I have a 20 SECOND video I am sending out to render for an AppleTV (second Gen/720) device. Thus far, it has taken over 10 minutes and it is less than 1/4 rendered. Seriously? FinalCutPro X didn't take this long to "render" it to 442 to view it full quality in the editor.
This can not be right. I spent $2500 on this "fireball" and this is the best I can do with a 20 second video? I am going to be working on full length films and 20 minute long videos. If this render time is standard, I will be waiting for days to render a film to just an AppleTV format.
This simply can not be right. How do I tell what's clogging this up?

This simply can not be right. How do I tell what's clogging this up?
    no, not standard.
on my ol' MacMini C2D/8GB a Project gets exported within 'real time'.
    but ....
render-time is determined by two factors:
    • is your 'system set-up' ok? you have blazing fast hardware, but is the rest in perfect/intended shape? all apps on intended location? all data in intended location? ... hard to tell from remote. a very nice common mistake for example is, to install an 'OS partition' on the internal hard-drive (for whatever reason ...) - if this partition is too small, doesn't offer enough room for the OS and apps to 'breath', esp. encoding instantly needs hours ... there're many other 'mistakes' optional ....
    • complexiity of Project: a multi-layerd timeline with -zillions of effects, color corrections etc etc needs some rendertime - for my hobbyist's projects (max two tracks, some re-timing for slowmos, custom made titles/transitions) this usually happens in the background. I'm actually helping someone with a 4min 'music video' on an i5 Mac, 4-7layered multicam clips, and even without proxies we happily work in real-time.
    hard to tell from remote.
you like to add a full screen screenshot of your Project/FCPX?

  • Consuming a webservice in ABAP ECC 6.0 without using XI/ PI

    Hi Experts,
I wanted to consume an external webservice without using XI / PI.After doing my homework and search on sdn I came to know that we can consume webservices in ABAP using proxies using SE80(Enterprise Services).
I am trying to create a client proxy with the URL of webservice. It asks me the option to choose between URL or HTTP.
I am selecting URL and in the second screen it asks about the package details and after that it finishes.Later I get an error message stating "NO VENDOR SPECIFIED".Its not allowing me to create a proxy.
    So, here are my questions.
Does anyone faced the same kind of problem?
Can we really consume a webservice without using XI / PI or any other middleware?
Is it possible to consume the webservice only with URL or WSDL file ?
Please let me know the exact process.
    Thanks in Advance.

  • Cloud with Proxies - Proof and solution

    Hi all,
I've struggled with this issue for a while, and read many similar posts from those having the same issue. I have found a solution that worked for me and hopefully others.
Essentially, although the Application Manager and other utilities appear to function properly inside a corporate network, the "phone home" services fail to connect, and leave you with an "expired subscription" or various messages similar to "You're not connected to the internet" and so on.
Adobe adamantly states that the software is "Proxy-aware" so there must be other unresolvable issues, and you should kindly ask your IT team to deactivate firewalls, proxies, virus-protection, etc... (yea, right...). You could also request adding exceptions to 6 or so activation servers on a range of ports, which still doesn't work, and take 6 months and 5 levels of management approval.
In reality, "proxy-aware" is only partly accurate, as shown in the graphic below. I monitored PDApp.exe (Adobe Application Manager) with the ProcessExplorer tool (Windows, sysinternals) while doing several network-active tasks to see where the traffic was being routed.
So, PDApp.exe gets correctly routed via my proxy server for installing apps, running updates, and logging in to the app when opening it up.
However, when getting "Subscription Expired" and "Unable to connect to the internet" and clicking "Try Again" or "Licence this Software", the proxy is ignored and the app attempts to connect directly to ims-na1.adobelogin.com, which fails.
The worst part of this was I went through the 5 levels of management approval and so on to get the two servers Adobe states you need access to for Cloud added as exceptions to our firewall(https://activate.adobe.com and https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/, on ports 23, 80 and 443), and still got nowhere, because without ims-na1.adobelogin.com, you can't proceed past the screen above.
    Now, for my solution:
I searched for software that would force a program to use a specific proxy. I came across lots, I have to experience with these so I can't vouch for any particular one, but I chose "Proxifier". (They have one that doesn't require an installer for those who don't have local admin rights.) This one is a trial, I'm sure there are free ones as well, just search a bit more.
The proxy server address can be deduced from watching working software traffic in Process Explorer (right click on "Internet Explorer" and got to properties, then TCP/IP, I could see the proxy being addressed under "Remote address", as see in the graphics above). Alternatively just ask your IT team.
I won't get into how to set up the software, read it's help files; what you want is to take any communications from PDApp.exe that are NOT already destined to your proxy server's address and send them to your proxy server's address. (this is important - some communications from PDApp are proxy-aware and redirecting them will cause them to fail)
Hopefully this helps a few people. Despite the issues I love Adobe's software, and am happy I am using it again.

Thanks for taking a read Jeff, and passing along the information.
My company uses an ISA proxy server (HTTP protocol)
Like many such systems, ISA server does not allow SSL tunnels to ports other than 443 and 563 by default (PDApp attempts to use ports 80 and 8080). The reasoning is that SSL tunnels bypass security policy rules and inspection and therefore creates a security risk, which is taken quite seriously (especially with a company this size (37,000+). Check out http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc302684.aspx for more detail.
As an addendum to the initial post, it is critical that the IT team allows SSL tunnels to the required ports. I hadn't noticed this originally as the policy was adjusted to allow access to the addresses Adobe originally provided.
I might add a disclaimer that the software mentioned above and similar can also be used to try and circumvent a company's internet security policies, so make sure you can demonstrate that it is being used to force the proxy server rather than avoid it!
