XL Reporter Amount not Showing same value in JDT1

Dear Expert,
The client currently have a report in Balance Sheet XL Report but the amount shown is not the same as the amount in SAP Account Balance.
Example:
Per JDT1 (based on the query generator)
                      Summary of Debits = 12,450,250.07
                      Summary of Credits = 12,450,250.07
                      Total Amount    = -.01
Per Account balance
                        Account balance = -.01
Per XL Report (Amount)     = 0.16
I tried to get the debit and credit in XL Reporter and give me the following result making the balance to .16
                    Debits = 12,450,250.23
                    Credit = 12,450,250.07
SAP Version = 8.81 PL 08
BAsed on this I think XL reporter is giving wrong amount.
Is there anything that we can do to correct this?

Check the condition type configuration. in the calculation type give the indicator as B- Fixed amount
the copy control seems to be correct.

Using transactio code to execute a report does not show default value

Hi all ,
I have given a default value of a field on my selection-screen by initialization in a hr report .
I am using PNP database and default selction-screen in hr report category .
While the report is working fine while executing directly , It is not showing default value when executed through a transaction code .
Can any body tell why it is so ?

BPC 5 MS version -Park and Go Offline Report is not showing any values

Hello Everyone,
I have some reports that I created using EVGTS and EVDES in BPC and need to send to users who are not connected to BPC. I have attempted to save the reports via park and go with the offline option selected so that the report would not be connected to BPC. The users came back to me saying that when they opened the reports all of the cells are showing #Name instead of the values when they open the reports. I have saved the reports to my desktop then closed out of BPC totally and opened the reports in native Excel and they display fine on my desktop. I then sent the offline report to my personal email address and opened it on my laptop which doesn't have a BPC installed on it and I got the same error as my users. We are close to go live and will definitely need to have this functionality working for the reports in Excel to be distributed to a lot of users who are will not have access to BPC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you searched on the support site for any notes on this? I have had similar problems, related to specific builds of BPC 5.1 and specific versions of MS Excel.
I'd recommend you file a message with SAP Support, indicating the specific versions of Excel for which the report does work offline (your own machine, apparently) and does not work.
I know that a few BPC versions ago, the park-and-go feature definitely worked when sending the Excel file to a user without the BPC client installed. It's possible that this is no longer true, but I wasn't aware of the change.

Statistical condition type is not showing same value

Dear All,
I have one issue related with pricing condition that i want to use one statistical condition type ZEM1 suppose 100 INR which is entered manually at the contract level for suppose 10 qty but when i am creating the First sales order for 5 qty with reference to contract ,the ZEM1 condition is copied 100 INR and in second sales order for remaining 5 qty it is distributed with quantity and showing value 50 INR.But my requirement is such that i want the condition value of ZEM1 should appeare as 100 INR from contract to billing level for every sales cycle.Is it any way to make the condition type such that it will have the same value suppose 100 INR from contract to billing doc for every sales orders.
I maintained the copying control pricing type as "D" for S.Doc to S.Doc.

Profit center report S_E38_98000088 not showing periodic values

Dear colleagues,
In ECC6.0/new GL we are trying to use report S_E38_98000088 to display Actual/Plan values for a specific month, but it looks like the system will always show a cumulative value since the beginning of the fiscal year.
We enter the following on the selection screen:
Currency type: 10
Company code: XXXX
Account number: XXXXXXXX
Ledger: 0L
Controlling area: XXXX
Plan version: 1
Fiscal year: 2011
From Period: 4
To period: 4
Profit Center: XXXXXXX
But when we execute the report, and srill down to the line item level, we see that the report picks up all posting in 2011 instead of 04.2011 only.
The same happens if we try to execute the report for 12.2010 - it will select all postings in 2010.
Anyone knows why is it working like that and how can I display a specific period?

Dear Yoel,
Is the normal behavior of the trx for balance accounting, show us cummulative values.
For P&L accounting the filter for periods works well.

Cash Positions report FF7A not showing any values

Hi,
Can someone help on why none of the Tresury Transactions are reflected in FF7A report? I have done all the configuration setting under TM-Gen Settings-Link to Cash Management-Assign Planning Levels for all the Prod Types.
Under FDFD Cash Mgmnt is active for the Co code.
Under OT05 Cash positions is ticked for both BNK and PSK.
Under OT12 respective treasury planning levels are assigned to PSK.

Thanks so much. Its working now. Earlier I had this setting for planning levels at prod type and act category level but was not working then. I did this once again and re looked at settings.
Created TRM source sybol separately
Defined Pl levels to Source Symbols
Defined new Grouping for Treasury as TRM &
in Maintain Structure added E for ++ and G for ++++++++++

Report similar to MC$4 that does not show absolute values

Hi all,
We need a report similar to Report similar to MC$4 which has the same drilldown capabilities but does not show absolute values, and instead shows the proper (actual) values.
Or if its possible to change something in the MC$4 report to show the actual values and not the absolute.

Your input criteria should contain all plant numbers and the period to be analyzed. Execute the report and then select: Plant Analysis\Export\Transfer to XXL\Deselect all options and tick Plant, Storage Location and Month. Follow the options to export to Excel. Report will be based on Plant, Storage location and Month.

Report S_ALR_87012000 Asset Register does not show correct values sums

Hi,
I've taken a look at S_ALR_87012000 transaction - Asset Register (Italy) after an Assets Data transfer and something strange happens:
1- the sum of column Depreciation for year is not correct. It is a little bit strange because the single assets depreciation for year is correct. The same problem is in report S_ALR_87011990 - Asset history sheet
2- if I put an asset number range or the asset class in the report selection screen the report does not show some of the assets included in the range or in the asset class.
Could you explain me why? Is there some program bug?

If you are executing the reports for previous / future years - execute them as of last day of the fiscal year
The execution for current year can have any date of the fiscal year for report execution

I have created a report using BI Publisher in R12. The report is not showing all the records.
I have checked the result XML it is also not having all the data. My query returns 846 rows but my report only has 662 rows.

SelectOneChoice not showing all values from database

Hi!
I have to put a list of values in my select one choice. When I do the query in database, all the values are selected. But, with the same query on JPQL, the select on choice do not show all values in database. Anyone can help me, please?
P.S.: I am using SelectOneChoice with SelectItems, in JDeveloper 11g

In your page binding check the rangesize setting for the executable you use - set it to -1.

WT reporter does not show split for tax authorities!

Dear all:
I need to report for all employees some WTs of taxes, but wt reporter does not show the splits for them (to distinguish federal from statal authorities payments), it is like summarises all the same WTs... I tried payroll recon. report but this one does not output the data in ALV format (im in 4.6 version) so it is not useful to run in bulk
Do you have any work around for this?
I would appreciate any tip or workaround on this,

1. Allocated costs are always treated as Fixed costs, unless you have booked the expenses in FI using Activity Type as Aux Account assignment object
2. Check whether these costs are included in Inventory valuation in your Cost Comp Str in OKTZ... If not relevant for inv valuation, these costs wont show up for Variance calculations

Report Painter not showing totals for some cells

Hi,
We're developing a report painter that will give us a total of all the columns. This total uses a set of variables and a set which essentially is a grouping of the profit centers. The problem is it is not showing any value on the cell. Despite the individual accounts having some values.
Any ideas where could this gone wrong ? the set exist with the correct accounts.
I.e.
A1 A2 TOTAL (A1 + A2 - defined in set)
Depreciation 100 100 200 [ but this shows blank]

how did you solve this problem,my financial statement is not reflecting total posted depreciation even though it is reflecting the depreciation in the indididual G/L accounts.

Filters not showing up values

Hi Gurus,
I am working on some reports in WAD.
I have characteristic "Region" which has 4 values like EAST,WEST,SOUTH,NORTH. This is a User Entry so I created a variable for this and it shows the values with check boxes beside it when you click on the variable entry screen input help. Once I execute the query the result is displayed. When I click on the Filter ICON on the Navigation Block for REGION it is not showing the Values for this region but just shows only 4 check boxes.
This Characteristic doesnot have master data. It is displaying the KEY values.
For the characteristics which Master Data it is showing the values both in Varaible selection screen and also in Filter Selections.
Please update me with a solution.

have you tried replacing it with the file essbase.bak_startup file, instead of the older essbase.sec file?
If you check your app folders you will still be able to see the cubes you had created its just that Essbase can't pull those up with the older .sec file.
The essbase.bak_startup file is always updated everytime the Essbase server is started up.
Be sure to take a backup of the file before starting up the server again.
The reason your essbase.sec and essbase.bak files are both corrupt is because when you first discovered that the essbase.sec file is corrupt it was when you started the server up.
What you need to keep in mind if the machine which holds the essbase server shuts down abruptly or crashes (which usually leads to the situation you are in) is to never start up the Essbase server right away, as you may have a corrupt essbase.sec file, and if you start up the server without taking a backup of the essbase.bak file you may risk corrupting the essbase.bak file as well.
This is because at start up the essbase.bak file gets replaced with the essbase.sec file.

OBI columns not showing distinct values.

Please help me out with the below issue.
I have a colulmn called Product Type. Same column is been pulled into many subject areas. In one of the subject area the column when checked for all product types, it is not showing distinct values, instead it displays multiple rows of sinlge value. Whereas in other subject areas it dsiplays distinct values.
So please help me out on this issue.

I don't think it's not an issue with not selecting "Select Distinct Value" checkbox .. because same column pulled into to other subject areas working fine. But here also sometimes it shows correct distinct value and sometimes all values(Duplicate values).

Crystal Report Images Not Showing - JSP inside /WEB-INF folder

Hi Experts,
I am using Crystal report for Eclipse and also using Struts2 and tiles framework combination.
The problem is when viewing the report all I've got is red X on all images and the graph image also not showing. This is when I use tiles and my jsp is inside the web-inf folder.
This is my struts link: href="s:url value='/report/reportOpen.action?report=1'
I've checked that the path to the viewer generated HTML is not correct. see code below.

But when I test to access a simple jsp viewer that resides on the web root folder, this works fine but of course this is not what I want to have. I need to have my banner and menus on top of the report page (using tiles)

After a few experimentation from your idea i was able to figure out the problem and now it is working.
I don't have to copy the folder to where my jsp resides but still maintains it in the root location: web/crystalreportviewers
The changes should always be in web.xml.
1st: change the crystal_image_uri value to ../crystalreportviewers
2nd: change crystal_image_use_relative value to "web"
Change to "web" instead of webapp because that is what I named my web root folder.
