XL Reporter error. Excel cannot start

Hi all, I have a SAP B1 client installed on a PC with Vista Business 32 bit OS and Excel 2007. The database server is windows server 2008 64bit. The B1 client works fine and XL reporter opens correctly.
When I try to generate a report in XLR it gives the error:
"Error starting Excel. Cause: (Set interface properties) Object variable or with block variable not set"
I have three identical machines, XLR works fine on two of them and not on the other.
I cant see any difference between the computers.
Does anyone have any experience with this error?

This error is caused by using the incorrect client. You need to use PL 46 or higher for Mssql 2008
The problem is that it is not easy to see which client install pack you are installing unless it is from the CD.
I only figured this out by looking at the file creation dates in the client install. I uniinstalled the client from the vista machine and the Win 2008 64bit Dell R710 terminal server and installed the PL 47 client from a CD. It installed fine and upgraded itself and then installed the addins.
XL Reporter worked fine then.
When setting up for the first time dont forget to enable macros in the trust centre in Excel . Select Office Button>Excel Options> Trust Centre > Trust Centre Settings > Macro Settings > Enable all macros. Also trust access to the VBA Project.
Then go to Office Button > Excel Options > Add Ins. Down the bottom choose Com add ins and select go.
If SAP B One XL Reporter is not present select ADD and navigate to C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\XLR\XLReporter\IXXLReporter.dll and OK out.
To get these Excel items to work start Excel by right clicking the Excel icon and select Run as Administrator

As, I have selected command processor and console window from the catalog item that is necessary to run the command prompt on the WinCE platform. But, when I run the command prompt I got the following error :
CMD Error
CMD cannot start. Low on memory or too many console window open. Please close the some console application and try again.
But, I only got this error when I try to open the console window second time. First time when I click, nothing appears on the screen and I try to open in second time and then I got the above error.
Any one knows the reason for the occurrence of this error???

Try changing the console output to '0' instead of COM port in registry as below.
HKey_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Console\OutputTo to 0

Error: Excel cannot complete this task with available resources

Hello -
I am encountering an error when refreshing an EvDRE report in SAP. The error message is:
Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications.
Other Info:
We are running Office 2007.
We have several modified EvDRE reports stored on our network (roughly 250 reports). I say modified because we use EvDRE to build the basic structure of the report, but then we modify it to suit our needs, but in the end, they are all EvDRE files.
File sizes range from 100 KB to 700 KB.
We have no other applications running while refreshing these reports (just Excel and SAP).
Has anyone encountered this error before?

After some trial and error, we discovered what the problem was.
It turns out, our Excel files were bigger than the actual data range.
Excel Lesson: on a spreadsheet, if you do Ctrl + End, your cursor should move to the last cell that contains data.
When we did a Ctrl + End on these files, we realized that the cursor was stopping in the far corner of the sheet u2013 completely outside the data range. So, when the refresh was called, it was trying to refresh basically the entire spreadsheet (vs. just the data range u2013 hence not enough resources).
So, to fix this, we deleted the extra rows and columns in the sheet and then ran the refresh routine again and now our files are working.
So, if you encounter this type of error, check to make sure that the u2018endu2019 of your spreadsheet is truly the end.

I have installed Oracle 9i on NT. After installation when tried to start the HTTP Server it gave an error cannot start. Any idea how to solve this error?

Start Form Builder and
then edit -->prefrence-->runtime-->set default,
change port from 8888 or 8889 to 80 or set port of his computer.

HP300 Error: BTTTRAY Cannot start Bluetooth Stack Service

Ive been getting this error for several months when I boot up. Has not been an issue but now that I bought a new Bose mini bluetooth speaker it is! Turned speaker on - HP300 "discovered it" It appears in my devices but nothing plays and I still get the same error. Any thoughts??

Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
Try the following steps and check if it works.
Step 1: Manually start the Bluetooth service.
a. Click Start, type services.msc and hit enter.
b. From the list of items, double click Bluetooth Support Service.
c. Change the startup type to Automatic and click Start button to start service.
d. Click Apply and then click ok.
e. Check if the issue persists.
Step 2: As the issue just started, restore the computer and check the result.
Step 3: Uninstall Bluethooth drivers and download the latest drivers from Lenovo Support Site and update

VM Server stuck in "Error" state - cannot start or stop any VMs

I have Oracle VM Server 3.0.2, VM Manager 3.0.2, and have a VM server stuck in an "Error" state. I've gone into all the Event tabs for the server + guests and acknowledged all the errors, but it's still in this state.
When I try to start a VM for example, I get this error on screen (I've obfuscated the server names):

Based on your description, I recommend to check the things below:
1. Run the PowerShell command below to check the status of the Secure Store Service:
Get-SPServiceInstance |Where {$_.typename -like "Document Conversions Load Balancer Service"}
If it is not showing online, please stop the service first and then start it to see if the issue still occurs (the
<ServiceGUID> can be obtained obtained from the command above).
Stop the service:
Stop-SPServiceInstance -Identity <ServiceGUID>
Start the service:
Start-SPServiceInstance -Identity <ServiceGUID>
2. Check the ULS log for detailed error message.
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS.

XL Reporter Error (Excel 2007?)

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to run a report on one of our segmented databases but I have hit a snag. Please see attached screenie via link;

As you can see, the error is pretty vague at best but the problem only arose after the system was updated to Office 2007. However, it also seems as though other reports have no problem with the update, and run with no issues.
It's not a lot to go on I know but can anyone shed any light whatsoever?

Receiving hardware acceleration error. Cannot start Adobe FMLW

I've been running version 3.0 since about March. Last week, I made a change to one of my monitors to adjust the resolution. I increased the hardware acceleration and noticed an improvement in my system thinking I'd lowered it when using Techsmith's Camtasia Studio for screen recording.
When I went to do my lifestream on Monday, I was unable to get Adobe Flash Media Encoder to run. It kept saying there was a hardware acceleration issue. I tried all the notches from left (disabled) to far right (fully enabled) but could not get it working.
Yesterday, I installed Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.0.1 (6/1/2009 release) in hopes of resolving the issue but it's still a no go.

I'd appreciate your suggestions on tweaking an .ini file or checking the registry to correct this issue.

It seems that your graphics card or monitor does not support full Hradware acceleration at high resolution and extended desktop. Also there are some known issues in FMLE on extended desktopm when we try to drag FMLE to second monitor.
I have tried same settings as you mentioned on my system having ATI Radeon Graphics card and my machine is working fine.
FMLE cannot work untill direct show is enabled on your system and lowre value if hardware acceleration disabeld it.
Can you check is direct show on your system is working fine?
You can verify it by typing "dxdiag" on run command

"error message cannot start audio chat"

I have an imac g5 1.8ghz with an isight webcam and a 1GB of ram. I am trying to begin an audio conference but get an error message that the computer is not capbable of intiating a multiperson audio chat. All the other buddies have 10.4.5. Any suggestions I thought a G% imac could start a multiperson chat.

Navigation Cannot Start from this location. ERROR ...

Navigation used to work fine on my X6, but since having to do a hard reset of the phone (due to other problems!) I cannot use the Navigation.
Everytime I get the error 'navigation cannot start at this location' and it doesn't seem like the phone can ever pick up my location.
I have tried un-installing and re-installing the application but to no-avail!
I haven't even wasted my time calling Nokia Support, as they are totally useless!
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this please?
I am gutted, my phone used to be amazing, now it seems as soon as I resolve one issue, there becomes another!!

After a huge update of my maps 3.06 using wifi direct to my N8 anytime I tried using destination on my phone only to get an error message "car navigation cannot start from this location". It didn't matter where I wanted to go to I got the same message. I use navigation more than any other app on my phone even phoning and texting and this is why I stay with Nokia so to loose my navigation would be a diaster. I googled the problem and found some tips to delete "cities" and any map files I could find but to no avail. I did a hard reset but stillI couldn't navigate and in OVI Store Installed Apps I could see Ovi maps and navigation 3.6 and also 3.08. I googled how to delete Ovi Suite Installed apps and got the tip to install Nokia Suite 7.1 which I did and deleted every file with map in i's namet . I was left with a file maps 3.08 4kb in size which couldn't be deleted but I continued and installed Maps 3.06 again and after a little fine tuning I can now navigate with data turned off again. Yahoooeeeeee

MSS: Cannot Start Transaction HRWPC_FC_EXEC

We have three custom ABAP reports setup for the 'Reports' tab in MSS. Two of them work fine, but one of them is giving this error message:
Cannot Start Transaction
The Internet Transaction Server could not start the transaction "HRWPC_FC_EXEC" because of the following error: .
It doesn't give an error message, so I have no idea what the error is. Any ideas?

I would check/try the following:
1)Does the transaction exist and does it need to be published to the ITS?
2)Does the user have the appropriate security profile to run the report - try with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW as a test?
3)Run the transaction directly in R/3 SAPGui with your test user ID, what happens?
4)Is your test user appropriately integrated into your org chart (does the MSS report rely on this?)
Just some ideas.... hope something gives you a clue

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

Reinstall - Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is
three times faster than wireless.

CD/DVDW SN-S082D issue - Windows cannot start this hardware device Code 19

I've had my laptop for a little over a year now and it's had it's fair share of problems, most of which are fixable or there is a workaround.
Earlier today I inserted a disc into the drive and tried opening it up, went into "My Computer" and found the disc drive was not listed.
This has happened once or twice before and a simple restart fixes the problem.
I've restarted twice and this time the problem wasn't fixed, after going into "Device Manager" I found there was a problem with the device and it gave me the following error
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)
Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."
As usual 'Check for soulutions' is useless and returned no results.

This is a little bit strange for me... anyway I will try to help you.
It seems that the registry keys are corrupt and therefore your CD/DVD drive cannot work properly.
Try simply the solution proposal mentioned here in the Microsoft doc:
