XL Reporter problem -Reports not getting generated
The XL Reporter add-on does not display any data.
The add-on is connected properly and no errors shows up in the report. I have tried refreshing the temp folder files and the add-on registration files, but still the problem exists.
Also in one of the clients, MS OFFICE was upgraded, and during XL report generation, it displays COM Add-in could not be enabled. I have followed the instructions as per the notes for adding the "xlreporter.dll" executable and also set the security to LOW. But the add-on does not get loaded.
Version Info : SAP 2005 B, PL 42
Please help me solve these issues.

Having read through the replies and your answers regarding your problem with the report it seems to me that you may have some user defined field(s) in your report(s). If that is indeed the case then you need to have a look whether they are still visible to XL Reporter (Tools>User Defined Fields). My experience is that even though the udf's may be ticked in that screen you sometimes have to untick them and then retick again. Unfortunately that causes XLR to rename the fields by adding a number to them - so if the field name was 'UDelivery' it may be 'U_Delivery_0' now. You need to change the field names in your reports accordingly.
Even upgrading or restoring a database causes this problem with UDF's.

Following is my setup:
Two node Rac database on Linux 5(64-bit)
All apps services are on single node - Linux 5(32-bit)
Database version -- 10.2.0.5
Apps version -- 12.1.1
To upgrade apps from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 i applied following patches.
a.Merged patch 9239090, 9239095 and applled the merge driver, during the patch application i got the following error:

The following Oracle Reports objects did not generate successfully:
ja reports/US JAINMCEN.rdf
An error occurred while generating Oracle Reports files.
Continue as if it were successful [No] :

Dear All,
I know this is a repeat query but im unable to find information from the blogpost http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-41109.
I have earlier configured the WWI setup in a linux server. Now I am testing it on a windows server. I have made all the configurations in word and for generation server. The issue is, the report is not getting generated in report management screen and is in status Generation possible always.
When i check the wwi monitor, the doc type SBR is getting released but not getting completed. Please see the screenshot. CGSADM is working fine, RFC is working fine. I tried creating documents in CV01N and they are getting created. The DCOM settings are also good and activated the permissions there too. The DMS settings are set as per the SAP notes. However The job i scheduled is in status Finished for document generation. But when I try to generate the report, the report is created using a variant and the status of the report is in generation possible always. I checked the variant of the report and the validity is in REG_WORLD. I understand that there is some issue in the scheduled job.
I have scheduled only one job for Document Generation as follows.
a)Enter the job name - DOC GENERATION and choose a job class - A.
d) Choose Start condition and in the dialog box, choose After event.
e) Enter SAP_SYSTEM_START in the event field.
f) Activate Periodic job - HOURLY
g) Choose Check and save your entries.
h) Choose Step and choose ABAP program in the dialog box that appears.
i) Enter RC1WWIDS as the ABAP program name.
j) Choose Check and save your entries.
k) Before you leave the Define Background Job screen, you must save your entries once more.
Result: The job is started whenever the SAP system is started.
aFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS, THE RESULT IS THE SAME AND NO CHANGE IN STATUS OF THE REPORT.
Kindly suggest what step am i missing . I have been through all the blogs in SCN. My old blogs are however missing and hence I am not able to access them.
I am using SAP GUI 7.30, ECC6 and EHP 5.

Please help me to understand your system landscape.
a.) Did you have had a SAP EHS up and running together with a "linux server" based WWI version
and
b.) now you are switching the same SAP system to a "windows server" based version?
I am not sure about your screenshots. But you seem to have more than one gen server attached to the same system; did you updated as well WWI?
So no adaption of general SAP set up (like DMS etc.)?
Therefore any job scheduled (before afterwards) is done using a SAP account having the necessary access rights?
Can you please check this:
1.) create several sessions; one with WWi monitor and one with CG02; try to generate a different report for the same spec id (e.g. not MSDSUS in EN, but MSDS/FR) and check progress in WWI monitor as well as CG50
2.) select in CG50 the report in status "generation possible"; mark it and try to "go" on ; check access rights afterwards (su53)
I hate this status "generation possible". I believe you need to use "debug replace" to remove that entry; I can not remember any more but that was the only option to get "rid" of this entry
Please read WWI cookbook, There is a set up possible in such a way that any action on WWI server is "logged"; may be try to analyze the log file to get idea why there is no progress regarding the generation
PS: the problem you have detected is not related to the "validity area". It is a matter of communication issue between SAP and WWI server and the WWI process can not be finalized.

Early Watch Reports are not getting generated.

I'm new to Solution Manager.
We were getting EWA report regularly till last month in solution manager.
But for the past one month the reports are not getting generated and I'm getting the following error message.
Kindly help
The data for this session is overdue. Data has not yet been transferred from the associated satellite system.
Go to the Service Data Control Center (transaction SDCCN) in the satellite system and check why the data has not been sent.
Typical sources of errors are:
The RFC connection for the SAP Solution Manager system is not working.
The 'Task Processor' background job, which collects the session data, has been changed.
Problems arose while data was being collected (see the detail log for the task that collects the session data).
A periodic 'SDCC Maintenance Package' task has not been scheduled to check whether your SAP Solution Manager system requests session data.

The maintanance package is getting executed everyday. However, it is throwing some error.

Hi all,
we are using IPCC express 5.0 with high availability and call manager 6.0.
Now i;m facing an issue in historical reports.i'm not getting last 4 month reportin the historical report and the report is blank.
when i troubleshooted, i checked for filter in scheduler file, logs and i couldn;t find any issues in that.
i observed in datastore control center, agent, historical, repository status is stopped in publisher and replication status also stopped. i tried to start it but it stopped again.
as per customer information, also agent phones are communicating with standby server not with publisher for last 4 months.
so i'suspect it is database replication problem for long time that is why i;m getting the report also for these 4 months.

Report RV13ANAH could not be generated
Hello Experts,
I have one issue. In VK13, I give the condtion type and click the Condition information button. I get the error as Report RV13ANAH could not be generated. The program RV13ANAH has syntax error which I found out. The error is table A902 doent have a field KFRST and KBSTAT. But the program has these two fields in the SELECT statement

Utl_file not getting generated
hi i wrote one procedure using utl_file , to check the output of the file in a text format and it was created successfully , intially it had problems with directory and i created that directory and even granted permissions using system user but nothing is happening the text file is not getting generated.

Snapshots not getting generated automatically
Hi all,
I want to generate an ADDM report. For that, I am running the addmrpt.sql script in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin
While running, i am being asked for the begin_snap ID and end_snap ID. The problem is I have only one snap_id. The snapshots are not getting generated automatically for every 1 hr, as they shd be. I have to manually create a snapshot and run the ADDM script. I know that the database has to be open for atleast next 1 hr for getting the snapshot. I have not closed my database for the whole day.
Now, I want to know what exactly I shd be looking at, or rather be doing to get my snapshots generate automatically.
Please help me in this regard.

I got that error this week too. The text of the short dump indicated that it was trying to create a popup but the job wasn't running as a dialog user. The message for the popup was:
Service Content Update outdated
You are going to run a session, that uses outdated service content
1. Run the Service Content Update (TA AGS_UPDATE)
2. Reinitialize the service session
3. Start the service session again
As you wrote, AGS_UPDATE prevents the error. But that shouldn't have been necessary though since the job SM:SERVICE CONTENT UPDATE is supposed to do the same thing, and it ran a few hours before the EWA reports. Any idea why that job didn't work?
UPDATE: Jared suggested offline to reschedule the job to run shortly before the reports, and that prevented a recurrence.

Task activities not getting generated properly in BPEL
I am using the Jdev 11g TP3 (from OTN). Installation went through fine. However I observed a interesting issue with HumanTask/BPEL and I was wondering if someone faced similar such problems before, if so, how to rectify the issue. Here is the description of the issue:
1. Created a Empty SOA composite project
2. Dragged and dropped BPEL Process in the component palette. Designed a Asynchronous process.
3. Dragged and dropped a HumanTask. Did not expose as an composite. Designed a single approver workflow. In the project schema, choose the schema from BPEL input.
4. Wired BPEL to HumanTAsk
5. In the BPEL flow, I dragged the HumanTask to the flow. Everything appears to be correct. I clicked on "Ok" after associating with BPEL variable.
Now when I examine the BPEL flow, a scope before the BPEL switch is empty. There are no BPEL activities generated. This is a very simple case of BPEL and HumanTask and I am not sure as to why the tasks not getting generated properly in BPEL flow.
Has anyone experienced this issue or any ideas as to why this could happen?After going through the exercise several times, I finally found out the reason as to why the BPEL activities are not getting generated. In the Human task form for the title, since it is a fixed string in my case I put something like the one given below:
Title : "APPROVE ORDER"
When you have fixed string within double quotes it does not generate BPEL activities correctly. You can try and u will see the problem.
My real question is should not throw proper error message when you try to drag and drop the HumanTask to BPEL flow. -

Avilability Check : 02 (individual check)
My problem is when i doing MRP run by using MD50, Purchase request are not getting generated for RM & Packing material when there is not stock, no po & No PR. in MD04 it showing dependent requirement. again when i am doing MRP run with MD02 pr getting generated. please suggest how to resolve this issue.
my client is asking to generate PR at MD 50 only.

are you procuring raw material with respect to sale order means
then for RM and packaging, remove the strategy group and maintain individual indicator, then run MRP in MD50, system will plan for RM and pacakaging material also -

Check Whether Maintenace for perticualr maintenance plan is not scheduled... their could completion requirement tick might selected previous maint. not done for the equipment.
Check any scheduling for inactive equips/fl
check any long offset has been set....
check while scheduling any sortfield key is set or genral...if pertiucalr sort key is belong to Eq/fl which will not help

Credit note is not getting generate and there is no error log
Hi,
Could you please help with the following scenario.
I have created a credit memo with reference to a billing document. Then when I try and create a credit note for this credit memo, it does not get generated and the following message apprears 'No billing documents were generated'
Processing status for this is - 'Not Processed'
and there are no messages in the error log as well.
Could you please advise as to what the missing configuration might be? As i can't seem to find what is causing the problem

AmalieKindly create a Credit Memo Request wrt to Billing Document by maintaining in the Copying Control through VTAF and then create a Credit Memo wrt Credit Memo request through VTFA.
Then go to VOFA with your Billing Type and maintain Account Determination Procedure.

Do you able to get the Number while saving the Credit Memo or not able to save it .

SAP F&R - Order Proposals not getting generated
Hi Experts,
I am currently on SCM 5.0 system. For a location-product on uploading the consumption data, the forecast gets generated but no Order Proposals are getting generated at all. When I look at the Source of Supply, the delivery dates for the location-product are appropriately displayed.
The scenario is basically Vendor -> DC -> Store i.e. V111 -> R601 -> R611 for the product FR11. The time series of supplying location is displayed for FR11-R611 in CADE while FR11-R601 is not displayed. I suppose, this may be, why the OPs are not getting generated. How do we generate time series for FR11-R601 i.e. for V111 (vendor) ?
Also, When i try to run a location status check on R611, /FRE/FU_CL_FRP_SAFOUT_CRIT comes out with a fatal error with the remaining others in an INITIAL state. How do we resolve this issue.

I was able to solve both the issues with a change in the Forecasting Frequency profiles where the reference day for start week was on "FRP Location Activation Date". I changed it to Calendar date and checked the forecast and it worked with the Order proposals also generating. Also, the location status check out for the mentioned location was in "OK" state.
Also, a second methodology applied to overcome the problem was to go to SAP Menu -> F&R Processor -> Administration, from there go to the location tab where the locations had a deactivation date of 31.12.2009. I extended the date and then there was no need to change the forecasting frequency profiles.

Dear all, What are the selections to be done in QA07 for blocking a batch on expiry date which is 3 days from today, we also have batch status active. Thanks in advance Madhav
