Editor stops working in Photoshop Elements 7.3

I am having probelms with the Photoshop Elements editor stopping working in Windows 7. It worked for awhile and worked fine in Windows XP. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling to no avail. Any ideas???

First, yes, I used original media to reinstall after I did an Uninstall and both of these were done from an Administrator account. This is my laptop and I am the only person with an account on it… it is both Admin account and user account.

I am copying portion of the the xml into anothe xml file .

                new StreamResult(lNewFilePW))i am able to see the initial xml content in xml editior after copying due to some character i am not able to see it in xml editor. it is dipalying An invalid character was found in text content in browser on accessing the copied content using xml editor.
i noticed that this is happending when the initial content is having something like 1235-7654 i removed all the '-' from be part of numerices then it works fine. if it is part of charachater nothing restricting. input xml content is wrapped with CDATA. pls give me suggitions what could be the workaround for it.

Open XML file in XML editor with certain XPath highlighted

Hi,
I have wrtten an XML compraison tool which produces an HTML report of all differences and shows the xpaths where there is a mismatch. I want the user to be able to click the xpath (like hyperlink) and open the XML file using IE or any opensource XML editor (xerlin?) such that the xpath node is the current highlighted node on the screen. That way the user can right away seee where the mismatch is. As a next step I wanted to open both the control and the test files side by side with both xpaths highlighted.
Any idea how I can approach the problem? Is there any open osurce software I can leverage and integrate my application,

Simple XML Editor

Is there a simple, FREE, XML editor out there (written in Java)?
I am using an XML file format for a small application I wrote, and I would prefer to edit the file using an XML editor, since it is easy to screw up the file in a text editor.
If you've used Forte or Netbeans, all I want is a simple XML editor like the one that is built into the IDE.

Vim works pretty good, its free, and has syntax highlighting. You would need to be familiar with using vi. http://www.vim.org/
If you use Eclipse, you can get http://www.oxygenxml.com/. It's not free, but its cheaper than XMLSpy.
I haven't found anything better than XMLSpy, even though its expensive.
Does anyone know of another tool that can generate a sample instance document from a schema, and/or a schema from an instance document? I find that handy in XMLSpy.

I have posted it in XML forum, but I didn't get any reply. Trying my luck here :)
Most of the XML editors have DTD based code assist in it. So it pops up enumeration list in the ATTLIST . Fine, but I want to be able to set a XML attribute value which can either be selected from the popup list or some other value not in the list can be typed in.
Is it possible to write a DTD which will make it feasible. Or is there an Editor/Eclipse plugin which allows this?
Any XML editors with XMLShema based code assist available (even if it won't address the above requirement)?.

AVx-men is the XML editor used by MyEclipse... use it as part of MyEclipse if you can't find any other suitable editor
but beware ! you might fall in love with that terrific plugin if you're doing WebApp developement ;)

Simple WYSIWiG XML editor

Hello,
I try to write a simple XML editor using Swing. I have no problem processing the XML document itself (parsing XML, DTD and CSS) but now I need to display the parsed document and allow the user to edit it.
My idea is to use "decorators" configured at runtime (by the parsed CSS) wrapped around the DOM elements, but how should I display it and make it editable? I don't want to care about formatting if it's not really necessary - I'd like Swing to do as much of it as possible.

Style sheet with Struts frame work

I am using MyEclipse editor. I am trying to use Style sheet in my JSP page using Struts frame work. I tried several ways but style sheet is not applying on my JSP page. Please look at my code and let me know where is the problem.
1. I created a project called "AcmiReports". In the webroot I created folder called "CSS". In this folder I created "AcmiReports.css" file. In my JSP I am using like this

Where am I doing wrong? I read somewhere that I need to set some thing in struts-config file. Is this true.

Forte form editor wont work, missing *.form file

Hi,
I have a .java GUI file (subclass of a subclass of JDialog) that was generated with Forte, but the .form file that the form editor needs wasnt checked into CVS. So now I cant open the form editor in Forte (sun one). Is there a way to auto generate a new one based on the *.java code?

currently it is not possible to generate .form file from java code - because
form editor is not "two-way" (that is why .form XML files are used to store
GUI information). However two-way editing is planned for the future - see
our proposal:

As for converting forms from old NetBeans X2: direct serialization was used
for saving forms sooner, which is not suitable for longer persistence -
because e.g. serialized Swing components might not be compatible between JDK
versions. (That's why we moved to more general XML storing time ago.) So -
to import older forms you should use at least the same JDK version you used
with old X2. I would also recommend you to import it using Forte 2.0, which
could be more "polite" to old form formats (is a bit older than NetBeans
3.1). Once you save form to XML .form file, you can use it in newest JDK and
NetBeans.

What is the exact use of STRUTS frame work??

I'm new to this STRUTS frame work. Can any one explain me in detail (if possible with an example) about,, why we need to use STRUTS framework as we have already JSP's.
For example if we want to move from one JSP to another JSP, it is quite easy to move to the page with out any other extra logic. Where as comes to the point of STRUTS, we need to write, JSP form, Form-bean class, Action Class, configure our STRUTS XML file, if validation needed validation xml files. Is it not looking cumbersome to process?
Please help me to recover from this...

Low cost XML editor

Did any of you guys work with a decent low cost XML editor?
We have a scenario where we receive the data in big XML files and we do somewhat complex mapping, it would be really nice to have an editor to create test files, mostly deleting (lots of) nodes from the production files in order to debug the issues.
Is there any good (free?) tool to do this?

glad the fix worked.
1) Hmmmm. This one is trickey. Ideally you need to use a PUT operation over http, which will allow you to write the xml file out. However, not sure what you need to do in terms of ACL's to allow TOmcat to write the file.
2) A quick fix for this would be to change your protocol from http to file://actual/file/path. This will allow you to write the assuming that you have permissions.
3) Check that the user your running Tomcat as has UNIX file permissions. i.e. read and write, not just read.
