  • I have a online form created with my paid account that has just stopped working.

    I have a online form created with my paid account that has been working for months that just started displaying a message that starts "This form was easily created for FREE with FormsCentral. See how..." The inline frame that it shows up in has also changed to be very small. The form is set to open in FormsCentral and shows the message and inline frame size when I choose preview. What's up?

    Checked when I got back in to work today and everything is working as it should. All of our online forms were screwed up yesterday, but are working this morning. I know this won't help anyone in the future, but just wanted to follow-up.

  • How to delete hyperlink (Remove signature) in a form created with InfoPath

    Hello.
    We have Sharepoint 2013 Foundation in production. It work with forms created with InfoPath. In these forms, digital signatures are used to approve. The problem is that once you have signed the forms, the user can remove the signature. That's what we want to
    avoid.
    Which file should I edit to remove the hyperlink? I can not find how to do it. Do you know a better option?
    Greetings.
    MCSA: Windows Server 2008

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to delete hyperlink (Remove signature) in a form created with InfoPath.
    As far as I know, there is no OOTB way to achieve this. You need to use custom code to prevent removal of digital signatures.
    Please add the OnBeforeChange handler code to the "signatureN" group where the signature is stored, not to the section you are signing.
    In other words (my excample) browse to :
    Tools - Form Options - Digital Signatures - "Enable digital signature for specific data" - Modify/Add
    Note the "Store signatures in the following group" value. It will be a read only value, eg /my:myFields/my:signature3/my:signature4

  • I am unable to edit a form created with LiveCycle version 8.5 with LiveCycle Version ES1.

    I am trying to edit a form created with LiveCycle version 8.08.2073 (installed with Adobe Pro 8).  I am using LiveCycle version ES (installed with Adobe Pro 9).  I can open the fhe form, but the tools are greyed out.  It apears the file is locked for editing, but I cannot determine where/how to unlock it.

    You should try to start in safe mode which runs a file check. You hold the shift key down during a start up till there is a progress bar towards thr bottom of the screen. This start will take a longer time than normal. In safe mode try the functioins you are having problems with to see if there is an improvement. Some links below to read.

  • I have adobe xi pro, but i can´t edit a form create with adobe 8.0, the message is this form can´t be edit with adobe, use adobe livecycle designer. need I to buy another program?

    I have adobe xi pro, but i can´t edit a form created with adobe 8.0. The message is: this form can´t be edit with adobe, use adobe livecycle designer. need I to buy another program?

    If the form was created using LCD then it can only be edited there. This
    application used to be bundled with Acrobat Pro, but that's no longer the
    case. So if you want to edit this file then you need to purchase it, yes.

  • Ability to edit a form created in Forms Central

    When I open a form created in forms central in acrobat pro XI, how can I get permission to add a watermark?  The system says I do not have permission to make the change.  That makes sense, but can I save it in Forms Central with a password that would allow me to further edit it is Acrobat Pro XI?  Is there an alternative solution?

    Hi;
    This FAQ describes how to edit a FormsCentral PDF in Acrobat: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3661

  • InDesign Panels created with Extension Builder 3 get collapsed upon relaunch of InDesign

    InDesign Panels created with Extension Builder 3 get collapsed upon relaunch of InDesign and you have to corner drag them open to see the panel. This bug is very annoying. Does anyone know a work around?

    I found how to fix this.
    There is a hidden XML file called manifest.xml located in you project folder here:
    ../.staged-extension/CSXS/manifest.xml
    In that file there is a section called <Geometry>
    By default there is an entry for size. You can add sections for min and max panel size values.
    <MaxSize>
         <Height>enter max height size here</Height>
         <Width>enter max width size here</Width>
    </MaxSize>
    <MinSize>
         <Height>enter min height size here</Height>
         <Width>enter min width size here</Width>
    </MinSize>

  • Trace() not working with embedded SWFs created with Flash Builder

    I have just migrated to Flash Builder 4.5 with the 4.5.1 SDK.
    I have an application that loads a lot of child SWFs into it - some of which are created with Flash, some are created with Flash Builder.
    I am noticing now that my trace() statements that are called from within SWFs produced with Flash Builder that are loading as child SWFs into my main SWF are NOT appearing.  However, trace() statements called from within SWFs produced with Flash that are loading as child SWFs into my main SWF ARE appearing.
    This is an extremely major problem and has short-circuited my debugging/development.
    Any recommendations, workarounds, or suggestions?

    If the child SWFs were created by performing an "Export Release Build", then trace() statements would be omitted.
    You can control this by setting the -omit-trace-statements compiler argument (in Project properties -> Flex Compiler -> Additional Compiler Arguments).

  • Can the forms created in Forms Central be copied and pasted into Muse?

    Can the forms created in Forms Central be copied and pasted into Muse?

    Hi,
    The form that you create via FormsCentral can be embedded in your Muse site (in Muse you can select Object/Insert HTML and then paste the embed code that you get via FormsCentral by clicking "Distribute" Tab / Embed button.)
    See http://forums.adobe.com/message/5252743#5252743 on how to get the embed code via FormsCentral.
    See https://my.adobeconnect.com/p73yae8df5r/?launcher=false&fcsContent=true&pbMode=normal on how to paste it on Muse.

  • Using XML files created with PDF form in Excel

    I have returned survey XML files created by a survey form using Lifecycle Designer. Have been unsuccessful in the importing of multiple XML files into Excel as a 2nd file just overlays the 1st file's data.
    I have been reading a number of posts that most likely tells me that sending the PDF survey form out via e-mail and getting the returned XML file back via e-mail was not the best way to do it. Unfortunately it is what I have to deal with now, so two questions I have:
    1. Is there a known method for importing all of these XML files into any Office program more easily than what I have been dealing with, and
    2. What method would be best used if I have surveys to send out but have no web server or any other tool other than my local software on my PC for collecting and compiling the returned data?

    Are you clicking the Send Email button while previewing the pdf form?
         -> If yes, have you specified preview data on Form Properties panel?
                    -> If yes, does your form contain Table or repeatable subforms?
    If all the above point are true, you will get multiple data in your xml.

  • Dynamic FormUID For Forms Created with XML

    I'm able to load a form via XML using VB6 and the SDK (screen painter generated).  The problem is that I get an error if the form already exists and is loaded again due to the fact that I'm not able to assign a dynamic and unique FormUID on initial form creation like you can when creating a form via the SCG.  Is there a way to assign a unique FormUID on the fly using the SDK and an XML form?

    Hi Greg,
    After I read the XML from a file, I manually change the FormUID to a unique one via XML before I the XML into SBO. I have not found anything inside the SDK which does this, so unfortunately you have to do it yourself.

  • Can Oracle Form Builder 10g open forms created with Developer 11g?

    Hi,
    Two different groups of developers developed forms in both Forms versions 10g and 11g. There will be call_forms between both versions and both will run under the same portal. Production is 10g. Is it possible to open 11g forms in 10g Form Builder? Suggestion/ solutions are appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Victor

    It is likely you will run into issues, so I would say best not to. I have done it a couple of times by accident during migration of Forms 10g to 11g. You can still open and view the 11g forms code in the Forms 10g builder, but will likely see some objects appear as incorrect types. Saving the 11g form in such a state from the 10g Forms Builder may result in corruption.

  • How to send a form created with liveCycle in PDF

    Hi,
    I have Acrobat 9. I created a form that I put online in pdf. A client can compile this module with acrobat reader but on send the format used by acrobat reader is .xml. How can I use pdf and not xml?
    Thanks to all than can answer me!

    Sending PDFs without an Email Client Software installed needs to be handled at the server. Using a Microsoft .net web server, and SMTP host, you can send e-mail with PDFEmail.net. PDFEmail.net doesn't require Adobe Acrobat or Reader installed on the server, and works on remote and local web servers with access to a local or remote SMTP user account. PDFEmail.net doesn't require programming knowledge, just upload the scripts and the libraries to your webserver application root, and point the Submit URL action to the script.

  • Is it possible to open a form created with screen painter more than once?

    I have created a form with the screen painter. In the screen painter the form is assigned a FormUID. Probably because this is done, it is impossible to open the form more than once??
    Thanks,
    Kind regards

    Hi J.
    The answer is yes You just have to give your form a unique id.
    1) Give your form in screen painter a name like BTWO_DYNAMIC_UID (just plain text).
    2) Make sure your <i>FormType</i> and <i>appformnumber</i> have a unique number (i.e. 2000060001). You can do this in the xml source.
    3) By loading your document replace the BTWO_DYNAMIC_UID with an unique id. I have a counter that's a member of my class and increase that number to get a unique id (BTWO_F_1, BTWO_F_2 etc)
    I have added a code sample, SBOApplication is my SAP application object and mFormNumber is a member (integer) of my class.
    <i>Succes d'r mee, en als 't nie lukt hoor ik het wel... ;)</i>
    <b>Code (C#):</b>
    // New xml document
    XmlDocument oXmlDoc = new XmlDocument();
    private Form LoadUniqueForm(string AMyFile)
      // Define your path to
      sPath = @"Forms" + AMyFile;
      // Load the form
      oXmlDoc.Load(sPath);
      // Replace the string with an unique id
      mFormNumber++;
      string sXML = oXmlDoc.InnerXml.Replace("BTWO_DYNAMIC_UID", "BTWO_F_" + mFormNumber.ToString());
      // load the XML file in SAP
      SBOApplication.LoadBatchActions(ref sXML);
      // Return the form
      return SBOApplication.Forms.Item("BTWO_F_" + mFormNumber.ToString());

  • Form created with Livecycle Designer with a SQL database - do you need LiveCycle Forms installed?

    Hello,
    I'm REALLY hoping someone here can help me, I have spent over four hours on the phone to Adobe in the last 3 days and I'm getting no where what-so-ever. I can't even find out where /how to complain about it! (but thats another story)
    Here's my situtation:
    I work for a company with approx 140 staff. On one computer, we have Adobe Livecycle Designer ES installed, and we have used that program to create a form which has a link to a SQL database.
    The link in this form doesn't work on the other computers which has the basic (free) Adobe Reader. From doing research within these forums
     , I have found that the form will not work on other computers unless they have Adobe Livecycle forms installed on their machines.
    What I need to know (and what they cannot seem to tell me when I call), is two things:
    Is it correct that in order to use a form created in Livecycle Designer which has a link to a SQL database, that the machine must have LiveCycle forms installed?
    How much does Adobe LiveCycle Forms costs?
    PLEASE, if you can answer this question, I would REALLY appriciate it....
    Thank you!

    I presume you are asking if you need Livecycle Forms ES? Forms ES is a component of the livecycle software suite intended as a document service which will be installed on a server within the organisation. A couple of things this document service can do is to render XDP into multiple formats (PDF, html, etc.), execute script server side (for example the database connection) on behalf of the client (reader, etc.), integrate with backend components, etc. So no you do not install this on each client.
    For database connections to work, you either have a server with Forms ES installed which can connect on each clients behalf (ie. Client->Forms ES Server->Database), or you have a reader-extended PDF to allow connections to be use in the free basic Reader (i.e. direct calls to the database or using web service calls to your own database components). However, reader-extended pdf would probably require Reader Extensions ES component installed on a server (you once off extend your developed pdf through this and then hand it out to each of the end users). Not sure if the Acrobat Reader extensions will cover this functionality since I have not tried that. I dont think it does. Otherwise you would need full acrobat on each client.
    How much database integration is your form actually doing at the moment? read only? Full access? And how many clients do you expect to hit your database? Depending on what you need the form to do, there is always the option to try and build the integration yourself. Do simple http submits from the browser (hosting reader as a plugin) to some component somewhere which in turn hits your database. Wouldnt require additional licensing but alot more development work.
    As for cost for the various components, thats a question only Adobe can answer for you since they all sit squarely in the enterprise space and licensing for that is not as simple as off the shelf products.
    Maybe someone else has a view on it or has an alternative.
