Xml interface development business parnter

Hi all,
I have a encountered a challenge in my work.
I was trying to  export the business partner list which is  in XML format file using XIF adapter.
For this i used File Port and Partner Profile for supporting.
The partner prfoile uses the message type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE.
And assigned site with the subscription and publincations to the respective BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.
When i am creating Business Parnter the Bdoc is going to Intermediate state.
When i am tyring to reprocess the Bdoc it is going towords the runttime error.
Sathyadev kanagaa.

I have assigned the site to the bdoc type BUPA_MAIN.
But the system is throwing the same error message.
WIth Regards,
Sathyadev

  • How SAP integrate with XML interface & Easyship applications for labelling

    Dear All,
My client has a requirement to use DHL for its shipments and shipment labelling is required.
However, as per DHL's response that DHL Express label is a complex presentation that does not lend itself the standard labeling options under SAP, but both options of the XML interface and the Easyship applications do provide this label built by the application and delivered to SAP print stream.
Please help to advise if there is any possible solutions for this implementation without using middleware?
    Appreciate it.
    Thank you.

i AM NOT SURE IF i AM GETTING THIS RIGHT BUT, YOU WILL HAVE TO USE A BUSINESS COMMUNICATOR (EAI) BETWEEN dhl AND saP.In our current client we have developed an application where on PGI of the delivery will trigger a dlvry03 IDOc which passes through the logic of EAI and is then passed onto the carrier labelling system/interface.Once again once we receive back the info from the carrier an inbound IDOc is created to update the delivery with the tracking number and a Fedex label prints directly on the required printer.
Same way you can use shpmnt IDOC and have you tried XSI interface, it was particularly developed to deal with carrier interface. Please let me know I can provid emore info regarding XSI.

  • MES Interface Development (Standard IDOC-MATMAS enriched with Z-Fields)

    Hello Everyone,
We have an issue that we want to sent IDOC data to our local MES System. The XML Target Structure of the MES System is given and cannot be changed.
Most of the fields to be sent are in the MATMAS IDOC but some fields need to be enriched with material classification data which are maintained for each material individually in the ERP. To retrieve the data out of ERP we using the u201CBAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAILu201D. Here we perform an iteration about all these fields to read the classification description and the associated characteristic value. Sometimes it can happen that not for each material the value are maintained and then we are getting blank values
Now I coming back to my main questions.
The target structure of the MES XML File is given and need basically just two core segments from MATMAS IDOC.
E1MARAM SEGMENT="1"     -> Key fields needed: Material Number, MEINH, EAN Number etc.
E1MAKTM SEGMENT="1"     -> Key fields needed:: Material Description
The n- Classifcation field need to be listed directly under the segment E1MARM Segment. So the target structure need to be dynamically built with these n Z Field under den Segment with the following structure.
E1MARAM SEGMENT="1"     Material Number, MEINH, EAN Number etc.
    1
    u2026<ZL161AUSPM SEGMENT="1">
                    <ATNAM>MGBEZ_</ATNAM>
                    <ATWRT>Galenical Bulk Prod.</ATWRT>
    ..</ZL161AUSPM>
    n
    E1MAKTM SEGMENT="1"      Material Description
As stated out above the information from the classification data are filled in an internal table (XML document with several Row)
    Questions:
How do I get the information from the internal XML Document into such ZL161AUSPM structure. Shall I rename the rows in the XML Document from Row to <ATMAN>? And how is this possible? I assume that I cannot change the row name in an "MII XML Document"
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Rowsets DateCreated="2009-09-04T14:24:58" EndDate="2009-08-31T14:43:13" StartDate="2009-08-31T14:43:13" Version="12.0.6 Build(12)"><Rowset><Columns><Column Description="CHARACT" MaxRange="1" MinRange="0" Name="CHARACT" SQLDataType="1" SourceColumn="CHARACT"/><Column Description="CHARACT_DESCR" MaxRange="1" MinRange="0" Name="CHARACT_DESCR" SQLDataType="1" SourceColumn="CHARACT_DESCR"/><Column Description="VALUE_NEUTRAL" MaxRange="1" MinRange="0" Name="VALUE_NEUTRAL" SQLDataType="1" SourceColumn="VALUE_NEUTRAL"/></Columns><Row><CHARACT>CH0_MES_01</CHARACT><CHARACT_DESCR>CH0_MES_01</CHARACT_DESCR><VALUE_NEUTRAL>AT</VALUE_NEUTRAL></Row><Row><CHARACT>CH0_MES_16</CHARACT><CHARACT_DESCR>CH0_MES_16</CHARACT_DESCR><VALUE_NEUTRAL>AAI-WC</VALUE_NEUTRAL></Row><Row><CHARACT>CH0_MES_01</CHARACT><CHARACT_DESCR>CH0_MES_01</CHARACT_DESCR><VALUE_NEUTRAL>AT</VALUE_NEUTRAL></Row><Row><CHARACT>CH0_MES_05</CHARACT><CHARACT_DESCR>CH0_MES_05</CHARACT_DESCR><VALUE_NEUTRAL>10000.0</VALUE_NEUTRAL></Row></Rowset></Rowsets
How do I get the dynamically the structure under the E1MARAM SEGMENT="1"? with n u2013 integration? This mean if the material has been assigned three characteristic then I need three time the structure under the segment u201CE1MARAMu201D
Is someone experienced with interface development of such Z-Message respectively has someone an idea or guideline to dealt with such issues?
    Thanks in advance,

    Markus,
it is a bit difficult to get the structure from your post, but when I get it right you need to add new nodes in a predefined xml structure.
Did you have a look at the Link editor action "Data Item" from the SAP xMII XML Output? You can define a name and value and add it to a given xml structure. A problem might be the target xml if it is not an IlluminatorDocument (which is of kind /Rowsets / Rowset / Row).
If this does not work, you may try to build Local xml structures for all your Z fields, and append those xmls to your target, using the Link Editor Append XML function.

  • XML Interface in Solution Manager

    Hi All,
In Solution Documentation presentation, there are slides that give details on importing documentation from external sources like(Excel) into Solution Manager documentation. Has anyone done this task and what is the interface used to export to standard SAP XML format from EXCEL and import files from XML format into soution documentation (SOLAR01)?
    Details from slides are:
Using a XML interface business process documentation of external sources like MS Excel, Lotus Notes can be efficiently imported in SAP Solution Manager
    Data transfer process flow:
    Detailed steps
    1. Develop a data extractor program to convert MS Excel to XML document
    - Create a program to extract content from data source. The extractor has to use the  xml schema definitions provided by SAP
    - Extract the data from the data source into XML format

    Hi,
From your post, it seems that you need to upload the results of the query to Oracle Support.
You can spool the output to a file and upload it.
    Something like...
    SQL>spool output.txt
    SQL>set lines 200
    SQL>set pages 200
    --execute the queries
    SQL>spool off
I don't know about SQL Developer but tools such as PL/SQL Developer and Toad will allow you to export the query results directly to MS Excel.

  • Interface between business ware house system and SAP SD module

    hi,
I want to develop interface between business ware house system(file adapter) and SAP SD module.  how can i post the data into SD system? can any one tell me which Idoc i should use in receiver side?
if i want to go abap proxy how can do it?
give some inputs(methods which i should use)
    Thanks in advance
    regards
    Ruban

    Hey
the selection of IDOC depends upon what you wanna post into SD.get in touch with the ABAP guys and they should be able to tell u exactly which IDOC to use.
once u have decided on IDOC,you can go for a File to IDOC scenario.
as far as proxies are concerned, they kinda give better performance compared to IDOC but you need to do ABAP coding for them,in that case u dont need any IDOC
    Thanx

  • XML Interface

    Hi,
I need to write interfaces in SAP R/3 generating XML files. Couple of ways to do this:
1> Use XML port type for IDOC creation
    2> Use XI
    3> Use Business Connector (BC)
4> Use other tools like Webmethods etc..
    Disadvantages:
1> SAP is going to stop support of SAP BC from Dec 31, 2004 or from SAP 4.7.
2> For using XML port for IDOC, I might have to create custom IDOCs for some interfaces as all interfaces might not have standard IDOC to use.
Question? How do I evaluate these options for generating
XML interfaces? There might be some inbound interfaces also where SAP needs to convert XML files and post data.
I need PROS and CONS for these possible options, so my managament team can decide what to use.
    -Thanks in Advance

    Hi Bhaven,
For custom interfaces on your SAP backend system you have the following possibilities to send messages to Xi:
    1) Implement an empty remote enabled FM with interface parameters containing the neccessary data. You can then import the RFC FM metadat to Xi. In your ABAP code you can execute a RFC function call with Xi as the destination. And then use Xi to map to the target XML format.
    2) If you implement the "empty" remote enabled FM as a  BAPI you can always generate the corresponding IDOC interface. In your ABAP code you can use the generated interface to send your generated IDOCs to Xi.
    3) You can generate ABAP proxies from Xi which you can use in your ABAP code to send messages directly to Xi. Requires that the backend system has the Xi plug-in implemented.

  • Developing Business Services with ADF BC

    Hello all,
I was following the tutorial at http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe1013jdev/10131/bslayer/bslayer.htm#t2s5, which is Developing Business Services with ADF Business Components
AND i was wondering if i could add a custom validation that would: prevent the user from entering a Gender IF the credit limit is greater than 400? Is this possible? If so, could some point me in the right direction
    Cheers

    Hi,
    you have two options:
    1. add the validation on the ADF BC model using a method validator. This would compare the two attributes and throw an exception if the business rule is violated
    2. Use a ValueChange Listener on the credit limit field (in association with a autosubmit=true setting on the field) to enable the gender field through a Partial Page Refresh. To programmatically refresh a field using PPR, you create a binding of the component to refresh o a managed bean using its binding property. Then you call
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(<component reference here>)

  • 10.1.3.1 : Developing Business Services with ADF BC tuto issues

    Hi,
I was doing a learning session at my office based on the 'Developing Business Services with ADF Business Components' tutorial : http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe1013jdev/10131/bslayer/bslayer.htm. The topic Creating ADF Business Components > 9 shows how to create EOs, VOs, AM and the corresponding UML diagram.
    When using JDev 10.1.3.1 :
    * the diagram is not generated as expected,
    * the java domains are not created from DB domains.
    Under JDev 10.1.3.2 :
    * the java domains are created from DB domains,
    * the diagram has been generated on 1 out of 3 computers.
Any clues on what's going on or any known bugs ?
    Thanks,
    Seb.

    Hi,
Today in 10.1.3.1 the diagram generation just works. It seems the keepResident extension was causing troubles as the exception stack trace mentioned its name... I just removed it.
But still, the domains are not generated as expected. I've made several tests even in a fresh installation of JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.

  • Need information on how to create Idoc Inbound Interfaces for Business Sys

    Hi,
    I'm losing it.
Can anyone point me to some documentation or an example of how to create inbound interfaces for Business Systems in PI 7.1.
    Here's the scenario
I'm working on a B2B integration process which sends inbound idocs to an ECC 6.0 system.
I've created the Business System communication component  but under the Inbound Interfaces it is blank.
I want to have MBGMCR.MGBMCR03 as an inbound interface.
But I forget how to get it there.
For Business components you can just add the inbound interface.
I've already defined the Business System in the SLD pointed it to the correct Tech System, imported the idoc definitions in the Enterprise Service Builder and set up IDX1, IDX2 to ensure the metadata exists in PI.
But for Business systems the hep says that it's got to come from the SLD.
    Outbound/Inbound Interfaces
For each business system, the interfaces that are installed on the business system are also entered in the SLD. These interfaces are displayed in this frame. You cannot add any other interfaces.
I know I've done this before, but I can't remember how.
    Cheers,
    John

  • Need help with interface development

Hi i need help with requirement below with developing interface between or online order system and sap plz lemme know what is bapi i use for creating customer, update and assigining partner id to costumer.
    SAP Development
    1.     Using standards SAP functional module (with BAPI), create interface that will create/change Ordering party customer in SAP. Following fields are mandatory for customer creation:
    •     MANDT     Client
    •     VKORG     Sales organization
    •     VTWEG     Distribution Channel
    •     SPART     Division
    •     KDGRP     Customer Group (= “ZORP)
    •     KUNNR     Customer number
    •     NAME1     Name 1
    •     NAME 2     Name 2 (if required)
    •     SORTL     Search term (short description)
    •     ZZALTKN     Search term 2 (old customer number)
    •     LAND1     Country
    •     ORT01     City
    •     PSTLZ      Zip Code
    •     REGIO      Region (state in USA)
    •     STRAS     Street
    •     TELF1     Primary telephone number
    •     TELFX     Primary Fax number
    •     ZZPRPLANS     Payment Plan
    •     CCINS     Payment card: Card type
    •     CCNUM     Payment cards: Card number
    •     CCDEF     Payment Card: Default Card Indicator
    •     ZBDGID     Customer Budget ID
    •     ZHOLD     Budget Hold indicator
    •     ZZCOSTCENT     Cost Center
    2.     Upon successful customer creation system will issues “S” (success) message that customer has been created.
    3.     New ordering party customer created in step ½, will have to be assigned as new partner to its belonging Sold-to/Ship-to customer. Use standard SAP customer functional module in order to perform this partner ID assignment. Partner ID for ordering party should be “ZO”.
    1.7     Enhancement Functionality
Apart from creating a new interface to do the required functionality, the Order Create Interface also has to be changed to accommodate a field to pass the Ordering Party Number on the Order. The technicalities of how we are going to implement the interface will be laid out in the Tech Specs.
    Thanks
    in advance

  • Date format convert error in XML interface based Adobe interactive forms

    Hi experts,
I am using XML interface based Adobe interactive form in Web Dynpro ABAP. The form just contains some date fields and numeric fields.
When I test the WD Application, the date fields appear like 0000-00-00 at the first time. And then I set the form input disable, and get the XML from the form, at the same time I get the warning message, 'date format convert error'. By the way, I have set the edit pattern, display pattern and data pattern  of the date field to YYYYMMDD, but there seems no effect.
Could you tell me how to set the default date format in date field Or clear the 0000-00-00?
And another question, all of the numeric fields in the form appear like 0.0, how can I set it to empty when the form initialize?
    Best Regards,
    Guo Guo Qing

    Hi Chintan,
    Thank you for your reply.
I have tried every possible changes on the Date field, locale, pattern. But still no effect. When the PDF come up in the WDA program, the date field is still '0000-00-00', and then I export the XML date of the form, there is also '0000-00-00' in the interface field.
I can't clear the '0000-00-00' in initializiation event using javascript because if I need to open the form again, if I do this, the value user input could be cleared.
I also try using Javascrip like this
    if this.rawValue == "0000-00-00"
    { this.rawValue = ""; }
The code above can't clear the initializiation zeros too.
Have you used the XML interface based online Adobe Forms? I have used XML PDF forms for output before, that's perfect. But the input forms seems so strange.
    Best Regards,
    Guo Guo Qing
