    I want to use oracle ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) to read XML messages from JMS queue and then process it.. i also want to process and validate the data in it....
    Could anyone please tell me the steps to achieve the same. I tried some ways which i got on OTN, but not able to implement it exactly...
    As i m very new to ODI, it will be great if you provide detailed steps..
    Thanks in advance for your help....

    Hi,
    Were you able to do it? We are facing this same issue now and, despite the fact the docs say otherwise, it does not seem to be a trivial task.

  • Configuring Standard ESR ESOA XML message Reciever and Sender for PO Creati

    We are trying to send to our SNC system the standard XML Message PurchaseOrderERPReplenishmentOrderCollaborationNotification_Out when we create a purchase Order. We are able to generate and see the XML message in SXMB_MONI but the XML status Message is Green flag not Checker.. The Queue status is stop.. (The Queue is registered). But there is no receiver in the standard XML message... Where do we populate this... In the Integration Engine? What is the standard Scenario to use?

    Hi,
    >>>But there is no receiver in the standard XML message... Where do we populate this... In the Integration Engine? What is the standard Scenario to use?
    did you connect SCN with PI/XI ? for proxy communication ?
    if not this is a start
    then you need to configure PI/XI to push the message wherever you want

  • Reprocessing of XML Messages with status 003 i.e. Successfully Processed in

    Hello Expets ,
    I have to reprocess the XML messages which are already in successfully processed state  ( 003 ) in ECC without posting the data due to some abap bug  how am i going to do it.
    Is there any way i can changes the status of the xml message to Manual restart possible or some other way to do it...!
    Thanks in Advance

    HI,
    It's possible with some config change. (Hope your system is not production)
    First solution:
    The specified item was not found.
    Second:
    Insert the payload in RWB using test tab and send the data again

    I am trying to use outbound ABAP proxy from an R/3 system . I have written  a Z program to triger the execute_asynchronous method of the proxy generated. Now when i go to see the SXMB_MONI txn to see any XML message flow i dont see anything .
    Any pointers so to what need to be perfect to see a XML message is the monitor for an outbound proxy??
    Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi,
    Generally the message goes in the schedule mode when the target system is not available or the connection to target system is broken. Pl check the target system.
    You can use this weblog as checklist.

  • How to split big xml-messages with file inbound adapter

    Hello,
    we have big xml-messages in our filesystem, which are processed by XI 3.0 (SP11). We are using the file inbound adapter. Now we want to split these big xml-message into some smaller messages.
    Exist there a corresponding function to the "xml.recordsetsPerMessage" which is working with xml-files?
    Thanks!
    Regards
    Stefan

    Hi,
    maybe you can split the message in the BPM
    with 1:N mapping?
    Process Integration (PI) & SOA Middleware
    I don't think anythink like "recordsetsPerMessage" is possible for xml messages

  • Alert 7055 - Manual Approval Required, XML messages to ECC not Triggered.

    Hi All,
    I have a behavior in our Client Production System.
    We have setup a process in which if a PO confirmation Dates are -5 / + 5 days appart then that line item should result in Manual Approval Required.
    Even though a PO line item is in Status  "Manual Approval Required" a XML message is triggered and a AB confirmation gets created in ECC.
    Issue we faced:- even if the Confirmation Dates are within range still the PO was ending up in Manual Approval specially if vendor enters multiple Schedule lines for the same PO line item with Dates with in +/- 5 days.
    In our Test system , we implemented notes given by SAP to fix the above issue the issue looks fixed but,
    Now the behavior is if the line item is having Status "Manual Approval Required", NO XML messages are getting triggered for a PO with Confirmation date beyond +/- 5 days.  Once the the approval is given and Schedule line is Adopted the XML is getting triggered correctly.
    I want to know from all the Experts on to understand which behavior is correct is Production correct(excluding the Bug) or the Test systems not triggering XML unless the Manual Approval is given.
    I did read SAP help but i am not understanding since SAP mentions both behavior  not Clear when such behavior should occur.
    Please help to understand thsi behavior.
    Please advise.
    Thx
    MJ

    Hi MJ,
    The behaviour in your Test system is correct.
    When there is Manual approval is required which means deviation from requested which first needs to be accepted by customer in SNC.
    If Purchase order item status is Manual approval required and XML's are getting trigger which updates ECC with AB-confirmation then customer will assume PO is confirmed without deviation until he/she compares requested schedule line and confirmed schedule line.
    SAP standard behaviour is also same as your Test system behaviour see the help link(In process point#6)

    Hi, Ashish thanks for anwser my doubt.
    So, the step 10 is "10. Refer to the following ABAP code snippet for executing the STFC_CONNECTION programmatically
    instead of using the user interface shown above.

  • What is the payload structure has to be used for AQ to process XML messages.

    Hi Experts,
    We have an IBM MQ and Oracle AQ has to be be linked to that.
    MQ always contains XML messages and same message will come to AQ.
    Now I want to create AQ. What is the payload structure(object) has to be used for AQ to process XML messages.
    Please help me.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    using XML type data in AQ you have to define a special AQ payload type
    (corresponding to MQ):  QUEUE_PAYLOAD_TYPE = 'SYS.MGW_BASIC_MSG_T'.
    An example template for enqueueing looks like (you have to transform
    from XMLTYPE to the MGW payload type):
    DECLARE
       queue_options      DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE_OPTIONS_T;
       message_properties DBMS_AQ.MESSAGE_PROPERTIES_T;
       message_id         RAW(16);
       v_message          SYS.XMLType;
       v_clob             CLOB;
       v_payload          SYS.MGW_BASIC_MSG_T;
       v_text_body
    SYS.MGW_TEXT_VALUE_T;
    BEGIN
       v_message      := SYS.XMLType.createXML('<SAMPLE>hello world</SAMPLE>');
       v_clob         := v_message.GETCLOBVAL();
       v_text_body    := SYS.MGW_TEXT_VALUE_T( NULL, v_clob );
       v_payload      := SYS.MGW_BASIC_MSG_T( v_header, v_text_body, NULL );
       DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE( queue_name         => 'my_queue',
                        enqueue_options    => queue_options,
                        message_properties => message_properties,
                        payload            => v_payload,
                        msgid              => message_id);
    END;
    Kind regards,

  • XML message as input for webservice gives deserialization error

    Hi,
    jDeveloper 10.1.3
    BPEL PM 10.1.2.0.2
    Carrental example
    Problem:
    For the Business Rule Engine I did the Carrental XML example. Based on the java application that connects to the BR engine, I created a webservice in jDeveloper and deployed it to my localhost AS 10.1.3. The webservice has a testRule method that accepts a String buf as input. For now, the only thing the webservice does is return a 'do nothing' string. This works fine:
    When deployed the testpage generates the following SOAP message:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://carrental/types/">
    <ns1:testRuleElement>
    <ns1:buf>my xml message</ns1:buf>
    </ns1:testRuleElement>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    The SOAP response is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ns0="http://carrental/types/"><env:Body><ns0:testRuleResponseElement><ns0:result>do nothing...</ns0:result></ns0:testRuleResponseElement></env:Body></env:Envelope>
    In BPEL Designer I create a new asynchronous process ValidateBR, with a partnerlink for the webservice, based on the following WSDL file:

    What is the proper way to assign an XML message to the web service?

    Hi,
    Reading only is not possible..
    I will be still more clear in my question this time..
    I have deployed my bpel. My receiveInputVariable is of type xsd:string.
    So when i run the bpel in my console, i will be asked to give input as string data.
    So when i go to the XMLView, it will be like this.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">

                   <ns1:input></ns1:input>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    Now, i am going to give my input like this. --- which leads to error.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">

  • No xml message for PI

    Hi experts,
    In my scenarios, I read data from files in folder A, archive these files to folder B,and outbound to http service(BID). I actived all in my scenarios in ID/IR.
    Now I put one file to folder A, and found lots of files in folder B. (add 1 file every second), but I  do nothing.
    Now I had a try in test configuration. I found a red square in "Receiver Determination"
    Runtime error
    Error while refreshing the XI runtime cache
    It's strange I have no message for my scenarios at any time, even I don't find my service/interface name/interface namespace in "Monitor for Processed xml messages" (tcode:sxmb_moni). Of cause, I find nothing in RWB.
    Please help me,and thanks.

  • How to trigger XML messages for FWO

    Hello Experts,
    I’d like to trigger a XML outbound message after creation of an air forwarding order (FWO) in my TM system. It could not be a confirmation. I need this XML to provide the results of charges calculation in a legacy system (B2B communication).
    Could someone help me in this?
    Regards,
    Alberto.

    Dear Alberto,
    You can follow below steps to achive the same.
    1 You have to setup PPF framework.
    A. You will be having output profile (which is for processing the actions in background) assigned to Air FWO document type.
    B.Go to PPF customizing (Tcode - SPPFCADM) -> Select the Action profile -> Create Action definition ->choose the processing time as 'Processing when saving the document'-> processing type as 'Method call' -> Create the BADI implementation for definition EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF''. Here you can check if any filter before you trigger XML Message.
    2.You have to create a custom Proxy and proxy class to generate the XML message and send to target system.
    You will call this proxy class in BADI implementation EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF and build the XML message with required Charges data.
    After all the setup is done, you can test and make sure you have XML message generated in SXI_MONITOR / SXMB_MONI t-code.
    Let me know any challenges while doing it.
    Thanks,
    Bharath.

  • Weblogic Integration : xml message for event node in a workflow

    Hello,
    I have the following queries for weblogic 7.0 BPM workflows with event nodes:
    1) How does weblogic server choose that an xml message should be delivered to
    what all workflow instances, as the xml event does not carry any information regarding
    the workflow instance or event node?
    2) When an XML message is received, but there are no eligible consumers (workflow
    instances) then what happens to the message, is it discarded?
    3) Suppose an xml message comes for an event node even before that event before
    has been reached in the workflow instance, ie, the event node has not been activated
    yet. Is the message persisted to be delivered for processing when the event node
    gets activated or is it discarded?
    Please reply at an earliest.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    Based on your description what I felt is you are making use  of a wait step in which you have choose to wait till BUS2078 event CREATED is occured ... right.. Now can you please clear me that where and how this event will triggered.
    or is it some thign like you are making use of event creator step and in this case, When ever you are making use of the eventcreator  step and a BOR object inside it make sure that specific BOR object is already instatitaed in the workflow container , if it is instantiated then only it will try to identify the instance  or the BOR and it will try to rasie the event.
