XML-P Layout in Horizontal Direction

Hi All,
XML-Publisher layout in horizontal way.
We have a requirement in XML-P report where in we need to print the data on preprinted stationary in horizontal direction,
We have developed the rtf in vertical way and tried to rotate the PDF but it is not solving our requirement.
We also tried to develop the template in horizontal way but the data is not getting in the required manner.
Could you please update us if any possible solution for this?

  • I can't find anything about how to properly manage the tablet's layout in horizontal or in vertical position.

    I can't find anything about how to properly manage the tablet's layout in horizontal or in vertical position.
    If I consult my website in vertical position, it's ok but, If I turn my tablet, all the hyperlinks and all general visualization are wrong.
    How I can properly handle both views?
    PS: I'm sorry for my bad english

    Could you share the site URL so we may check at our end? Also could you share some screenshots explaining the 'wrong hyperlinks and visualization'.
    Thanks,

  • Muse / Sub-Navigation: How can I create a sub-navigation under the main navi - BOTH levels in HORIZONTAL direction???

    More specific: I want to create a two-level navigation, whit both levels in horizontal direction.
    Example:
    1st level:    Products,
    2nd level:  Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 etc

    Dear rohit776,
    enclosed two screenshots. First upper one is showing how I want to do it.
    Problem is: It is build completely manually and it does not work. When clicking on References it directs to a blank side and of course the main navi point (References) should be highlighted while I select between the three sub-points.
    The second screenshot shows how my structure looks like. Here the masters are including duplicates (therefore they doubled)

  • As placing accordion panel in horizontal direction

    I have a small problem I put the accordion panel in horizontal direction but do not know how it can be used only in a vertical or too horizontal? I await your prompt response is that I am finishing my page and I need to put the accordion in a horizontal position and do not like, I leave a picture of what you want.
    Note: The image was altered in adobe photoshop that is why the accordion is flat, I did to recreate that is exactly what I want.

  • Need help on XML Publisher Layout

    Hi,
    I need some help in the XML Publisher Layout.
    we have the following requirement for Disbursement Document report.
    In this report the check should always be printed at the bottom of first page(Preprinted Check). The invoices associated with that check should be printed on the top of the page and the remaining invoices associated with the check should be printed on the next pages with 'Invalid' on the bottom of remaining pages.
    Is there any way of restricting the invoices to a part of page, then print the check and then continue printing the invoices on to next pages and have 'Invalid' at the bottom of remaining pages?
    This requirement can be met with RDF but is it possible to do it from XML Publisher?Please let me know?

    Hi Nabendu.
    BI publisher does have the option of showing a running total in PDF format usign a RTF template. If you look up the advanced rtf samples provided with the BI publisher plugin there is one example to show running totals, with the previous page total at the top.
    you can find this located on your PC where the Word Plugin is installed. C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\samples\RTF templates
    replace C:\ with the drive leeter of the drive where your desktop plugin is installed
    Hope this Helps,

  • Adaptive Layout - Portlet horizontal alignment

    Is it possible to create an Adaptive Layout with horizontal alignment of portlets in a column?
    Attempting to create a layout with column1 above column 2 and column3 along right side of page.

    I apologize for the late response.
    I was not able to switch the alignment. I moved on to another approach due to limited time.
    Adaptive layouts are a composite of the base portal css styles and adaptive layout styles. It is difficult without a tool that is able to pull all the components into a single view based upon references. (Now that would be a useful tool.... anyone listening). The most useful tool i have found so far is Dreamweaver, it allows you to create custom tag libraries for limited design help.
    I welcome any input on a tool that can handle the tag libraries.
    I will update this thread if I make any discoveries.

  • Xml workflow/layout question - urgent

    Hi,
    I'm new to the XML scene and have made progress but have the following question.
    I have a .xls file that I open in Oxygen (xml editor) and save out a .xml file.
    I then import the .xml file into InDesign CS5.
    I have tagged the text placeholders and the image placeholders with the appropriate tags (not shown in this screen grab).
    I'd like to automatically flow the text data (A-E, J-O) into a text box (on the right side of image), then flow the images (E-I) into the picture boxes on the left side of the page. There is a large amount of data (InDesign pages) so it is important that  I configure this so that all of the content flows automatically  thoughout the InDesign file.
    Do the images need to be treated as anchored objects in a text box or is it possible to flow them into picture boxes?
    I can manually drag the "product_image" files to the picture boxes but I have yet to figure out how to automatically flow these images into the layout, aside from within the same text box as the rest of the text. Instead of using the anchored object approach, it seems it would be more efficient to flow into picture boxes if possible.
    Also, any feedback on how to get this data to flow automically thoughout the InDesign file would be really helpful.
    Thanks so much.
    Josh

    Hi,
    It is possibly to flow the images into picture boxes without treating them as anchored objects.Appropriately tagging the placeholders for graphics and text and then importing the XML file would allow the data (both text and images) to flow automatically into the respective tagged frames.

  • UIX/XML: sideNav  layout problem

    We're using UIXPages with a sideNav. The page itself contains a number of headers.
    Whenever a header is rendered below the sidenav the entire header is on the left margin of the screen. However I think it looks better if all the headers are justified equally.
    So the layout I get now is:
    SSS HHHHH
    SSS HHHHH
    HHHH
    HHHH
    and what I want is:
    SSS HHH
    SSS HHH
    ___ HHH
    ___ HHH
    where S is the sideNav and H is a header with all its data.
    I tried putting all the headers in a tableLayout but that just didn't work, I always got the same layout.
    Is there any way to do that?
    Thanks,
    Guido

    Hm, tyour testcase works fine even when I added multiple levels of subheaders, but try my file.
    It has one header with a number of subHeaders and the last subHeader is not indented correctly.
    ok, the uix code is ugly but its supposed to work anyway - right?
    Thanks,
    Guido

  • Load XML data from UNIX Server Directly into Relational Database Tables

    Is there a way I can load data from an XML File into Oracle Tables , without having the Input XML file in some Oracle Server Directory. My XML File resides on UNIX Application server. And I need to directly load the data into Database tables. Without loading them into the Database Directory.
    Also I am looking for a solution that would not load my Database much and effect other running processes. Can it be done using SQL Loader ?
    Oracle Database Version is : Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production

    Thanks for your reply ,
    Please would you quote an Example about : 'Load the file into that table using SQL*Loader'  (From UNIX Server) Or instance of some existing thread that relates to my situation.
    The Size of the File would be about 3 GB. For a similar requirement one of my peers Code which used XMLTABLE and XPATH Approach consumed a lot of resources while running and caused the other Database Applications to slow down. Thus those guys have come up with an approach to :
            Parse XML using a C Code using some STRING Functions =>  For a CSV or Fixed width .dat file and then use SQL Loader to just load the file into Tables.
            This approach is efficient in terms of Resources and Time(Takes 5 mins). But I am not confident about parsing XML based on String based C Functions.
             Please comment about this approach . Also if possible Suggest the best efficient way of doing this.

  • UIX/XML: Multicolumn layout for messageTextInput (urgent ...please)

    I need to render a number of textInput UIX beans (and comboboxes a.s.o.) together with a label and render a small icon right next to it. Since our application renders a lot of theses controls on one screen, we want the controls to be aligned the following way:
    LLLL___TTTTT I
    LL_____TTTTTTTTT I
    LLLLLL_TTT I
    So, I want the labels left aligned one below the other, and the textInput fields should also be left aligned. (Like a table with one column for the labels and one column for the input textfields).
    I only managed to get a layout like that, when using separate controls for the textInput and the label. This however this has the downside, that whenever I get a validator error message, it doesn't display the name of the controls that have an invalid value.
    Is there any way to achieve such a layout with the message... controls?
    Thanks

    The easiest control to use for this layout is <labeledFieldLayout>:
    <labeledFieldLayout>
    <contents>
    <messageTextInput .../>
    <messageTextInput .../>
    <messageTextInput .../>
    <messageTextInput .../>
    </contents>
    </labeledFieldLayout>
    You'll have to live with right-aligned prompts, which are a standard
    enforced by all the messageXXX components.

  • Want to load an xml document directly into an Oracle table

    From the Oracle XML Applications book pg: 106/107
    there is an example where it inserts into a Oracle table from the xml_documents table. What I would like to do is insert directly from the xml document and was able to but not able to get rid of the inserting into xml_documents section.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE insertXmlFile( dir VARCHAR2,
    file VARCHAR2,
    myTable varchar2,
    name VARCHAR2 := NULL) IS
    theBFile BFILE;
    theCLob CLOB;
    theDocName VARCHAR2(200) := NVL(name,file);
    BEGIN
    -- (1) Insert a new row into xml_documents with an empty CLOB, and
    -- (2) Retrieve the empty CLOB into a variable with RETURNING..INTO
    INSERT INTO xml_documents(XML_DOCUMENT_NM,XML_DOCUMENT_TX)
    VALUES('DELETE ME',empty_clob())
    RETURNING XML_DOCUMENT_TX INTO theCLob;
    -- (3) Get a BFile handle to the external file
    theBFile := BFileName(dir,file);
    -- (4) Open the file
    dbms_lob.fileOpen(theBFile);
    -- (5) Copy the contents of the BFile into the empty CLOB
    dbms_lob.loadFromFile(dest_lob => theCLob,
    src_lob => theBFile,
    amount => dbms_lob.getLength(theBFile));
    -- (5a) Insert the rows into the proper table
    insProc(theClob, myTable);
    -- (6) Close the file and commit
    dbms_lob.fileClose(theBFile);
    delete from xml_documents
    where xml_document_nm = 'DELETE ME';
    COMMIT;
    END;
    execute insertXmlFile ('XMLFILES','emp.xml','emp')

    Yes I would like to insert directly from an emp.xml file and load it directly into an emp table and not have to load the document in the xml_documents table and then insert into the emp table like I am doing in this procedure.

  • PDF in horizontal layout

    Hi everybody,
    I have a problem with a pdf creation. Everything is working fine, I am creating a pdf coming from the spool and I am attaching it to an email. The problem I have is that the information is too large and I would like to show everything, so my idea was to change the layout into horizontal, but I can not see any parameter or whatever to do it. I am using this function 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'.
    Does anyone know how to solve it?
    Thanks in advance

    Get a format created by your Basis team with the required number of columns and assign this printer as default to your spool.
