XML Publisher LOV missing values
I am trying to run an Oracle's XML Publisher in EBS 11.5.10 as Accounts Receivable which I have granted responsibility to run the XML publisher. I go in to the submit a concurrent request type in xml report publisher after pressing tab I am presented with the Report Request and put % or anything in and I get a basically get a message saying the LOV is empty
When I look at the available XML templates under the Receivables responsibility in XML Publisher Administrator I have 6 different default Oracle reports listed that I can view as the XML Publisher Administrator.

Try to set profile option "Concurrent: Report Acceess Level to the Responsibility or User who uses XMLP.

To answe to your question, directly it is not possible to have In clause but you could use some smart logic like lexical parameters etc to achieve similar things.I guess you cannot do in in EBS Reports too. -
EBS XML Publisher default tamplates missing

In my EBS 12.1.1 instance, under XML publisher administrator, when i search for default templates, it is not showing me anything. Am i missing any setup?

Is this a fresh installation? Were you able to view the templates before?

XML publisher report with a template file missing
I get the following error
Active template file not found in the template definition <TEMPLATE_NAME> for date <EFFDT>. (235,2515)

but in
Reporting Tools > XML Publisher > Report Definition > Template tab
I did have the setting Effective date, what cause the problem?Have a look at following post and run the sql in this post to see if your template definition is missing.

You could also run Application Engine PSXPCLEAN to clean orphan rows.
Are you running the report online or through PeopleCode?
In last case make sure the effdt is set correct in PeopleCode.
Also have a look if your server time settings are correct.

Hi all,
I'm generating a report in xml publisher 5.6.2, i have 4 datamodels inside the report and i'm using the Concatenated SQL Data Source option, then i generate the xml file to add it to the rtf template, the problem is that when i preview the report i'm getting blank values in the list that does not exist in the xml file.
i Have 4 data models one is a list of flights, the other 3 are Select count(*), when i delete this 3 data models from the report everything work ok but i need this data in the report too.

Passing Value from BI Beans to XML Publisher
Hi,
I have requirement to get data from BI Beans and pass it to XML publisher for display. How to do this handshake (pass value). I read that XML publisher understand only XML data, my doubt is if xml pub can read data from browser/BI beans or not?

XML Publisher Arabic Report Display and missing header problem
Hi All
We are in apps. 11.5.9 with English and Arabic language support.Even though we have all our data and reports in English we are in need of an Arabic Invoice report.
Since Titles cannot be typed in oracle report builder we decided to build the report in Xml Publisher.
Every thing is done to run the report in xml publisher but we face two probles in the final xml output.
Problem1. Header and footer are not displaying in the report.
Problem2. Arabic characters are not displaying properly in the report.
Here what ever titles we gave in Arabic are displaying good.
If I save the xml file and load it in the templete and view output shows the correct arabic wordings.
But when during taking the output directly from apps. then the problem comes. The Arabic fonts are not dispaying correctly.
Any Idea about this.

Utilizing XML Publisher Report Bursting Program user-variables
When running the XML Publisher Report Bursting Program against a bursting control file, I see the following in the log:

${cp:user} (note that it just returns the word 'null' here instead of the value)
nor can I get it to work in my RTF template by referencing:
<?xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, ‘cp:user’)?>
Should this work, or I am missing something?

CP submitted successfully and getting the output as required but it not generating the email and in log it is not showing any error.
ans I verified OPP log file in that also it is not showing any error.
what could be the reason for not getting an email??
Did I miss any thing to generate the email??

12.1.x does not have all the code to execute Excel templates.
ebs r12.1.3 has excel template
furthermore ebs r12.1.1 has excel template feature but it must be enabled as in mos R12: How to add Microsoft Excel as Type to the Create Template List of Values in BI Publisher (Doc ID 1343225.1)
EBS version 12.2 has some support for Excel templates.

I have created a custom xml publisher report. All the setups in xdo.cfg and the fonts have been installed. When i run the report as concurrent program using the XDODTEXE as the executable this report executes fine displaying the arabic characters in the PDF output.
I have integrated this xml report to a OAF page where am getting the output of the arabic characters as ???????

If it is set to AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8, I get characters like this:

Some RTF commands not working in Oracle XML Publisher Desktop 5.6.3

I am using Oracle XML Publisher Desktop 5.6.3 (Patch 5887917) and seems like some of the RTF command are not working. I am following Tim Dexter's blog (http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2007/10/here_are_my_terms_conditions.html ) and could not make the "new" commands from his blog, work in my template.
<?section:force-page-count;'end-on-even-layout'?> -- even with this on the template, I'm still getting output with odd total numpages
<?section:xdofo:blank-on;'even-skip-page-count'?> -- cannot suppress the NUMPAGES value of MS Word
Do I need to apply additional patch(es) on top of Patch 5887917 for the MS Word add-on? Could you please tell me what am I missing?

VO Extension Error in modifying the query of XML Publisher Report Template

I have one requirement related to calling XML Publisher Reports Template from OAF Page.
When clicking on the submit button the XML Publisher template is calling and displaying the data.
Our requirement is to display some more columns in the XML Publisher Template and display the data.
As according to OAF stndards,whenever we need to add new columns for display or SELECT purpose,
we will do the VO Extension. So we modified the query by adding the new additional colums in the standard VO.
I am able to retrieve the data from the SQL DEVELOPER. But when doing the VO Extension process and

XML PUBLISHER report in Excel out put problem
Hi Experts,
I have developed one XML report which output type is EXCEL in Oracle Application.
I am getting some -ve value in the report so I need to do the trailing sign
Menace for example I got a value -8645 I need to display the value like (8645).
This functionality is working in PDF output but in EXCEL out put it is not working.
Could any body please help me on this..

XML Publisher Report in EBS without Standard Oracle Report
Hi folks ,
i have some questions.
Can I create a XML Publisher Report for the EBS without a Standard Oracle Report in EBS.
So that I can build up the files with the Desktop Publisher, create Data Definition / Template with Upload / Create the executable und concurrent and than only start the new program in EBS ?
I have the situation that I can start my program with the template in the background but ít is searching for the report on the file system.

can i do it only with the xml Publisher , because when i tried it in the past and get all the staff like Template / DD / CP up and running and started the CR i get an error from the system that he is missing a report directly in the file system... so he searched for the report himself on system like a standard 6i Report. But the template and the dd is stored in the db. So my question again, can I use the XML Puplisher without a Standard Report or can i use a dummy file only for checking and after that he use my template / dd.

Installing Canon MP830 without disk.
