Xorg fails on keyboard

Question

Hello,
I am running Solaris 10 x86/xx64 on a precision dell 470 (with 2 Xeon 3.0ghzs). The video card is a NVidia, for which I've downloaded and installed the NVidia Solaris driver.
I am unable to get Xorg to run properly. I am running Sun XOrg 1.1 for Solaris 10 (XWin Rel 6.8.2) that came with the Solaris 10 CDs. When I attempt to start it, it core dumps on a Signal 11. Looking at the log file, the only error I see is:

I can't imagine what's going on. PreInit errors are usually due to failure to handle some device, or because of a bad driver. What am I missing?

I get the same keyboard error you do, but in my case, everything starts up and runs fine. I suspect your problem may not be related to the keyboard.
Are you running the default Nvidia driver from the Xorg distribution (nv, which is really, really slow), or the Nvidia driver available on their website (nvidia, which is much faster)?
