XP conversion process has stopped

I have followed all the steps up to .... Remove the Rescue and Recovery disc when prompted and your computer will restart.. At the prompt I removed the RandR disc but the "Rescue and Recovery 4 screen just hangs there and after waiting half an hour I tried manual restart Ctrl+Alt+Del and even the on off button but it will not respond
HELP what is the next step please?

We need some more information on what you're doing. It sounds like you're trying to recover the system back to Windows XP? Did you burn the recovery discs or purchase them?
You say the system will not turn off. Press and hold the power button until the system turns off - then try to restart it and let us know what happens.
Also it would be helpful to know which system you have and the MTM. Click here for details on how to find this information

i had exactly the same problem while updating using the latest NSU on Windows Vista with SP1.
I guess there is some compatibility problems between the latest version of NSU and Vista.
I tried with Windows XP SP2 and the latest version of NSU, i was able to update my E90 to the firmware version - 200.34.73
In case, you are using XP, I would suggest you uninstall NSU as per the FAQ in Nokia web site and reinstall the latest version.

Webkit 2 web process has stopped working

every time i open a page in safari this page pops up saying webkit 2 web process has stopped working and then the page restarts.any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Uninstall Safari and reinstall:
Safari 5.1.7 for Windows - Support - Apple
If this doesn't work, I suggest migrating to a different browser given that: Farewell Windows Safari, as Apple excludes its homegrown browser ...

BT Cloud - F-Secure Host Process Has Stopped Worki...

I have the desktop BT Cloud application running on Windows 8 and although the toolbar tray icon runs, everytime I try to open the cloud app I get the following error:
F-Secure Host process has stopped working
It doesn't work in compatability mode for Win 7 or Xp.
If I uninstall (which deletes all my backed up data) and re-install it works for a short time before getting the same error.
Anybody else had this issue ?

I got this message. Thunking spooler apis from 32 to 64 process has stopped working. This in Firefox4.0

It happens when i start a speciall program. After a very long time it starts. A program with citrix. Problem started with Firefox.4.0.
With Firefox 3.6 it worked normal.

I feel this is an issue with the operating system as it seems to be effecting many printer brands.

Having this same problem with my HP ENVY 7645. Troubleshooter keeps telling me to uninstall and reinstall software. I've done this 3 times now and still get the error message. Any solutions?

Why do I keep getting web2kit has stopped working and then get kicked out of facebook?

Try deleting cookies in Preferences > Security
Then empty the cache. Quit and relaunch Safari.

I've just downloaded and installed the very latest drivers from AMD and installed them. Still, I get the "clc.exe has stopped working" errors when I launch PS. I do not get this, or any other errors, when opening or running any other programs, and have never once gotten a blue screen or had any failures in this system for the two or three years it's been running.
While it's remotely possible that there is some error in AMD's latest (and previous) drivers for this video card, what seems to fit the symptoms I have, is that there is some problem in Adobe's code.
Previous versions of Photoshop open and run fine on this system. Other CAD and graphics programs run fine, too, with no crashes, lockups, or failures.
Still, if there's something else that needs to be updated for my video system, to make the Adobe errors go away, I'm open to do whatever updates are necessary. I'm running an AMD Radeon HD 5700 series display adapter, driver date 11/20/2014, version 14.501.1003.0. Device manager says the device is working properly (for whatever that's worth).
The computer is running Win 7 64 bit ultimate. Processor is AMD Phenom II X6 1090T six-core processor. All has been running flawlessly for several years, and continues to do so with every application except Adobe Photoshop 14.501.1003.0.

Bridge - Batch Processing has stopped working...help

I am using Photoshop for Windows in CS2. Have been for years. Work with batch processing and Web Gallery all the time...for years.
Batch Processing and Web Gallery stopped working (along with other Photoshop features). I upgraded to Windows 7, and photoshop/bridge/indesign, etc work once again.
Batch Processing and Web Gallery still don't work. When I select items Bridge and click "Tools", "Photoshop", "Web Photo Gallery" it clicks over to photoshop, as if the process is about to begin. But then Photoshop lies there doing nothing. No action menu pops up if I select "Batch" no "Web Photo Gallery" dialog box initiates if I select the gallery.
Any assistance, that can save me the $1000 on a CS upgrade, will be greatly apprecieated.

Look in edit/preferences/scripts and make sure there is a checkmark for both Bridge and Photoshop. Without that they can't talk.

This doesn't really answer your question, but you should know that Safari is no longer being developed for Windows and will no longer get security updates. You should be using another browser.

I have had numerous people call and ask why I didn't reply to their texts...and I look, but have not received any new texts. YES, I have restarted phone. I have cleared data as well as cache on all apps. I have downloaded the vzw messaging app, which seems silly, since it happens with several different processes and apps, but all to no avail. I am missing texts from my employer, from my family. This did happen, but rarely, before this "soak test". It is now Kitkat version 19.6.3.obake_verizon.en.US. THIS is when I started having problems...like 50 times a day kind of problems! I have seen hundreds of posts all over the internet over the past 3 days. Does no one know how to fix this??? Shouldn't there be a way to revert phone to a pre-update state? and no, hard reset did NOT work!!!! I have been with verizon for well over 15 years, but I have not upgraded my lines and will not in July either. This is ridiculous. It's not like my games aren't working, it is my messaging and "android os"...my lifeline at work!

Oh no, I am sorry to hear your messages are not working since the software update. I greatlly appreciate doing all that troubleshooting to try and get the messaging application back in business. I know how much I rely on my messages so I can understand the urgency to get this resolved. Have you had a resolution ticket opened since you started experiencing issues with your messages? Does this happen with all contacts or just some? Please provide additional information to ensure we get to the bottom of this for you.

Is there a way to stop and then resume an ipod video conversion process?

I am trying to convert videos to play on my new iPod Classic. The conversion process is painfully slow. I need to move the computer. Is there a way to stop the conversion process and then resume it later where you left off? The only way I have been able to figure it out is to put the laptop to sleep and then open it up later to resume. This is a problem too as I have an external USB drive hanging off the side. Any ideas?

AFAIk you can just uninstall Thunderbird and reinstall. The profile will not be deleted. If you want to make sure, however, make a backup of your profile folder first.

(google is your friend :9 )
P.S. _ Matter of fact you should regularly backup your data (e.g. your thunderbirdprofile) to some place different so as not to loose it all, if a thunderbird-bug/virus/windows-failure/Layer8-Problem corrupts your data.
