XP without SP2? What should I do now?

So like a complete idiot I tried installing Windows XP Professional (without XP 2) onto bootcamp. Now my computer loads into a black screen that either says No Bootable Disk or has a blinking underscore and a black screen.
I had a slipstreamed version of XP2, but it was just a moment of absent-mindedness. I have considered putting in my slipstreamed SP2 version of XP in when it's asking for a bootable disk, but I don't want to dig myself deeper.
Just wondering if anyone has advice on what to do right now? I just finished installing all the apps I wanted so if I could recover it that would be cool.. just wondering if it's possible or is my only option a clean reformat?
EDIT: When I boot from OSX disc, I can still see my MacHD and BOOTCAMP partitions so it leads me to believe some of my info is still alive in the MacHD side (says used 190GB which is accurate).. any insight on what my next step should be would be -greatly- appreciated.

Normally you should just be able to hold down the Option key on boot and see the Bootcamp / Mac options in the boot panel; click on MacHD to load that system. Does that work for you?
Whether or not XP has SP2 should not affect your ability to load the Mac side of the system. If you're happy doing so, I would advise, once you get into the Mac system, to run Boot Camp Assistant to remove the Windows partition, then run it again to start a fresh one and use your SP2 installer.

You cannot use your original files and serial number. See the following for the files you need and the associated serial number(s)....

If it hangs much longer you may need to disconnect and then grab a micro USB to restore through iTunes

like most of the programs quit's unexpectedly. some programs does not work on it. like adobe cs5 is not working. everytime time when i do click on adobe cs 5 icon it shows a message "To open “Adobe Photoshop CS5,” you need to install a Java SE 6 runtime, but you are not connected to the Internet.To install a Java SE 6 runtime later, open “Adobe Photoshop CS5” again" while i always remain connected on the net.
2. when ever i insert an avi or mpeg video disk it shows the file format not recognized. to **** with this macbook pro n its 10.7.5 lion. the same disk works/runs on windows on windows systems.

it sounds like a fualty installation of Lion, this may happen from time to time.
The best thing to do in this situation is to reinstall Lion. You will not loose anything doing this, but you should always keep back ups of your information.

basically hold Cmd+R on boot..
first go to disk utility, verify and repair your disks and permissions. Exit out of Disk utility and then go directly to "reinstall Lion"
choose that and let it reinstall.
Adobe CS6 does need Java to run.
To play your movies you might need to get an application called VLC. VLC is a free app and will play most videos and music files you throw into it.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you have no service on the iPhone. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. There is one step you did not mention trying that i think is worth trying.
If you see No Service in the status bar of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Remove the SIM card. If the SIM card is damaged, worn, or bent, or if it's too big or small for the SIM tray, contact your carrier for a new one. Then reinsert the SIM card.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

That number is for an apple server in the UK that is used for iMessage activation. A hidden SMS is snet to that number when you turn iMessage on and is used to verify your phone number. I suggest you turn iMessage off. In settings/phone turn on dial assist. Check with your carrier to see if you can send an international SMS as you end that possibility to activate iMessage. Rest your phone (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).) then turn iMessage back on.

Ask them for a refund for a device which is not fit for purpose, if they refuse contact a solicitor or seek advice from other consumer organisations that may be available to you in your area.

Delete the email. The zip file will have no effect on your iPhone.

The phone was hacked to unlock it. It relocked when you updated. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you are not/never were an AT&T customer and you do not have an original store receipt from either an AT&T or Apple store in the U.S. for a no commitment AT&T iPhone, they will NOT unlock it.
Buy a new phone.
